puglet, working extra shifts, :( have to do so until son and his wife start paying rent, which won't be until june sometime.
Roll on June!
The last I talked to you Rose, your hubby was serving you eats in the nude---lal
They're meeting friends from Wisconsin there
*giggle* my best friend's name is june as well....the mind picture is nearly killing me with laughter.
LOL!!!!!
lol, puglet. today he is being the most supportive. he is down at my old family home, helping my brothers clean up the mess my mother made of the place.
Is your son living with you Rose as well as your mother-in-law

Night flosey. Sleep well :)
night, dear flosey. sweet sleep, hun
are you the only provider
ouch rose... money issues are the pits
himself was forced to retire a few years ago....just in time actually, as that was when mother mac started to fail. he does draw a pension from his super fund, but i am trying to keep his outgoing costs to a minimum.
*hugs rose*
awww, ta muchly, sprite. love your hugs.
Hugs from me as well but I hope you put a little thought into your own health too
awww, puglet, thanx hun. actually it's only after a late shift when i feel really bad. usually make it to 6pm with no issues.
Well June isnt too far off and maybe then you can take some me time for yourself
I'm with puglet
planning to, in a major way, puglet. am taking 3 weeks off in july, mother mac goes into respite...and i've told himself he has to get me outta here, don't care where, so long as it isn't within cooeee of any family.
brilliant plans. Gooooo girl!
How wonderful!
Have you got your bags packed? lol
*giggle*
hey you should see what is hanging on the door handle ? my tutu!!! haven't worn it for over 40 years and 50 kilos ago. DH wants to see me in it. would be lucky if i got one leg into it...lol
oh lololllll... awesome! You go and wear it for him... on one leg if you have to... and have fun together :D
roflol, sprite.
giggles---yeah sounds like hes wanting more of a second honeymoon! I say as sprite and take it with you!
:D
hey, life is one long honeymoon here. i told before we got married, he would never be bored living with me.
you guys rock. That's the way to go.
I tell my children: when you pick a partner, make sure you can laugh together.
as my sons would say, with fingers in ea4.....lalalalala
sure is! Your icon fits you well "super woman"
:D :D
hey, we are ALL superwomen, here. puglet. each one of us has difficulties to overcome, AND we do so.
ain't that the truth. I lub u, rose.
that is so true! Hearing others problems makes your own seem so small sometimes
lub u 2, sprite
true, puglet, but it is always important to also take your own issues seriously.
NO matter the country we are alike in more ways then we know
that's what i like about this chog, everything is put into perspective for you.
oh amen to that! Some cultural differences, but in the he5, we are all alike.
I love this site and am so glad I hit upon it and I love the people Ive met here
the babble community is a precious one. Caring and supportive, fun and informative, and so far quite able to heal itself after the occasional flare-up of emotions.
It would be really nice to reach out and hug some of the ones thats seems to really need it at times
waaahhhh, can't believe i missed the volcano!!!!
over the years, I have found that a virtual hug is very effective. But yes, a real one is always better!
thanks rose :D Didn't have it either yet.
puglet, the 'virtual' hugs are so nice. many a time i have been the recipient...
gotta get some coffee brb--------then hugs to both of you!!!
so that's the a's 'ammered, and the e's established
*hugs puglet*
ta puglet. hugs to you too
you goooo, gal! I am still in the delightful random phase. Just typing in and plop, it takes.

