Walter is definitely still tiring more easily than he should be is doing SO much better! We just went for our walk in the woods and he never asked to be carried, and he did some exploring and climbing. My back is better than a couple of days ago and survived yesterday's idiocy of redoing Walter's room, but it Do Hurt. How are you?

Oh, how cool and how sweet of you!!!!! I eat most things, just not asparagus and stuff, and Walter... well, by choice he only eats white rice with butter and soy sauce at dinner time but he can be persuaded to eat cheese an dbread and ham and bananas and stuff at these times. So don't plan heavily on his account! And we can eat earlier than 7. Walter usually gets into bed after a story and a song at about 7:45 or so.

we just started home delivery from Yoder's (a local dairy) and the milk and eggs are so delicious... much more so than store-bought

No i didn't have surgery. I turned 30 and realised i was sick of killing myself. Now I have lost about 8 kilos really slowly. Go do Yoga once a week (winter its too cold) and walk every where ( i dont have a licence. )

I minored in nutrition in college.....isn't that strange...considering my eating habits for so long.....wow herein...that's great....how much is 8 kilos exactly (metric deficiency here too)

It certainly makes me smile. Like the one that painted smilies on a set of traffic lights...frown on the red, quizzical on the orange and smiley on the green. I didn't see what harm it was doing, but some jobsworth removed it.

my dad always wanted to raise cows, he likes them, so every year at the state fair we would have to walk through the cow barns and look at all the pretty cows... of course those are all groomed and ready for showing so they are beautiful

I agree that I use olive oil most of the time (or avocado oil) but sometimes the substitutions do not work... and nothing is bad for you if done in moderation... not recommending you eat a stick of butter daily or anything, but used cirrectly, it is OK

It's a rare drama that catches me, but two that have recently done so are EXCELLENT: Life of Pi, and Water for Elephants. Oh gosh, and The Kite Runner-- but that's pretty heavy and I needed a "light break" with some comedy after that one.

Like, try this: soak fresh water chestnuts overnight in soy sauce. Then roll them in brown sugar until they are well covered. Then wrap them in bacon, secure with a toothpick, and broil until the bacon is crispy. This is really excellent. But does NOT work with canned water chestnuts.

The individual ingredients of the lumpia are cooked but you leave the bean sprouts fresh. They do freeze well in this context, but are of course not really comparable to the fresh crispness. But I never leave them out after that one experiment; they're still way better than NO bean sprouts.

melt about 2 TBSP butter in fry pan. Add 1/2 c fine breadcrumbs. Place slices on broiler pan. Lightly oil. Broil from top rack until browned. Remove from oven, flip slices. Sprinkle bread crumbs over each piece. squirt a little lemon juice on each one and top with a roasted garlic clove. Return to broiler for a few minutes to "toast" the breadcrumbs.

hursh - your doc will know the laws for your state, any decision should be filed with them so they have copies, in many states, all it takes is doc signature, your signature, and witnesses in the medical record and the deed is done
