I've heard of that
holy crap a yc6 who woulda thought
Mike Myers used to say that
I've seen the yc word in Old English, like maybe Chaucer or old poems. I think it means "named" or "called".

PB Judy\
like an abbreviation for someone who passed tests for college yc....

thx jilli for the info on the yc. very interesting
thanks Jilli and West!
*grabs spoon* thx Pav. want some of my coffee?
Penalty Box, jai, for those who post words in the chat. Also known as the Sin Bin
west Mike Myers used ferklempt(sp?)
ah I knew it was something like that his character was a hoot
but we usually keep it well stocked with goodies...so it's not really a penalty...

Oh. I should know that since I spend so much time there!

hi dc
I never knew I was a 'wordie' but I guess I am
howdy dc; isn't it bit late for us to be up?
right seain and hi
Westford, thank you for the y6 -- couldn't get the correct spelling without your help.
indeed. I went gaming and had an RC, that's my excuse
hi, west and judy and jill and christine an jaian
just got back from my a wedding in Philly; that's my excuse
RC = Roman Catholic -- dc, you shock me!
OMG not MY wedding; a friend's daughter's wedding
lol jilli
RC - Royal Crown cola
LOL Jill
my Tom is a Roman Catholic
oh, how boring!
I used to love RC haven't seen it in years
bless Tom, dc ;)
RC is very available around here
he converted about 5 years ago, jill
converted from what, dc?
Roman Catholocism
from what did he convert?
agnosticism
I thought he had converted TO Roman Catholicism
indeed he did, jill
oh..that is a big step there
oh! that's interesting!
not such a welcoming religion for your relationship though.
indeed not, ruru. he actually boycots attending mass due to the current Pope. He does hit confession now and again though
hi, handsome ruru
The new pope is a little tooo conservative ..no?
Hello jilli
-t makes the past tense of the yiddish sh5
not just conservative, but backward-leaning in some ways, from my understanding, ruru
The Roman Catholic church is so far out of reality in my opinion..
as I've said before, I'm on a sabbatical from organised religion
the RC Church of America is among the most progressive, though they have their problems, as does any large organization
well said jilli
i find that reasonable an rational, jilli
Oh. I did not know religion was organized.....(LOL!)
Is that the soda church DC?
well, the Church of Rome does have a history of supporting royals
I believe in faith, not church
hear, hear, bugsaw!
very witty DC..
faith in what? church of soda? royals? what the...?
:)
Royal Crown (RC) cola vs the Roman Catholic (RC) church, with an odd monarch tossed in for good measure, gortmold :)
whatever suits gortmold. Just believe in something greater than yourself
pa x 14, pe x9, what am I missing?
I think the coolest part is we are still free to believe whatever we choose... whether it is organized, a denomination, or whatever... hopefully America will remain free enough that we have such liberties
the Flying Spaghetti Monster Incarnate
oh, very well said, Dee!
amen
in communion do they give pasta jilli?
I am of the spiritual sort that likes spirituality but is leery of organizing God
i have a friend who believes in the Invisible Pink Unicorn, for her holiness predates the FSM
probably, ruru
lol dc!
mix you are further with the p's than I am
Unicorns don't exist?
I had angel hair pasta for dinner does that count?
the IPU started out much as the FSM, and now both have their adherents
I am missing two p's
yes it does, west!
anyone have all the l's... I am missing one
I only have 12
I only have 8 Ls
i have 15 pa
15 l's here.. missing some

oh please show up, Lickety!
Hello, Jilli, noticed your icon theme and thought it was a perfect time to say hello...
Hi Susan!!! Welcome back!
Hi Susan.
and I missed a whole bloomin conversation on religion...but I did enjoy my Haagen Dazs...strawberry of course...
Thank you! I got very good news. Had my surgery, they repeated the pathology tests because they didn't believe them...
and....?
"Not a single cancer cell found"!! Whoopee!
les chaesettes de la archiduchess sont seche at archi-seche - the things that stick with one throgh the years LOL
How wonderful!
oh, wonderful, susuan!
what wonderful news, susan-victoria :)
what good news susan!!
cheers for Susan!
Pretty amazing actually, Bugsaw because they started out with a Cancer IV diagnosis (terminal)
fabulous
16 pa's total
*picks up susuan and swings her around the room in joy*
time for sleep; happy Babbling all!!
what do you put it down to, Susan?
Funny, I told the doctors from the outset that I don't believe in illness. I'm thrilled tho' and the family is too.
sweet dreams, judy
night judy!
Stupidity probably, Gortmold, because I never accepted the diagnosis.
good night ciocia sleep well
I believe we know more than we think we do if we listen to our hearts. How good that you listened to your heart more than the doctors
positive attitude and stubborness go a lonnng way susan.. good for you
Absolutely Ruru
here are the p's: pa 4, 4, 5, 4, 5, 6, 5, 4, 4, 5, 5, 4, 5, 4, 4, 4 pe 4, 5, 4, 5, 6, 5, 4, 4, 4
I had absolutely awful side effects throughout the whole ordeal (a year before they attempted surgery) but the cancer suffered more than I did.
es7 for my 1st 7.

You're welcome.
well my senility set in today. How is SPangle?
Morning all. Haz, did you get to see the tall ships? We, stupidly, took notice of the weather forecast and didn't go. By the time we WOULD have been on the ferry the sun was beaming down...RATS !!
She's fine, arranging the paws as usual.
Hi Liz
Hi Liz
Hi Herin.
Hello liz - I'd really wanted to go but between work and other commitments didn't manage. My daughter and her boyfriend went yesterday and really enjoyed it (as you said the weather cleared up really well). It was very crowded!
Hi Katie.
O liz what a shame. My idot weather forecaster did the same thing today. 20 and fine with scattered showers not cold and raining all day. Not that I am complaining about the rain.
The whole country seemed to have decided to go to see them - they're so spectacular.
Pity I missed it, have been the last two years, a good day out. Ah well, next year!
oh my I just nearly fainted at 57 C words
Liz, is there any chance you could see them as they head away from here? It's reasonably bright here today.
Now THERE's an idea, might head out to Portpatrick to have a look.
It would be worth the trip. Seeing them in full sail would be something!
great idea haz
Bring your binoculars!
If we didn't have the phone (drat!) we'd be heading towards Whitehead or Islandmagee to see them from a height.
Any idea what time they leave?
Let me check for you.
Parade of sail starting from approx 2pm leaving Belfast.
Great, thanks. I'll report back if we spy them. Thanks Haz.
http://www.belfastcity.gov.uk/tallship s/ is the council website. It's been the talk of the place here for days.
Hope you see them, liz!
O wow. that is amazing
fees
Ouch, sorreee. Please, no penalty box, I've got ships to see!
I think we should let you off just this once
I think Liz was a tad excited about the ships
We are a forgiving people.
right I'm off for some drugs and soft food, bbs
Thank you for your understanding. I'll go and wash my face in preparation for outing. Byeee.
I hope the drugs are soft as well.
Bye liz.
lol haz, ibuprofen is not illegal yet thank goodness
Oh Katie :( Clove oil on that tooth hun
Are you needing a visit to the dentist?
She's obviously scuttled off to get those drugs into her.
poor love
sc 7,32?
sc7 - you'll turn red when you find it.
Phone...
back from the drugs. Absess started yesterday, dentist all shut unti Monday! At 2.30 am I was in such paid I seriously considered paying hundreds of pounds to get seen today but in the daylight I am being a little braver lol
You're right, Haz- I did!
me too jaian
Glad you got it, jaianniah.
Is there no emergency dentist (called the pain clinic here for good reason!)?
Or under-the-counter antibiotics?
couldn't find anything without going to A&E and that seemed a little over the top. The only problem is that I can't shut my teeth so eating seems out of the question, may suck on some bread later
Smoothies or soup sounds like the thing.
Last two sc's?
sc5 -a little piece of material, sc6 -an unfortunate graze, especially if it's on metal.
typical that it happens at a weekend. I'm really busy at work at the moment but will need to take tomorrow off to get it sorted. Luckily I brought loads of work home to do over the weekend
nm- got 'em!
must be affecting my brain I had both of those without the s on the front!
At least if you can get the pain to be bearable, it's a start.
good morning again babbler's!
Good morning Wolvie.
what does the 8 start with please?
ea8 -
ah. figures. ty. :-)
needed to plural my ea 7. :-)
It looks strange, doesn't it?
yes it does. but then, that happens to me a lot here. ;-)
the yc for example. yowsa
It's unexpected..
I had to monkey it - never had run into it before
You may never see it again - another feature of babble.
I have 2 te 's from the left column, a 4 and a 5 - what am I missing from that t?
Some of the old-time babblers have grown weary of waiting to see cwms and crwth again.
true haz - I have actually le***ed a lot of words here
two te 5
well, this newer babbler won't be waiting for those!!
ty BR
got - was missing the electric guy. ;-)

