12:18 pini
oops...sorry...missed it...thx!
nbt ;)
wtg pini !!
now bedtime...furniture is being returned tomorrow...I might just live through this after all ;)
it's going to be beautiful
so far so good ;)
not that you would have done it so quickly
* giggle * good point!
I know you had a flood..didn't hear how you discovered it
I have 2 days to put it back together before leaving friday for a camping trip through Sunday, then back to work on Monday...crossing fingers I don't wear myself out too much!
nbs
Oh, the hose on the washer broke, west...
well done, flosey ;)
it will still be there when you get back..don't over do it
Yes, I knew that..just wondered what you said when you saw it
I'm assuming you came home from work and found the mess
ty Pini
Oh...when i got home from work, I saw water running out from under both my garage doors down the driveway...
oh my. I would have kept going
...went inside, sloshing through the kitchen, and opened the garage door; walked into Old Faithful!
ah, that was the last straw with my washer Pini, bit of water, not flood, but that was enough
oh Pini, how horrible
happy late flip all :)
hi mrp
hi mrp
but the new floors were put in yesterday, so that's done...
hi mrp
hope the insurance covered it all
hi girls! :)) **hugs**
...tomorrow, they put my fridge back in the kitchen and the furniture comes back from the storage unit (the "pod" in my driveway)
thankfully it is, flosey!
those pods are great
pini! did you have a flood?
my husband always tells me not to run the dw when we go out..but I do
...and as a result of concern raised when i compared the flooring sample to online samples, I've corrected the mfr's samples that are displayed by their retailers
I don't run anything when we're out
I did, mrp...washer hose broke, flooded the kitchen and dining room (and the garage)
nbt, but a long ways from nbs
wtg nan !!
ditto flosey... i don't run anything if I am out...
I've learned to turn the washer spigots off when not in use...this had better not happen again!
so sorry it did that!! nasty washer!! naughty washer...!
well done, nan ;)
good you got the prices fixed pini
still need a 7 and the 9
not only the price, west, but the mfr has to correct the samples held by the retailers...something like 400 of them!
is a significant undertaking to fix up... better to turn them off... yes pini!
me, too, nan ;)
do you want them nan?
diz said there's a br9 tho...haven't found it
I'm glad you called them on it pini
it's a strange word, for me anyway
yes -- I saw that pini -- haven't found it either.
the good thing that came out of it is that I've got the laminate floors I've wanted for years
call letters for a 7, please flosey?
br9 is an extention of the br4... little one in french??
tr7/28
bl7 ??
ey 7
thanks mrp, got it
un + re5 for a un7
un + tr5 for a un7
thx, west...me, too...I provided my floor rep with paperwork to show my concern in the cross listings; he ordered the Mt. Vernon, but when it arrived it was the "darker" version; the online sample of the Mt Vernon was shown as the "lighter" of the two...he sent it back and had them overnight the right one...so now I have "Shaker Cherry" (the RIGHT color) and really like it :)
br7 sounds like a very long preparing desert
dessert even!
this just isn't an easy grid! but enjoyable so far
we have dark wood in our kitchen and tv room love it too
If my ceilings were taller I might have gone with the dark, but went with the lighter...the baseboard really brings out the darker grain, yet the lightness works great in the rooms ;)
i luv cedar
cedar smells good ;)
in non-lethal doses, of course! lOL
our ceilings are over 15 metres!
15 meters...ho4 cow!!! Mine are all of 8 feet
I assume you mean creme brulee, but don't see it!
in places anyway... kitchen ceiling is about 9 metres
that's what I was thinking, too, nan...but still not getting it either
I thought that too, nan
indeed nan... alt spelling with high value letter
the br9 uses the V?
got the 9 finally
no pini
its a br4 and 9 combo
no, it uses usual letters
sorry...you said high til4...the V is the highest
if you have the br4 before it, you just add the 'little' french to it
hi tile in the br7
little in french is petit imho
sorry jilli
smurf and smurfette
just popping in to say pb mrp!
LOL
or "un peu" is "a little" so I'm megaconfused
oops! ti4! *off to the pb*
the ending is feminine, not diminutive...
<-- still stumped...may have to leave for tomorrow...need to get some sleep in prep for another fun filled day...
thanks m9 luv ya!
I see what you men, mrp
ah, sorry rast... dumbo aussie forgot
I mean mean
have fun pini and just enjoy yourself..you deserve it
on ya pini!!
you not mean!!
got the 9 -- still looking for a 7
night all ... happy hunting !
think of a horse drawn carriage that begins with ca -- br 9 is the ending with the french fem. suffix
g'night Pini
I need the 8..just stats please
anyway, "brulette" is "not found in the dictionary"
but br4 and the ending of 5 letters is!
ho 8
thanks diz
nbt, nbs and 1/2way
wtg m9
got it..was going the wrong way
nbs
Well, I give up -- obviously don't have the right br4 or something
gj m
wtg west
wtg west -- and hi
you have the right start jilli
wtg m9

morning all...
hi fish
jill - did you see my 12:44 clue?
hi ish
jilli, br9 is like the french of billiant
thanks m and wtg to you too chat's moving fast
yes I did, nan, and thanks but what I tried didn't work.
and I meant hi fish
french horse drawn carriage? -- double last consonant and add an e
(drop the ca at the beginning)
my clue is for the br 7 no wonder jilli is confused
so is mine, west
now I'm more confused lol
but I got a 7
cabr*****te
ah, gotcha, nan, thanks!
still looking for a 7
nan's clue gave me the br9
start with dessert end with almost come to a stop ( first 3 )
give way in England
we got such a kick out of that when we were there
a dessert? beginning with?
and got that too, west -- ty. (We use that word here for "give right of way")
good jilli
thanks jilli, that gave it to me
nan starts with creme br
my husband's favorite
nan, beginning with "creme br****"
this is the 7?
yes, one of them
br 7/48
got it -- ty jill and west
nbs -- finally! and half way as well :)
wtg nan !! now I want some
I just realized I've been lying all along..I don't have nbt
ru 6 wasn't the lone r I needed
or else there is another
The Etymological Dictionary of the Scottish Language says that br7 means "A quarrel, contention, commotion, storm." The ? here gave no definition, so I went to Google. Grrr.
there was...now nbt
yes, westy, it is ru6, more of a king/queen???
it is an ru6 i just found it west
stats for the lone L?