LOLOLOL
Sounds like a great wedding hat pug
shes having a second honeymoon coming up
sad part is...i can still wear my pointe slippers....the leotards are a tad tight, not to mention the tights....
NBT
Tights are meant to be tight, go for it rose
its not really the dressing up but the moves--isnt it?
so true, so true
yeah, right....not THAT tight, hun
and our rose can MOVE
you better believe, sunshine.
himself is a lucky man
:-D
okay, where is he? it's getting on for after 5:30pm. the mother had to be back at her nursing home by 5pm. knowing him, he has stayed on to do more...he can be so unselfish, it makes me weep. and HIS mother milks it for all it's worth.
ty rose, giggles echoing all around the globe now, happiness levels up 3 points
is he coming home to find you in ballet outfit and big grin?
Oops, not at your last comment, bad timing here
laughter makes the world go round....
glant, seriously considering it......
well, you picked him because of his unselfish he5, among other things, rose... he can only be himself, right?
you can make it, rose... go for it :)
Might shut mother mac up!
i could put my tiara on too....does that sound like a good idea? at least it fits, still.
oh, yes!
such a sharp dresser, our rose. Yes, lovely combination.
go for it
lol, spritey. gosh you all certainly know how to make me laugh
well that goes both ways, grin
and, hey...didn't say where i was going to wear the tiara....it fits really well around my knee.
ooooo original!
tutu on one knee, tiara on the other - vivienne westwood would be happy
100 words done
roflol!!!! *going for incontinence pad* this is too much for this little old lady's.....
goooooo Glant!
time he gets home with all this here talk youre going to be panting like a_______ in heat! You wont need any of them things
am sooo glad himself never reads the chog....he'd be hiding in the wardrobe by now.
aw poor man... yeah, it takes a very strong man to read our chogs. I always admire crossy and zooz and BabbleRabble and ruru, and all our dear male choggers.
Maybe that's where he is now rose... better check
lol Chrissie!
yeah! hide and seek!
awww, they love it...not sure about BR though. my ea5y sense of humour is a bit much for him.
hide and seek in tutu and tiara. It could be the title of a book.
:-D
rofl sprite... I'd buy it
good plot for an agatha christie....
phantom isotone
no wonder you are so tired Rose!
1 dratted l word to find.....
go rose go
and dang it...it's an ly word
oh BabbleRabble has a great sense of humour... very dry. It just may be hard to have it available on bad days... I know that is the case for myself.
you must have the musical instrument and pl?
yeah i know spritey, just don't like to offend him, you know?
yeah, I know :)
do you have the ly5/6 combo?
ly6 - ly & the ra** for the job?
came to me as I imagined you gyrating in tutu and tiara LOL
ah good one, thanks Glant
sorry, needed a potty stop. *giggle* missing ly6, the first one

ly & the ra** for the job
ly + at this speed, at this ****
duh....i not slow, really i'm not. thanx glant and sprite
babble blindness... we all suffer from it from time to time.
are you finished?
nah....still have 90 to go, beginning to look for the hen's teeth now
yay I have an A word for the babble dictionary: awart - prize for worst speller
ah...
lol, spritey, give it to me, give it to me!!
:D It is growing steadily. Love it.
merson should be a word... a merson is a person with a tail of a fish of undetermined gender...
oh I love it, sandbox. Can I add it to the dictionary?
lol, sand....
and hello
go ahead :)
lol
oh, merson is GOOD
there! Lovely addition to the dictionary, thank you :)
hello granny

Bye pug
*head wagging* and what's wrong with the 80's????
lol.... What a feeling la la la lalala
Is it ar4 or ta5?
:D
jeager tea?
tea with rum
Yes please
ah, the idea has some appeal, but don;t think I'd ;like the flavour!
it's just so cold...
they drink it in Austria and Switzerland to get warm.
if you use Stroh rum, it smells lovely.
Mine would have to be coffee though, only drink fruit tea and don't think it would work
worth a try, grin. But you can spike coffee as well.
i only drink fruit tea too, how about a spot of kirsch in fruit tea?
sounds like a plan, Glant~!
Have you tried it Glant?
wow... 503 words grid with re- and only one again- word!
no, but it sounds as if it should work!
himself is finally home. i think he needs a hug. has spent the afternoon washing out kitchen cupboards.
And frequently do sprite;)
yay Chrissie :) Live it up!
Group hug for himself
let him read the chog rose, that should cheer hom up LOL
ouch, poor man. Go hug him and make sure to dress properly. As we discussed.
What goes in the chog stays in the chog Glant :)