Good morning from the Adirondack Mtns! Garnet Hill Lodge in North River, NY to be exact.
Oh, that is funny. Not for her but for us.
hi Scrabs
Hi Scrabller
hi, Scrqbs, are y ou having fun?
Scrabbler!!!
*Scrabs*
how are things in the mountains?
My sister and I had our last paddle on the lake earlier and we will leave after breakfast.
It is stunningly beautiful up here! Mountains everywhere, trees....heaven!
sounds like fun Scrabbler. Nice weather?
hope you have had mostly good weather
hepa
oops
sorry
The Adirondacks are magnificent
its ok joanne i tried it too
Great weather except for a brief storm on Thursday. It came in rapidly over the mountain while we were kayaking. We retreated into the woods and hid under trees, under a tarp, and got pelted with hail!
ouchie !
That lasted 30 min then it rained another hour. The dark clouds passed, out came the sun and we went back to kayak.
Nice start
i love kayaks
As we huddled under the tarp, listening to and seeing the hail, we just laughed.
They are so much fun, aren't they, Hurshy?
paddlepaddlepaddle
sounds wonderful Scrabbler. Hi Hursy
hi, hi all
hello hurshy
hi Hurshy
Paddle, relax, repeat-----I have a shirt that says that.
hehe
i had a weird dream last night
what?
i won a lot of money. but it was a bad dream.
There is a group of mentally retarded men here, on a People & Places trip, and they are so sweet. I have been talking with them for the last few days. Annie, I am now talking with Joey, who has Down Syndrome. He is so adorable--telling me about his girlfriend.
good Sunday all
Hi Boobear
Scrabbs, How old is Joey? Does he live at home?
good morning Boo
hi boo
Hi Annie and Nono
Joe just told me that he will be 35 on Aug 29th.
He has a birthday coming up.
One of the gentleman in the group, in his 60's I would guess, is now playing the piano--he plays by ear---amazing savant gift!
Scrabbs, Can you ask Joe where he lives or is that too personal a question?
I also wonder who is sponsoring the trip/
Joe lives in Rochester. Not all of these guys live together. They are on this trip through People & Places. Volunteers take people on trips everywhere.
I am thinking of becoming a volunteer.
Thanks Scrabbler.
my childhood is se4ing back into my mind and making me imagine that i smell pancakes that my dad is cooking downstairs
Joey is TOO sweet! Talking about working at the workshop, about going home tomorrow and calling his friends, about his girlfriends of the past--he broke up with Lisa because she was nasty.
I might have pancakes for breakfast.
Sounds like Bobby.
He has folded papers in his pocket with names + phone numbers.
Scrabbler, Workshops are a godsend. When Bobby comes home with his paycheck he is so proud. He cashes the check at the bank by himself.
Joey sounds like a sweetheart.
Yes, these men have discussed what they do with their money. They went to the Adirondack Museum yesterday and bought things in the gift shop with their money.
Wonderful. Bobby spends his money on copies of Egyptian artifacts and baseball books.
OK, my sister has come downstairs so we are going to have breakfast. Bye all!
Bye. Enjoy the pancakes
Bye Scrabbler.
Annie hearing about Bobby makes me smile
bye bye Scrabs have a save trip home
herin, I am happy that you feel that way.
My friend in high schools brother was high end autistic. He had a great deal of respect for me as I treated him like anyone else
such diversified interests he has Annie, Egyptian artifacts and baseball. I bet he likes to talk about them too
Nono, Yes he does. He is a fan of The History Channel and a big fan of the Mets.
good boy! The history channel has some awesome programming.
The Mets are my favorite team as well
There is a division in this house as I am a Yankee fan but it makes for lively game watching.

Sprite. Hope you'll heal soon. xx Things are okay here, thanks.

seain do you have a decent photo of me from this year's meetup you can email me?
slugs are eating my beans too
i'll look around TO and see what i may find
the problem will be the decent part *evil grin*
was a horrid year here for gardens.... too much rain and too many cool nights
had not one single tomato and the plants are dead already
don't think it will be much better here, Nanette. My tomato plants are still tiny and so are my courgettes.
there is a big issue with blight spread throuhg con taminated pllants sld at big box home improvement sotres
tomatoes are affected. cna't remembr the name of the disease.
got my plants from a nursery TO so did not have that problem but might just as well have
I think I will try and get some biodynamic saplings (?) next year to get my garden started, or real good seeds maybe.
what is a courgette?
sprite what are courgettes?
let me check the dictionary
snap, NoNo
great minds and all that peri
zucchinis
aha, thanks sprite, I like zucchini
ok thanks
funny how some words can be so totally different
wow it's pretty bad when they won't grow
neighbor had good luck with zucchini and yellow summer squash this year
my plants are blooming like mad, but don't make zucchinis at all.
hm i he5 that complaint last week on garden show not sure what it was. can you stuff the blossoms?
I don't know 'stuff' in this meaning... what should I do?
they are a delicay can be filled with bread crumb mixture and fried
hello
hi phaeton
pick the blossoms and fill them savory things an cook them, sprite
or sauteed - check for recipes
hi phaeton
ah ok, that's an idea!
hi pahe
squash blossoms are tasty, many recipes available
sounds like they are not getting pollenated sprite
hi paeton
never ate squash blossoms, hmm
Owl, are you talking about the blossoms or the zucchini?
that is another option, indeed. I could try and brush the flowers. Lots of bees and ... (huge bees?) though.
the blossoms. sprite, what happens when the blossoms fall off? what do you have?
sprite, I found this on the net: Zucchini plants have both female and male flowers, and bees usually do the pollination. However, some years, I remove a male flower that has opened and rub the pollen on the female flower just after it also has opened. This will give me fruit. To understand the difference between a male and a female flower, look it up on the internet. A female flower has a swollen small zucchini behind it.
Nanette, thanks! That is very helpful, I will try.
yes but i think t hey are self pollinating. it's coming back to me now. I will awat to check the website for you sprite
(bumble bees, perhaps? Those huge beelike creatures who can take up so much pollen that they cannot fly anymore?)
Firewords....a fun puzzle!
zucchini porn.. wowee
woot jaianniah! Gratz.
congrats, jaianniah
SPRITELY!!!!!!! *many many hugs and kisses*

Hi boo

hi phaeton
hi boo
thank you Sprite. years ago i came quite close to doing the music thing professionally. Been debating following that path again. Much decision making about such right now.
follow your bliss, seain. Your heart will tell you. But I know it isn't easy. *hugs*
seain - be professional if you like, and if your finances allow it. Is alabaster working yet? *wicked mama grin*
alabaster needs snipped, poor neutered Feldspar is tired of him trying to mount her. Hell be 1 on the 24th
and Sprite, that is the goal. :)
poor alabaster!
and poor feldspar...
I know! And you will.
Hell is an interesting word in that respect, hehehe
yes, but feldsy deserves peace, and i don't want him to start spraying, which praise Elvise, he's not yet.
I think, seain, that if you go pro, I want to have notice and I will at least do my best to support you. Make some CDs. My fiddler-kid would love some!

i think there is a huge ne4, they come in becasue of the rain but even if out they will remian. last time they had a nest in a tree and i did not even know it.
the ant baits or small plastic things you put inside where the ants travel. We've had no trouble with cats, rabbit, or dog bothering them.
these are phily ants, they are tough and street smart! they don't go into the traps. for real.
ant motels, they check in, check out then go visit their relatives, deadly and effective
must drill into the ground and insert liquid to kill this nest
Dc did you clue ec 6/27?