btw, could i please have a group hug? spent over 2 hours in the dentist's chair yesterday, having retained roots removed.
oh nasty granny, hugs
ewww, granny! (((hug)))
working on the videos west -- will post them when done
swill a nice single malt around the mouth Gran
big hug rose..you're so brave
thanks nan I'll bet they're awesome
it seems my original dentist didn't do the job fully....good thing out of ot all, have just had my first 24 hours without running a temperature for nearly 2 years.
Scottish remedy...does nothing for the pain, just gets you nicely drunk!
I guess I'd better find a "Western" icon. I spent too much time at jigidi...
sounds good fish lol
my goodness, granny! So fish -- did you recognise the br7 word I struggle with and found the def for?
himself and i came to the same conclusion,,,could my fevers be caused by something dental, went to a new dentist, and th5 th4 were, on the x-ray
oh rose that's awful so glad you got it fixed
those low grade fevers are the pits
everything crossed he4, westy, just so glad to actually feel cold
so good riddance to the first dentist, granny -- can you calim something from him/her?
*claim
not even going to try, jilli, but am spreading the word around, let's see how his rep stands up to it.
I know the word, just not seen it spelled that way before - it took my a while to get it
although tbh...I don't think I've ever seen it written down before!
brb, time for another hot salt mouth rinse...yuk, yuk, yuk, *spit, spit*
I'm telling you Gran, whisky...it has the same antiseptic effect and no need to spit!
lol, fish....got a spare one over there?
going to find something to eat..bbs
Icon changed, with writeup
Jillibus, I am seldom on when you are, finally getting a chance to tell you how much I enjoy your iconography
oh good, joansie -- sometimes I wonder if I'm wasting my time. Thanks for the boost!
there are others out there too who do the icons...kudos to all
And your recipe is making me drool! I'm copying it!
it is simple and delish
and it has been there for e plus years...need a change ty

off to explore Santiago de Campostela with the other accompanying people ciao (babblet)
bye joanie (is that the camino?)
it is indeed
I have a friend who has done it 3 times

phantom: toilet
I just saw that too, ruru (and hi)
hi jilli
I was flushed with pride finding it oo
oh piss off, lol!

xx ru

back again
oh, I missed jilli
s new icon
I ran jilli off and she left the potty..er party
darn, happens so often when I hit apostrophe
oh oh
btw, ru, have you any experience with duck terrine?
some.. what do you need to know
lol, in general, how to make it
is it a long drawn out procedure?
oh.. I can dig up a recipe for you.. yes.. it is a lot of work.. lots of blending in the cuisinart
ok, when you might have a minute, I'd love to have it
if you put it in your bio, I'll check
others might be interested
I do one with truffles if you can get those
think my daughter can get those in Vancouver
i'll put it in tomorrow... I make two
super, and thanks so much
actually my daughter was asking me for recipe and I've never made it
but we can get muskovee(?) duck here on the island, would you use that?
its great with brioche toast slices and cheeses
super, she's been trying out many new breads
the only problem with Muscovey (sp?) duck is that it can be a bit tough.. but not in a terrine I'll bet
ah, because it is wild I suppose?
I made Foie Gras a month ago with a huckleberry/sauterne sauce and brioche toast
sounds great
not sure flosey.. I think there are tricks to cooking it tender... I can ask chef friends of mine too
at any rate, am sure we could order other duck here on the island
yes..I'll bet you can
do you have a terrine dish ?
no
oh.. how many people will be eating this?
but would improvise - if it turns out to be popular, then I'd buy one
a small loaf pan and a weight for the top?
no idea, daughter often has 'open house' dinner every Tuesday night, just asks friends to let her know who and how many are coming
I've been over when they've had these, they have a great group of friends
does the amount turn out to be quite big?
this recipe is for 10 or so
it's very rich and you can slice it or spread it
ok, sounds good
I put it in the middle of a larger platter with Endive leaves, raspberries and sprigs of marjoram for color
I'll get to work on that tomorrow for you
I better head to bed
super, when you have a few minutes to spare, I'll just watch your bio for it
and thanks so much for taking this time
no problem.. I have it on file.. I have played around with it and made it better each time.
wonderful, anxious now to try it
I'd better head to bed now too, 23 to go for tomorrow
47 here
goodnight and thanks again
untile
Sorry. You can`t leave the room for a moment before someone has to have a go !

br9 a 'cut' for gems
Hello everyone
hi all
hi Carlee
hi there lynxxx
<carlee need coffee and food of some sort..big hole in the morning tummy >
<toddles to kitchen>
I'll have tea thanks - dash of milk
tea coming up..trying a new oatmeal recipe..back in a flash
Got to go...Bye Carlee
oh..bye lynxxx
well..new oatmeal recipe tastes like old way i make it...but will see if it abates hunger longer...
well..its more filling... and..apparently is good as leftovers..so will wrap up in a container and see how it fairs tomorrow
good morning! Very quiet today...
hey, sue!
hi uu
just walked in myself
hi, une and jmc!
and jmc!
hi une
hi all
it is very quiet...
hi sue, une and jmc
howdy, carlee :-)
hi, carlee!
hi carlee how did the oatmeal turn out
perhaps we are sluggish due to the heat...
my thoughts exactly!! LOL
I was going to turn off my air conditioning last night when it got to be cooler outside than inside, but it never did, 79 outside now :-(
i was sleeping in because my cat decided at 3 am i should not be allowed to sleep for about 3 hours
its ok... i am loking for breakfast foods that last in your system..as ramadan is coming up and i will be invited for a few ifars...( i always am...cus of the ladies i work with at the dinners)..the days i am invited..i fast...
79 is cool! lol
forecast here for next three days: 98 98 98 plus very high humidity . . .
i had my windows open all night..is 84 in here
well that is very nice of you carlee
tomorrow is supposed to be 45C
anyway..this oatmeal u make with milk and brown sugar and an egg whisked in...
today will be 95 but this weekend it is suppose to hit triple digits
( I am not sure how i will survive this heat..no ac and 17 hours of NOTHING by mouth )
while it is cooking?
my daughter and her boyfriend HAVE AC but don't use it because they're so damn crunchy!
yes...u simmer milk, brown sugar and egg ....add your oatmeal as normal...
i always thought ramadan was tough in the summer months
crunchy??
sounds tasty carlee
major tree huggers :-)
remember you can drink water all day even though you are fasting carlee
oh of course like granola
yup
at least in the middle east...sun up and sun down..are..essentially the same year round... 6 am to 6 pm...frig here....fajr will be 4 am ( so you stop eating / drinking prior to fajr...) and magrib is 9 :30...u break your fast after magrib
une, I turned my ac on for the first time yesterday, finally had too much! will need it today too but hopefully then will be able to turn it back off
no jmc...NOTHING by mouth....no brush the teeth..no breath mint..NOTHING passes your lips in those hours
*gets carlee a big jug of water*
odd all of my muslim friends drink water
u do not get angry..you do not have impure thought... all of this is part of the fast...
sue, here in Nashville, if I didn't have my AC on all the time, everything in my house would be mildewed!
none of mine do exceot those who work construction in the heat all day
my friend's daughter fasted fro first time last year...and she made comment..." water has a smell"
well yes, water does have a smell--even when it doesn't have a lot of chemicals
anyway..the oatmeal was ok..but if more "filling" question is...you are not comsuming as much of the grain...with the low GI...so..am not sure if will last in my system....this..is the question..
well this grid appears to be a B%&^$
she had just never noticed it before..as she had gone all day without it
its..twisty...yes jmc
the egg should help, carlee, i think protein takes a long time to digest
i know i have 5 iftars already to attend...so that 5 days of fasting...
good thing you don't live any further north, carlee!
am even considering fasting the entire month..just to see if i can do it...and i know the days when i have done so in the past....i feel..somehow...closer to the spiritual side of things...
yeesh..could u imagine....summer solstice...in alaska or yellowknife
now..winter solstice... NO problem ;)
are there concessions made for those who live above the arctic circle? Or has that just not been an issue?
you observe the times for closest city that does have defined day and night..OR...you observe the times for mekkah
the concessions i know about are for children and pregnant or nursing women or the ill and infirm
ah - i would choose mekkah, I think!!
you can also eat if you are traveling but then you have to make up the days
so..i would think..in summer...u would observe times for nearest city ( as Ramadan supposed to test your faith etc ).and in winter when only have hour maybe of daylight ish ness... you would observe times for mekkah
and travelling... and women who are menstruating do not fast....you make those days up throughout the following year
since the muslims i know who generally traveling when i see them maybe that is why they drank water as a mini fast
*know are generally
probably jmc.... when typically you not even allowed to brush your teeth throughout the day... i can't imagine...being allowed to drink water
no smoking... no biting nails...
well i admire the dicipline
if u are on meds that require food..of course...u do not fast...
diabetics....of course..do not fast...
so..anyway..hence my attempt with this alternate way of making oatmeal
wd carlee
hah! found un6!
( actually the fasting is not that hard..i often have days i forget to eat....so once i remember...another hour or 2 doesnt kill you...its the coffee...today is my last day with no coffee....as the cold turkey and unable to take tylenol for the headache...would ruin the dinner experience)
clue jmc?
carlee you can buy caffeine soap
lynxxx thinks that i can be a little un6/30 in the chog when i start dancing without my clothes
its ok...no coffee wont kill me... i do this every year...to avoid the pain...
thanks jmc....( throwing my clothes away and dancing a nekid jig myself )
ok, time for my pitiful little bit of exercise...
wise choice carlee
yw! *joins the nekkid jig*
i exercise tues and thurs or it eats up too much time
( oh man..i pity the newcomer this am )
i guess in 11 days i will have more time to exercise
*giggle*
ramadan and nekkid dancing... somehow i am not sure the 2 meld very well
speaking of which did giggly come back?
well i think you could do nekkid dancing when you are done fasting for the day
there is that ;)
won't be walking to and from work today as the kid has to go to the lawyer at 2 (deposition of the GF) - I think it will be more stressful than he is anticipating
she may request he not be in the room
and glue his mouth shit ;)
shut* i mean..oops
typo of the worst kind...
tell him to play games on his blackberry
he won't be, but it will still be stressful - they will be coming out to tell him what she said and getting his version
HAHAHA carlee what a slip
and this whole thing has been shit from start to end so don't mind the typo :-)
well you will be with him--he will be okay
yea....get him playing soduko on his bberry
that is my thinking, jmc, and we have droids rather than blackberries - even better games :-)
ramadan, nekkid dancing and foul language... what has the chog come to??( I blame the heat )
definitely the heat :-) we are never like this otherwise
NEVER <fingers crossed behind back> ( well..not all of this together... )
ok, exercise time, really, bbl!
so,...my foodage last night turned out <yay>

