I've got short ones and long ones, and some up to me belt. I'm never dressed 'till I've got on me gumboots. Whenever I sing at the opera, my gumboots are a must. They help me hit the high notes, and protect me feet from dust. They keep the water well away, so me voice won't get no rust. You will not never see me without me gumboots. Now (names of current unpopular politicians), they haven't made a hit. They're ruining the country, more than just a bit. If they keep on how they're going, we'll all be in turd. So you'd better get yer feet up yer gumboots.

Oh well, fantasy Monday would include a trip to the shops where I would discover that all clothes that I liked fitted me and came with an unbelievably low price tag.
and then lunch with GC?
I'd proceed to lunch where I'd discover that all things chocolatey were declared calorie free for the day.
my ISP is messing me about, grrr
Moving right along, I'd go to the swimming pool and swim for a couple of hours (I can't swim), then would emerge to find Nicky Clarke waiting to do a cut and blow dry for me.
I'd saunter home, find that my daughters had cleaned the house from top to bottom, Spangle had been walked and the postman had been with the cheque from my winning lottery ticket.
I'd end the day by giving a piano recital, with full orchestral backing.
Just another day, really.
Flipping heck every day now I get the red banner "word coun't be added" and after that it is hit am miss. Wow all of that on a Monday ... imagine what Friday's going to be like!

actually, he was exhausted -the tri was in the early am, then bike stuff all afternoon, then baseball game at 5pm. He was ZONKED! We talked him out of riding the bike to school this am (we're 2 houses from the school driveway, lol)

the tri was a Youth Tri - 8-16 year olds. A 150 (yard? meter? not sure) swim (6 lengths), a 1.5 mile bike ride, and a 3/4 mile run... he did it in 25:14

he can ride after school - there are two many crazy moms driving down our road at 8am, and you can't ride on school grounds during school hours....

How was your vacation, Luc?
great bea tx - was used to warmer temps in Myrtle Beach in august (was 84-94 degrees instead of 90 - 102) - rested - fun with the kids, relaxed - all in all a very pleasant vacation ! - and i didn't even miss Babble !!!!!!!

I think the funeral is the right time, Grandma is often about appearances, Ministers wife and all, and it would mortify her if family didnt show for funeral, I think, but I cant be sure....I think I'll call my Mom tomorro....