WTG GLANT!!
Bye Glant, enjoy the garden x
OMG!
{{rose}}
Exactly ruby:)
{{chrissie}}
resuscitates ruby....it's alright, hun. you can do it.
Hi again :)
oops, i'm still here liz....sad isn't it?
I've been in and out!
Not when the chat is as entertaining as today rose
{{lizlin}}
3 short of 300 so way behind you, Rose, I'm sure.
I'll read back later but for the moment I'm jumping in
*grin* chrissie
Oh dear, low battery, need to recharge, bbl
liz, still 55 to go
Ruby! I read about the antics of your dogs! You must've been worried!
15% battery left here. Using ipad
it was horrible, but I've had an extra layer of grille put around the bottom of the garden and I think they're secure now
(of course, I thought they were secure before). They must be fast diggers
oh good, ruby, so pleased. too much stress for you, darling.
I hope so but thank goodness they were ok
and I heard from John, so that adness has lifted
Now if we'd just get some sunshine and warmer weather, all would be well
sadness*
So glad to hear that. How did he sound?
sprite says they've been having the same dreadful weather in Holland
Hopefully it'll warm up soon.
it was just a not, but he apologized for not answering my letter properly, said he was busy busy busy, and signed it "love"
So that's progress then and I'm glad you feel happier about it :)
note*
awww ruby, sounds like he is sorry, at least
I think he is just egocentric and ultra-busy --- works 60-80 hours/week and then plays with his band on the weekends
Sounds like a hectic life
but at least he hasn't "divorced" his mother, as I feared
Wow! 302! Finally broke the 300 barrier but only have 2 x 8s
Surely grown ups don't do that?
*giggle* liz, my beloved eldest son has done just that...divorced me.
Spry! Thought that was a teen thing, but what do I know?
My husband divorced his mother about 10 years ago, but it was after years of pain and trying not to have to do it
Soory
actually, they sometimes do. My friend, Catherine, after a life of emotional abuse from her parents, "diverced" them in her mid 50's
I'm so naive!
I think it's surprisingly common. My sister has no Relationship with her son and he spends 3 wks/month in NY, where she lives
Lots of autocorrection from the iPad, so apologies for typos!
I have never met my MiL and she wasn't invited to the wedding, after she showed her true colours again we have even had to block her on facebook (including her second account that she tried to sneak in with)
no, liz, you are like me, probably having had a fine Relationship with your parents or at least having no extra expectations. I feel truly Lucky to have had my parents.
Me too Ruby
(these caps happen on their own, no input from me)
np's, liz. as far as i'm concerned it's a fact of life. my son chooses to believe the filthy lies my ex spouted, before his death. as i have said before. murderers are allowed to speak up,in their own defence, but not, apparently mothers
Got on really well with my parents and sad that my mum died at 61
absolutely, rose. I ws afraid that the sh** my ex was telling our son finally "took"
I have always loved and appreciated my parents but to see how Hubby has blossomed by having good parents (he calls them Mum and Dad) makes me love and appreciate them even more
That's great Katie
that is wonderful, Katie, when my husband feels sorry for himself (often), he wishes he had had my parents!
My hubby too, Ruby
Though he doesn't feel sorry for himself but wishes he'd known my mum
I think when you have great parents you think that everyone does so it's been a good lesson for me. He is also a fantastic son to them - we joke that they finally got the child they deserve as he is so thoughtful.
but, unfortunately, my sister and I both married only sons (me, twice -- duh) and had only sons.
:)
oops must dash for a minute, need to bake quickly for Church
{{bye Katie}}
Bye Katie. Enjoy your day
I love this chewy grid!
Taking a break at 310. Almost time for dinner. Hugs to all. BBL :)
{{lizlin}}

HI Ishult - not talking :-D
Hello, Ishult.
LOL, Hurshy.
Hi Ishult
afternoon all
It is a friendly grid though, Crossy.
well, friendly is nice.was getting tired of those tiny ones with sharp teeth
Much more friendly than the last couple
although I a nearly at 300 and have only just found the volcano LOL
I was closer to 350 before I found it!
lol, glant.do not forget to reverse it then as well
for the poker bet
it was easy to overlook the volcano with so many simple words in the grid :)
oh, funnily enough i got that within the first 20 LOL
@268 and struggling.....found volcano early tho???
and now i have the planet we live on - found my own country earlier
lol
even your grass is there, Glantarell :-)
9 words to go....
Good going, Angel!
go angelsong go - i have just reached 300
angel, is the me9 weird or normal?

It's a type of garnet but was a new word to me
thanks!
doh. i get it now. i don;t have one of those LOL, my garden is all paved and gravelled.
Ahh..i see.
those me words are not as scary as they might appear.
first part of one of the me8: think of Miss Hamilton from Gone With The Wind...she married Ashley Wilkes.
shinty isn't a word? It's a Scottish sport for heaven's sake!!!!!
Hello, Movieman :-)
the ea8 sounds like it might be painful...or grand, if it is jewelry....lol
tx angel!
A -I done...