ty
i do love a good sneeze
bless you for the sneeze
lol, thanks
I am confused by definitions sometimes. I don't think of br4 as meaning fast, although I guess others do.
it means vigor, vivacity
I had to look it up
... I always associated it with a bubbly Italian softdrink ... ... so when OSD said "lively" I bought into it
Vivacious, bubbly, those are the definitions I think of for that word.
my 2 phantoms: toilet and nurture
me too on the first one.

Potty training! Nurturing the use of the toilet. : D
violet is another phantom
lol molly
tu 7????
nm
hint???
ends eith a womans name
i believe i am intimidated by vowels. i am finding this grid difficult
if a group of vowels came up to me on the street i think i would run away
ty geek
... I might duck into a doorway and watch them suspiciously ... but I don't know if I'd run away ... ... but every day when the "ee" words appear ... I swear that tomorrow I'll get them without waiting for the list ... haven't succeeded yet ..
I have 2 "ee" words
Yes, the usual suspects.
you are right dose. maybe i would just tu4 my back
... got 3 eventually ... yes ... the usual ones
halfway. Need to get ready for work. Have a good day all.
good morning everyone
nbt, that ru6 stumped me for a bit
does anyone have a clue for tu7 please?
tu + consonant + woman's name
thanks Molly
My search for the ru6 was fu6 for a while. : )
that pointed me in the right direction for the next 2 words, thanks again
br fast?
... the group preferred "lively" to fast for the br4
br - vigor, vivacity
hi all
hi jmc
boy i am not getting the br clues -- i have cheese, englishman, and dry champagne
don't throw me into the br5 patch
and add sometimes vowel to that
... br5 ... a patch of prickly weeds .. or the Canadian Curling Championship
br6 ... adjective describing br5
got the br5 and 6 now and another br4
ty both
add another vowel to the champagne
before final cons.
yw
dose your icon is so dark i can't see it
same birst 3 letters for the 6 + what you buy before building on it
**first
... yeah ... it's a photograph of a stage setting that my daughter did for a play called never swim alone that got all kinds of awards ... so I'm excessively proud of it ...
Aw, that's great Dose. Good for your girl!
what i can see looks interesting--good for her
proud indeed dose, good for her
... yeah but now she's trying to do all that stuff professionally ... and it's tough ... ... when the mayor of Toronto gets around to cutting all the arts funding out of the city budget next month ... my guess is she gets her name into the papers for shouting him down at a city council meeting ... and then she runs for office and makes full use of her poli sci minor at university
does anyone have a clue for et6 please?
haha that is one way to support the arts!
... it's the french for "star" ...
ty does
*dose
thanks dose, and wow, your daughter sounds like she has what it takes, more power to her
... I'm sure she does ... but it's tougher on kids now than it has been since the 30s ... I find it terrifying how many are graduating to unpaid internships ... ... she just quit the position she had at a large arts festival for two years ... to take up a lower paying "internship" with a theatre and dance company that would provide her with better experience ...
... the job interview was to write the grant request to get funding from the federal government to pay for the position ... ... she got it ... ... but how she pays her rent I haven't figured out yet ...
wow, that's a tough industry, good luck to her
yeah few of my sons friends have jobs and since his unpaid internship that was suppose to become a paid position June 6 folded he decided to drive across country
but the good news is that it looks like he will come back to a roommate for his house
... good news for you ... or good news for him?
both of us. I want him to have enough money to live on and do not want the source to be me
... that is my hope too ... ... one more kid to go ...
hi again, all!
I should be working but here I am...
work?
what a concept...
i need to spend sometime today finding a new computer :-(
oh, I was reading about your computer woes :-(
... and unusual concept that should probably be in the physics babblet ...
haha does
I have a nice one in my office and one dead and one ailing one at home... (computers that is)
grrr my dyslectic fingers
lol, dose, I have trouble explaining to my students that what we call "work" in physics is not the same as the English word!
my office one is nice too but mine for only 11 more days
so jmc, apparently they are going to have my son and the girl in the same room for her deposition this afternoon
I really want to be with him but he is balking
but I think I should insist
what do you think? am I nuts?
he will have his lawyer there
All the best to your son, sue, hope it goes well for him
remind me how old he is
... I warn kids all the time that the meaning of the words is very important and that the meaning in math class is not necessarily the same as the meaning outside of class, e.g. "real" number ... ... they don't get it ... it's another one of the times they look at me like a creature from outer space ... ... the next time is when I put a question about define these terms on the math test
21, jmc
I know I have no legal grounds to insist, it's just me being a mom
and the girl can request that I not be there
well i think you should leave it up to your son in consultation with his attorney
i know it is scary but that is what the attorney is for and his attorney seems to know what he is doing
sounds sensible :-)
and indeed he does
<==sensible when i have to be
any PC person want to help me pick out a new computer :-( [I do not want under any circumstances an apple)
I can tell you what I have in my office, which is very nice
what is that?
i have a rebuilt dell at my office
I have had good luck with Dell and Gateway. I join you in your "no thanks to Apple" feelings.
apple really is useless when you spend all your time number crunching
<--- looking up specs - box says "antec" on it
i used to love gateway but they drifted away from their original excellence when they became a public company--although i heard they have drifted back
the nice thing about dell is that the founder was a conscientious objector to the vietnam war
Good Afternoon , Hope all are well :)
antec makes computer cases
hi sadie i am suffering from massive computer failure but otherwise am alright
uu did you try right clicking on "my computer"?
