I think he's had a small stroke, is having trouble walking, intermittently too hot and too cold, pressure is up and down, voice is different, mouth looks funny, and his doctor, who came on Tuesday said that it didn't look like anything serious!

I asked if it was because they found the topic really interesting, and he answered "God no! We just wanted to be able to enter "HAWT dam!" I laughed for about five minutes

Yes, One thing I like about this home is that it has things like a stand alone shower, no tub to climb into, and a garden tub...so when I get very old...and can not climb, I will be able to clean myself.

Thanks for asking. The next humorous speech contest isn't until the Fall. This Spring, however, is the big International Speech Contest. That's when most Toastmasters come out of the woodworks and present their serious/inspirational speeches. There are 30,000 contestants. I'll give it a shot, although it will be a challenge. It's a lot easier for me to write humor than something serious. It'll be a learning experience for me.
I think that 'cute' means something different in UK to what it means in USA. I had a couple of USA people telling me your last speech was 'cute' after I put it up. I took great exception to that, since 'cute' in UK is kind of dismissive and 'little womanish'.
"Cute" is a compliment here, although some men don't like to be called "cute." That's really interesting. I'll be sure to avoid that word when talking to folks in the UK!

Well, don't have another child within 3 years of the first, or your body might be doomed like mine was. Seriously, I probably could have sorted it out, but divorce came etc.
My kids are son, born 1984 - 29 this year, I think? And daughter born 1987.
My youngest son is turning 3 next month, but I don't plan on getting pregnant any time soon... would be a bit stressful being single and all!
Also got a stepdaughter who was 16 in Dec. 2010.
It must be wonderful to see your children grow up into adults. I wonder what mine will be like when they're older.

I'm only here through sleep pattern problems. The menopause brought me either not able to sleep, too tired to bother to do anything, or going to bed a a normal time but waking up on the hour, every hour, with a hot flush.