good advice!
This grid is like a big banquet where you don't know what to sample first!
is the AL 7 an extension of the al 5/10?
and when in doubt...type it in anyway :)
yes
more al5
mimi thats why you just dig right in lol
a monkey smorgasboard :P
Just started and have 44...love when that happens.
LOL, smores!
i only have one 5/10 and it doesnt seem to be right
teehee smorgasbord even
smores is that how you spell it?
al5 - to be more wide awake, more focussed on best intellectual form
al5/10 - not early?
when you do something in the more ide awake manner you do it al7
Is anyone else experiencing a delay having words show up both in add word and in chat? Mine pauses between typing and showing up.
you may need to reboot your computer. . .
Hi zooz. Wasn't ignoring you, just distracted
lol...I hope so MLF..hope I did spell it wrong twice :)
It will be tough staying out of the PB with this one! So many opportunities to accidentally type one of the words.
*zips mouth*
so i idd have the right 5/10..cool
smores i was about to say something using the same word but thought it was somthing like schmorgessbord
:)
hehehe
I've boarded up the PB so you can chat with impunity (think that's the word I want)
i've always seen it spelt smorgasbord
I think I need a good cleanup program, jmc. It is also doing that with my emails. Very frustrating. I ran two free programs but each one only cleaned up a few of the issues. Will look for other free ones and maybe as an aggregate they will clean up enough.
schmorgessbord sounds like a swedish board game. . .
have you tried de-fragging mimi? your pc should have a tool for that in 'my computer'
ccleaner is helpful. . . and defragging
me 9?
lol chrissie closed the PB
jmc i agree
Sounds too painful Glant. :)
smorgasbord is the correct spelling...one of the few words i know for sure how to spell
:)
only one re 'to do something again' in the whole massive grid and i struggled for ages
Haven't tried that, Glan...I'm still leaning computer stuff in that regard. Is it easy to find?
NEVER MIND
re + ty4
nbt and nbs
with these huge computers defragging takes forever. . . and you need to be sure to tell you machine not to shut off because of idleness first and then start the defragging and walk away for an hour. . . .
wtg mlf!
i am out of here will be back
Is another "buffet"jmc?
just go to your control panel and you should find it - and it will take a while so do it at bedtime

Hello, Bea.
Hello, Christa.
Yes it should.
ty smores. . .
thank you zoo
I think so Christa...I use Expert so not sure
i don't konw christa. . . but your word list would be saved and you can bulk add it if it doesn't
alas i still need a word from the bottom A and from the leftmost E for nbt. . .
Please.do not take my word as a final..i would hate to think it didn't when you went back on there.

My search got interrupted by the poor feral momma cat looking for food.
NBT and NBS - thnx for cues - off to first errand of the day - BBL
we have two feral cats here that I have had to stop feeding. :-(
Bless..hope momma cat is happy now :-)
we have two wrens living here in our wren house and it was sideways. Can't have that
Bye for now, Teach.
have a great day, wvteach
We have a lot of feral cats in the neigborhood.
bye teach, enjoy
Bye Teach ... enjoy :)
But if you keep feeding them maybe they won't go after the birds?
Many places have organizations that will pick up the ferals and try to find them homes or just keep them if they can't....google stray cats.
it breaks my he***
I must be going as well..BBL
hi all.. whatta biggee today!
All three of mine were strays. Such happy little accidents!
Hi, Aloy! Yep...too much fun!
our oldest son works with a young lady whose mom has a cat sanctuary on the east side, he is checking with her to see if her mom will take them
There is no way these cats can be picked up.
Yet it he8 me to know you did feed them, Mom.
morning Aloy
Later, smores.
Hello, Aloy!
hello aloy :)
Morning, aly.
Nice sentiment and thanks for the clue, zooz!
aloy
they have come such a long way since last summer. I can pick them up and pet them and love them but I can't risk the wrens or other birds
great to see you all.. think I'll dive in for a bit.. splash!
I will go and look for zoozz clues
Just extend your he5, Mom.
Hubs decided that our kitten Wally should have a full name.
got it, thanks so much
and what will Wally's name be
So he has dubbed him Walden House.
there are five he5 words.
Walled In House.
A friend of mine in Ohio was full up with cats of her own but got a little heated house and put it up for a stray that wouldn't let her touch him. She's a special person.
Great name, very inventive
lol..i like that, Bea.
so cute, bzzz
Since we had to tear out a wall in the house to get him out, it is only fitting.
and I got the 5 he words, thanks again
yw mom

bye bye ((TO))
{Mom}
bye ((Mimi))
You on town or tank water Mimi?
... surfacing for a bit.. hi herin!!
Town. We're in a 10-year drought, though, and the Colorado River has dropped for the first time in history. That can be serious since it provides water to us and California.
HI Aloy
.. and everyone else who has joined the major fun
Herin, I just watched a great TV series from New Zealand---Top of the Lake. Great series and beautiful New Zealand scenery. I so much want to get to your side of the world!!
Never been to outside of Aus
I've been in 43 of the 48 contiguous states here, Canada and Mexico. Hoping to get a bit more global next year if/when money I'm expecting comes in.
i watched it too, mimi! Really terrific!
Did you also see "Outrageous Fortune," Une? Another New Zealand series. They used the same house in both shows...most have a tight budget! Also, one of the characters is in both shows.
I would like to have the money to go with friends parents across the country when they retravel again
no, didn't see that one, mimi
Holly Hunter was in Top mostly, I think, because Jane Campion created and directed it. She directed her in "The Piano." A little trivia there!
You should watch it, Une...it's a lot of fun and very different.
Heavenly Creatures Kate Winslet brilliant and some of Peter Jacksons early stuff.
I have that one in my queue on Netflix, lady...so many shows, so little time! Silver Linings Playbook is worth watching.
Peter Jackson bad horror is pretty awesome
Taking a break for a bit...bbl. Hugs all around.
byes Mimi
O wow this guy I lived with got an Oscar nod for a doco he composed the music for
yes, saw heavenly creatures years ago -- also very good
cool herin!
I say that is how you get it done. His dream was to leave Aus and move to LA and make music and he did it
145 to go and taking a break *poof*
Later Uni

