After her 3rd encore, she said, in perfect Yiddish, "Ich kann nisht, ich kann nisht" -- "I can;t anymore, I can't". The crowd ate her up.
She hardly ever performs anymore. Oh, to hear those pipes live!

Babble has really gotten boring. Even the few big ones we have had have not been challenging.
but the chog isn't boring
sometimes the small ones take longer than the bigger ones because they have a bite and that is fine as we're having to work hard on the grid so it gets your brain working a bit more but when they are all the same sort of grids it does get boring molly.if we have more little and big in between it's not so bad.now, you watch, we'll get a weeks worth of 500 word grids and then we'll still be complaining that we don't have enough time to finish them :)

i'm sorry to hear that nef and hope he is ok and stays that way with a bit of rest but i also know what's it like when you have agood day with any ilness/disability, you tend to go overboard as there are less good days than bad.we all tend to overdo it unfortunately which then makes us bad for days after,but we all do it again :)
(((hugs))) to you too. The neurologist decided to hold off on steroids unless his symptoms get worse. The neuro NP typed up a "list" -in Large letters!- that he has to do which includes naps, stretches and early AM exercises. The list is on the frog and he says he did it today
He must have a hard time catching the frog to read the list. : D

we did have a a hot, sunny humid summer a few years ago soodle, that's when everyone went mad and bought up all the paddling pools, fans, ice etc and now they are all in peoples sheds and garages, apart from the ice that is :)
