I have had this darn cough for several weeks... my hubby has had the sinus infection, the wee son a cough too. just the virus and the rain. It will all go away soon. the 125 recently in prescriptions will help too.

Yes, actually already seeing some relief. Tried evey thing else, neo citran, nyquils, etc... homeopath too. But after a few weeks I just gave in and we all went to Dr. All had something a little differnt though.
Homeopathiid "medicine" is quackery.
The spring is very much like last year only more wet. I just seen on TV that the town of Slave Lake is on fire.. from an out of control wild fire.
I heard that on the news as I was driving to the ferry
The pictures are quite stunning.... over 100 building so far and it is out of control. I can not imagine.
I haven't had the TV on -- was catching the 9:35 pm ferry to Long Harbour and came to Babble almost as soon as I got home.
It is always good to get home and rest in doing something familiar.

Hmm... we spent over 3 months last year in Parksville. going for one week at the end of this month. Looking forward to the ocean peace
Family is why we came back to MR. No family or family doctors over there and we need family support.
I hear Parksville is very nice too -- we looked at it when we were contemplating a move here from the Montreal area but hubby's brother was on Salt Spring, plus other friends, so...but now they've all left and hubby never made it.
oh my.. good to know that you are settled and happy there though.
WE looked at MR too but there wasn't anything available that suited us then.
it really is nice to pick and choose where you want to live. We are happy with our decision. But if most of the family were to move to Parksville because they like it oo... we would likely follow.
Well the brother and friends are now in Victoria -- and one is in Parksville!

I have been having protein shakes and eating small amounts of dinner that I have made... but I only eat once a day. I need to get 'sustigen' (spelling?) to help maintain my strength

much too much for that short a time. wed afternoon, smithsonian, then vietnam, wwII and some other war memorial. dinner at reagan place.. then lincoln, jeff, roosevelt. thursday was supposed to be white house, arlington, capitol, etc. some dinner theater that nite, and then next morning to hershey park, then back home
DC is a great trip for kids. Lots of interesting things to see. My husband was from Canada and he was like a kid when he went downtown.