Ok down to 39 more to find..i need a break. Back later..have a great day / Evening ,everyone.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sole_(fis\nh) it is in this article
i wish folks would stop referring to words as fish, they ea4 fish, they are not fish
Someone please clue it after you look it up. I can't do both at the same time on this computer. :(

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sole_(fis\nh)
Ok the best I can come up with is you put pe in your car. I think USA calls it Gas
Got it with that Herin! TY!!!!!
if it is the bird you are referring to, i have that one

Bye WV! Enjoy!
hello everybody
half this AM and ty for the clues in the chog
{{RUBY}}!!!!
272 now and this is a lovely grid
Hello, Ruby.
I am really enjoying it too!
{{car....!!!}}
hello bzzn!
yesterday there was a big woodpecker feeding in the driveway in front of my kitchen Windows and I was able to Watch it for a long time
Group "Hello" and {{hug}} to all I have missed this morning!
Oh very cool, Ruby!
Do you know what type of woodpecker it was?
Today he got trapped in the garage and I was able to rescue him -- it is always thrilling to hold birds
You held him?!?!?
he was a "pic epeiche" -- I looked in Peterson and he is bigger and prettier than either the hairy or the other one
there was no other way to get him out from behind the window bards except with my bare hands. When I tried from the front, he pecked at me, but when I got him by the "shoulders", I waas able to calm him a little and carry him outside
Pounce on Ruby
{{herin}} it is lovely to see you!
since I rescued the hawk from Inside the house, I am fearless
How big is this woodpecker, ruby?
Im probably going to bed after this JIMI HENDRIX song
I am amazed by you Ruby! Very cool!
wingspan 39 cm and length, if I remember corr3ectly 23cm
Hi ruby doolittle
sometimes I have to rescue little birds, stunned from hitting th Windows. You can feel their heartbets
LOL!
{{annie}} I hope you are having a wonderful time with your Florida friend
I wonder if they are called pileated woodpeckers here?
I have been told that putting a preditor pic in the window deters birds that and mirrors,
Yes, I am
I was away from the keyboard before and I see that herin was here.
now at spectacular as the pileated, who is much bigger, but prettier than either the hairy or downy -- red on both head and Under the tail plus assorted stripes and checks
not as *
hello
hootowl should be here to read this, ruby
my typing is terrible on this keyboard, sorry
Hey, I am about halfway, and I have noticed that neither the -tion or -sion are coming into play very much. Is this true or am I missing a lot of words?
We have a pileated in the neighborhood, but I can not spot him this season.
later alls
what's funny is that after yestyerday, this afternoon I could hear a noise that I thought might be the bird, but I didn't realize he was picking at the glass in the garage -- from Inside, poor thing!
Hi herin
Bye Herin!
I've never seen a pileated, but the birds re totally different here from in the US
bye herin
bye herrin
byes
bye underlass
I have added about 30 new birds to my "life list" since moving to France
finches, not gold here, are much drabber -- chartreuse with pale violet beaks
(know o nly from handling rescued ones)
my husband buys about 10 lbs of sunflower seeds/week
and we have a fishpond, so they have a water source, too
and fruit trees, just for the birds -- elderberries, tasteless cherries and black currants
and I share the occasional fig with birds
nellie killed the chog, sorry
LOL! I was busy trying to get the last few words starting with vowels.
Now it is time for me to bzz...Later...pfft!
I admire people who walk through the woods listening for birds, but I can't do that, so just birdwatch passwively
Now shall i watch the eurovision song contest tonight or not.
yes, zoozz
and maybe next year, it will be your turn
I love the sounds of birds in my garden, Ruby..makes me feel at one with nature.
can y ou identify them, oozz?
haha no chance here, Ruby..it seems to be rather political these days.
hahah
do you get migratory birds on your island?
Afraid not, Ruby..i can tell a few..but others not..mosltly fiches come in mine..al sorts of colours.
We do..but they tend not to come into street gardens..they go over the nature reserves or marsh lands.
we are across a small road from a big field so the hawks come down and try to pick the birds off our feeder
We do have red squirells over here.
and there is a mysterious cookoo whom I've only seen once, but I hear her very often
cuckoo
I would not like to see that..although it is nature at work.
no squirrels here, the French have eaten all of them
hahahaha
no rabbits, either
Well there are tons of bloody snails in my garden if they run out of them there lol
you see women in coats made of what loos like 50 animal skins....eeewwwww
then i could get paid for importing those critters than haev overrrun my yard? what a deal
what color are your squirrels, TO?
grey
You could become a furrier
191left bbl luck o all!
:)
Grey squirells not too keen on..red ones are small and non aggressive.
I've seen one squirrel, black, in 15 years here
how about the rabbits?>
Tons over here.
is it true that grey squirrels attack red ones?
And hares.
ruby, i beleive the habitats don't intersect. definintley not in the easter us
the o nly plentiful wild animals here are boar which eat people's gardens but, happily, not ours
and i think people are sometimes sotty. i don't know why enable does not.
I have heard they attack the red ones.as we have a policy on the island.if any grey squirells are found they will be taken off the island.
I think that's a UK "urban myth"
our small island is becomming overrun with rabbits - some (kindly?) soul brought some over from Victoria where the hospital and University grounds were overrun with them - they multiply like crazy
uh oh, dinner tie
*woof*
hi and bye flosey' you are as rare a sighting as my black squirrel
Yes our island has way too many rabbits..they are everywhere.
lol ruby, am in and out - baking cookies just now
And moles..we have loads of those too.some people have beautiful gardens with ruddy great dirt mounds all over it.
zooz, read about the rabbit problem in Australia
Will do..will have to shut down babble to do that..as xbox 360 does not have tabs..going now.
back again for the last 113
hi flosey, zoom, ruby, and anyone else who's lurking
hi Glant