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T processor at 3.20 GHz, 7.74 GB of memory, running windows 7 professional, wireless mouse and keyboard, LG blu-ray read/write DVD, wireless adapter, 465 GB hard drive
hi jmc ewwww I hate when that happens
I think our guys assembled it
she did! :-)
I go into withdrawal when computers are down
yeah and it is on multiple fronts--laptop and netbook and yahoo was compromised
I did indeed, jmc, and discovered that you cannot copy and paste from the window that appears :-)
oh not good
also I have a nice big screen
so i see uu that is terrible that you had to actually type!
i have lovely flat screen at my office
well i am off to research computers *sigh*
not terrible, just slow
*poof*
display is an asus
howdy all, reading back, nice computewr sue..what gpu do you have for it?
only problem with some dells with onboard video is that they have proprietary video driver updates
darn missed jmc..could of offered some guidelines
GPU?
grapics processing unit=video card
ah. Let me look.
all that horsepower is nothing without a good card
ATI Radeon HD 4250?
Meanwhile. I cannot and cannot get the first UN (un7,44) and it's my last word. Any help would be appreciated!
sounds fine sue:))
(device manager categories are a bit obscure)
stick a consonant into the un6/30, erda
Will do -- thanks, uu
hi all, do not have either un7 or the un6 help pls
i do have the un6, now let me look for a un7
It's the FIRST one, not the second I need, uusue
bingo, got a un7, ty sue
un7 is about lying - you might sign a letter yours UNtr***
oh, sorry, that's the only one I have :-(
br 6/27 anyone?
good evening everyone
hi, ruru and glant (and peri and erda :-)
don't have it ruru but am looking
br6,27 sounds like you made a bunch of tea or coffee.
br7 sounds like brulee but the end is spelt differently
br 6/27...first three of Popeye's nemesis + not a little but a ***
and I only have 53 words so am not likely to be a lot of help
Popeyes nemesis?
br + vowel + piece of land you build your house on
got it ty
thanks
is the 7 related?
The guy Popeye fought with? The guy Popeye competed with? The big muscular guy in the Popeye cartoons?
we are in the midst of a major heat wave here
I know the guy, just can
un7 - the first one - is the un of a medieval town official a re5
can't remember his name but got the br6 anyway
The 7 is not related
my ac just quit.
oh dear mixi
there is a br7?
where is "here" peri?
*Hands mixi a battery operated fan*
south eastern PA near Phila
i am having trouble reading because I got some spurge/euphorbia sap in my eye 8 hours ago and despite washing it every 15 minutes the eye is still streaming and very sore
ah -- thanks!
there is a br7
ow, glant!!!!
yikse Glant
might want to have that checked Glant, don't want to mess with your eyesight
it's poisonous and painful.. you should see a doctor glant
help with br7 pls
agree
now
not tomorrow.... now
some start as the br6 + the start of being horizontal + ie
mixi, get fans, and sit in the basement - or go to the library (my personal favorite) or the mall - this weather is nothing to fool around with
so arfe you going to the doctor now, Glant or to the emergency room?
I only got the teeniest teenist bit transerred fom my hand to my eye
no doctor or emergency room for 20 miles and i can;t drive like this - just keep eyewashing
is there anyone you can call, Glant, anyone at all
ty for the br7
not getting the horizontal part of that clue
i'm not having any blurring or anything - and i did speak to a pharmacist who gave me the eyewash
what does the word which describes the position you're in when you're sleeping? first two letters
spurge is awful and it burns like hell
yes it burns lik hell
never heard of spurge but sounds like a lot of discomfort from just a little bit
br7 starts like the br6/27 (1st 4 letters) then add the sometimes vowel, then add two more vowels
got the br finally
thank you
i have checked on the intenet and if i had got the sap directly in my eye i would have called paramedics
we thought of you the other day reue, the conversaton was about sex and food :)
get someone to drive you glant..do not mess with you sight,my wife is legally blind at 20/400 and nobody needs that.get to the doctors
ruru even
but i got it on my hand, then cleaned my hand with a wet wipe, so it must have been the tiniest trace which got into my eye when i rubbed it about an hour later
aw i thought you were thinking of me with the sex and food topics peri :-)
Hi Everyone :)
hi nan
sex and food?
Just reading the chog -- glan are sure it wasn't something from the cleaning solution in the wipe that is irritating your eye?
yess ruru and you were no where to be found :(
not liking this grid. bbl
If the eyewash isn't working, maybe you should go to emergency and have your eye irrigated.
oh this is way way worse that a simple irritant like that - and they were skin esensitive baby wipes - my eye has been streaming for 8 hours straight
the eyewash works for about 10-15 minutes each time
call..a..friend..to drive you...
I got sunscreen in my eye last year, and wound up in emergency -- was fine after doctor irrigated it.
call an enemy even :)
my m-i-l did this once,by the time she was convinced to go,she ended up with a permanant floater in her field of vision.....
I will call the health service helpline and see what they have to say, but i think it is starting to improve
hi all, playing babble at holiday address :) no Expert, so bear with me if I post words...
howdy sprite:)
enjoying your books?
th 6/30 anyone?
very much! \reading the Catteni trilogy right now.
where are you holidaying sprite?
very nice
th6 - the act of a person who steals things
in Groningen (try to pronounce that, lol), in the North of the netherlands
verb, evem
thank you glant
I can pronounce Groningen - I go on holiday to lower Saxony on a quarterly basis!
be 6/27, please?
last ey?
crossy, very new to epubs, so I am wondering: is there an easy way to correct them, make them without all those mistakes?
yayyy Glant! Not many can, the hard G isn't easy to master
be 6/17: girl's name (be 4/7) + Otis **evator
I think the last ey is a welsh word - it is the same as the previous but replace the e with a consonant
yes,i sent you the pfd and the original copies.if you turn them into text or open files by using the note pad or a office program, you can manylay correct the mistakes there and use the calibre program to turn it back into a proof read e-pub
thx kiddo
ty buff

