Mom used to make some sort of cocoa cake that made its own caramel pudding, poured hot water on it just before baking, pudding formed on the bottom - delicious, haven't been able to recreate it.

Here rbud:
1 cup all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup granulated sugar 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 cup milk 2 tablespoons butter, melted 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 2 cups hot water Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9 inch square pan. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cocoa. Stir in the milk, melted butter & vanilla. Spread evenly into the prepared pan. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cocoa. Spread over the top of the batter in the pan. Pour the hot water over the entire pan of batter. Bake for 40 minutes in the preheated oven. The cake is done when the cake part is on top and the bottom is of a pudding consistency.

my kids have been going for about 2 years now and I watched. Teacher is the husband of a friend of mine. He knew I'd love to learn aikido but was afraid, because of my handicaps. He told me everybody can do it, one way or another. Did my first lesson last week, tonight is 2nd.

am so proud of me, lol. I even did a simple 'fall' on my back. Never thought I'd dare to try. But I do now, and I am encouraged to take it very very slow. Oh, and my kids got their 6th kyu yesterday, great isn't it!

my daughter is in a professional ballet school and she was asked to be in the finale (Chicago) as she is a very good dancer. She checked out the dance, was explained her role, and decided that it was tasteful and very artistic.... very deliberate and slow dance moves. I was very proud of her for being involved in such a difficult dance routine