it is but I like big grids
I was not on at the flip to get all the good clues
well she fell over in the kitchen and bashed her head on the washing machine - has several stitches on her forehead and may have a broken nose! 2 black eyes but no head injury - they did a ct scan and xray to make sire
oh dear, hope she heals fast. so it was you with the weird infection and pickpocket?
I do hope this coming week is a better one for you, kazz
yes - it started like an earache in my right ear and the pain spread all down my right side to the bottom of my ribs and then thursday I had a really upset stomach. My right jaw swelled up but is ok now. and the little bugger that pinched some money will not doubt get his comeuppance at some point in the future - its wasnt too much so no real harm done
are you feeling better now?
I am looking forward to work this week - I have just started a real challenge that will take quite a lot of ingenuity to complete. I am much better - I must be we were out shopping for 8 hours today
got my holiday clothes for me, hubby and son - even though hols arnt till the end of august!!
glad you are feeling better. shopping for 8 hours! what did you buy

hey annie :-)
i bet you did :)
Agreed, Lilliann
an7 is a word meaning the opposite of another
Opposite words, Nan.
hi Une! Your mother was beautiful
an + mans name + letter
she was, Annie -- in every way
tx for an7!
is that a picture of your mam une? wow. i agree with annie.x
she was 21, just married :-)
zoom, have you finished?
ty zoom
it's a beautiful picture une and she looks so natural:)
we closed on her house yesterday -- sad, dark and rainy day . . . BUT the woman who bought it is very nice and loves the house . . .
Yep finished a while ago, Lilliann.
tx lilliann -- she was very down-to-earth :-)
ea 7, please?
it must be hard une as alot of memories but atleast you still have those memories and it's great that the lady who bought it loves it so she will take good care of the house
wtg zoom for earlier. can i have a clue for the se6/24 please
ea7: hearing organ + rock
ea7 within listening distance
Une thats the ea8?
it's zoo's clue....the other is for ea 8...
sorry, yes, ea8 LOL
tx for the ea7!
lilliann, it really made a difference meeting the buyer and chatting with her -- very personable, an animal lover, compassionate . . . Mother was ill for so long, her beautiful yard had really just fallen apart, but it's going to be completely cleaned up and restored -- Mother would be so happy :-)
i'm so glad une :)it must have been very difficult lately so big hugs to you :)
Anita, the buyer, told me she had walked through the house introducing herself to Mother and assuring her she would take good care of her home -- she was afraid I would think that was weird but I thought it was pretty wonderful
Une, that is very comforting
aww, yes it is:)
yes . . . and now we can talk about something else! :-)
clue for na 7/44 please?
Your mother's house is in loving hands
can I please have a clue for the se 6/24 after the 8/60
zoom, are you still here?
se6/24 someone who stands guard
se + **** a word was said
pen, na 7 is the plural of the one above
se6/24 is to do with number six
tx annie, didn't have that one
na6/7 unicorn of the sea :-)
guess that would make sense if i had the one above, lol....
another se6/24 se + if you don't first succeed *** again
I thought it was the narc of the sea
hey ruru!!