How is Terra doing?
Terra has been ill, from a virus. Virus is over, but I am still not too happy with how he is. He eats irregularly and isn't yet his happy, jumpy self. Went back to the vet. He did not worry about eating etc, but he checked the hips and said there is too much room and they are very painful. Must come back in 1,5 months and if there is no improvement, he will make X-rays.

Yes, it does dry them up which is what I want! I use rubbing alcohol in a syringe
Oh shoot, I did, well into the PB I go. Party in the PB, any one what to come?

Congratulations Mary on your fireworks! Good for U!
wtg Mary
Ahh well, all are welcome, to join me in the hot tub.
draft animals are ha*ne*sed to the hay wagon; and, to rent
And Congratulations Mary!
congrats, Mary
ty been working on it for half a day. DR1965 love the puppies
ha 7/32 is ha plus hook letter plus snake letter plus a vowel plus a cross letter redturtlehead.
Oh golly not a fish, Thank you very much BR.
and Minver.
yw, redT
run for you lives! heeeeeres crossy!:)
hi cross.
Hello crosshair! How are you? Welcome to the puzzle!
ty Mary- we do enjoy the pups.
Thanks for the ha7!
*running for my life now*
* hides behind door*
a hook letter and a snake letter and cross letter ... these letters never change ... may as well just say them
Crossy- I was telling megadude of your love of bacon at the breakfast table ...
He is a member of your church :)
I Love Bacon! I want a bacon weave in a few months.
we had maple bacon for breakfast with our waffles
I had peanut butter and english muffin, delish.
i love english muffins!
i could make you a bacon weave blt red, would bring a tear to yer eye;)
That is what I was telling MegaDude!
and my arteries I am sure.
indeed dr? all are wecome at bacon lovers;)
funny thing,i convert more americans..must be our bacon;)))
interesting..we just bought a tub of bryers tripple chocolate iced cream and its set up like neopolatin except it has mild choc, dark choc and fudge!
I want the strip of mild. may have to have a no sugar added fudge bar. those things are sooo good and 40 cals only, amazing.
That would be heaven to me Crossy- I am an ice cream girl
bryers trople chocolate double churned it says
My favorite is peppermint ice cream, or peanut butter...
ok- wrote it down
Oooh I am sort of in the grid today....
I tried black cherry chocolate chip frozen yogurt last night.. was good but was not ice cream
my first part of my name is the sc7.
my favorite is MooseTrack Icecream
wife wont even speak to me while she is eating it,justs glares at me and hold the bowl closer lol'
hi folks (mine is old fashioned pistachio, followed by maple walnut, mint chocolate chip and a tie between butter pecan and coffee ... love the stuff!)
LOL_ Megadud ate the last of the moosetracks which is why I had frozen yogurt
oohh, black cherry vanilla is in there too somewhere :)
ohhhh..crossy remembers pistachio iced cream:))
(and we could probably have a "Bacon Off" between our homes, crossy .. maple bacon, yum!)
i worked at a dairy from 1980-84 and made tons of the stuff;)
considering the ice cream and bacon, it' s little wonder why i'm not svelte ;)
mm crossy ponders if bacon iced cream can work....
We used to go to this Amish store as a kid, called Gettle's. they would dole out the ice cream in huge amounts hard to keep it on a cone.
lol welki, you probably get the same stuff i do maple and hickory smoked:))
Welki, you just need to take up a little running, then you will find yourself eating like, all the time.
I used to like Ben & Jerry's white russian. Then they stopped making it.Then next I liked B & J's chocolate fudge sundae and now I like Ben & Jerry's half baked.
there's a babbler who lives near binghamton, ny, near a town called endicott .. pat mitchell's ice cream parlor was a lot like that in the 70s, red
My mom grew up near Binghamton, in Unadilla, near Sydney.
our iced cream used to be the real deal, not all whipped foam and air;)
running? *faint* i am struggling right now with crappy achilles tendons and some mega plantar fasciiitis ... it's killin' me
I have been struggling with Planter fac... since May
I feel your pain
i wouldn't wish this pain on anyone, dr. i can barely walk, it brings tears to my eyes
speaking to those who have had carpal tunnel syndrome..did you start with problems opening up your hand to pick up wide stuff like jar of peanut butter bottle of pop etc?
and it interferes with my fishing, so i'm ticked off about it, too
oooh, Welki, I just got over some PF and my achilles is a bit whack but not as bad as you describe, I am so sorry.
Mine is when I walk in the morning .. I stretch my foot before i get out of bed
planter fac??
DR, they have these socks you can buy that hold your feet in the right position overnight, not etremely sexy, btu apparently they work.
my own little abbreviation
i've done those stretching things, even with a little rolly-type seesaw for my feet ... it lasts all day, 24/7. 'rest, welki,' they say .. uh, but how?
really! ... going to check that out!
socks? what are they called? i'm in!
Also, get you 2 20 ounce soda bottles, empty them fill with water, freeze, and use those to roll along your feet.
I'll go look up the socks...
when i walk down the stairs in the morning (one by one), i look like i must be methuselah's sister .. and i am not an old lady. (well, relatively speaking, anyway)
here is a web site...
wow .. this pain talk is doing wonders for my game, only 5 left!
http://www.thesock.com/
brilliant url *lol*
darn, I have 14 left. Apparently the sock does work. and I look like you too on steps welki, it hurts.
oh shhhhhhhht, that would hurt the achilles tendon! had one podiatrist tell me to start wearing heels to STOP stretching them! oy!
thanks Red...
No, the heels, welki, shorten the tendon, and then you have to stretch it to walk normally....
will read about it, thanks for the link!
yes, that's why i don't go to that podiatrist anymore
sorry, I've had a lot of injries in the nether regions....
it might hurt your tendon too much to use it until that heals up.
hello everybody. tell me about foot pain! It's a 24/7 thing for me for the past 3 years. After a while it gets tiring
Hello Nef! How are you doing? Welcome to the puzzle!
you're right, nef. it is tiring. it is exhausting to have chronic pain. on the other hand, it's a symptom of being alive, so that's a good thing :)
I just cut the heel out of one of my shoes, and it does seem to be improving my wierd tendon issue... but I dont recommend it.
and it is exhausting.
Hi nef.
*I* am okay; we are dealing with mentally ill Dtr in law again.
thats my feeling welki,as lonjg as i can feel it then im still kicking!
HI Nef
Ugh Nef. Not fun at all.
I am sorry to he4 that!
I agree welki. I had a foot/ankle injury 3 years ago, 3 surgeries later I can't be on my feet more than 2 hours at a stretch (but the ortho doc says 2 hours per day)
does anyone have the es6/ 24?
I'm trying to avoid a surgery right now, Nef, that is not encouraging!
foot problems seem to run in my family. we must collectively spend more on shoes, orthotics, podiatrists, anti-inflammatories, etc. than we do on ... ice cream!
I have found my son is making me proud to be his mother. I don't know how he does it; but he is so patient and caring that it amazes me
but ice cream is SO MUCH more fun welki... : )
what did you do to your foot, red?
DR it is the very bad burned skin on a person....think about Es plus **ar broiled burgers.
That es 6/24 word is es plus the ch 4/6 word DR1965
You did something right then Nef!!
es + the ****ge of the light brigade
We think I partially tore my tendon and to repair it my amazing body grew up some bone around it....
AH - got it - thanks
entrapping it....
which tendon, red?
its getting a lot better now.
ooh, red. why won't you have the surgery? my tendons are so damaged, that surgery is only an option if one ruptures
they detach the tendon and clean it up and then reattach the tendon. I dont know if my tendon will function correctly after all that.
Plus, its a six week recovery.
my left achilles.
better now than when you're older, red. and it's not functioning "right" now, is it? (i was told 6 - 8 weeks recovery, but i'm a bit older than you are)
well, I am still running on it, so I think its functioning enough.
and nef .. you just hug that son of yours. he must have a full plate right now .. and probably needs his mom to tell you what you just told us
mine was my post-tib tendon. They repaired it, then it tore lose and was torn lengthwise; the next surgery was a removal of that tendon, cutting out part of the heel bone, lengthening of the achilles tendon and a (fdl?) tendon transfer
HE must be one strong young man Nef!
third surgery was cutting out a decubiti on the heel that wouldn't heal
Oh NEF !!! Sounds so painful... even in writing (((HUGS)))
I tell him every day how much I admire him; and ask how I can help.
*sigh* so maybe dealing with the pain isn't such a bad idea (i take all my posts back, red)
Well, I am running a Marathon in February, after that I might do it, maybe...
that achilles tendon is now too long; which makes it interesting when youhave charley horses
fireworks ... can i clue for a few minutes before i leave?
Nef, thats sounds terrible, terrible. and I am glad your son is such a star. Lots of love for him.
YAY, welki! WTG!!!
WOOHOO WELKI!!!
thanks :)
Shoots off Roman Candles for Welki!!!!!
red, a friends' hubby had the same injury that I had but his doctor chose to use braces (he has Parkinsons disease too). I wish I'd had a doc who would have been more conservative. Do you know if there is a brace that would help you?
BTW, I like the idea of the frozen bottles for the feet! I'll have to try that!
ok 12 s words to go...
I have to go back to Podiatrist and see what he says. I think my actual cutting the heel off my shoe has really improved it... we tried a month of cataflam but I could not really tolerate it three times daily.
yucky as they sound, i did find some okay birk-looking sandals made by that grandma shoe company SAS -- and while they're pricey, they seem to have support in the right places and ease some of the pain (the style is Comfy)
actually 12 P and s words
Help with the very last SH word?
same as sc6/27 minus one letter
yiddish sounding for carrying something around Red
or a character on th eFlinstones... sh***rock
Oooh embarassing, I had the sc.... thanks everyone!!!
WElki, if they feel good... wear them!!!
ok 3 to go
2 ...
2 for me...
well, time to go .. g'night everyone. nef, you hang tight
firewords !
Gnight Welki- enjoyed chatting with you
I have a REALLY ugly pair of shoes that my orthotics fit in; I feel like I'm wearing duck feet; but I have to wear them anytime I'm on my feet for any time at all
night welki
good night Welki, good luck with your feet. and fish!
fireworks!!!!
(nef .. better duck feet with a smile on your face than beeeyootiful shoes with a grimace)
WTG Red !
wtg dr, fire! okay, i'm gone *lol*
ok .. i am off to help hubby in the garden...
beeeyootiful shoes were never something I cared about. They always had to be comfy first; then how they looked
Hang in there Nef- we are all here for you!
* Poof *
I like shoes....but need places to wear them.
and now I am going to go to bed. sadly, I am a little sleepy.
best place to wear them is on your feet
I like comfy shoes; always have. Back 40 years ago I had some red oxfords that I wore for work all the time (as a public health nurse) I loved those shoes! As ugly as they were, they were so comfortable I didn't care what anyone else thought!
good night red.
Congrats to all who got FW's while I was on telephone
Min, you are always so polite! :-)

