i must go for a bit - make a coffee and scare the dirt in the living room with the vacuum. No - she lives in her own home and this is the reason why is it difficult because she won't do anything for herself and lies in bed all day

oh, and then my son had an accident with my car and it is only marginally driveable at the moment (at not at all at night as the headlights are messed up) - it will get fixed next week but in the meantime I am getting lots of exercise walking (also a good thing)
there are, nef, but there are bad memories too - I was in a relationship that was very emotionally abusive while I lived there...

no, I dropped the rental coverage a couple of years ago in an effort to save money (I've been hanging on by my fingernails for a long time now)
wow. You sound happier about moving than I'd imagine. I do think that out of the bad; good things happen; and it sounds like that's what you're seeing now
I'll rent a car next week while it's in the shop; in the meantime we can get around town if we have to (it's ok to drive in the daytime but should stay off the highway)

no, he's fine, thank goodness! So it could have been much worse (and the damage is not so extensive that they wrote the car off - that was the other thing I was afraid of, as the car is rather old)
we are talking about moving sometime in the next 2 years. I want the kids to come and take their stuff first; so far they seem to have no interest. So all of the charities that have curb-side pick ups here are profitting each week! :-)

when Aunty died; we took 8 garbage bags of her clothes to a battered womens' shelter here. She always dressed very fashionable; she didn't have any "little old lady" clothes; so they were very happy to get them.

I wasn't sure either (I mean, I knew it was fixable, I just didn't know if it would cost more than the car was worth)
and the insurance company uses the body shop at the Toyota dealer (it is a 2003 Prius) so it should be done well (they understand the car, which is nice)
It's a hard decision with an older car.
well, it's just surface damage, so should fix up just fine (and I can't exactly afford to buy a new car at this point)