Ru, you'll love this -- I knew I was inheriting rental property from my mom but didn't know what it was . . .
hi all. recovering from three days in dc with the 8th grade
ty zoom. sweet dreams and tc
hi ru
found out yesterday I'm now the proud owner of a muffler shop, a small diner, and 2 electronic signs! LOLOLOL
dorens!! haven't seen you in ages!
lol.. a muffler shop?
une.... muffler shop???
hi dorens, then you don't need a 503 grid to help you relax then!! lol :)
i came on one day last week une and saw you had been on and asked if you were around, but then you weren't. Did you see the film Renoir?
the muffler shop is on the edge of the TN Tech campus -- our family originally had a Gulf station there
no, didn't see that
hah lil that's for sure. just woke up from one of those naps that when you wake up you're not sure whether it's AM or PM or what day it is
Ru, you can call me Fannie Flagg! LOL
lol dorens, i have them all teh time :)
une, what is a muffler shop?
Just coming back to work some more on this grid. It is keeping me grounded this afternoon. Did you inherit these prizes Unea?
Unemidas-aixoise
me too dorens!
in 6/21, please?
it was only playing for a week or two at very few american theatres. but was gorgeous, and like an impressionist film, if that's possible. supposedly in or near Aix
:-D

Hi lilliann. just flying but getting nowhere on this grid.

ty pen and teach
yw
hi teach
Good for you unea!
good evening all - back for the evening
evening wvt
three days with 8th graders and i'd be checking into creedmore
une, what is a muffler shop?
hi dorens
a shop that replaces the muffler on your car
made it past halfway. I'll consider that fireworks today. ;-)
*note to self.. own some electric signs
LOL
don't know what the british term is for muffler
i guessed that but i didn't realize there were just shops for that, i would have called it a garage
yay hokie :)
ok...i know these might be related...what about pe6/27 & pe7/32 & pe8/45?
it's an exhaust
a garage does more than mufflers
we also have shops that do nothing but oil changes
they are called Mufflours nan
we have garages that do it all, shops that specialize in brakes, shops that do mufflers, shops that do oil changes.
here the garage fixes and sells exhausts
it wasn't reallly the kids, it was the schedule and the rush.. We had to be up at 4:45 to wake up our kids and get on the bus at 5:30 to get to breakfast and then into DC (or Arlikngton) on time for three miles of hiking up hills and rushing around. didn't back to hotel till 10 or 11 and then had to run around the hotel checking on the kids... tried to finish the grid the other night, but had five left at flip. why i stayed up that late when i needed sleep is anyone's guess.. i would say insanity
not getting that in6 clue, hi all
can't tell you how hilarious it is for me to own a muffler shop! LOL
you are a real mechanic at heart, yes use?

*curious about the real estate question
TO...do you have a question I can help with?
yes, champ. i understand that laws may differ from state to state. we got an offer on the house we are selling.
GREAT! what's the problem?
i got the infro second habnd so may not be getting it quite right so bear with me pls
Do you want to email me? smcline1557@yahoo.com
our agent mentioned that the buyers drove by and saw the house. she is stated she is still representing us
champ. if you would like to help that would be appreciated. it almost sounds as if the buyers are also her clients
In Texas, she's your agent, and can represent them, but not as much as she represents you. Yes, please email and I'll explain.
did you cancel the listing? when?
thank you. i have read a bit but it seems like an impossible task. someone is going to get the short end of this. and i think she has to telll us writing and get our signnature
Up here the agent can no longer claim to represent you 3 months after cancellation
how can there not be conflict of itnerest?
thank you champ
there goes the buzzer - time for me to start cooking :)
Here, the person getting the short end is the buyer. If she's listing your house, she represents YOU. If she does both, then the buyer gets her representation, but very limited information.
AND...if it's not in writing, it's nothing. Paper, paper, paper.
thanks. i will email later if that is ok
Absolutely! No worries. Just tell me the whole thing and I'm happy to help. If i need a consult in your area, I can get that too. We're nationwide. Happy to help.
thank you. just need general info, will not ask tyou to go vs. another. just want to understand
Not a worry. Excited to have a grid to play with for hours...wooHOO!
we are happy because the offer seems workable, if not, at least things are heating up
They're all workable if both sides are willing. It's a starting point...go for it!
we need to respond by tomorrow, though not sure why
email me now!!!

