I laugh every time I see Molly's icon
your icon gives me chills :(
oh.. sorry
I was making a point yesterday. I'll probably change it tomorrow
makes sense then
it's just a photo of an actor dee :D a famous Japanese actor
It does me too, Dee.
I know too much of the backstory
what do you mean?
Howdy Peach
Hi Peach
those guys are concocting a new Gay persona as we speak.. they'll reappear at some point
Hi there, Liz.
I am sure you are correct.
Dear puglet, how are you?
The problem is now that the Bar for the newbies is set so high.. it will be harder for them to pull it off
Iam fine Peach and how are you today
Old Frank has sure disappeared huh? :D
Good to have someone scrutinizing the newbies.
Doing pretty well. The weather has been beautiful, I think that has a lot to do with the way some of us feel.
you'll have to email me the back story sometime dee. I don't know everything
I liked you raising awareness to a babbler the other day.
You know a lot more than I do. I purposefully steered clear of all of that...
yes.. I very suspicious of that new player
yes, I think you are right Peach
trying too hard to misspell words
I am very .. sorry
Certainly a huge amount of poor spelling of words, which many kids I've taught with learning difficulties, wouldn't misspell.
how do you sort out the bad apples
bingo liz.. bingo
I also questioned his access to media for someone claiming to be taught in a school by rabbis. A religious family wouldn't necessarily have that access.
:D.. me too
I don't mean using a computer - more knowledge of popular culture.
But I don't really know.
I think I know who he is
does this person carry apart of your name RU
Yes Pugs and a number.
Really?
uh huh
yes Joso gave a warning earlier
ah.. good for Joso
But in the end, as long as people don't get sucked in and no one gets hurt, then I don't mind what persona they have!
I just talk to people who've been around a while or have met other players.
I dont understand the why of it though? Whats to gain from it?
I think I'm a bit like that too. Tend to lurk if I don't know the people chatting but then I've only been here a bit over a year, so I guess there are lots I don't know.
Not sure pugs.. they get their jollies off pretending to be different people
The fact that he is getting one over on someone. Or thinks he is.
I agree. They get a real kick out of deception.
I agree. They get a real kick out of deception.
yup
Iam about in the same boat Liz
hi and nbt
it's usually people who aren't welcome here .. and for good reason
Sorry! Got to go. Going out tonight, so got to get ready. I'll be back later or tomorrow. Sleep well and I'll catch you soon.
bye liz
hey josh
bye Liz
Have a great time, Liz.
good morning all! More news from rose or still just the first message?
hi sprite
hi and bye, Liz!
I got one email.. that's it
hi ruru... what's with the NB icon? Is 'it' back?
Morning Sprite--hugs--no more news from me on Rose
I bet we have someone here who just might have caught something from his doings....lets ask o-o if he has a take on it.
no.. I don't think so. It was up for another reason. I think I'll change it now if it is bothering people
not bothering me, just wondering if you had a reason to put it back up.
I did yesterday
Hey there, sprite.
o-o does have a sharp eye, it is true
I made a point I've been thinking about
<---the bad goat is baaaaaack
lol... nice one
how did group go yesterday Sprite
hiya peach :)
had a helluva ti4 getting there, pug, but group itself went pretty ok. Got a compliment for how I did last week... didn't lose weight though :( Not always consistent, is it, weight loss.
tell me about it sprite
I lost twenty and have gained back 7
you too, ruru? So frustrating, isn't it, lol.
hope you didnt have a bike wreck
fireworks
well its the holidays Ru--thats expected
it is frustrating
wtg on the 20. So sorry you gained some back :(
congrats Dee
congrats dee.. well done
I didn't mean to run you off dee
gratz Dee
ty and hi sprite
Congrats, Dee!!!!!!
pug: no, just a lot of trouble with the public transportation.
you didn't, ru... was trying to find my last 10
oh good. I changed to the goat to make you feel better
I guess one icon was as good as nanny
Iam not seeing no goat
refresh pugs
May I please have a clue for any 'in' words? Thanks
phant nimiety
pug, you will see the nancy boy icon until you reopen babble or refresh the page.