are there many errors? i am sorry crossy did not proof read those copies
once | am home, I am gonna get it. Yes, in some books quite a lot. Want to have the corrected epub back from me once I am done?
eyelet isn't a word?
just popping in to say HI Babblers.. hope you all are staying cool in this heat wave.. have an appt. so can't chat today - wish I could.. til next time, ciao!
i usually find on average 4 herrors per 100 pages,so i leave it unless it gets very bad
not in the grid
and no need for sorry, am very happy with the books! Am just a very good proof reader, is all
yes sprite a clean copy will be nice
ahot aloy
right !
lol I find at least one in every 2 pages, in the Catteni even more. But I know I am bad, I spot 99,99 % when proofreading
hiya Aloy :)
Hi everyone!
crossy, will send you any epubs I have edited.
it is labour intensive sprite, but that is why we got them free, many are first editioneditor copies and as such have not had a final pass
uncorrected proofs as it were
it is no problem, and I can do it pretty fast. Will be my pleasure
heya car.ee :)
did the chog freeze or did I make everybody speechless?
I'm too hot to type!
*fans cool air towards car.ee*
Bless you Sprite!
No AC Car?
Too hot and my keyboard is really crapping out, so it takes quite a while to type what i want to say!
No AC Molly : ( And Hello!
tu7?
and i was working away at the grid - last 10 to find
We do have it in the bedrooms though...however, a pane of glass popped out of my window, so that is NOT helping keep the cold air in!
Oy, it's brutally hot to be dealing with no AC.

I have been on vacation- I hate unplugging!
hi Kap - did you go anywhere good
back from unhealthy but very lovely pizza
sounds tasty, sprite. i had 2 crabcake sandwiches (healthy, homemade crabcakes) and some cherries.
sounds good too, EvaN :)
they certainly arent $20 crabcakes, but they arent bad. i wont rave about them the way i did about my tuna burgers, though. ;)
hehehe :)
I had cherries - rainier cherries that are yellow and some red that we brought back from our trip out wesdt
yummmie nice
I'm in Maine
We have a cherry orchard near us now and its a lovely time of year to get them straight off the tree - they gro sunset and stella
with the Maniacs.
These were from a cherry orchard in washington state just east of Mt Rainier
we also got cherries from right in the orchard right on the US canada border in British Columbia
they're a real treat for us because we don't get fresh cherries from right around here
I hear Maine is very pretty in the summer Kap.
There are a lot of trees.
Kap - do you live near the coast or up in the mountains
I don't live here...but we are on Mt. Desert Isle.
Inlaws
Eva have you ever been to Mrs. K's? They have amazing crab cakes.
*Puts on Eve Arden wig and prepares for Mother-in-law jokes from Kap*
it sounds good - lovely scenery?
i suppose we are lucky in the UK cos we get stuff from all over at any time of year - though i have become more concious of the food miles

Hi All

Yup

br9 is an extention of the br4... little one in french--the br is the babblet that means lively
Hmmm.... ty

Probably mee too.

It's okay, I have a lot of others to work on. :-)
i have 74 left myself
Just started also
haha ev5/16 is a new word to me--an email request for you to attend a party
AHA! Got it. ty

The funny thing is, that ev word is an archaic word for avoid. : D
Hi Molly
and it's french for "avoid" :-)
Hi Une
afternoon, hego :-)
hello babble world
Hi all - missing the last ey5 - any clues pls/
Hi Jen

(ruru's in the grid today
Hi Stiddy
Hi folks ... this grid is a little nasty eh?
Just mean
Hi Origami, very strange words today.
hey origami
I am just getting here but slowing down at only 42
of course I am eating and watching a design show for inspiration... have the bedroom mostly prepped for the first painting run (ceiling first coat). SO excited!
hi all, clue for the lone L bottom row?
lbd ... le 5/16 ... holds back a river
hey LBD!
ty, origami, was spelling it wrong
hi stiddy
rofl... Tom is being VERY silly!
Hi Dawg
nbt!
we have four different clickers to run the electronics. I know how to use one or another, but when something happens unexpectedly, I get all kerfluffled and just freeze up. Although I can handle so many technical tasks on computers the many buttons and boxes for the AV system Tom put together are just too much.
go LBD go!
hi hego!
NBT here too. We actually had sun for almost three hours in a row today!
now it's cloudy again (but Tom has found my sunlight simulator so it will be okay now)
Hi to my fellow babblers! How is everyone doing today
By the way, congratulations to all the finishers! YAY!
hey min! welcome to the grid! how's your summer going?
Hi Minver
anyone have a clue for the bo 6/24?
99 bo 6s of beer on the wall...
*grin* I am actually down to about 85...
That bo 6/24 word is message in a bo**** origami.
My summer is going well.My summer job is keeping me so very busy! It is a lot of work, but I still like the job
so glad you are enjoying the work, min -- and it seems that busy is okay really, as long as you are still getting a little bit of time to relax.
did you get that bo 6 yet origami?
ha. halfway.
I really should not be babbling now because I have so much school work I to do. Last week I wasn't able to babble all week Monday through Friday. Had so much work to do w/lessons plans. Sneaking in Babbling now.
I know how that feels, Min. I had to set myself small goals and take mini-breaks from my work last quarter to give my brain regular rests (and so I didn't feel overly deprived)
I hope you will have a lovely evening, everyone. back to painting! *poof*
Thanks Min ... I always miss the easy ones
yw
Bye stidmama! I'll see you later in the chat log maybe.
clue for the bl7?
bl7/40 is b plus le5/12 word plus a hook letter cosdem
thanks got it

