Hello, jilli!

guess we're the only ones left jilli - I'm off to bed
g'night
hi jellen -- you're up late!
G'night, flosey
flosey, is that the first do4/6?
oh hi Jellen, didn't see you here
yes jilli
Yes...was at a friend's house until late, then an hour's drive home on dark, wet roads...
oh, not a pleasant drive, Jellen
I have a friend whose nickname is half of that (Jack Layton's mother actually)
glad you got home safely, jellen -- that's no fun.
We really needed the rain, though...
ah, this gal's last name was Starky - and that's going back more than 70 years
We're beginning t0o need some here too
and I need to go to bed too -- do you need clues, jellen?
Oh, no thanks, jilli...much too soon...
ok, I'm off then -- happy babbling -- *poof
Sweet dreams...
icon changed for tomorrow, goodnight now

good morning all :)
Hi. is there anyone from England here?
hi lady
hi, I'm from Oxford England
hi Jjenny
Hi Jenny. Can you please inform me if The Royal in Tottenham is still standing?
HI Sprite.
As far as I can tell it is alright. The riots were awful but that seems o.k.
Thanks. My mum was interested this is were she meet dad. I know it is just awful
can you clue the other 8 (i have the re8) thank you.
only one I have
Sorry besty is on the fb
Trying to see if she wants to come over and play:d
Ok Have to duck out
de8: made more intense/lower
thanks sprite, I had the ones associated with that but not the 8
yvw
bye lady
please can you please clue the top e in the 4th column for nbt and nbs, thanks

hello again, 77 words earlier
{{sprite}}
hey rubyfoo :) I have one left now.
and then there were none... fireflies!
yay sprite!
would you like any clues, rubyfoo?
I still have 45 left, but have nbt and nbs. Probably too many, but thanks
husband has suddenly become morose and refuses to talk about it!
I think I need sprite to come here and cheer him up!
it is a rather gentle grid today
oh how very errrr male of him :)
odd grid, so many e's
I could do that, rubyfoo :)
I don't even know if it's something I did, or that he dreamed, or that he remembered, but it makes it very hard not to be able to help him
or I could make him another pretty collage...
you are so sweet!
do you have any clues for the en10,91 word
I could send you some tomatoes from the garden! they are huge and plentiful this year, very unusual
I don't know your husband, rubyfoo, but in general, when men are troubled by something, they ne4 to think it all out and over for themselves before they can talk about it.
I think you know him pretty well by now, sprite, since I've talked about him so (too) much!
hi Aaron, yes I do. First 4 letters: scientific prefix for 'inner' next 3 are what peas live in last 3: mixed up garment men wear around their necks
phantom: nepenthe
ooooo nice one, rubyfoo!
hello aaron: sprite is much better at clues than I!
What I do when my love is all morose and turned inward, is I tell him I can see something is bothering him, that I am sorry he is not happy and that I am there for him when he needs something from me. Like a hug or a talk or a cup of coffee.
I played scrabble in French with a neighbor yesterday and actually didn't embarrass myself (didn't win, either)
I tried all that (except for the hug) which would feel fake right now
garden tomatoes are the very best.
it is amazing how big they are and my neighbor said all of hers turned black this year
oh I don't DO it, I just tell him that whenever, he can call on me. And then I just leave him to his stewing. Generally speaking, we women want to talktalktalk about things while we work them through, and men don't, they only start talking after they have worked things through.
dite
whoops, sorry
and if it is really bad, I also tell him I know he will work it out. Show him I trust his judgment.
you are wise beyond your years!
lol! I guess my years count double ;)
or multiply by 7, like a pup!
hahahahaha
aaron must think we're a little bit nuts!
*wiggles tail* So... apart from the dogs and fossiles, what interests does your love have?
reading philosophy, but his eyes are terrible. Actually re-reading, as he has previously read it all!
ah! I might be able to work with that... does he like a little challenge?
did I tell you that I found a drawerful of my old artwork from '68-'78|?
he won't play any games, not scrabble, not monopoly, not cards
oh no you did not. How great, rubyfoo! Could be a sign from the powers that be for you to take it up again :)
but if I would give him some philosophical quotes, would he feel challenged to remember who wrote them?
I had 4 very intricate colored ink renderings of patchwork quilt designs which I gave to my neighbor who teaches a patchwork class. I don't know if she realizes the value of what I gave her, but they are beautiful
no, I don't think so. One of the things that may be depressing him is that his memory is going
kill me now
ah, then that is out.
{{mrp}} shall we kill you softly?
*shoots mrP with a pea*
put a bullet in and aim at the heart... that is where I feel the most pain
what is wrong, mrp?
Aaron, did you find the en10? Or do you want more clues?
breathe in.... breathe out.... this too shall pass, mrP. Whazzup?
I got the en10 have you got any more clues for other words
the barstardo that owes my husband money just froze him out of the business venture they had together, and blamed ME cause he is worried about what I would do to his product if I accessed the code. And guess what? my son heard and can recall the whole conversation... thank luv to asperger's yeah??
re8: unclosed again de8: made more intense/lower
i have had NOTHING to do with him or the business or any of the code or access... I wouldn't know how to access my underwear draw without my husband opening it for me every morning!
sorry to leave, mrp, but have to see about DH
so $35K of money he owes my husband??? He is blaming me!! for not trusting Mark over the last 3 days
thanks now my brain can have a rest
Bye sprite and thanks for your kind listening and offers of help
DH is always important! see you later
aw sweetie :( Things are rather rocky still, yuck :( Too many pricks and bastards around you, hun. You ne4 a firefighter's hose to blow them all away.
*poof*
yvw Aaron :)
no sprite, just a bullet
sorry, crying now... bbl
lol, nah. That would make for more problems. And you don't ne4 any more problems.
I send you a hug, mrP. Crying is good, let it out. And remember you have survived worse.
ok, have my head wrapped up a little better... thank you sprite. *breathe*
is there any words in the grid today that have an X in them?
Just one, Aaron, a pr4
morning, all!
hugs to mrp.....
won't be on long as we are on the road (well, in a motel, actually), and I want to get back in the car sooon
hi sue. where you now?
hi, scrabs, we are in western Ohio, expect to be at my dad's late this afternoon (assuming i can get my son out of bed)
And where does your father live?
Tell your son he just needs to transfer from bed to back seat of car.
He lives in Millington, NJ, I think it's about 8 hours from here
,,, tell him there are cute girls in the pool
My youngest sister lives in Bergen county, close to NJ-NY stateline.
lol, dos, I think he's done with girls for a while, we were at a hearing yesterday where he decided to drop his request for an order of protection against the girl he dated for the past 4 years - she is totally nuts
ah, Frank was living in Bergen county when we met in 1968 :-)
and now I had better hit the shower and rouse the kid, see you all in a bit
And I must leave for work. Bye.

not seeing it, more help pls
Starts with a prefix meaning "inside"
ok
Wireless whacked out. Thanks for the stats on the 10. NBT and NBS
still not getting the 10, is it a word I would know
Probably not Peri. Add a middle part that means foot to that prefix, then add a suffix at the end.
ok,I am trying :)

Yay Peri!