you are close to one word though josh
peach, when they hurt my vanity, I will react with in****ation.
ahh ha theres the old goat!
i am very rusty
<---not the first time I've heard that line
hi all
lol... now now, don't call ruru an old goat
Thanks so much, sprite.
hi jbp
Hi jbp
hi JB.. nice ..we're just puttering around here
yvw peach
sorry Ru, that line just came out
<---eats a tin can
no wonder you've gained then---tin is a bit heavier
*si4s up ruru for Jaws teeth*
I leave the lids
ruru does the town 'nipomo' or nipoma ring a bell to you
as in a town in california
testing... lol... trying to see if I remember how to change my icon... don't mind me ...
no.. where is it
I know Pomona
south of bay area iirc
yep you did, Dee. I see the birthday candles.
not ringing a bell josh
i'm baaarely keeping up with the banter
sorry
i stayed at a 'youth hostel' there AKA some elderly nudist who let me stay in exchange for various farm tasks
cool... wasn't sure I remembered how..
one of my tasks was trimming the hooves of a goat
k... I am off til the morrow... have a great day / sleep all!!! *hugs*
night dee
hope you kept your clothes on josh :D
*refrains from asking which nude farm tasks*
bye dee
night Dee
bye Dee
night josh, ru, sprite, jb, pug, et al
"trimming the hooves of a goat..." is that what the kids are calling it these days? (sorry, couldn't help it)
nite dee
i did not participate in the nudist traditions of that household
I hope he wasn't hoeing around Sprite
Sweet dreams, Dee.
lol jbp
I cant see goats being a good animal on a nudest farm
josh kept his socks on
LOLOL
I have heard they eat everything hanging around, pug
one thing i learned was that when goats want to kick, they kick. you can't really affect the outcome at all
good thing, or the newly pedicured goat might want to wear/eat them
thats what Iam getting at--lol
*grin*
wow.. that would be a game changer for me
ah, nipomo is near SLO
i knew it was around there somewhere
I went to a nudist beach once in my younger days.. i generally felt uncomfortable
well, i agree with previous preferences for not being nude around goat chores
ja. . . ?
ja + not uncle
I am pretty ok with nude. Like in a sauna for instance. Visited friends at a nudist camp here once and didn't mi4 at all.
a lot of beached whales there Ru? lol
yeah.. we tried to push a few back in the ocean
not uncle... but I don't see a U.
ty :)
sounds like not uncle
bravo for you Sprite!
got it, thanks ruru
the hard part pugs?
hey there, Yvooria.
peach, also found in6/7 combo for a very dark blue
Hi YV
yay, sprite!!
hi Yvooria
??? Ru
hi :)
Hello my name sounds like in------ Montoya
Oh, thanks much, sprite.
indigos
when we pushed them back into the ocean.. it was hard to keep the blow holes up >:D
from the Princess Bride, jbp?
yep, that one, peach, LOLOL
one of my top 5 of all time
OK, I'm rolling to the PB now. Choclits, please.
not the blowholes, tho
choclits coming up...
LOLOL
me too, jbp. Love that movie.
never saw it
the pit is opening I believe
LOLOL
it is brilliant
are there any gn words besides the little buzzy thing?
it's a chick flick sprite
yes jb there are three gns
and, dessite the fact that the move is that good, the book is even better!
that one and two related, dp
jdp
I would look like a albino beached whale
nah... not really a chick flic. My husband enjoyed it too.
that would be jbp. apologies
and Ru, with that fight choreography, it is no chick flick.
oh! There is a book? I need that book.
silly pug. You would look like you. Beautiful and nude.
no worries, joshuav... I don't even know what i'm called sometimes
I know the feeling, jbp... where am I and who am I doing here?
yeah right Sprite in my fanasty dreams-lol
*holds off greenpeace*
tis the truth, pug.
sprite, just remember to check in at the desk
hm, good idea, josh
bbl..
night then Ru
bye ruru!
nite rururu
found the book. Thanks jbp!
Sprite is your daughter feeling better
aww, do I have to go into the pb for that?