An re5/16 word is late actor Christover Re*** cosdem
I always forget that's a real word.
So is it's opposite un 7,44
Hi Michnick! How are you doing? Welcome to the grid.
Apparently so Mich
thanks for the un7 :)
Hi, I am pretty tired. Probably going to bed soon. I just dropped my daughter off at the airport. She is on her way to teenage adventure!!
My ESL students are also experiencing some teenage adventure this summer at the progam I am teaching.
OK Good night all.
Goodbye Michnick!I will see you tomorrow in the chog
U's Undressed! 9 left
morning all :)
evening mrp! what time s it there now?
are you a day ahead of us?
Hi blue!! yes, a day ahead and 9am
I've always wanted to visit australia, I will someday.
My partner and I love to travel, but it will take me to convince her to take the long flight.:)
not today blue! it is horrendous weather along the south/east coast!
I've decided Hawaii first, then to your country!
what kind of weather?
It's been very hot here on the East Coast, tomorrow is supposed to be pretty bad.
mid winter torrential rain!!!
it is the wettes July in like a century!! we never have this kind of weather in winter!!
i heard about your horrid heatwave!!
have you moved yet blue??
hey all. back to do battle once again...
hi stid!
**hugs** to the heatwavers...
hey mrp (((hugs))) -- I am NOT a heatwaver, not even a sun-all-dayer.
you'll be sorry -- we're very sticky!! LOL
ok, this isn't likeable this grid.
bonjour une!
ok then... *sticky hugs*!
comment ca va?
hi une! :))
trying not to scratch my mosquito bites and poison ivy!
hey, stiddy and mrp :-)
ick. not good, une *hands over calamine lotion*
ouch une!!
yup
but on the plus side, I have lots of pink surprise lilies popping up!
did you try a baking soda bath? sometimes that used to help. Haven't had poison ivy in 30+ years, though...
did the pups lead you down the poison ivy trail??
no, weeding . . .
we lucky... we don't have it here
inside with the AC it's not bad -- but the heat outside really makes me want to claw my ankles! LOL
no, but you have frog plagues...
and mrp has scary snakes and spiders!
the weather has been so shocking!! I can't even drive in it! Going to post office today, no matter what though!
wow, seems like everyone's getting extreme weather, eh?
we have ugly, bad toads, introduced to kill something or another... now they are like a noxious weed!
scaries snakes!!
scariest even!
:-D
yes, about 72% of our days this year have been well below "normal" for our area, so many plants are in trouble (my cherry will have to be removed) because there is too much damp and the fungi are too happy...
sorry about your cherry, stid :-(
I am finally (after 30 years) no longer afraid of, and indeed rarely startled by, the snakes in our garden which are completely non-poisonous.
me too, une, thanks
not the cherry!!
but when I was a kid almost any snake scared me
stid, you see a snake in my garden... you run like hell!
yep. it has brown rot, and although good weather it might have outgrown it, it is almost dead already.
rarely see snakes my yard and if I do, it's just a little garter snake
I know, mrp -- and on the ot5 side of the mountains (east of us) I do! LOL
and if you get bit, you call an ambulance immediately and try to remember what the bugger looked like
rattlers ??
you have scorpions too?
hang on... you guys have some dangerous stuff in your gardens!! and really stinky stuff too. Skunks?
my scariest snake experience was swimming in the river in Louisiana and realizing there was a snake swimming next to me!!!
rattlers to the east, scorpions only in warmer, dryer places like california and nevada (two+ states away)
yep. skunks abound! but they are nocturnal and don't enjoy human company so rarely seen.
we only have skunks waaaay out in the boonies
we also have porcupines.
we had scorpions at the camp i went to as a child in TX
and a bear... and foxes and coyotes and a cougar/puma all make the rounds
I don't like scorpions.
hey all..I am really stuck on br 7/48
EVERYONE has coyotes these days . . .
I also struggle with any spider bigger than about a half inch
there's a br 7??? *runs to find it*
I am trying to avoid reading the chog as I am deathly afraid of snakes
well, the dinner plate size spiders here would have you screaming!!
and they live in our house too
mrp... I think I will put off our dinner date if that's okay... *grimace*
good grief, that br7 is insane
help please une?
I know, une!
b + ru4/7 + opp of to live is to d**
There is no way it can be a real word
thanks une!
this grid is very sucky!!
thank you!!
and of course no dictionary definition!
yw :-)
the ceiling in the bedroom is painted (one coat) -- I insisted on waiting until it is completely dry before deciding if it will need another coat.
Scot and Irish: disturbance or row . . . hmmmm
already the room looks brighter!
cool!
yep. I did the roller part and tom did the cutting in. I brought the paint down the walls a bit. We'll decide later if we want the color to go all the way up to the ceiling (the shallow half-vault makes it a peculiar ceiling)
tomorrow, if possible, I would like to put the yellow walls on (the accent wall will be a very very light violet), just to get them out of the way. and friday, I hope, the violet. And then I can think about trim and windows.... and then bringing everything back into the room!!!
sounds very fresh and creative, stiddy!
creative, anyway! LOL and a nice change after 11 years of primer-only :-D
oh! french star is in the grid! (et 6)
yep
a number of french words actually!
cheese and noise, for example
E's Entered! 7 left
go, min!
ah! I didn't have the cheese yet!
go min go!!!
I have my age left (this will take a while...)
wait. which is the french word for noise? fils? *wicked mama grin*
LOL
br5
oh! I thought that was the heartbeat word -- but it makes sense. merci!
and then there's br4/7 and ho8
I have the br 4, but not the ho 8 *thinking*
NOW I have the ho8!
down to 40 -- the last decade just "melted" off LOL
stid, learned a new French expression today: Je suis vexe comme un pou
I am a little miffed?
i'm mad as a louse, i. e. hopping mad LOL
rofl... like a louse! pou = louse. LOVE IT!
me too!
oh, good timing for me - stopped in just in time to pick up all the french words - Merci!
Oh, I'll have to try to remember that one!
howdy, jbv
I still have soixante-douze to go!
JBV!!!! (((hugs and hugs))) how are you?
Did someone say the ho8 is a french word?
Hi, all...
24 here . . .
hey, jellen!
hi, stid! very good - how's things with you?
yes, monkey
hey jellen and monkey!
merci! hello stidlicious!
hi jellen, Une, JBV & evvyone!
inn manager or owner
well, things are going well! thanks JBV -- did you know I got my teaching certificates? AND this week the third endorsement was added! I am now allowed to confuse and confound kids in elementary, mid-level humanities AND reading! LOL
steamy in Virginia, monkey?
thanks Une, got it :)
OMG yes, Une, it's hot as H*LL here
*wicked mama-teacher grin* I am going to be (in)famous!
Whoo hoo! My first word is the ho8!
OH! Congratulations! That is so great, Stid - I remember when you were just starting on that goal!
oh monkey... *sprays COLD water over Yorktown*
congrats, stid!
allez, jellen, allez!
Do you have an assignment for September?
oooooh thanks stid! ahhhhhh
stiddy's out there warping malleable brains left and right!
thanks. I am so glad it's over!
no, not looking for full-time or even long-term work at the moment. Need to get over the health issues and take some time to get the kids back on track academically. Will substitute teach, though. I have many friends locally who will call on me.
Oh, I didn't know. HOpe it's nothing too serious. You'll be the kids' favorite sub, I'm sure!
the only reason I would apply would be an opening at one of the three schools that I would love to work with the administrator... and those schools have very low turn over.
But you never know - people leave for all kinds of reasons - ... it could happen
No, nothing very serious, just a whole bunch of things on top of each other, you know? I am glad I have some time this summer to recuperate -- it's my first summer off in years!
damn I need some U words
true, it could happen. And I am well poised to take advantage of it if it does.
monkey, un5 your language improves, I cannot help you.
un5 loosen laces
"un*** we meet again . . . "
well, you deserve to enjoy your summer - celebrate, relax and enjoy!
bleeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaah
rofl
ut5 french word again, meaning useful
I am, JBV! looking forward to stidkid #2's first opening night tomorrow, and the return of stidkid #1 from his first hiking/camping trip!
un + ru4/7
merci, Une
I do enjoy hearing good news from Babblers - that's great, stid
and you JBV? how is your family doing? I haven't been on at the same time as you in ages, but I think of you often
there is a un7 -- not having veracity
things are moving along - I'm keeping up with my Italian lessons - exchanging emails on a weekly basis with the folks in Italy - some Skype calls, too - it's fun
My brother who lives in Santa Fe was here for the weekend (for a wedding) so I hung out with him, his wife, and my sister and hubby - nice weekend
molto bene! io leggo un po d'italiano (each day) -- but I have forgotten so much. It's so nice to have the time to start reviewing, though!
how nice! glad you had time to visit
I read the Italian newspaper online and I like to click on the videos to see how much I can understand - there's so much available on line - did you know you can also see some Italian TV programs on RAI TV online?
hi all, re5 pls
I did not know that! Will check that out pronto!
hey peri!
re 5: christopher re5 (superman)
ty stid, and I already had the un7