Good morning, all.
good morning everyone:)
howdy judi et al
hi folks, quick question (i hope), Crossy...when leaving a vehicle for an extended time, should it have a full tank of gas in it?
it should and it should also have a fuel treatment added
fuel stabilizer can be found at any wal-mart
what kind of fuel treatment?
and how much of the additive do i add?
fuel stabilizer..come in 1/pint contaioners, add to tank then fill
out of curiosity, what defines "an extended period of time" ?
1 container
over 4 months
gas, breaks down after 4 months if not treated
ahh, ok. mine doesnt sit nearly that long. :)
Good morning!
and if longer than that, the cart should be put on jacks
howdy car
i'm not sure, eva. i wont be driving this vehicle again. i don't know how fast it will sell, but it could be months.
it is my business as it were.i am the fuel industry lol
:-) that's why i asked you, crossy!
Hmmm...OK....I just picked up my jeep yesterday after not driving it for about a month. The steering is a little jerky. What do you suggest?
so,if you are activly selling it just add the stabilizer.if it looks like long term add stabilizer and put it on jacks
okay, must go check out kelly blue book for a price range.
check tire pressure and front end alignment
OK! Ty Crossy!
and power steering fluid
Hi kids. I am waiting for next patient to show up after have 2 no-shows in a row.
brb,must check laundry
Hi Scrabs!
mornin, Dr Scrabs.
Annoying about the no-shows, but glad you are here!
Uh oh. Apparently those rumors we started about you have reached your patients, Scrabbs. ;-p
I am at the Indian Reservation Clinic--no-shows are common sadly.
That is too bad, Scrabs.
LOL Judi!
"That mean Dr Scrabbler doesn't prescribe antibiotics even when mothers YELL at her."
My AC in my car works just intermittently now and an evaluation revealed that I need a new compressor. Job will cost $1000. Ughhhhhhh.
Ouch, Scrabbs.
What does the tenner start with?
I never looked at Word Stats.
thank god a dr who does not just shovel out antibiotics when someone sniffles...we are darn tired of our hospitals being locked down all the time due to one super bug or another
I stand firm but boy, some parents get downright hostile and demanding.
my dr will often go back to sulfa based meds when needed
You could always keep a supply of Tic Tacs handy, Scrabbler. Free sample "prescription".
just got word from my mother: dad had a peaceful night with no more bleeding. doctor wont be seeing him until this afternoon, so he will remain in ICU for now.
lol,love it,tic-tac placeobs
Oh that is good news Eva. How are you holding up?
People do not understand what a normal cold is. A cold makes you feel yucky for 5-7 days and then you gradually get better. Antibiotics don't change the course. And yellow snot is normal as a cold progresses.
Did they find a cause for his bleeding, Eva??
prayers for your da eva,and let us know when you get word
Has he remained in the hospital for all of these weeks?
much better today than yesterday. still feeling stressed, but not on the verge of tears today...heh
I am keeping you and your family in my prayers. {{hugs}}
judi: Diverticulosis
scrabs, no, he was rushed to hospital late sunday night with extensive rectal hemorrhaging.
((Eva + Dad + family)). Stay informed. Ask lots of questions.
Ah. Isn't that perforations in the intestines or colon?
Well that diagnosis is better than colorectal cancer.
yesterday morning they airlifted him near me, and mom called. i dropped everything + headed there.
took all day for them to find where he was bleeding from. they gave him 8 units of blood and were amazed he was conscious.
Scary day, Eva.
judi, yup.
just googled it..much better than my mind was thinking for sure!
Whoa! Did he need surgery?
scrabs, they were getting closer to it, but thankfully, no. had he started bleeding again overnight, he would have been rushed in for emergency surgery.
I should think they would have to do a bi-section of the affected area.
Does he have diverticulitis too? (infection) Did he perforate his colon?
they did the one procedure where he had the dye + the x-rays, but they couldnt find the source. then they did a colonoscopy, and i think that how they found it.
FYI: doodee is not a word.
scrabs, yes. he didnt before, but thats what they found.
Your Dad went through hell yesterday and he is very lucky he is here today.
"ooph" should be a word as well.
but do not forget the extinct bird scrabbs
I am a do4 for not seeing that do4.
i know. even the doctors said they were surprised he was still there. and not only that, but conscious and totally lucid -- bitching and moaning even. heh
He wants to live!
well,a pain for sure but i am relieved over what it could of been, your da is going to get tired of being scoped and will be eating so much fibre,he will fart dust.i am sure they will want all future stools soft and nary a bit of constipation
with the way he takes care of himself, sometimes that actually surprises me. but he does! besides, mom + dads 50th is a week from today. she told him hes not allowed to kick off until after that. heh
LOL at "farting dust."
thought you would like that scrabbs:))
i guess it was a mystery to them, because he didnt present with the usual symptoms. he wasnt in dire pain. frankly, he just didnt feel so great on sunday, and his left side was tender when you pressed on it. but other than that, he had no complaints...yknow, until he started bleeding half to death.
I will warn all parents now when I advise high-fiber di**s for their constipated kids. "Your child will be farting dust soon. That is the sign that enough fiber is being given."
We see SO many constipated kids because these days most kids eat crappy food--too many carbos.
when i was a kid, they had to put me on constipation meds. i basically just didnt LIKE pooping. it made me feel icky.
we use the metamucel(sp) fibre suppliment as well as dietary
Yes, many kids hold their poop in for days, even 2 or more wks! Belly x-rays show amazing amounts of poop. Parents are stunned. "But he poops everyday." Yep, but not enough for what's going in.
"MiraLax" (polyethyleneglycol 3350) is the #1 product used for kids.
how would the little buggers like a tortous colon? lol
Egad! Out with the bad, I say. Although, fiber seems to have the opposite affect on me. Damn plumbing anyway.
Today's theme : rectums, poop, fiber and consitpation.
i remember having to drink the thick white stuff. mom + dad mixed it with a little milk + sugar to force it down...heh
There is soluble and insoluble fiber. e.g. rice, bananas, apples = constipating.
Probably milk of magnesia, Eva.
Well, this conversation is bound to segway into vomit.
i can still see the big shining tablespoon in my minds eye from when i was a child, brimming with cod liver oil..blech!
that stuff moved the mail!
*gagging*
HELP I need an re 6 and 8 to finish!
got them! done
Yay!
to unclose something again and past tense
i never even knew what a "cod" was but i sure as heck knew the shape and look of that bottle!
Yeah Science!

