they had (maybe still have) a nice dinner theater in west suburbs of MPLS. Always had 2-3 shows running and rotated the big one through every few years...you could either have dinner and show...or just do the show.

I love those kind of events... nothing better than dinner and a musical. I think it was PBS ... had an Andrew Lloyd Webber special today, so hubby had TV cranked up most of the day. I'll be hearing the songs in my head for days. Phantom in my top 5 favorites.
I didn't care for the movies particularly, but on stage amazing!
we would go maybe once a year for a special occasion.....i agree the live stage shows are great
We have seen that in Chicago twice, London, Indy several times... takes stupendous voices in Phant because of the ranges.

this theater had it's own people, for the most part. Very talented and you would see them do many parts over the years...one of the leading men and leading ladies got married...and they performed(i think) the longest running show of I Do, I do

my daughter and i tried to shower our reacue one once as she stunk, but even with a towel wrapped around her as soon as we took it off in the bath she tries to tip us to bits and got really scared.so we gave up.i wasn't prepared to frighten her anymore.she's suffered enough in her life already!

I come into the grid and find words willy-nilly, then I come back for a more measured look at things. Later, I return to sweep up what's left - and that might take 3 sweeps. Then, I look through the chog for clues. Then I see if the Lickety list is up - always grateful for that for stragglers. I don't use the LicketyPro list, just the normal one. If that isn't available, I look to see if anyone has posted a list before me. But I never copy anyone's list to my bio or BabAnon or post a list in either place until I've finished the grid myself. Then I do my own list by copy, paste, removing 'look up word' and then removing all letters except the first 2. I also make a space between 1st 2 letter groups.

Cos - thanks, but sometimes I do the grid all on my own and sometimes I look to other lists to fin my last few. If I hadn't finished the grid but saw the need for a list and directed someone to another person's list, I would say that I had done so. The thing is, we are all here at different times, have different sets of friends we see at the times we play, and so ALL lists are welcome.