i have to prep a lecture for 0800 and feel the same way, stid
Maybe if I read the Tony Hillerman book it will be more palatable. I chose it because it's a mystery book and I need a mystery book...
what is the lecture on, kje?
oh ru... would never waste good dark chocolate on you.... not to throw it anyway
polypharmacy
maybe you can read the adolescent lit books for me and I can deliver your lecture! *rolls eyes*
hm. okay. So you take all the pills and mix them up in a pile, and then see how many you can fit in the bottle...
LOL stid
*wicked mama grin*
hello babble friends!
In Laura Alcott's book "Eight Cousins" the doctor makes pills out of brown bread for the elderly (hypochondriac) grandmother. Seemed to work okay...

Hello featherbee! How are you?Welcome to the puzzle
weed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hi
Congratulations rururocks on finishing early! Hooray
thanks bab, - what is it with babble and sticking every inconceivable vowel in every inconceivable word in every inconceivable combination?
sorry min, i meant the ch 5/14 after the british zucchinis
Know what you mean gortmold! Isn't it inconceivable?
yw, gortmold ... just for the challenge of it
:D love your greetings kje, thanks! (ahem...scrabble turn...ahem)
??? british zuchinni is marrow????
lol bab and min, too right!
ok - later all...
tri, what grade?
ch5/14 word is ch 4/6 with and extra hook letter or that ch 4/6 word plus the snake letter gortmold.

Hello lbdawger! How are you doing? Welcome to grid!
LBD! FEATHER!!! bye kje HEY GORT!
hi feather
STIDDY!!!
feather -- wanna race? readysetgo I WIN!
Hi Min! i'm doing well, how about yourself?
hi lbd
ahhh, and she already knows most of the kids then. was thinking of the K to 1st transition, when they're not with their friends, but haven't had a chance to really get to know the others yet.
hey jmc!
lol stid! stinker.
Goodbye kje!I will see you tomorrow in the ch 4/6 log
how's it going stiddy?
I am doing well lbdawger. Been here off and on all day
bye kje
american zuccini is a marrow, british is a ch5, and in oz we call zucchini "the vegetable of the devil" because it's not meat
*big grin* the meeting is OVER -- but the migraine is a real stinker. THought I had it beat and it returned with a vengeance just before the matinee I was supposed to take the kids to (play, not movie)
I am off to take a shower. Will be back later to finish
later Min!
lol gort!
((((gentle hugs))))) hope it gets better soon stid
come back smelling sweet as a rose, Min
I like zuchs sometimes. But the big ones are hard to find enough things to do with them.
i see new scrabble games over on facebook. night all!
make stuffed zuccini
thanks feather. I think by the end of the week I will have it licked. It started when I was up on Mt. Rainier and had run out of my meds that I take immediately... so no hope for this one but to let it run its course.
Stuff them with sausage and bake top off with parm or any cheese...yum
I have now re-ordered my meds...
ch + estimated time of ***ival
* she said as she was getting ready to log out of the completed babble page
night, Feather
never heard an AMerican call zuchinni marrow -- only my brit neighbor who gaev me the recipe for stuffed marrow -- british fare
sweet dreams feather! *kisses boys*
make rattatouille
YAY DR???
My Mom makes awesome stuffed Zucc
zucchini bread
finished earlier and forgot to log out
throw them at speeding cars...
thanks again min and bab, finally got it, got distracted by all that vegetation
that rat stuff has eggplant and okra innit... *yuck face*
night dr. have great evening
YAY DR!!! *hands over choclit*
go gort go!
cheel
actually my fave besides ratatouille is a spanish zucchinni pancakes
nonono, i luvs zuccini
ground beef or turkey, bread crumbs, cheese...
go nell! (not quite though...)
cheel
OOPS_ PB for me ...
hey stid, sorry i missed you before, got carried away on the hot zucchini train
no okra in ratatouille but tomatoes and squash and eggplant
and lots and lots of garlic
actually, you can make rattatouille with any squash like veggies.
and onions
LOL garlic okay, eggplant deadly (literally) could I leave it out?
ty DR
you could fry it and serve it with ranch dresing
definitely, can leave it out.
yvw JMC
rat-a-too-ee what a funny name, wonder what it means really -- veggie stew?
I make zucchinni sauteed in butter with freshly grated nutmeg
as stid pointed out, why are we talking eggplant when we could be talking choclit?
*hands out lovely russian choclits from new friends*
zukes dipped in chocolate!
we also grill it on th ebbq with a little olive oil
give me fried eggplant and okra and green tomatoes with corn on the cob and slice cukes in vinegar
that sounds lovely, jmc. I think nutmeg is the spice of the angels.
ewwwwwwwwww
now we're talking lbd
yum chocolate
that might be nice, too DR -- I could try it on my new grill!
chocolate goes with everything...yes?
actually gort I like eggplant a lot more than I like chocolate
has anyone ever had a deep fried mars bar?
we do that when we have kabobs
wouldn't it melt, gort?
yes I also had a deep fried dill pickle
no Gort but I have had fried oreos
wow jmc! you're not kidding are you?!?
no to the deep fried candy bars.
apparently, not stid, i guess it's dipped in and out super fast, super hot
I want a deep fryer so I can make our family's famous "bug nuts"
what
brb checking pasta water
what's an oreo and did it change your life?
you dip in in batter and then the very hot frier and comes out fast and fried and gooey insides
i like fried ice cream
apologies! don't know how I got in there!
oreos are cookies!
It's like doughnuts, only instead of making round shapes you leave the dough sticky and pinch off spiky bits and drop it in the hot oil... mmmmm.
I am assuming bug nuts are not deep fried roaches (which I have also eaten)
I just like icecream. cold, melted, baked Alaska...
**gortmold rearranging neurons to comprehend how a cookie gets fried**
choclate cookie, cream filling
bug nuts and ice cream would make a good combo too!
there are deep fried oreos too!
cockroaches crackling over an open fire....
an oreo is two chocolate cookies with a white frosting sandwiched inbetween
we will fry anything in the south!!! lol
ruru, that's about the ONLY good use for roaches!
Stid- read back in the chog about an hour ago- whole big ice cream discussion
brb
not roasted ru. . . .fired!
now that's a truth, jmc
hm. okay DR, will do!
hello, nelleon, how's your onion?
who would hire a cockroach jm?
*fried
dam, bab brought it back round to veggies again! :)
lol ru I fess up to messing up
lol, gort
hi nelleon!
Hello stidmama, the little foutte maniac who flew out the big W is here
i've worked with some roaches and some co**s too
I am still trying to figure out drool duo BR what does that mean?
hey BR!
Hi BR.. sweet? pungent, bulbous?
drool duo?
really LBD wanna elaborate?
good question ru
Hello, stid
Hi JMC et al
hi nelleon, hi fouette
(((BR)))
yeah that piqued my curiosity too ru, but i think bab is being mysterious about it
aloha fouette -- how's your day going?
LBD was there stiff competition for the job?
great, nelleon ... quite a peeling
you should get a rise out of ru lbd
nah, ru i'll let you used your vivid imagination! lol
BR is always mysterious. As befits one of his immense wisdom and wit. *bowing and scraping before the greatness of BR*
you scallion babble!
good! how are the boys
I aim to peas!
ru, do you think drool duo is a cryptic clue for sn6 + pa4/5
they are well -- off at a play. I had to stay home with the migraine.
LOL nell!
you don't know beans about peas nell
actually, I think they just pulled in the driveway!
that could be .. good one gort
yep, there goes Lucky, sounding the alarm.