TMI! TMI! Ix-nay on the eeming-ray!
*nurse has question*
found an 8!
Can't she see you are in "conference"?!?!?
Yeah Crossy!
hows about the 10, crossy?
not yet eva
Alright, I calmed the nurse down. When nurses do phone triage they too often think like anxious moms instead of calm, rational nurses.
Good luck tomorrow SG.
How are you doing Kat?
the 10 is "not the same as" beginning + 2 peas in a *** +the rioters are stealing ***ms randomly
Found the 10. Clueless on how to clue it.
i am dealing with a chronic case of creepydreamitus
..with vowel between "opposite of beginning" and pea container
Stress will do that to you, Carlee. Try a hot bath and some camo tea before bed.
carlee,i am blinded by yer clue..maybe just the stats please
Ty Carlee!
I bet, Carlee. Your mind has a lot to process.
u mean camel pile tea???? I'd rather the creepy dreams or cod liver oil straight thanks
Oh carlee. I am sorry. hang in there. You are going through so much right now. {[hugs}}
I like chamomile tea.
Factoid: Cod is the bait fish they use on Deadliest Catch.
I believe it is our "State Fish" as well.
cod is the "cheap" fish you get at fish and chip shoppes
i like mint tea....or catmint tea..( which does help sometimes) ...i dont have trouble getting to sleep tho...its the staying asleep cus the dreams are not nightmares...they are just super creepy
then haddock,then everyones favorite hallibut
and its full of worms...i will NEVER EVER eat cod
Haddock is best for fish & chips.
hello all
crossy loves halibut
when they fillet the cod...the meat is moving from the worms in the tissue
stats for that ten please, the clue is beyond me for now
( just an FYI to all you cod lovers)
en 10, 91
ty
*gagging* again.
Good morning all
ur welcome judi :oD
A seller is also known as a v****r + peas are housed in a p** + some tax reports don't want you to ***mize
Lately, some local resturants have taken to offering fileted skate. I tried it once. It's nasty. Bottom-sucking slimey ooky mess.
I have to run. Have been ignoring my work and now it is terribly piled up. I hope you all have a great day...with your bowels and wormy cod and all!
ty carlee,got the ten
bye car.ee
LOL! Bye, car.ee!
made a mistake: peas are housed in a ***
works for me, ty erda
Hi Erda and Owl
colourful bunch of icons together atm
hello scrabs
Is the en10 related to an en8?
YW, Temple Owl, Scrab
( i love this one shopkeeper on bbc who is describing the kids looting as feral rats... )
*grossed out about Kat's description of cod; glad I gave up seafood over a yr ago*
That's an en7 and yes.
Many children these days ARE feral. Pediatricians increasingly use the term "feral child." Scary & sad.
i love the british manner of description...
i love good fish,speckled trout,pickerel(walleye) halibut etc
oops,brb semi-poof
I just plain love a British accent.
Me loves the fishes too.
i need to get down to the local fish stand here for fish and chips..its an annual thing my daughter and i do... pickeral or perch or white fish ..fresh caught that day with fries and their home made coleslaw
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14449675
there u go scrabs.... is a live coverage of the rioting
TY, I am watching/reading/listening. Yep, anarchist animals.
ok..i just got an email from...my father..THAT is going to take some getting used to ( step mother )
Oh, man. She needs to set up an account in her name.
Oops, a patient has arrived. BBS
Clue for re8, please?
Not closed again
she wouldnt know how
Ty. I've earned a cod smack for that.
hows about the ot5 8?
I don't understand couples who share email accounts.
Ot5/12: not this one, but the ot***.
i have that word, judi. i just didnt wanna use it...heh... im asking for the 8.
Time for another cuppa joe. BBL. *POOF*
Not shallow + ink writing instrument past tense
my dxh and i shared an email
Maybe it's just me Carlee. I'm very independent. I won't even share a checking account with someone.
Eva, how is your Dad this morning?
dxh was incredibly wary about me having anything "private"
so...uxbridge is expecting trouble starting at 4 pm local time ( 11 am edt )
Wary about you having anything private...there is a big red flag.
molly, dad is stable + has stayed so throughout the night. doc will see him this afternoon, so until then, he is still in ICU. all very good news.
oh ..u think molls?????
Glad to hear that Eva, you must be very relieved.
and whilst in ICu he is getting excellent and constant care...
yes. im hoping they keep him as long as possible!
You must have read what i put on Facebook carleekat. I live in Uxbridge. All the shops are shuttered in my area and it's like a ghost town.
ok..gone to split wings as my darling daughter has requested chicken wings...
yes hydra... i did...
why? what is going on today in uxbridge?
It's very scary.
do you have someplace else to stay tonight?
rioting is expected there starting soon
I'm sure I'll be OK as I'm a bit off the beaten track.
i would take the important stuffs and stay elsewhere
I saw a youth going down the road a couple of hours ago with a bottle. He broke the neck off and started swinging it around. He can't have been more than 13.
bloody freaking hell... i loved the pic i have seen of allt he brooms
what is the catalyst for this hydra?
yeap...feral rats
Hydra, you keep safe.
morning
sorry,i am not a newshound..what is all this rioting over?
The police shot a young man who they say had a gun and was shooting at them. It all kicked off from there.
that was in london. are you near london?
well..did he have a gun? if so why the riot? if not,a big investigation is in order, not a riot
I'm not sure I understand that. Things like that happen in inner cities all the time.
Yes, Temple. West London,. up the road from Ealing.
morning...glad to hear your dad is doing better Eva
morning...glad to hear your dad is doing better Eva
it is indicative a deep social problem that is comprised of many factors....disinfrancahised youht....a social system that has raised a youth in the poorer neighbourhood a false sense of entitlement, lack of jobs.... issues from too much immigration to the country...
clue for the de7 please?
It doesn't often happen in London, Molly.
oh i am sorry, it is a terrible thing. mob rule
ahh,so a whole melting pot of issues
You're right, carlee.
a lack of parental control..the govt raising the youth...
Again, I don't understand. All of those things exist in every major city in the US.
sorry...big lag in chog here
there is no ONE issue..and then the mamby namby softy govt..and we police by consent attitude fo teh current govt
and all it takes is one police shooting to touch it off. the facts do not matter.
di7...sorry

