a person who doesn't speak english would initially be at a disadvantage, but would eventually learn (as we all do) that some words are there... and could monkey like we do for the rest
It's definitely limited by who speaks English; I hunted for it in French and couldn't find it
I don't know how many countries are represented though.

1Mar, you wouldn't believe the weather we are having. Toasting hot, then rain, then hail, thunderstorms, more rain as in downpours, etc.
sprite, for hundreds of years the French in Quebec were totally dominated by the church and I guess that was their way of rebelling. Other swear words (English version) are "tabernacle" and "chalice" that I know of, and like our "darn" or "dang" instead of "damn", they change them to "taberouette" or "calinne-de-binne" and such.
I really think that is fascinating, jilli. Do you think we can have a swear word icon theme... or would that be too much? :)

My back is STILL out but I got some meds from the doctor yeaterday. He also says it could be anopther 2 weeks or so before Walter is 100% so not to worry. BUT-- people have been saying, "Walter seems fine to me!" for a couple of weeks now. Only I and teh people at daycare saw that he has not been himself. And now he IS! Since yesterday, his bubbling-over joy in everything has returned. He si still pale and gets tired but my boy is BACK!!!

took them 10 years to diagnose me I was told I had everything from herpes to being allergic to my husbands sperm LOL!

Oh, I've had my child trailer for about 18 years (when the girls were little); now I have a puppy and am adapting it for his use when we go bike riding.
yep...we have that lady...he just hates to wear his helmet with it and so when we are riding along a busy street (and want him to wear it) he remained unimpressed. We're still doing short trips to get him used to it.
...my puppy doesn't need a helmet yet, just something to keep him in the darn contraption! He's a hound dog (mini-beagle) and sniffs for anything and everything!!!
I see pini...that seems like a great idea-especially if used trailers can just be adapted! Avid bikers would probably love it b/c they could bring their pets along then. (I've never understood the pet stroller thing...but the pet bike trailer, that makes sense).
