the other girl is telling the weirdest stories to the other class mates, trying to isolate Caya. But also she is driving Caya crazy with complimenting her every 5 minutes (literally) on her shoes, pencil, years-old sweater, etc etc etc and following her everywhere.
I have unhappy furbrats. Silverclaw has licked all the gravy from her food, and now wants more food so she can lick the gravy off that.
Hobbit has only been given dog food for breakfast. Not quite sure what she was expecting, but she looked at it and then looked at me with huge sad eyes and walked off sadly
unfortunately i think the child is being influenced by the parents and pretty much when it gets like that its very hard to curb
I had not, Haz. It is an ugly situation that has gotten us worried for months now. Even the teachers are out of their depths.

and it isn't just in school, it is in the playground and with the riding lessons as well. So Caya is having a hell of a time, coping with seeing all places she felt loved and secure being influenced, except home.

ah, bullying: alientating friends, being sarcastic and intimidating... time to have that child dealt with. Letter to the school, copied to your education department... TELLING them what you want to happen now. You have rights, as does Caya. in this country, I have the right to tell the school not to allow a child to be anywhere near my child, not to speak to, look at or talk about my child. we had another talk with the teachers yesterday, mrP, and they are taking the issue very very seriously. Today measures will be taken to bring the bullying and alienating friends into the open and dealt with. Caya will be seated in a better place. The other girl will be put on notice to leave Caya alone.
otherwise, threaten to sue them for not keeping your child safe and they WILL sort it out... It is called damage control. I would be throwing those words around a lot whilst threatening them.

better still.... get an apprehension violence order :D the children's parents will have to deal with it then.

Caya didn't want to tell the teachers every time things happened, she was afraid they would grow irritated and bored by her complaints. She cried so much yesterday when I told her her teachers want her to come to them with everything and will support her through the whole mess and will do what they can to make things better.

At my complex, they give you a big orange sign you can put on your door if you want trick or treaters. It should be awild night, for the dog specially.

growing up, our street didnt have many houses... mom would drive us to the townhouse section of the neighborhood -- we could get a lot of candy with minimal walking, and she could see us from the car, so she got to stay warm... it was a win-win for us all!