What you would call someone on a food program, if you had a lisp.

bye TO Congrats
New York City has a population of 18 million and 800 languages are spoken there. That is much larger than London and I don't recall the kids in New York ever rioting like this.
they do not riot they just get the guns out
the first 11 weeks of 2010 saw over 100 murders in nyc
there are diff policing methods in new york comp to england...

toronto needs an overhaul... the international gangs are awful...i would not want to live in toronto...and london is gettign bad..a street i used to walk on late at night you now get shanked just for walking down the street now
yes, many of the big cities need work
and london used to be such a nice place...

it still is... but its rougher now
i think london, much like dc and other major cities, is still a nice place. but you only want to go to certain areas, at certain times.
hamilton was always worse than london...

*~*~*POMOM TOSS*~*~*for cyber
ok...wings are split and the LONG battering process has begun
how does one split wings? *curious lurker look*
oh... the wing was whole..3 joints...but when u fry up chicken wings to remove and discard the tip..and split into a drumlet and the other piece....
so out came my trusty cleaver..and i split them :)
i was cutting bones
{{stiddy}}
oh, I see! thanks carlee (never ate buffalo wings)
(((carlee)))
okay, I am still yawning, and should get my act together I suppose. It has been very UN-sunny this week (again) and my energy level is very low.
ah...no..i wouldnt imagien u would... nnow i am dusting them with a mixture of flour, seasoning salt and cayenne and the natural juices of the chicken...make the batter...takes about 3 hours of dusting every 15 misn or so....flipping...dusting... and then fry them up... then...in a pot...u melt butter with franks hot sauce and seasonned salt...and when the wings are still sizzling from frying....you douse with the sauce...it snaps and crackles...and bobs ur uncle..buffalo wings
wow. that sounds really easy! I wonder if my BBQ boy would like something like that.
we are on cloudy day #2...
they are easy....just time consuming..but if u are home... its not a big deal...and probably...they are way better than any buffalo wing u get at a restaurant
3 hours of dusting???
good morning molly! feeling all better, I hope?
u dust them..walk away....dust..walk away...
Hi Stid. Much better, thanks.
it takes about 30 sec to dust them...then walk away for 15 mins
am sorry you werent feeling well molls
Just a nasty cold, it's on the mend. Never heard of making buffalo wings that way.
it makes a super crispy but very thin batter
i just lay them on a cookie sheet and put the flour in a seive...
sieve* i use loads of cayenne in it too....
shall i take pics of the process and post?????
mmmm. yes please, carlee. I have to head out now though. and the sun has finally started to come out.
they wont be ready until 4 ish..so will just post a whole separate album on how to do the wings step by step
Hi

Hi Harry and Samy and Aaron
O I know what I did tonight. I dyed my hair

Hi herinfernallady, what colour did u dye ur hair
hi herein
Red Mahogany except object on box is lighter than my hair. now I look like I ahve no eyebrows
back from the bakers, with fresh kaisers, pannini,s,cheddar loaf and onion buns:)...bread is crossy,s weakness
LOL, what colour was it before U dyed it red mahogany
hi crosshair
Blonde.
Which probably explains the didn't work factor. Hi Crossie
howdy aaron
why didnt u like the blonde, blonde looks nice on nearly everyone!
howdy herin
How many words have u guys got, and how many points?
I got bored. I am natural blonde
I hate it when people say dizzy blonde it annoys me so much, why do people think that all blondes are stupid, it gets me so enraged
nOpe Usually i am ditzy
lol easy aaron, life is too short to go nuclear over a hair colour
sorry, what else have u been doing today?
cleaning,dishes,laundry,groceries..day s off are great:/
crossy can come clean my kitchen next.... i am being a lazy unmotivated slug today
lol,by the time i get mine all done i will be too pooped to move
haha, Ive been sitting around all day on the PC

