i was super strict with my kids because i had a husband with a drinking problem.. 4 kids ... and a full time job.. and an 8 room house to juggle... when they were in their 20's and started having kids of their own each of my girkls came to me and told me what a great mom i was and thanked me for number 1 being tough on them and 2, for always being there for them..... they are all wonderfukl kids and i wear my superbitch hat proudly--- they gave me a pink one !!

I spent a lot of time in N Wales when I was littlre. My mother died when my twin and I were7 and my sister lived in |Portmadoc so we were sent there all every summer hioliday. My brother in law went to Bangor Uni ( before the war!!)
It must have been a nice place to spend your summers, I think I've been to Portmadog a couple of times.
It's near to Portmeirion, which is where The Prisoner (?) was filmed, and my mum insists on us going there when she visits me, haha. There is a nice beach there, actually
It was. If you go again go for a ride on the little railway - it is a lovely trip. And Portmadoc hasnt really changed that much in60 years - tho I suppose you could say that about a lot of Wales!!!
