What I've been told is that you have to grind your own burger to be safe. And sear the meat first before grinding.

We use meat more as a condiment than a main dish, so we tend to buy organic and farmer's market. But that's less practical if you have a family to feed.

Yes I have been around while she has been discussing that. I used to have dreadful trouble with my tonsils right up to my thirties, never got them removed, and believe it or not they disappeared! Atrophied, said the doc. Amazing.

Rib pain is horrible. I have a very high threshold for pain and when I cracked a rib I was miserable.

Actually, you don't have to steam the cabbage leaves. If you cover your baking dish with foil, they will cook soft in the oven. Kind of like not boiling lasagna noodles.