gn herin
It is heading to 3am here
nite herin...and warren jeffs was just sentenced to life in prison
Carlekatt. I see you were talking about Toronto. Are you there?
re warren jeffs, OMG that is WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
no...am not in toronto..i live abut 300 km west of toronto
( 200 mi )
crossy is 250 km north of toronto..give or take.i thin k carlee is the closest babbler to me
crossy, carlee and toronto make almost an equalateral triangle on the map
almost
kinda...sorta def as crow flies but not as the road drives
carlee has NO idea what to have for lunch
carlee is hungry..but food is so..me
meh*
( and 9 stoopid words to find )
8
right now crossy is eating home made club house sarnies with romaine lettuce fresh tomatos, chuncks of chicken breasts, five year old white cheddar, mayo cracked pepper..and that unmentionable apple wood smoked delicacy
i have had sarnies for 4 of last 6 meals...as good as it sounds...
crossy has a steak and mushroom pie out for dins if you wish to come over,,,
been making toasted hoagies with cheddar and pastrami....tomato romaine and digon....and sour pickles on the side
What is the difference between a sandwich and a sarnie?
am making home made buffalo wings
its the same..just a diff name
like grilled cheese is a cheese toastie
maybe a cheese toastie....<thinking>
mmm buffalo wings...
( am taking pic of the proces carlee uses for buffalo wings....they are SOOOO yummm )
add a nice thin slice of smoked turkey to your cheese toastie
( was thinking thin slice of onion....but the turkey works too ...or...both )
toddling to kitchen to make a cheese toastie
i love some nice thinly sliced tomato in my grilled cheese
Hmm, Carlee is postin in the first person.
Or posting
crossy has heard about this first person thing
i usually opt for the royal "we"
Eva, it's a good time of year for anything with tomato
<--- Hopes no one starts muttering "my precious".
yes! our tomatos are out and they are beautiful no more american tomatos ripened in a truck on I 95 lol
if its a fresh-from-the-garden tomato (meaning someone ELSES garden, since i have a black thumb) i like them simply sliced with a little salt.
It is my dream to one day have a greenhouse and grow fresh tomatoes all year long.
now a personal greenhouse would be interesting..but alas, crossy hasa black thumb
grrr i ha** the new irs musack
hi all--on hold so will disappear suddenly
hello everybody
Hi Ruby
(((RUBY)))
nbt
i want to get a musak set up so i can put THEM on hold when they call
I'm putting a bushel of home-grown tomatoes, beautifully ripe, in the PB. Help yourselves!
what i really really heat is when they call and put you on hold..i just hang up
ohhhh..yummy new tomatoes....am heading to market tomorrow for tomatoes
*adds shaker of sea salt*
this is only the second time (in 14 summers), that I've had to many I've been giving them away
yes, they are beautifull carlee and 2.50 a basket:))
carlee and crossy, do you watch Flashpoint? It makes Toronto look soooo beautiful
so* not to
sorry no ruby,i do not watch much television, like grouch marx once said "television makes me smarter, because whenever it is turned on,i go find a book to read"
this is a very strange summer, surprisingly cool, rain at night and sunshine in the afternoons
When I have room to grow that many tomatoes, I'm getting a processor.
groucho*
OK, Miss Molly, I have a processor, what do I do with the tomatoes?
i blanch and freeze them or make spaghetti sauce and freeze it
there are only 6 plants
we made the mistake once of planting 4 beefsteak tomato plants...
of course i would have have a freezer unlike now
we were up to our eyeballs in tomatos!
we could not give them away fast enough
or make gumbo starter and freeze it or make salsa and can it
my refridgerator is dying....I am reluctant to put anything else in the freezer
gumbo? lol,not a average dish here
what is gumbo starter? I thought gumbo had to have okra, which you can't get here
If you can't freeze Ruby you can process the tomatoes for sauce or salsa.
but i shall make a batch of spagetti sauce i am thinking
you can use gumbo file which you might be able to buy on line--a jar lasts pretty much forever
You can jar sauce and salsa like you jar your jam.
OK, that's tomorrow's AM project
u can put in ziploc and freeze
this years harvest is so fine so far,i am seriously thinking bout getting a dozen or 2 canning jars and putting some stuff up
hmmm..cheese toasties.....
before my husband died i canned all sorts of things including peach chutney--really stretches the old budget
aaah, I know, tomato chutney. I'll have to look up a good recipe
my problem is storage of stuff
mine, too
chilli sauce
<----Does not put filè or okra in gumbo
*looks out from behind kitchenware stacked in livingroom* i don't know what you mean carlee
i still have 4 cartons of spices setting inmy family room waiting for a home
okra is one of the few vegetables I like and it's unavailable here
I highly recommend the Reynolds Seal Vac for freezing stuff.
can't you import the seeds and grow it ruby?
oh i love my vac seal bags i bought it at a garage sale years ago!
I actually tried that the first two years with okra, yellow squash and jalapeno peppers. No success.
The frozen food stays fresher and removing the air from the bag gives you more room in the freezer.
I was just lucky with the tomatoes; I am terrible growing other vegs
*looks for gun to shoot self between irs musack and construction noise*
why has the dog decideed my bed is OK to get up on????my room is OFF LIMITS
and we have hazelnuts for the first time growing on a tree I thought was just decorative
some years things grow and some years they don't -- don't let a couple of years of failure discourage you
cool ruby
Um...close the door to your room?
one year, all the tomatoes in the valley's potagers turned black
hehehe...just had a funny image of when jmc is off hold to continue singing the musak song at top of screetching lungs to whomever answers the phone
hahaha carlee
and a close neighbor had hers turn black this year, so I gave her some of mine
pretend she was rocking out!!!!!
that was nice of you ruby
( he can open the door molls..no idea how
and I gave her a little jar of blackberry jelly, although that was really for me
they used to have classical music for 20 years the same three pieces
how big is this dog, carlee, and does he have opposing thumbs?
now it is just random musicky sounds
smart doggie
55 pound all black 18 week old german shepherd
here jmc,,this is just for you....
http://theoatmeal.com/comics/customer_ service
he gets out...we used to close him in the bathroom when we went out...no point now..he gets out
how big will he be full-grown?
that is very funny; my chows would never figure that out
daddy is 110 and mommy is 85 so ur guess as good as any
VERY big!
WOW!
fortunately, they don't get on the furniture
he steps up onto furniture...no jumping...
I give up with 39 to go
he sounds very cute. What is his name?
panzer rub
panzer*
my son's nic name in hockey was tank... as puppy is a german shepherd....
my husband had a German shepherd named Panzer, but before I met him
good night everybody, see you tomorrow!
gn ruby
{{crossy}}
nite ruby..and...that is kinda cool....
yes, very cool
mine is all black with a white line on his chest and white toes
I'm in love with a Malinois named Capone who looks a lot like a black shepherd
Well, unless the dog has opposible thumbs, your door needs fixing. He's obviously just pushing it open.
no..he opens....the doors
and it opens IN
he may be op**ing it with his te***
he cant push it....it opens towards him
we have the kind of doors with horrizontal handles and I'm sure Panzer could open them very easily
Round door knobs, or levers?
{{molly}}
time for a slide bolt at the top of the door
mine are round knobs
Very good idea Cross. And Carlee, you should take that dog on the road.
he doesnt get into trouble now...it was when he was bitty and couldnt hol dhis bladder..the floor was ceramic tile should he have an accident
a dog like that needs tons of excecise
strap on the roller blades every evening and take him for a 2 hour run
i take him for 3 or 4 3+ mi walks a week
took him to a local nature trail last night
good stuff:)
either that or your couch becomes his new chew toy lol
carlle, have you ever seen the tom hanks movie "turner and hooch"?
great movie for large dog owners;)
he has a good rope toy...his tiki...his ducky ( that quacks ) and an old ball cap of my sons...and a kong
yeap....he doesnt drool
those kong chewies are great

re8/50 is the past tense of "not close" again
tx Molly for helping
Well, can you imagine - hit the wall and just couldn't see them. Thanks Hego and MollyL

