ursh, I have been diagnosed with PTTS and they put me on meds to help with it... but the meds were worse for me and now I am stuck looking for a solution

They put me on Efexor and I thought my heart would explode (anxiety) and I couldn't eat at all (nausea)... so I asked to come off them.

have you gotten any regular therapy? i've heard that there's a treatment involving rapid eye movement that is very helpful in dealing with the effects of trauma, and also cognitive behavioral is helpful...
cj, don't worry to ask about it, have been doing this since 2000, non friggin stop
here they seem to like to use eglanol which they can give to breastfeeding moms for anxiety and it seems to be the drug of choice
I do get regular therapy, it is required after my surgery(s)... but the therapist I have is not very useful. I am dropping her and finding another because I prefer/respond to congitive therapy
sorry mrp - i am sure you get sick and tired of talking about it - just interested as have daughter who has ptt after two attacks on her - one through the window of her car and one more recently at gunpoint
I can't stand going to a shrink, have them sit there and repeat everything back to me! I know what I said!!! I need a solution to get through to another level!!

Doing OK. Sorry about your virus! The old bakfiets was just hauled off for 100 Euros (the same as the tuneup on the new one will cost) by a metalworker who wants to make something fun out of it. Couldn't be happier with that conclusion for it! Scrambling and panicky about school, going to go out as a family and buy a tree in a little while, doing OK.

Springbok is farmed in Germany. Gets cheaper every year; about equivalent to decent beef now, price-wise. Fresh. It's like less gamey venison. Really tasty.