stidkid #2 says, "It was really good"
Sorry, lol

groan
I am glad to hear it -- had a bit of a scare going through the clouds though... do you know my father was a pilot?
nope..
you are very accomplished, nelleon
my dad worked for the airlines too
I would like to introduce you to my friends -- everybody, fouette is my new friend from the meeting I am recovering from, and fouette, these are all my lovely babble buddies!
hi foutte
welcome, fouette
hi y'all!
welcome, fouette
hey fou, nice to sort of meet you
Hello fouette
anyway, going through clouds seems scary, but the instruments the pilots use are really very accurate and tell the pilots how high up they are, where they are by the map, and what other planes might be near.
brb, double rainbow!
we went throgh a cloudbank!~
like the ice cream LB?
TY BR, but if only I could control my cursor!
I used to love watching the water droplets form on the windows and then get swept past by the air.
last le 5 pls?
:-D and survived! LOL
last LE 5 is like the 4 in front with a vowel at the end
jumped + a vowell
how is the cat, fouette? happy to see you?
is G goind good! L SAYS HI!!!
or Italian for leep
and did all the postcards get written?
oh thanks ru and stid, hit me with a haddock
he le5 ovah da fenca
my monitor does not mind that I at times am an excellent cursor
CAT IS HAPPY!
*waves at L*
LOL ruru!
AWESOME!
I bet -- cat hair everywhere?
giggle, ru
(having never seen babble swear)
nice ru
>*)-((((((-<< *thwack* just for you gort...
Apparently, I am in need of a monitor.
thanks stid, i needed that
no, we are lucky
Tom just walked in and says hello, fouette
gosh nell you are doing this without a monitor -- the mind boggles
rofl... blind-babbling... bewildering!
although some days it does feel that's what I am doing.
I am completely unsupervised.
Hope T, g, and M are good
I smear vasoline on my monitor so that I look younger
yes, Tom and the stidkids are well, thanks.
And the dog is happy I stayed home all day
jmc, that wont work
lol jmc!
are you sure fou?
I smear vaseline on my mirrors so I look younger. Or at least so I can't tell I am getting older.
* no comment *
I am certain
fouette, do you know I didn't get ANY pics with you at all? Was hoping to when we were on the mountain, and then everything blew up.
the mountain blew up? is this on the news?
Of course, when I stand next to ruru *demonstrates* I look like a fresh young flower...
*checking for volcanic action around the world*
we will try to send a pic
no, the whole day blew up. I had five vans full of people go up the mountain, and only four to take them back down again. Clogged fuel pump apparently.
* no comment **
thanks fouette, will appreciate it muchly.
it was HORRIBLE!
hope they brought hiking boots
so one van made two trips, and one person went back up in a private car. Of course it was one of the vans that held LOTS of people that broke down
they didn't
Is this Mount St Helens you talking about?
bummer :-(
No, THE Mountain. Rainier.
where people get lots from time to time
Next time we'll go to St. Helens which at least is a bit shorter.
rainier is cool!
quite literally -- there I was, wishing for a sunny day to show off our lovely mountain and we couldn't even see it because the clouds were halfway down.
It was raining in Paradise! *sigh*
*lost
o like it NEVER rains in Washington State
*grin* they also get "lots" apparently -- at times... certainly were plenty of people on the mountain Friday
my husband said that when he got homesick for Washington State he just stood in a shower fully dressed
it was cool even with clouds
a COLD shower, jmc?
it was lovely -- Gio took some excellent pics of things with the mist wrapping around them.
that was silly!
I never asked if it was cold
I assume so since I was never warm in Washington State
I think jmc's husband was a funny man -- wish I could have met him. He was a greener grad, too!
i feel like i'm living in seattle...it's been drizzly for several days now.
yes, you're about two days behind. It was pleasant here today, LBD, and dry yesterday.
did Gio get home well?
well then you would need some piercings and several tatoos now lbd
he made me laugh -- that is why I married him -- that and the fact he was my 13 marriage proposal
They're in New York at the moment, but I think they're having a good time.
oh good, need to scrub off some of the mold.
oh ruru! tattoos are optional!
I am getting good at this!

YAY GORT!!!!! see -- those Oz folks really know how to light the words!
fouette, you have to "go pro", I.e., pay the one-time fee
actually, fouette, if you would let me, I can arrange that for you.
you sound like Bernie Madoff minver
whoo hooo gort!!!!
It's a one-time 15 dollar fee I think
thank you all for getting me through that nastily slow home stretch

thank you jmc, right back at ya
Congratulations gortmold on fireworks! Good for you
I am a cork dork jilli
we will wait for now, thanks heaps but
I like screw tops
I think I meant like, a case of wine bottles... nice wines. The good stuff. Like Thunderbird and Almaden...
so ru, any further insights into bab's drool duo?
get with it, ruru, surely you of all people would prefer the screw
stid did you tell fou about the PB?
I like that term: cork dork.I'll have to remember that
*gasp* oh jill!
no, I don't think she knows fish or PB or babblet yet...
go jill!
see 8:45
fish means an easy word, simple like a tuna sandwich is simple
Okay I better go now...sheesh
can't drink alcahol yet :(
why, whatever are you gasping about, stid? *batting eyelids*
have to be health conscious .. ripple lite
Think that alot of people prefer to screw jillibus!LOL!
PB is short for penalty box, if you use a word that is in the grid, you have to sit in the PB until you remember which box to enter words in
annie green springs
ru don't let them drive you off!
and babblets are words not in common use that often appear in the grid like "inia" which is a hairy-nosed dolphin
I wanna screw!
hi all, and what's all this about alcohol??
LOL jmcnrick!
. . . tops
hands jmc a phillipshead and points to shelves that need putting up. Go for it!
:-P
Hi Book Doctor Gwen! How are you? Welcome to grid!
hi Gwen
I think we haven't had enough yet, Gwen --
hiyas min
that's unusual, stid
and hello Gwen! has your weekend gone well?
my beloved Gazela has a screw-top because it won't go funny like a cork does sometimes
i give up bab, i've wracked? racked? wract? my brains and i'm not getting the drool duo. clue pls?
i dunno, Book Docter
I need some wine (silly son drank all my bourbon while I was gone)
Oh! and Tom ordered five of the books I need for the Master's program so I can start reading them early
i hope silly son plans to replace the bourbon, jmc
hi Gwen
screw tops are actually preferred now which is SO funny since it used to be the other way