inner+foot+mineral ending
hi une
no shame in asking for a clue for that!
ty!
Hey everybody :-). Looks like its all kicking off again in the UK - trouble in Manchester and West Midlands. Sheesh!
hi soodle
Hey Jmc :-)
pix in the news are really scary, soodle :-(
i worry about the riots
nbs
I don't even think its anarchy - its just youths taking the opportunity to loot & set fire to places. Its dreadful.
well i suspect the high unemployment rate is not helping anything
Indeed.
I agree Soodle. And hey, unemployment is high everywhere.
very high in my household
:-D
Let's go looting JMC : P
just watched some depression era movies on tv and they were very familiar
*grabs a baseball bat and a bag*
Still no luck on the job front, Jmc?
i am ready molls
*Puts doo-rag on head*
no and i am officially not employed anymore
the doo-rag does nothing for you my dear
: (
but i have another prospect--although since it is in london it is not looking quite so good at this moment
good grief, jmc!
*gives molly a stocking cap* go with the traditional molly
wow, jmc...but, could be exciting ; )
*Puts on baggy jeans with boxers showing at the top*
well - we are perplexed by the mentalness of it all
well it would involve a lot of travel and you know how i ha** to travel! ;-)
mentalness?
<----- Imagining tomorrows headlines... 'Hordes of marauding Babblers terrorise the world'......... Hi Kazz :-)
*Ponders the idea of JMC and I being a horde*
the so called rioting - i think it kids wanting free stuff and deciding to look big - rubber bullets will stop the little buggers
we could cover most of the world too
yikes kazz!
Poetic licence, Moll. (Tabloid headlines!)
(do you think soodle is saying we are fat enough to be a horde?)
FW!
Well, as for the looting youth in London, I am reminded of the old granny phrase..."an idle mind is the devil's playground"
whooo hooo kje!
hmm - can i join - i am very fat and would be a good addition to a horde
could we be pirates? I have juast got some kinky pirate boots
BABBLE BROADS BUST UP DC - NEWS AT ELEVEN!!!
Classic case of the power of the press. The horde is growing by the minute.

Excellent choice matey. Now, avast and let our first stop be The Tiny Jewel Box. Loot ahoy!
soodle's timbers*
oooo i always wanted to go there molly!
but we should stop by torrid's too
JMC, I have a "THE" day planned for when I am rich and famous. It starts at THE spa, middles at THE Tiny Jewel Box and ends at THE Palm.
no pick some place better than the palm--it aint what it used to be
go to nora's that place is so expensive now i can't afford an appetizer
MOLLYL!!! Perish the thought that you should ever aspire to be rich and famous!!
Or even rich....
hard to imagine my broke husband proposed to me there
i want to be rich, to hell with famous
Ssssh, since I've never been there, I wouldn't know. I'm partial to any of the Clyde's places though.
well according to a site i have just been to my pirate name is Cap'n Enrico Poopdeck! ;-)

Let me recap..... Fatties, with poopy-pants, dressed up as Cinderella/pirates, swigging rum, looting plus size shops. Have I missed out on anything?

Bless me Father, for I have sinned. I purchased lottery tickets today. *Makes the sign of the cross*
did you win?

The drawing is tonight. Still manifesting my abundance.
Oops. Silly me. Fatties, with poopy pants, dressed up as pirates or cinderella, swigging rum and JD, looting plus size shops, and committing the mortal sin of gambling.
hey, yall. How are you, jmc, soodle, Molly?
well i would hold your lottery ticket in the light but gambling is against my religion
Hey DC
hi dc
In a confession box....
0:-)
DC - you have stumbled into a parallel world....
yay for alternate dimensions. oops, cat needs something, brb
]:-)
well, found two mousies atop the cabinet, if not the one i initally threw
you threw a mouse?!?!?!?!?
*shudder*
You threw a mouse on top of a cabinet, and then found two??? Was it a pregnant mouse?
toy ones, felted in vaious colours
i threw a purple, and found a blue and a pink
*whew*
I never saw a purple mouse, I never hope to see one.
it split in two soodle warned you this was an alternate universe
i heard the purple hit the boxes of pasta stored up there, but did not find it.
Oh Boy. Now I can release my breath. (I didn't realise I was holding it)
maybe if you throw the blue and pink mouses they will turn back into the purple one
ROFL!!!
This is starting to sound like Elephants On Parade.
LOL mayhap, jmc :)
This is starting to sound like the Home for the Bewildered!
whoo hooo elephants on parade!
Listen to DC, who is usually suavely expressing other languages using a backwoods Southern phrase like mayhap. : P
i shot a mouse into the air, where it landed,i know not where...
quit shooting mouses
I saw a mouse, Where? There on the stair! Where on the stair? Right there! A little mousie with clogs on! Well I declare! Going clip-clippity-clop on the stair. (If you can't beat 'em - join em!)
you mean phrases like "ustacould" as in "i no longer play the pianna, but i ustacould"
too many mouses in here i am leaving to some place with fewer rodents
*poof*
Bye Jmc :-)

favorite slow songs, people, ideally at least on waltz?
For what DC?
i am back - after being amazed by this ridiculous ness of thie rioting - they are trying to break into jessops on manchester and there are no police about
wedding reception
Not a waltz, but Unforgettable by Nat King Cole.
hi, kazz. I'm told by people in Birmingham and Newcastle that even there they're boarding up shops
oh, nice, one.
Wait, how young is this crowd?
it seems bad all over
mid to late teens - inner city madness
insane
does anyone have a clue for the re 6 after the one for to try again
Could I Have This Dance by Anne Murray might constitute a waltz step.
And Grow Old Along With Me by Mary Chapin Carpenter is beautiful at a wedding.
re 6 -- color and spinning toy
thanks Babbblerabble
ty, BabbleRabble
Whee fireworks for me - back to the horrible news and then bed - cya all tomorrow
congrats, kazz, and may you sleep well
i'd forgotten how lovely that Anne Murray one is, ty Molly.
there has to be a happy medium for the english bobbies between no gun s at all and lets say texas, where it seems kids get their first handgun on their 11th birthday lol

