There are lots of them here - really big fruit bats (flying foxes) but they're not too popular because they carry the Hendra virus - but that's very rare and comes from touching dead bats - and I wouldn't ever do that!

you might consider a lighter shade as you get older. I went from light brown to light blonde. When I was changing the shade, and several people asked if it was my natural shade, I knew I had the right blond.
I think the sun and the chlorine from swimming do that every few weeks anyway!!!! My natural colour is very dark brown!
I figured I saved $600 a year when I quit coloring it.
I would save something similar - if needs must, I will but we haven't got there yet!
and I'm retired. I think that makes a difference.

I was lucky to fall into the job, I was on the library board and one day the former library director announced she wanted to quit, so I leaped onto it. :)

i've lived in mountainous country most of my life, and people just forget how to drive in wet weather, whether it's snow, ice or rain. they don't plan for the extra time needed, so try to drive fast and end up doing something stupid.

I've finally gone all automatic. and stay home if there is ice. my road is one of the first in the county to be plowed. Most roads are never plowed.
I'm thrilled to be able to stay home now, too, if the roads are bad. I hated having to drive to work on nasty days.

I spend quite a lot of time on facebook but really annoyed someone last week with my innane posts. I was not pleased with them because I just don't read it if I don't want to when others post stuff I don't agree with but I did take their point about the time I spend on there
facebook can really suck you in and take all your time if you let it, i used to spend hours on there too. i rarely bothered with anything that would make waves - things can get out of hand if you're not careful
I was just posting check ins on a pub crawl but obviously it was too much for this person. I spend way too much time on farmville2 at the moment. I never post things about my political views and rarely about my religion as it just causes trouble and you are never going to change opinons as it is such a personal thing
ah the triumverate... sex, politics and religion... very wise to steer clear, you're right, you'll rarely change anyone's mind and farmville's much more fun anyway ;))
I usually give up in spring when it is light enough to work on my real garden :)

He created this character Nancy Boy who all the ladies fell in love with and befriended.. and then he contracted a mysterious illness making a pilgrimage back to Korea to tell off his father and contracted something that "destroyed his liver" and killed him... Lots of sorrow and mourning here from tons of people who fell for this scam.
