I have just been a good mum, which was tough. My little girl is definitely getting better, not well yet but lots better, and she wanted to go horseriding tomorrow. And I told her no. Because I don't think a riding lesson will be much fun when your muscles are weak from lying down for 2 weeks and you aren't able to make the horse follow your leads.

I had 2 broken and 2 cracked ribs they took forever to heal
hey i been there spritey - in the 6 years i had my horse i broke my left ankle five times and my right ankle three times, two broken toes and a swollen nose (not broken though) and i hated not being able to ride through those times

i think what hurt the most was that each time i was out of action i had to give away my pocket money to pay for someone to ride him for me
I broke a rib through (honest truth) coughing. Didn't believe it at first, finally had to go to the hospital because I couldn't breathe or move, and there they found 1 or 2 ribs were broken. Took a long time to heal indeed.
top of my list of things im going to splurge on when i finally become kidless is a horse and get back into it all

well I may as well tell you all, I have some sad news........ my lichen scerosis is getting worse my DR said I need to take it easy more, this means Ihave to cut back on my ladies slowly ~sigh~ I knew some day it would happen but was not ready for it so soon
one good thing came from it, though: I can finally tell people what kind of pain I feel in my pelvic bone. It is the same as a broken rib.

It was a schoold ay fo rme so he had to go to daycare, but because itw as his last ever day there they made a big fuss over him and he had a party. Then back here for opening presents (including a brand new Diego backpack for school), and anything he wanted fo rdinner. After I got him off to bed we heard him singing "Happy Birthday" over an dover for about half an hour.

in very short, MonkeyG, Caya's 'best' friend slammed a cardoor shut on Caya's hand by accident. Rob yelled at her to open it again, then got Caya home to cool the hand. Next thing we know was the parents of the friend being mad at us because Rob had raised his voice.

Accusing us of terrorising our kids (they are scared to death of us, they claim), and their daughter as well, and all we do is crazy and asocial. yes, it was. All he could have done if he had thought about it, was telling the girl at that moment it wasn't her fault and he would let her know soon how the hand was. But he was totally focused on Caya.
I didn't think he'd have been angry, but I can souind pretty urgent in that sort of situation and a child might mistake that for angry. Thought it must have been like that.

Kazzer: the sad thing is that the girl never once has asked caya how her hand was doing, she gave Caya a very hard time because Rob had not been kind enough. Herin - my Kira used to run back inside for her litter tray. She'd been a cast outside cast and a hunter for most of her life until she turned up at the end of my garden almost at her wits end and met me. it was love at first sight for both of us and she knew I'd make her life comfortable for the rest of it.