but son's pay day is tomorrow
oops. gwen. was saying adieu to stidkid #2 who is returning to the stage for the last show
bye fouette!
except at a restaurant when you bring a bottle instead of paying a "corkage" you pay a screwage
bye fou!
yay for payday!
*I mean bourbon
bye fouette! see you again soon!
night, fou. nice meeting you! come back tomorrow!
lol ru
*groan* ru
brb
bad clue, gortmold
yes, stid. bye!
LOL ruru!
what, no points for sneech? lol
ok, but what was it a bad clue for?
I kept wanting "leach"...
when I was in hospital a few years ago, off island, son and d-i-l stayed here for a few days and drank all the red wines from South Africa which I had saved to mature. Did they replace it? Well, of course they couldn't, but didn't even offer.
heck if I know
oh no! what a rotten thing to do.
I kept wanting "peach"
lol and double dam, bab
that is evil jill!
I keep wnating something to end in the sh
double dam : like grand coulee and the Dalles being right next to each other?
yes, I was sad.
at least my son offers if he doesn't always follow through
all this time, bab, have you been "corking" with my head? :)
must go and cook supper and watch 60 Minutes -- bfn
it is the ripple effect
enjoying the icon today, gort.
later jill
bye jill
I am alone in the house again. probably time to start that Hillerman novel so I can write up another book report for this class.
see you-all tomorrow!
*poof*
stid -- I emailed you...
gortmold dissoves into a puddle of giggles and confusion and leaves babble for the day to work for the greater good of humanity, or at least clean up that foul goop under the fridge
hillerman is a great guy and interesting writer
go gort go!
cheerio, you delightful, hilarious mob, see ya later

toodle pip
bye gort *waves*

Hi JenMO16! How are you doing? Welcome to the grid
thanks, min, i am just coming in so don't have much time to do the whole thing, and 2 more days to surgery
What are you having surgery for? Good luck with it.
i have a ganglion cyst on my right wrist and having it removed Tuesday morning.
Do you have to stay overnight or can you come home
i'll be spending the night at my parent's house, so it is outpatient surgery
That's good you got your parents close by to help out
ty Jen for a grid word!
JenMO16 is excused from the PB since she's about to have surgery. I excuse since I was excused last nite.
I second the pardon if someone can help clue the en6 for me, please?
I figure she was excused if she wasn't playing too. So I agree -- no PB
en6/21 is en plus ra 4/5 word Bugsaw and hello there
hmmm....what word did i clue???
Hi Min. I will be looking
cy4 Jen
Found it finally! Thanks Min
duh, sorry!!!
i didn't have that one yet!
I love your birthday info Min. Do you have a particular site you go to?
3 phantom words for me are leach, peach, and teach
yw
Hi Jen, Hi Bugsaw!
I get a list of birthdays from celebrity-link.com and I get the information about celebrities from imd.com.
hi ibd!!!
Last night I missed the flip since it took me awhile to type in all the info.Think I'll have Sean Penn tomorrow
so you'll be left handed typing after tuesday, huh. good luck with the surgery. It's pretty routine so I bet you'll be typing words in no time!
min, you type in all that info by HAND??? wow!
i do enjoy your celebrity birthday icons, min.
Hi lb and Jen too. Today is one of my grandson's birthday and it always fun to see who else shares the day.
min is a speed typist
happy birthday bugsaw offspring! how old is he?
Yes.Sometimes if I do "on this day in history" I'll copy and paste, but I don't do that too often.Don't include all of the information from imd.com so I type in what I want to include and leave out what I think is boring
Happy birthday to your grandson. He shares is b-day with/lots of celebrities today. I share my b-day with Mike Farrell, Bob Marley, Ronald Reagon, & Babe Ruth
help with the undoubtedly fishy ac pls
ac4/5 is what Tom Cruise does in his movies jmcnrick
well, i might have some tippy fingers to type with but it won't be very fast!
that is debatable min lol! fish me indeed
well you have 24 hours to type Jen so no rush
actually, i have 58 words in one hour
okay if I am that blind it is time to hit the bed!
wtg Jen!
61 left and will remain that way *waves*
Goodbye jmcnrick! I will see you tomorrow in the log!
bye jm!
night, jmc
goodnight jmc!
hi all... just popping in with a quick question
sorry - I am only half paying attention - mad men is on!!!
does anyone else here use a2z wordfinder?
Hello nrkii! How are you doing? Welcome to the puzzle
hi minveryork, I'm good... I finished earlier, but wanted to check in about a2z
hi everyone
No, I do not use a2z wordfinder or morewords.I just use Lickety's list and then clues from this chog nrkii.
a2z has been acting very hinkey on me the last week or so, and I wanted to see if anyone else had the same issue
Congratulations nrkii on your early fireworks!Hooray
Hi cjmomma! How are you doing? Welcome to the grid
hi cjmomma!
thank you Mini and nrkii I use that sometimes... yes it has been staying white for some time then I refresh and it'll come up eventually
Babble has been acting very hinkey w /me a little bit.
i use puzzlers.org for the most part
it's been randomly opening other pages on me cjmomma, and I think it's trying to give me a virus
c's concussed, thank goodness!
ohhhh it hasn't done that to me
congrats trif...still stuck on s's here
There has been a lag in the chog or sometimes it can not enter the word. Can be very frustrating at times
I'm scared to open it now, but I haven't found a good replacement
try puzzlers.org nrkii.
clue for first ec 6 pleeeeez?
hmmm, I haven't had any issues with babble lately min
thanks lbd
That happens to me alot with websites. I just close it
ec + difficult Trif
what do you use for antivirus
ec + not soft
thank you ladies!
That ec 6/27 word is ec plus the ha 4/6 word Trifioso
Norton, as of a few months ago when I had my computer cleaned and fixed
I use AVG and spybot and havn't had that problem...
the guy at PC Doctor recommended I go with Norton
I don't like Norton, doesn't catch all the nasties out there. I use McAfee.
they are both great and free! :)
I used to use McAfee, but I got majorly infected
Norton wasn't free for me. I paid $50.00 for it I think
none of them are perfect, I guess ... :(
both norton and mcafee slowed computer down and still things got through
okay, I'm gonna run... gotta go do something about my 10 mosquito bites that are driving me insane
so my comp friend turned me onto AVG free and it's great
have a good night all!
e's ended!
I think mcafee is free for aol users.I had it for awhile
I use AVG and sybot and it always says my machine is clean, but Babble has not been working well for me either. It is not consistant
I haven't had problems with McAfee at all. Norton crashed me big time and had to start from scratch including getting a new windows program.
f's finished!
night nrk
Goodbye nrkii! I will see you tomorrow in the ch 4/6.
night nrkii. hope you like puzzlers.
ok back into the grid...have 11 left
alas, i see it's witching hour for me too. see you all tomorrow! good luck with the grid.
Goodbye lbdawger! I will see you tomorrow in the log!
night ibd..thank you gonna need it
Hi all. Tyry AVG or Bitdefender (but put it into gaming mode so it doesn't slow you pc down) + CC Cleaner & Spybot.
Min's and excellent cluer, cj! she'll get you through!
I can help you with clues cjmomma. I have three left.