Jellen, it is either an lo5/10 girls' nickname or lo4/5
lo 5/10
Oh shoot, I think the 5/10 comes from the other L. Maybe le 5/16? Yeah, I think that's it.
Yeah! It was the le 5/16...thanks!
sorry for the wrong clue
It's okay, peri...got three other words while trying!

Bye 72 Temple Owl! I will see you tomorrow in the log.
I'm assuming that you all know that re5/16 is to pass a rope through and that un7/44 is to take it out again?
Hi folks!
tu6 is a European flatfish and un7 is an unfauthful proclaimer of loving someone forever.
Or rather, in the latter case, how that person proclaims their love.
Talking to myself, I see!
hi jacula
hey all.
hi stid :-0
ty jacula!
oops... :-))
:-)
hey dobie
Hi di and stid. jmb - y/w.
hey all
just thought i would ooze on in and set a spell
I've got some chap from a solar panel company coming later today to assess the position of my house and the angle of it for what solar panels I need, all to do with government grants to fit them. It'll be a waste of an hour of my time and his, since the panels cost anywhere between £9K and £13K to fit and, even if the Government grants got them down to £4K, I still couldn't afford it. Not prepared to add to the almost finished mortgage, since my pay is below the breadline anyway.
hey carlee! *twisty front walk-over wave*
hi stiddy ~**LIMP WAVE*~*~ was the sweat runs off finger tips
as* even
If any 'spells' are to be had, carlee, I hope they can magic up some funds for me!
wow carlee *offers tequila popsicle* (you dip the lime popsicle in the tequila...)
thanks stiddy..goes with the gin and lemonade :)
i need those same spells jacs
stiddy..am waiting on govt approval for funding... in a year..i too ( fingers crossed) will be teaching :) ( ESL or EFL )
woo-hoo carlee!
and perhaps in 2 years... teaching in school..or...in the middle east
one or the other
i find out the 5th of august
My daughter arrived in Toronto (from Calgary) a few hours ago. She says it is VERY HOT there at present. That is without the nasty shock of knocking on the hostel door to have it opened by an ex-b/f from England, who we both wondered might try to do away with her after she finished with him, as in anger issues and 'if I can't have you nobody else will'. Fortunately, she's in an all-female dorm, as she told me, 'and so he can't try to smother me in the night'.
OH OH OH..and i got my drivers license today with my maiden name back in place :)..tomorrow...filling out passport aplication and getting notorized :)
that's pretty scary coincidence, jac
that is jsut weird jacs...and yes..its hot here..tomorrow it will feel ike 47C
( that is 117 for the americans int he room )
:-D good for you carlee
Considering how big Canada is and how big Toronto is, the chances of the hostel thing are almost too strange to be co-incidental. I hope they are co-incidental, but I do have my police officer bro-in-law in Calgary on alert, just in case.
oh my, that's WAY hotter than I like. I am happy at 30, melt at 40.
i am not moving far from my fan..except to go get my passport photos and the passport form
omg..was that hot..i am dying and tomorrow we are to set heat records for this part of ontario...47c with humidex....
Hi Min..sorry was afk..got company...am doing fine ty
( am so excited... when i found out my passport had expired. i panicked...i dont like not having my passport )
oh gee cross -- you too? I thought since you were further north you would be okay
yeap....it is crossy...
nope..it is for us as well stidmama
HAHAHA he is not THAT much further north
he is only 3 or 4 hours away from me
You are all welcome to come and cool off here in BC
high pressure system ..a give from our friends sougth of the border...
hey grandy!
( crossy one of these days you and the mrs and i gotta hook up somewhere in between )
gift
howdy doody
hi grandy
supposed to be 99 here for the next 3 day...and humid
ick sea, not fun.
its 117 here tomorrow sea
ru6 clue please?
mmm..bc,and chilly mountain air flowing over babbling brooks with smiling salmon....
it is the humidity that takes your breath away. good luck staying cool
oh my carlee...I hope you have access to a pool
hey bea
ru 6 is more ru 4,5
nm
more ru 4/5
no pool..no a/c
it matches the un 6/30
just came in from outside...it feels like a sauna out there
carlee, what about the "puddle" in the back yard?
it was the other ru6
i just openned my windows....it is finally cooler outside than in..its 89 out there right now
the puddle has..green stuff in it
I'm still worried about whether I should be worrying about the almost too strange co-incidence in a Toronto hostel.
we are watching "source code" -- an on demand movie (I have never watched an on demand movie -- I feel so powerful!) LOL
can u fiz it at the moment jac's?
we have georgian bat carlee, common over to my place
bay
you could call the toronto police department and let them know to keep an eye on her.
georgian bat?
I don't have the ot5 ru 6 *thinking*
you will have to translate tonight..cannot use the kb warth a damn tonight
i have lake huron 10 min walk from here..its the walk that would kill me
okay, ru + the ceramics you put on floors and walls
ru+ clean the grout between the square porceline thingies
ty carlee
i cant type either
I've got relatives in Ontario and the Police officer in Calgary. I will leave it for now, since she's only there for one more night.
she is in an all girl dorm
crossy - what is the 'kb warth'?
oops gotta go again... my husband has ALS and needs my assistance for a bit.
(((grandy))) later
i give up...lol
thanks... most days are still good... the harder days are yet to come.
i am so sorry grandy...my wifes grammy had als...
kb warth?
nm carlle..not worth translating
oh..keyboard..worth gotcha
hahaha you been into allthe misty jack crossy...
u prolly found my stash too ya wee beast
i am cooked from dancing for the tourists in that heat for 8 hours:(
Ah! I think wht crossy meant to type was, 'I cannot use thekyeboard worth a damn tonight!' Is that correct (asks a former proof reader)?
indeed jacula
i cant use mine either
gin and lemonade
cus crossy stole all my misty jack
Mine isn't too bad - 3 glasses of my Other Half's stash of red wine in... LOL
mmm..misty-jack.....
I prefer dry white wine, but I drank what was left of that already...
wine to me is salad dressing my booze has to have a nice blue flame when you set it afire..or be able to run engines
So, if you read past posts, do I bother letting the solar panel chap do a survey and tell me what I could buy and what I could save?
gin...and lemonade...
okay, down to 25. back tomorrow! **hugs and choclits for all** Jac, hope your daughter will call you with all good news tomorrow.
why not jacs....
nite nite stiddy...
{{stiddy}} sweaty hugs
Crossy - having been burned enough by spirits in ny teens I only use them for cooking now and drink wine, beer or cider with meals or just for the sake of drinking them.
tequila :)
mmm,eat the worm!!
love tequila
i need food... but am so hot....
when i ran bar,we used to save back the algave worms and use 6 or 7 to make a special shooter that people would bid on
oh god....thats just wrong
carlee - only perhaps not because I'm too impatient to be bothered wasting my time with things I know I cannot afford, I guess. Done my internet checks and there's no way I could afford the solar panels. However, I could possibly lay the plan given to me later in front of my millionaire ex-hub , who is co-owner of the housew still, since he still hasn't paid it off and signed it over to me 16 years after the court order.
we are doing just cold plates tonight carlee, ritz crackers, saliced polish sausage, charp cheddar, pickles, picked beets, celery with cheese whiz etc
damn,damn typos...
and mac salad and tater salad
evening all
i just had a buraq...
it cant hurt to see the plan...
what the heack is that..a mid east facial covering?
hi dan
howdy dan
I'm sure he is very confident that I'm going to die before he is, since I'm an overweight smoker who drinks, but I never injected steroids to become a great bodybuilder.
steriods will do you in fast
see pic i posted yesterday crossy....
steroids will in fact do u in fast
you muscles grow, but you kidnesy fail, you ligaments do not keep up with the muscle and a few other naty things
Carlee - yes, I'll see the plan. (Though I know I can't afford to take them up on it. I would put it on the mortgage, but I don't have the funds to pay.)
( looks like an egg roll..but is filled with curried veggies )
and you family jewls become paste jewlery lol
ewwww
all show aND NO GO AS IT WERE LO.,L...
so..my count down on....
t minus 16 days until i know about school
had a bad exoerience with prednasone 17 year ago and don't know why anyone would mess with steroids if not for medical reasons
i am laying here..with my fan..sweating...i think i am going to have to have a cool bath and soak for a while before i hit the hay
How does $220 dollars a month grab you to survive on? That's what I get.
my electric bill is more than that Jac...how do you do it?
for support jacs?...that is what i am getting now
I get the same in rent fro my son, who still lives with us, I get $61 for my stepdaughter.
It still doesn't add up, so Beloved takes the brunt of it now, and I feel it's not right!
ok..well...am afrid i need a bath... to cool off... taking prisoner of azkaban to the tub with me to do some reading before bed
I could always fend for myself financially at one time, that's something I knew I needed to do.
toodles all *sweaty poof *
( ok..am in sim boat but no beloved to pick up slack and may well end up moving in with my mother at the age of 45..jacs..it could be worse )
*actual poof*
The years have frayed me and defryed my ability to earn.
Yes, carlee, since Beloved's firm has been bought out by a foreignn company who may well 'downsize', that option may well go out of the window.
The sooner Britain gets out of the European Community the better!
carlee - if you read back and see this, my ex used to give me a scenario where he'd pay for me and my mother to move into a country cottage together, just like he'd pensioned both of us off as no longer useful. Neither of us wanted to take that offer up!
Hi
Hi Hwerin. Is your cat forgiven for its sins now?
no
She did it again last night then he hairballed on the lounge rug
OH DEAR!
Except it was the other rug in the bathroom
she is just angry that we are moving stuff about and spoiling their fun
My cat wanted to bring in a dead mouse tonight but couldn't pick it up 'cos he'd lost it for too long and it had a slug on both sides of it. He'd picked it up by the tail when he brought it to the door, but slug slime had got on the end of the tail when he'd set it down and he was trying everything he could to wipe the slug slime off his mouth. LOL
need clues please. for the o and the y pleawse.
I noticed the other night that he'd obviously learned his lesson about eating frogs, after he'd bitten the head off one - they taste NASTY and make your mouth foam. He stepped over and around one in front of me to wander off elsewhere in search of prey.
ob 5/14 is ob plus actor *** Wallach mkg & hello there.
mkg - Hi, The y4 is The Abominable Snowman.
my wife can find a fresh hairball in a heartbeat..all she has to do is walk to the bathroom for a middle of the night pee

