don't know, crossy. Cannot access the drive anymore, after the crash.
if it is not encrypted,it can be done cheaply.there are places that do the hard ones but i have heard as much as 200-400 for tough cases.business use this service mostly.i would start with a computer repair shop first though.they have what are call "bench testing units" they can transfer data as well and for cheap if you buy a replacement hard drive there as well

so,a good tower can be had used or new for between 250-500 dollars and a good all in one for 4-500 and a cutting edge tablet for 500 so it is all a matter of preferance and what you want to do with it

Yes, I have, Molly, thanks. Many of those scan claims come from competitors...so they are suspect. I spent two days researching. The company has been around over 20 years and they give all kind of support and help. Not worried at all. If they were wanting to scam people by signing them, don't think they'd make much money getting $40 for the start-up costs, which is very reasonable considering all I get for that including all the benefits. Thanks for being concerned. As I told another friend, I may have been born at night but it wasn't LAST night!

my sympthies, Glant, I've had lots of tooth trouble over the years. can't you go and get an antibiotic prescribed at least? that would help, most dentists won't work on teeth until the infection is under control. but maybe a crown is different? don't know.
I had something similar a few years ago. Antibiotics and root canal work sorted it and saved the tooth.
I've done that at a regular emergency room before.
apparently A & E departments won;t touch anything dental - i asked about getting antibiotics but the phoneline didn;t think that was an option