Thanks lbdawger!
missing the sc6/27 sure its a fish
anyone clue the 8?????
Hi
Nope, I'm here until the flip or until I get tired Jacula
hi herin and mkg
mkg - the ea8 is the plural of 'The Importance of Being Ea7'.
Good Min.x
Hi Herin.
The sc 6/27 word is sc plus anagram of aide cjmomma
Hi herinfernallady! How are you? Welcome to the grid
waves hello. I seem to be having FB chat issues :(
ty got it jac.
hi cj
That ea 8/40 word is plural of the ea 7/28 word mkg.
Yiddish word, I believe, cjm. To lug or the drag.
y/w mkg.
Jac can you please message me on FB to see if you can wake it up for me please
I can't chat on FB on hubby's laptop, but can on mine
need last n word: have ne 4 4s
Herin - I'll have to sign backin there. Hang on a min...
It seems to have a bit screwy today. And I have no idea why
Facebook has been iffy ever since it got hacked into
An ne5/10 word is plural of the ne 4/4 bird home mkg
plural bird homes, mkg? ne5.10 (not the last ne though.)
I have no idea why but there is a virus going about
BRB - just off to FB for a min.
I run a scan everynight...take no chances if I can help it
ty jac. so obvious. sorry
Jac I think its broken
i have es 7 and ea 7. what others are there please?
Jac brb i need to reload this silly thing
Herin - I've signed in and live messaged you. Do you need the other sort of message, e-mail type one?
also missing one y word, yc i think. clues please?
A ca7/32 is plural of the ca 6/21 word and ch 7/36 is plural of the ch6/24 word. ch7/40 is plural of ch 6/26
ec7, mkg.
many plurals in this gris
grid*
2 es7/36, mkg.
That yc 6/30 word is yc plus that le4/5 (jumped) mkg
yc + 'jumped' without the 'a'.
ty got the ec 7. also got ca 7.
jumped? dont see it...jumped.......hmmmmmmm
yc word is Middle English variant of a word for to name or call.
ec7/40 word is plural of the ec 6/27 word. ha7/32 is ha + hook letter plus allows or permits. sc 7/32 is red
ok ty got it.
Well done, mkg.
the last sh5 please...
Well Jac I throw my hands in the air about this one. The chat is having the pop out option only and I don't want
The sh 5/14 word is s plus anagram of aide cjmomma.

ha word not working.
cjm - Yiddish word. I clued it earlier when you asked.