Good evening to my fellow babblers! How is everyone?
By the way, congratulations to all the finishers! YAY!
howdy min and welcome to the grid
Hi Min
hello babblers
I am always intrigued by what people choose to dance to for their first dance at a wedding reception.
howdy onyx
epee
oops
Hello onyx! How are you doing? Welcome to the puzzle
we danced to peter paul and marys the wedding song
Oh and that reminds me DC, if you are still around, Ribbon In The Sky by Stevie Wonder is gorgeous.
we had a great age mix at the party and was a good choice
hey minver been popping in and out spent the day cleaning... oh the things you'll find in a 17 yr old's room tucked behind the books and under things!!!!
hody, onyx and minver and crossy
i'll give it a listen, thx, molly
our son has been in charge of his own room cleaning sice 15 or so.we just borrow a sniffer dog and send it in once every 6 months or so
hey dc
howdy dc
For obvious reasons, my boys didn't want me cleaning their room once they hit "a certain age" and I have no interest in cleaning for men who are old enough to clean for themselves.
yeah well cross, i usually take that tack but i'v e not seen the floor there in about 6 months so i just started collecting the laundry and kept going.
oh, and i have some chocolate pappardelle, how should i sauce it?
indeed molly.we make sure he has laundry change for the machines down the hall and access to garbage bags, pine sol and something nice and anti-bacterial
Chocolate pasta?
indeed, molly.
Raspberry sauce?
i leaning toward a creme anglaise or cinnamon vanilla
raspberry could be quite nice :)
Those both sound good too DC.
i'm jealous. on a diet. sounds yummy
i could do a lightly cinnamoned creme anglaise with raspberry.
chili and chocolate is my down fall
how bout a nice penne ala vodka?
does not match chocolate pappardelle ;)
or a fettuchini al simone
hi folks
do the noodles really taste of chocolate or does it just color them?
Heya Welki
ugh@ choc noodles
contains chocolate, won't know how they taste till cooked.
make it simple, seain ... vanilla ice cream and berries
Hello welki! How are you doing? Welcome to the puzzle
sounds good welki, but make it a nice fr vanillia
it''s seain, crossy .. you have to know he'd have a delish vanilla :)
and a buncha vanilla beans to make what we desire
<-- desires a mochatini to go with the chocolate pasta
lol welki
did you ever try that recipe? i think i posted it for you last year
which recipe is that? I'm not recalling.
the cat has been all about fetch today.
i use van gogh .. 1 part espresso vodka, 1 part dutch chocolate vodka, 1 part vanilla absolut, 1.5 parts white creme de cocoa .. stir and serve (chill if you want it straight up, but i serve it over ice)
a welki original :)
Hey again. A moments silence. please, for my battery which died a short while ago :-). Seain - the wedding song....I'd go for something romantic/classic. Wonderful Tonight for example.
ohh a desert drink..does it come with diabetic meds? hehe
<--- Gets the gickies at the thought of vodka and chocolate
i take it with metformin and novolog
<---- would like an invitation to Welki's next party....
i turned my friend on to this song and she played it at her wedding .. cannot believe it (iris dement and john prine, ""in spite of ourselves"")
when i mix my drink all flames must be off and anti-static rules are in order lol
sounds yummy, adding to the official file :)
molly .. chocolate and coffee and vodka .. you've never had a black russian? very similar in taste, but much lighter
john prine rocks.him and steve goodman were buds
Soodle, my band buddies have had Wonderful Tonight requested so many times, they flat out refuse to play it anymore.
R's Rocked! 7 left
<-- gets all googly at steve goodman''s, 'the dutchman
Welki, I don't mix liquor with anything. I don't drink it that often, but when I do, I drink it ice cold and straight up.
as it should be drunk:)
pooed is not a word? really?
Welki..... Thats MY song. I sing it when vocal chords are well lubrucated. I just love it. I didn't know it had crossed the
i think it's poohed
Hic...Atlantic.
*shrug* i like it straight up, mixed, on the rocks, out of the bottle, in a dixie cup ....
yes, liquor is one's friend, agreed :)
in a mug,a stien,a shallow basin,in a hub cap,from a ladies stilleto heel...
*Hands Welki a cut crystal glass to replace the Dixie Cup*
bonus .. straight alkeehawl has no carbs!
Have you heard Liam Clancy singing The Dutchman? Its on YouTube.
ohhhh... waterford, my favorite :)
will fall in a faint if i listen to it .. hang on :)
A treat in store for you Welki... I envy you listening to it for the first time...
ha! he looks like tom paxton in this vid!
*Imagines Soodle liquored up, bellowing The Dutchman*
Tam Paxton = A Liam Clancy wannabe!
see if you can find tom rush singing "'maggie,' soodle .. grab the kleenex ... and arty traum singing, ''leave this world behind''
psst, i think paxton is older
Oooh no, Moll. You couldn't bellow The Dutchman. It requires maudlin intensity!
*goosebumps* (but i think i'm partial to the original)
Ya never heard Soodle warbling it.... neither a dry eye nor a dry pair of pants in the house P-)
Speaking of Irish singers, Soodle, did you say you watched "Brothers & Sisters"? Did you catch the episode where Luke McFarlane sang The Parting Glass acapella? It was gorgeous.
would have liked to hear michael peter smith singing it
No, Molls, I never seemed to get into Brothers and sisters. I hope to get the Box Set and take a day off someday, and wallow in it.
Well, there is a so so version of that on YouTube. The boy can sing, and he sang that one well.
Thank you, Welki & Molls. Humming as I prepare for the boudoir :-)
:)
And so saying, I will toddle off. I wasn't in the best of humor this evening, but, as usual, my Babble buddies cheered me up. Thank you, one and all. Nite nite. :-)

picked up three different vodkas, a english rootbeer vodka called "three olives" a chocolate vodka called "360" in a beautiful glass stoppered embossed green bottle and my usual poison:)
Congratulations JenMO16 on fireworks! Hooray for U
Congrats Jen on fireworks!
yaa for jen!
Hello stidgmere! How are you doing? Welcome to grid.

Hi minvery, just plugging away at the grid and keeping warm in our gray, cool environment.

crossy checks his deoderant
maybe i have stinky socks....
i know!..crossy puts out a chocolate fondue fountain and piles of fresh strawberries and died fruit...

