have done the eyes, not the headache cure -- I have a lot of feverfew that has "naturalized" (sigh) so sometimes I grab a few leaves of that when I have a headache. Usually just the smell of them is enough to fix it, I am pretty sensitive to their medicine.

oh! I don't have nasturtiums yet, but could plants some in with the tomatoes when they are ready for transplant. Great idea!

lol,reading back on borrowing pigs to turn a garden over.we had pigs,and yes they are very,very god at turing a garden over and removing everything that is not dirt..problem is pigs have skin much like us and are very prone to sunburn,so water must be added to a outside pig run as they coat them selves with mud as sun proterctor.problem is now you do not have a garden,you now have a muddy swamp with pigs to the depth of about 4 feet of mud

Hi Crossy, I'm in Yorkshire and YP's were originally cooked in beef fat. Sometimes as a starter, or with roast beef and pots etc. We used to eat leftovers puds with melted butter and sprinked with sugar. I shall be eating YP tonight as you have stirred up my appetite. TY

It has been sunny for almost a week, but today the wind has picked up and there are high icy clouds in the sky. Not that I am complaining about the 24+ degree weather, just that I would prefer it when the fruit need the warmth and sun to ripen.