May I please have a clue for es6-24? Thanks
thought*
Herin - no idea what you mean and I don't know wht Google Chrome is either.
l's landed!
I've logged out of FB again now, Herin.
Google chrome is a browser like Mozilla. Hi Trifs
The es6/24 word is es plus ch 4/6 word gapeach1066
es + to burn the food, gapeach.
I'd stick with Firefox if I were you, Herin.
Thanks, Min and Jacula.
ok it's both...great
sorry brain going dead here
any other clues for ha 7?
Jac Google is awesome
praying the t's are nicer to me...lol
Brain going dead at 45, cjm? Wait until you're 52 like me. LOL!
p's punished! I am on a roll, eh?
wtg trif...":)
Loves trifs
On a roll like sausage, onions and ketchup, Trif? *grins*
min, are you here? need more help with ha 7. ha, hook and to allow? wont take it ...
ha7/32 is a variation of a sandwich slice made from offal - it's usually called ha****.
no, but sounds awfully tasty jac!
(The usual name is ha* (possesses) + what an apartment is when it's rented out.)
maybe not with onions, tho - don't love them!
Jac up until today no dramas. Today being a giant poo head
what? sandwhich slice what is offal?
Maybe you need to clean our cache, Herin?
And, as Dame Edna often said, 'I mean that in the nicest possible way!' LOL
lol Jac
Oh, and I meant your cache not our cache. LOL. Still haven't cleaned this filthy keyboard.
cache? um
nothing is working with dictionary jac.
mkg - offal is the heart, lungs, liver etc from an animal.
dict. wont take any ha words i put in. maybe hook letter is not what i think. i think it is before the letter s. am i correct? if so what is wrong???????
Ab ha 7/32 word is the heart, liver, etc., of a hog or other animal used for food. Put definition in reverse dictionary. It is number two with a hook letter mkg.
organs eh? so what are these called???????
Try this, mkg - ha* + French masculine +consonant that makes the ha* word a deer hind.
An ha 7/32 word is the heart, liver, etc., of a hog or other animal used for food. Put definition in reverse dictionary. It is number two with a hook letter mkg.
wow, i started 2 hours ago and have 100 words, woohoo!
go jen! excellent rate of return!
yeah, really! and with a ganglion cyst in my wrist!
I started over ten hours ago and I am STILL not done
mkg - try another name for deers, ha*t* + to rent, or sub***
i put in organs of animals eaten and no luck.
well, i am not DONE, min
haetalet is not in there. darn i am getting more confused.
mkg, put my WHOLE definition in reverse dictionary.
haruspex is what i see.
kidney and venison is in there.
ignore the definition and try my clue, mkg
Bug - I've said all of that already in slightly different form. I hope mkg gets your clue.
**fireworks** yah!!!
Thank yuo Jac. I have taken your suggestion and gon back to Mozilla :(
saw haslet. but wont take it when i put ha and hook and then the last three letters. dict says no.
Good choice, Herin.
ha 7/32 is same first 3 letters as previous word plus anagram of freezing rain minus a vowel mkg.
thank you for your clues...didn't think I'd finish this one~
well done cjmomma
dear is a hart? or what??????????
Pain in the ass really because of the way i have this set out
Congratulations cjmomma on your fireworks! Hooray
yes, but you need more than one for the first part of the word, You have the ending
mkg - the ha*l** word is right. Now add the letter for the start of a wedding band or a circle.
harlet not in dict!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is what is being clued over and over and over! sorry all, retireing.
maybe I should just hit the vodka bottle
Well done cjm.
So add a hook letter in the word you saw for #2 mkg.
ok have to excuse myself for a few for a break
Goodbye cjmomma! I will see you tomorrow in the log
I wouldn't do that, Herin! Well I (underlined) wouldn't because I'm allergic to voddie.
ok good luck and have fun!!!!
got it. finally. so is a hook letter an "s"? if not then all the clues left that out. well got it now. ty ty all cluers.
gnight
Not alergic to vodka, but doesn't sit well in my tummy
3 words left to go! wahooooo
hook letter = r
Goodbye mkg! I will see you tomorrow in this ch 4/6!
I didn't leave it out, mkg - I told you ha* (possesses) + what an apartmnt is when it's rented.
Bye Min. Thanks for the help
'Nigh mkg.
Keep on with it, Trif.
Min - it doesn't sit in mine or my daughter's stomach at all; even a sip maks us vomit.
I was reprimanded earlier for using hook letter since everyone knows what a hook letter is&clue was easy
I am not leaving Bugsaw.I was saying goodbye to mkg
Go Trifioso go!
I've had just three words left since 8:50 this evening
Ok it was an expression this internet is giving me the irrates
Oh sorry, I am not quite paying attention here because there is work going on with bathroom renovations and I need to know when there will be a toilet again.
Min - I'm not a fan of virtually spelling words out either but sometimes it is warranted.
So have you been using mother nature as your toilet?
FOr sure. When I am blind to a word you have to spell it out in finger spelling for me to get it. lol
Not quite. It is balanced carefully over the hole and then you have to flush it by dumping a bucket of water into it. We only have one bathroom and this is NOT working for me. The men don't seem to care!
Bugsaw - when my bathroom (only one at the time) was being renovated along with a house extension, I had to use a bucket in the greenhouse up the top of the garden. (It has bubblewrap coating the inside of the windows, so no one could see me.)
FIREWORKS!!! woot woot
Yay Trif!
Well done, Trif.
Congratulations Trifioso on fireworks!Hooray for you
I was threatened with that Jac but I would rather wait for the times when the pot is positioned over the hole for a while.
Bug - men don't care if no.1 or no.2. They can ;go' anywhere. We ladies don't feel quite the same.
The other problem with a bucket and no toilet is, where do you get rid of it? I am not driving around town with a smelly bucket in the backseat looking for an outhouse!!!
I agree completely Jac. Men have no clue when it comes to this stuff. He took the tub and the toilet out first!
Bug - I COULD still use the loo in the bathroom, but the side was open to the street, until I put old sh5/12's up there with drawing pins, AND the team of 6 or 7 builders were standing down on the open floor below waiting for me to finish.
*blush*
Oh gross! An audience is too much!!
Tree
Indeed it is, Bug. Incidentally, I see you have guinea pigs like I do. One of mine down died last week so down to 4 now.
No trees today, Herin.
How sad Jac. They can be the best therapy for a sad soul.
Sorry about that. At least you still got four more still.
Bug - if your click on my profile and look at my flickr pics you can see Margaret (the gp who died)'s story.
any clues on al 4,4?
No use one it is better
al 4/4 is al plus double vowels Sudo-Kid and hello there
Hi :D thanks so much :D
yw
Min - yep! 4 guinea pigs, a pigeon murdering cat (he's brought 3 squabs home in past 2 days) and a teenaged step daughter, plus a 25-yr-old son still at home, and a 22-yr-old daughter who's in her own home not far away now, but still needs my help re cooking or sewing or how to get mysterious stains out of clothes.
how bout al 4,7?
Poor Margaret. She had a long year but she was a beauty wasn't she?
PLUS your beloved Jac!How can you forget about him
Aww Poor Margaret. Also the cat maybe trying to feed you
May I please
al 4/7 is friendly tv alien with extra letter near end.
Bug - she was rather lovely. Very vociferous though - when I trimmed her long hair to get the pee-laden sawdust balls out of it, or even just brushed or combed it, she screamed the place down. You'd think ever hair had a nerve ending it.
Well, I will start this over...May I please have a clue for ce5-12 the 1st? Thanks
The ce 5/12 sounds like what coins are gapeach1066
ce5/12: I burn ince*** to make the room smell better.
Thanks so much, Min.
Min - I've not forgotten Beloved, but, if you read my blog (you are an invited member there I think?) you'll se I'm playing Nazareth's 1973 hit Bad Bad Bpy for him right now, re his little bit of cheating when he did his fig leaf photo.
yw
Wow! It only took my monkeys 3 hours to find a word
I thought he was 'swinging low' when I edited with a yellow pen... he'd taken the ripe fig (the onlyfig on the tree this year, in fact) and hung it below his natural accoutrements. Fooledme on the photo, which is why I censored it.
hello 63 to go
ep5-14 please....thanks
Jac we used to give our long hairs a bath. They loved it much more than I ever imagined they would and it was much easier to soak the crud out than brush it out. Margaret reminds me of me when I was little and my mother tried to braid my hair. It was horrific
Hi Harp.
Hi harpjane! How are you doing? Welcome to the grid
That ep5/14 word is e plus pa 4/6 word gapeach1066
gapeach - e + truce.
Thanks much, Jacula.
Jac your beloved sounds like quite the character! I truly laffed out loud
I have one smooth-coated Abysinnian and 3 rough-coated left now, Bug.
Bug - he makes me truly LOL at leat once a day, which is partly why I love him so much. As I said in my blog.
sc5-14 the 2nd please...Thanks
well, i am going to have to call it quits with 115 words in 2 and a half hours! Pretty easy!
There is nothing better than laughter to cure what ails you, as my Granny would say.
I am done, but I did not get any fireworks.Got gyped
Goodby JenMO16! I will see you tomorrow in the chog
nighty, night!
Good job Jen. I must go too but I finally got fireworks
Min - *~*~*~*~*~*~@!
Good for you Bugsaw.
sc 5/14: I do sc*** booking as a hobby gapeach1066.
Will that do, the old-fashioned way before the fireworks.
yeah, my last one before surgery, min!
Congratulations Bugsaw on fireworks! Good for you!
Thank you for your fireworks Jacula! Very kind of U!
Thanks for the company everyone. See you again in an hour.... :)
Thanks once again, Min.
Oh yes! Good luck with your surgery JenMO16 & bye!
Jen - hope the surgery goes well. Back in the 60s, my Mum used to get the ganglions but had to wait or them to be 'ripe'. When they got big enough, she used to bash them on th greenhouse door frame.
yw
Good luch on the surgery, Jen. Sending good vibes to you.
luck. sorry.]
Goodbye Bugsaw! I'll see you later on at the fliparoo!
lol jacula, i've tried banging, but it is too hard!
thanks gapeach
ha7?
ha 7/32 is same 3 letters as previous word plus allows
se4-4 the 2nd please.
Thanks
yw
That se 4/4 word is an le 4/4 backward gapeach1066
Jen - then it's not 'ripe'. Once it's soft, sterilise a pin and let the fluid out.
bah somone do my assignment for me
Thanks, Min. I'm down to two.
Go gapeach1066 go!
The size of the pin depends on the consistency of the content of the cy4. If it's clear liquid, a normal dressmaking pin will do. If it's the contistency of cream cheese, a larger egress point needs to be made, but must be sterile. The cy4 sac will still be ther to fill up again if agravated though.
te5-10 the 3rd please...I'm exhausted. Thanks
Wrong...its te5-10 the 4th......sorry
te 5/10 is te plus ***very was abolished long ago gape
te + first 3 letters of a black person kidnapped , taken away and made to serve.
OMG, thanks, Min and Jacula. I couldn't have made it without y'all. Sweet dreams.
There's a modern equivalent now from Eastern Europe, but it's either men and women forced to work for less than the minimum wage or women and young girls forced to prositute themselves.
Well done gapeach.
Congratulations gapeach1066 on fireworks! Hooray!
Goodbye gapeach1066!I will see you tomorrow maybe
Oh, and may I just add that it's normally a 'fellow countryman' or their own that does that to them.
*of their own.
Excuse my cynicism, but having a bro-in-law (even and ex) who is a policeman opens my eyes at times.
Jacula, I've been trying to bring up your profile but have not had success. Think it's my computer...will keep trying.
gap - trying clearing your cache.
Please tell me how to do that, Jacula.
What browser are you using, gapeach? Firefox or IE?
I think it is still Mozilla-Firefox.
Okay - click on tools to your top left.
Then click on Clear Private Data - 8th down on list.
Then tick browsing history, cache and authenticated sessions.
Do you also have cc cleaner on your pc?
Jacula, I will have to let go of this page to do that. Let me try and I will come back here.
Don't click on cookies unless you;ve never done it before and tend to ask websites to 'remember you'.
Click on cookies too, then.
And then sign back into Babble.
I will wait, gapeach.
Using Namoroka 3.6a 1
Hi BR. Don't know that one.
Firefox alpha
OOh! My son nver told me about that version, BR.
Just out last week .. seems faster
Mind you, he might have justput me on it without me knowing. He's like that at times.
Makes me look like a fool if I'm not informed though.:(
No, I don't think I'm on that yet.
and I am done with this stinky grid
Bye lovelys
Jacula, I am wofully ignorant here. I went there, or so I thought, but was unable to find the things you told me to go to.....I will keep trying to bring up your profile as before....sometimes it let's me and sometimes it doesn't...i think it is PMSing. Thanks for the help
Well done Herin.

Well done, Harp.
congrats, harpjane
Congratulations harpjane on fireworks! Hooray for U
BR - you're more likely to be around for gapeach than I am in the near future, given that it's 5.23am here in UK. I'll leave her in your capable hands.
sleep well, Jacula
Will do, BR! Thanks.x
thanks min
Oh, Jacula, I was able to see your great pictures. They
really are adorable.
good for you, gapeach
Goodbye Jacula! I will see you tomorrow in the chog!
My son-in-law does photography as a hobby and I think it will eventually become a business. His website is: smflynn.com and the other is: flickr.com/photos/smflynn. He has some beautiful pictures and does quite well. They had a show last weekend in Mystic, CT. Then next will be in NYC in October. Thought y'all might like to see what he has done.
When you get on his first website go the Travel: Greece and you will see some great stuff, but look for one with a really odd green goard. That goard graced out table until it was no longer a great conversation piece but just really need to go in the trash can. Oh, well.
help please. I am missing one of the last pa4/5 words. Right before the pa4/7 Thanks.
Didn't mean to take over on the chat box.

YAY west?