hi all
Crossy, I think it is your hair....:)
my hair?...mmm..
howdy peri
crossy, wish you lived closer to me I would give you my root beer vodka. I have the brand you bought and I don't care for it. I like root beer and I like vodka but
the root beer vodka doesn't work for me. I Love chocolate but not sure about chocolate vodka
it was just a change peri..moist of my vodka tends to be the kind that can run vehicles and peel paint or sterilize wounds lol
right now my main vodka is prince igor black label at 45%
what kind is thata crossy? I might need to try some :)
used to be smirnoff blue label but it is hard to find
never heard of that brand, is it sold in the US?
I think you told me about smirnoff black label once crossy
smrinoff blue label is very nice, maybe ask if your store can order it
and i have been debating the premium vodkas like ketle one
I tried grey goose once it was okay
many rave about grey goose vodka but it fals flat for me
have not tried ketel on tho
snap
no tim tams for periwinkle :(
ketle one is going to be the next one i try
I thought I was the only one who felt that way about gray goose.
let me know about ketel one, crossy
naw,it is a follw the flavour of the month crowd sort of vodka..was not impressed
i shall peri
bye for now
many people never realize a good vodka has depth and nuances
tc
anyone here?
nope:)
thought it was just me:)
ok
i just popped on
i was pounding away in my garden of time game a bit
took puppy for a walk along lake but had to cut it short b/c of a storm
rain coming here as well.hour ago we took kitty for a walk as well
am done all the challenges....and all the levels...just going back and finishing the 2 stars in the last 4 or 5 levels
Hello! I'm here. Just 3 words left to find.
hi jacs
all quiet in your neck of woods tonight jacs?
i have a few odd stars to go here and there on prev levels and am working on the aussie wonder atm and still have yet to do the knight wonder
howdy jacula
am done them all...
figure i will get it near level 50-52 by the time i have everything
i kinda wish they didnt change the "level" of wonders b/c took longer for me to level up the way iwas doing them...
Carlee - there has been some trouble in the city centre (12 miles away) but the police were more on top of it tonight. Came a bit close last night, though.
Hi crossy!
well..1600 police versus 600 i should hope its quieter
indeed.once i have all the wonder and all the stars on all levels, then i will cherry pick the best extras to match each wonder and lay them all out correctly
oh...u mean the way i have all mine :p
with my 1 of everything :p
lol,well..we shall see...
i still want to maximize space/vs points
<--- Has no clue what those two are talking about. Must be some Facebook game.
i have space left over....and yes...it is molls...
Carlee - I was talking about Birmingham, not London. Most of our police are occupied in B'ham & The Black Country.
i will not waste a slot on something that only has 50 rep points for example
oh..ok.. well..as i have never been to england..i suck at UK geography
Must be scary there Jac.
Molly - yes, it is.
matters not carlee, you can get anywhere from everywhere in under 4 or 5 hours i bet
Crossy - more or less, yes.
i pray that all my U.K babbler friends stay safe
Sadly, I think these looting/burning riots are just the tip of the iceberg -worldwide.
i would love to go back to england and see what i have missed.not the cities mind you but a nice quiet shire somewhere where there are more sheep than people, lots of dales and valleys and and no one ever locks the doors
You could be right Jac. People are getting fed up with the sad state of affairs in lots of countries.
GOT MY LAST WORD! I would have said 'fireworks', but there's enough of that over here at the moment.:-(
yaa for jacula!!!!
*Quietly congratulates Jac*
Thank you.:-)
meandering old rock walls that go for miles and quaint cottages that are not a day over 400 years old
Can I assist anyone with clues?
cough..sorry wife and i are both reading herrit lol
herriot*
Crossy - I guessed you were thinking back to the 1940s/50s. LOL. Not many places left where people don't lock their doors anymore - sad to say.
Not me Jac, thanks anyway.
he desrbibes things in such detail ,you can almost smell the heath and heather and feel the wihd cascading over the hills and dale and in yer face
and smell the sheep droppings lol
and the smell of sheep sh*t! LOL

and how 'nice' it is to have your arm nice and warm up a cow's lady parts on a cold night in a draughty byre on a hill farm...
with your bare belly laying on the cold cobbles
Hi Torg!
Heyas kids ..
Crossy - LOL. You're really into James Herriot right now.
Crossy - your belly is more likely to be laying on a deep litter of straw and sh*t. When it's fresh, it's nice and warm... but it cools rapidly. ROFLOL
trying to put a prolapsed uterus back in
we dont lock here very often
I think we'd better stop, Crossy. We'll be making these good people nauseous.
or straighten out a tangle of heads and necks
lol kk jacula will do
and feet and fetlocks
hey all! carlee -- facebook is behaving STRANGEly and I can't use the chat. LOVELY garden pics, though! :-D
I'll try to log in later and look again, but I saw so many plants I love! Inspiration for next year.
howdy stidmama
hello cross! you would have been proud of stidkid #2 -- he chose his sandwich at the shop based on the fact it had bacon...
Hello stidmama.
My facebook seems to be okay at the moment.
hey Jac! I think you have a different server feeding your location. :-D have been having intermittent issues with facebook all day. Just facebook. *sigh*
anyway, how are you jacula? other than the riots I mean.
Stid - not brilliant, I'm afraid. Me and my son both got made redundant as from 1st August and we learned today that my Other Half will be made redundant in 5 weeks' time. So, no money coming in unless we can all find new jobs.
oh no! (((jac))) I am so very sorry. That SUX.
stid - I was watching a programme about people who work on and in the sea. The internet cables below the sea have a dedicated team that have to go out, locate and repair them when landslips undersea etc., damage them.
I had seen something like that a few years ago, Jac -- fascinating the amount of "behind the scenes" upkeep there is, and a little scary. Have you seen the shows that try to imagine what the world would be like if humans disappeared entirely overnight?
It's quite a job, apparently - located and fixing the cables. No, btw, I'm not thinking of applying for a job in that field. LOL.
stid - the humans disappearing overnight programme. Yes, I've seen that. Nature takes back over very quickly.
ah, too bad. I could see you in a snorkel mask and swim fins, diving down with an arc welder...
I have seen, just in the three years of grad school how quickly even an acre starts to revert. *sigh* SO MUCH to do!
Not really, Stid, since I am claustrophobic.:-(
most of it is going to wait until next summer. This summer has been mostly about the inside of the house. Which is even more entropic than the yard!
I have de8. what is other 8?
oh, I am sorry Jac -- I don't like tight spaces, but fortunately not that severe
don't know doxy, but I have an en 7/10
stid - been doing the same thing here re house and garden (yard). Both have had about 3 years' of neglect for one reason or another.
re 8/50
ty dose
thanks doseffing
did re 6/21 again
will work on it gone
aha! thanks legit!
re8/50 is what Stid and I have been doing re soil in garden and space in house, in a way, doxy.
okay, have clothes to fold, pictures to upload and such, and a supper to plan... I have garlic from my garden, and organic onions, broccoli and green beans. Planning a stir fry! *poof*
'Bye stidmama.
... crossy says " needs bacon" ... cu
I'm off, too, if no one needs any more clues.
Going once...
Going twice...
Going three times...
GONE!
reading back, underwater welding jobs are a pain, you go down in a dry suit and freeze for 2 hour shifts 1 hour rest then 2 hour rest for a total of three 2 hour shifts with 3 hour breaks interspaced for a total of 9 hours.then you go toipside and sit in a pressurized tin can with 5 of your mates for 2 or 3 days smelling each other bad breath, then the next team goes down and you do all the grunt work that a ship demands, and before you know it,it is your turn again
and you get paid a tonne of money crossy....
mm ..many typos, but you get the drift
you get pain
yes,you get paid well
do that for a week or 3,then you get a week at home
and you cannot leave ship except for the most dire emergency
not here....ship is at dock
often if you request to be heicoptered out before your 3 weeks are up,it means your job, unless someone is dying
ahh that is easy then
