red, I don't function a whole lot. Acupuncture really helps the pain though! Have you tried that?
No I have not tried accupuncture. the pain is fairly low on the pain scale. but it is really important for me to be able to walk and run, and the way the hip is shaped...I am headed for problems.

I tried to plan for that before I let my kids drive. I figured out how much more it would cost me to insure it if they had an accident and then had the boy hand over that amount of money for me to save in the bank. If my rates went up, I was covered. If not, they got the money back.

Fortunately,I did not get laid off, but 18 others were in my building.It did not matter if you have tenure or not. It went by a senority list. Teachers who've been teaching for 9-10 years STILL got laid off. It's so sad!
Oh, I completely understand. Last year I lost my job and I had 20 years... But, if you weren't laid off, may I ask why are you looking for jobs?

Because of budget cuts, there is no summer school. I have always taught summer school, but not this year.
I'm hoping somehow they will find some money for the schools, we had a very bad year here in NJ but things are looking much better for next year

my pilates class today was done to Neil Young, harvest moon... very mellow and fun
After finding all the words with ea 4/4, I finished the grid so here is my story of clues.My school district is facing a huge budget gap, er 4/6, 700+ teachers got laid off in my ar 4/4. They are go 4/6, just like that! The news of the layoffs just made me want to he4/5. Other employees in the district were let go also, but they ho4/5ed in on the teachers.My superintendent, whose name is Ro 5/14, is my no7/32.Superintendent is also warning us to be4/8 of more layoffs next year It'll be difficult for teachers who got laid off to find a job that pays more than minimum wa 4/10. No 4/4 of the parents seem to care about these layoffs either. Fortunately, I was not a go 5/14. I feel ho 5/12ed to still have my job. Aa5/16! Hubby is ea5/14 to use the computer. I think that my husband wants to en 6/30 in some Farmville activities. Better let him use laptop before he goes into a ra4/6. I put story in my profile for those who may need to re5/10 it again. I'm going to go do something el4/4 like listen to my Ae4/4smith CD.I will be back later to help out with clues if needed

i interviewed a guy once when I managed Black & Decker retail outlet... I asked about some experiences and got him to tell me that he had unleashed some foul language at the McD's customer that had taken out the burger patty and threw it at him....
He said that happened sometimes when he didn't take his meds.. "how often do you not take your meds?" "oh once in a blue moon"... "and just what do you mean by once in a blue moon?? twice a year? Once a year???" "oh... maybe every two weeks"
does he not understand that "once in a blue moon" cannot, by definition, be that frequently?
i'm gonna guess you didn't hire him?

well, a blue moon is the second full moon in a month. so you cannot possibly have them any more often than 8 weeks apart... and that theoretical rate is way more frequent than reality. even setting aside the part where you don't want to hire somoene so unstable and irresponsible as to forget his "meds" every couple weeks, i wouldn't be able to work sanely with someone who translated "once in a blue moon" to mean "every couple weeks". I'd be homicidal by the end of the first week.
best interview ever: after a sentence or two... "Just so you know... we DO require a drug test by an independent company".."uh.. I probably won't pass that... but it's just some recreational weed.. I don't get high at work or anything.. so that's ok right?" "sorry. No.. But thank you SO much for being up front and saving us AND yourself some time"

i like the resumes,to be short direct and list experience without filling the thing full of buzz words like "self-starter" "motivated individual" or 'customer oriented"...do not blow smoke up my butt. 1/4 of your interview is the resume,the rest is "SHOW ME"
i don't think you can have an la7, unless i'm missing something... the l isn't next to the a...

heh. i like resumes, crossy, because i am an evil evil person. i enjoy proofreading them. it always astounds me how few people seem to think it's important to actually spell correctly in a resume.
le7 is a straw hat or a white fowl, think of cartoon character Fogh/4 L7/40.
i organize my interviews based at least in part on which resumes have the fewest errors.

The worst roosters are bantams.

Little roosters are like little men; always trying to prove themselves. Big roosters, like big men, don't have to to.
It doesn't seem to work the same way with females. Big females often have less self-confidence than small ones.
I'm talking height rather than width, but it can work that way, too.
i've heard that a lot, jac, but haven't found it to hold up in actuality. i know many large men who are overbearing, insecure, or just plain asses, and many short/slender men who are quiet and laid back. in about equal proportions to the opposites.