silly computer has no shift key
HI Jm
i am suffering from computer malaise and too much jack
I vote yes on the Jack. The house has the plague
didyou hear about my rat herin/
/ was a question mark with no shift key
There is an awful lot of R words to clue.
Rat is dead?
mkg - ru words are what a king does, more orderly ( a in opposite to un6/30, ru + floor covering word.
then after the rat my computer fried
no i wish herin
What did you do to your pc?
there is now a truck with blinking lights in front of my house
i reached into a drawer and the grey thing that i could not quite make out without glasses moved and showed its tail
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
i spilled water on an already ailing pc
Time for some friendly rat traps
you should have seen me jump and throw the pan i was washing in the air
water every where
jmc - at pet or a pest?
i put out poison
pest i do not willingly live with rodent
No BAD
don't even like squirrels
sceamed like a little girl
Oh! Okay jmc. Hope you get your problem sorted soon.
Poison is really bad to the mouse and the environment and what you going to do if the thing dies in the wall?
then today fried my computer so i went to my netbook and a virus ate it
You screamed like a girl I cried like a baby when my friends cat killed a mouse in frount of me
i have lived with a dead rat in the wall before--hold your nose until it doesn't smell any more
Herin is right re the poison option.
well there is no way i am putting out glue traps
You can get some traps that you just catch them and then release them or you just stick them in the freezer
ich1
The poison's also cruel. It gives them Luekamia, they die slowly.
the number one is an exclamation point
they don't die that slowly jac--rodents can't throw up --unlike cats
No really it is cruel. We never have had a mouse problem here. My friend gets them in her house as she lives on a farm
JM they die slowly. They burn from the inside out. I have seen it on farms
if it were a mouse i might be more sympathetic it was a rat
I'm off to bed again now, only one dead rodent. I didn't kill it, the cat did, but he did do it quickly.
i have seen smaller cats that this thing
well if my cat had been on the job. . . .
On the farm the dog gets the rats
good night jac
Night or morn Jac
No, they don't throw up, jmc - which means the death is more prolonged.
Morn - Herin. I'm gone now. Tatty bye!xx
now there are 3 trucks with blinking lights in front of my house
sorry to be insensitive but it is a rat
JM what are the trucks doing out the front? Unless they are hot fireman or construction workers or police they can go away
jmc, what are the lights doing there?
are you ok?
Does anybody have a clue for the br9/66 word please
i have no idea not fire trucks or police or ambulance the lights are yellow
Road Crew?
br4 that means lively in a french deminutive
I assume you are ok?
