At first we thought we were skipping gifts totally (because of the wedding, looking for a house), but as the time got closer, we just couldn't skip it totally :)

We are discussing that now. We are financing our balance, and we just got back the appraisal today. We were a lot happier with this one. By refinancing, we could rent it, if it doesn't sell. In the next few weeks, after this one closes (in the next 2 or 3 weeks), we'll sit down to seriously decide what we are doing next. We ARE going to buy a house with no stairs to the master; we just aren't sure about the rest yet. Last year was a real pain in the butt; I would really like to be out of here when we re-list - just not sure if that will be possible.

Once hubby and his buddies rented one to go white water rafting in WVA; the rental part wasn't too bad, but you are right the gas could be high. Definitely worth a shot checking out rentals.

we've done rentals before(mostly condos) in hawaii, hilton head and myrtle beach...better than hotels and usually cheaper to

cybernan,i make a frech toast that would bring a tear to your eye..i start with those jumbo texas toast slices and beat 2 eggs at room temp.now if you do it correctly a single slice of texas toast will soak up 2 eggs each,there is just a dash of fresh ground black pepper in them.i have a old cast iron pan just for french toast and it is butter only for my french toast..comes out twice the thickness and golden brown.now you have a choice for topping,grade a canada #1 light syrup.or a sprinkle of brown sugar and a squeeze of lemon juice or some home mady jam or jelly

The home nurses come every few days and change dressings, using various healing substances such as iodine paste and silver patches and bandages. Quite interesting. Just wish it would hurry up and heal.

Yes, saline cleansing and very gentle removal of dead tissue. The nurses are wonderful.

Hi neil and jilli. Jilli - those silver healing plasters work miracles, I can assure you. I once looped the tip of my finger off with a pair of secatuers whilst trimming Honeysuckle. Those plasters reattached the tip of my finger without stitches. Though, I do have to say that the feeling is not totally back. I get a zizzing every now and again as the nerves try to reattach.