the lower left S and the P are my two biggest problem areas.
fine. reesting up from the week. and you?
damn it my phone was in my bra and I just deleted Google chrome.
lolol
resting up from the week as well. Three days in DC and hershey park with a bunch of 8th graders and even more juvenile fellow chaperones
google or Booble?
*spits out iced tea*
If I dont share that I will cry
lolol
bummer HERIN!
you have some powerful things in that bra if they can delete chrome
I had 20 tabs open.
hahahah doren, you need more rest than i do lol
LOL Dorens
Nope I was on the phone and it was in the bra pocket.
speaking of bras, we saw TOM JONES Thursday night. my firend threw panties at him
lol
how old is he??? ( SOrry)
hehehe
i do NOT understand that. Tom jones? why would i waste my panties on him ? ever?
is totally confused by this whole bra phone thing
he is still so handsome and his voice is great he did soul and gospel. he is 72. short grey afro and beard
lol
I would think they'd throw depends at him
that's all i have the energy for....lol
i'm confused by the bra AND the panties
because they loved him.
SOunds like you had fun Owl
they were so outrageous i could not help but laugh
ru: YOU should lok as good at that age. he is fab
so what are you so tired from owl?
no chance of that
iw as standing RIGHT in front of hm on a 4.5 ft stage
from the music convention. we had a blast.
Hurshy my phone was down my bra so I could keep babbling on the pc and talk to a friend (and stop the cats eating the headset) I must have leant wrong and hit the delete button
yeah, i get it, i just don't GET it.
there are many many predicaments in which i have found, will find, or might find myself. that is just not one of them.
it is the price you pay for multi tasking
*there's a really funny joke here somewhere*
HI all. need clue for the 9 pleaews and any 8s out there as well. dont have any yet.
well, i multi-task. just not in that particular way.
TO I am super jealous of your night out,
ru, i'm sure if you try hard enough you'll come up with it, or you just aren't ru anymore
what about the first sa 6/24?
not night, herin. THREE NIGHTS
and days
Hurshy when you have cats running up that like to eat cords you have to tuck cords in. In this case the bra was the safest quickest option.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa TO
sa6/24 is what you get paid to work
ok well, i am goin' ta bed. sa6/24 bill gates has a very hefty sa6/24
most people can't live without it pen
first is pay
duh...told you i was tired....thanks
doren, tom sang "tower of song". very emotional and beautiful. who would expect that? he is all soul now
most people would say they've nipped Google in the bud.. herin nippled it in the bud
you're close ru, but i know you can come up with more
i wasn't a huge fan owl, he was too las vegas for me. but i'm sure he had/has talent.
Me neither .. except for "you can leave your hat on"
hi all. any clue for the 9?
MY mom LOVED Tom Jones
what about the next to the last se 6/30?
wow, i never realized he was the one who sang you can leave your hat on . that was a good song
se + battles
not vegas any more, totally changed to something suitable for his age. the only vegas was the sotry he told about the gospel song he wrote based on elvis'favorite which he shared when they both performed there
friends dragged me there and i wanted to see their antics
heheh RU
both se 6/30s are plurals of the se 5/18
he didn't write it.. J. Geils did..but he did the best version
i have that one ruru....i need the next to the last
got it...thanks
its a plural too
change the last letter to single hump letter and plural for 6
same word. change the last cons that is not the s
whose version was in the movie 8 1/2 weeks or whatever that title was... mickey rourke and kim basinger?
I don't know.. that movie was too sicko for me to watch
Ru I am always making a boob of myself
wait, you can leave your hat on is randy newman
you're talking to the choir here herin :D
he wrote it
nist
oh.. .you are right..i'm confusing it with another song
no it isnt..
oops sorry. not a word but still.
oh right. randy newman for sure.
and yes, ist was definitely a sicko song
not song.. movie
i mean movie. i do need to finish this and get back to sleep
*turns on electric blanket for doren*

Hi Smores
back for a few more, don't know if I'll finish or not
There is no way there is 42 T words in that square
I only have 1/2 of them
Me too and going crosseyed
Smores I am finding adding vowels to the end of words and swapping them equals finding new words
thanks herin..I'm about to go through the list again..I'll try that :)
and a healthy dose of nope that can't be a word.
lol..found a few of those
The first 300 -400 isn't bad depending on your vocab.
I'm at 389
I have 57 left. Just using more words. I found aobut 300 and something before my brain couldn't find normal words any more
same here
I am finding a few every day words but most of them are weird vowel words that I haven't heard off
I mean the brain quit working part :)
You can find all the good long words when the brain goes 'NOpe'
I just found a few that are like you were saying with the added vowel ending
And swap the vowel
And then add the sometimes vowel
help please with the 2nd pe 7/32