I predict you will dig it, Sprite
too early to tell, pug. She sounds more upbeat but still looks like... well... you know
great. Almost done with my dresden files, will read this one before I start on the iron druid series.
hello all after bridge and an email check
My darn dryer quit yesterday:(---last week the freezer and this week the dryer
Hello Jilli
hi jilli! Oh I wanted to tell you... I started on Jigidi and am having lots of fun puzzling. Even made and shared a new puzzle there!
hi jills!
jeezzz pug, that blows. So sorry :( You so don't need that kind of thing.
great, sprite! are you using sprite as your name there?
phantom... idiom
sprite was taken. I am spritelet.
good phantom
what is jigidi?
I FOUND THE NINE.....I FOUND THE NINE...all by myself. ( it's the little victories that thrill me, obviously).
is that a word game site or jigsaw puzzles
a jigsaw puzzle game site
yay, peach!!!!! I totally get that
good job, peach :)
oh wowwww peach, wtg!
ALRIGHT PEACH!
ooh, jigsaws are my newest addiction. will have to check it out
I'll look for you. I'm jillibus there and did offer a few for solving. At present I'm addicted to mosaics -- big ones.
I prefer the big ones too. Will look up your puzzles!
wow, you contributed a lot of puzzles! Love the playing Danes.
am dazed by puzzles...
I always liked the round puzzles but not too many can be found any more
my puzzle got a 100 solves within the hour. But not a single comment, lol.
I love jigsaws. Real life ones too.
at home we almost always had one out on the puzzle table--My mom loved them too
jbp, a couple of guys in Denmark invented jigidi and it's great -- people make puzzles out of their own creations and there are some beauties. No round ones, though, pug, although have you tried the Bits & Pieces catalogue?
oh how awesome, pug! Wish we had room for such a table. I'd love to be able to just let it sit there and puzzle whenever I wanted.
Well, that's what I do on jigidi.
No I havent Jilli
Mom was always exchanging puzzles in our small town with others living there
real life ones are harder though, jilli. On jigidi you always know which part of a piece is up.
that is smart, pug
I havent tried any of the stand up ones, have you Sprite
have you started a new darkhunter book already, pug?
How did you guess? LOL
we did a globe one here, pug
did you like it?
good :D Am so glad it reached you ok. You will LOVE bride and vane.
(and hate her ex boyfriend, lol)
sprite , I just bookmarked your puzzle -- just the kind I like. At present I'm working on a Potpourri by InConcert35, one of my favourites -- another is debs.
not anymore than I do you
pug, the pieces were numbered on the inside... took away a lot of the fun for me.
thanks jilli, will look them up. And I hope you will enjoy the stars. I had a lot of fun making it, will probably make more mosaics.
I know jigidi is easier than real ones, but I find them relaxing.
ooh, just joined
someone gave me a puzzle of puzzle pieces and I hated that one--was too, and I mean too hard
am going to upload some images...
so do I, jilli. Am enjoying it very much. Sometimes I go to bed way too late because I don't want to stop.
oh I know that one, pug! Yes, that is a wicked puzzle.
jbp, awesome! What is your name on jigidi?
I admire mosaic makers. I haven't a clue how to invent them, although sometimes somebody gives tips. Do you know about the Fadebook group and the yahoo group?
no, didn't know. Will check out the fb group if I ever go there, lol.
brb -- refill time
jilli, with the Star (pro-dom) do you get the option to befriend eachother?
ok, so how do I change the # of pieces pmce O
ve i[;paded
once I've uploaded (and put my fingers in the right key position)
nm, i finally got it to work. ;-)
yay jbp! I think I found you... same handle?
brb
yep that's me
no, sprite -- you just get rid of ads. The chat thing is in the Yahoo group but it's not like here. I haven't used it much at all but should.
that is a kickass puzzle ya got there!
ok, thanks jilli :)
Now I'll have to find you, jbp!
thanks jbp!
yay!
Cute little fox, jbp. What does he say?
cute one, jbp
Iam back , ladies

re-hi pug
Also back for a short while before dinner and out!

Hi, jillibus.

enjoy, jbp!
Sleep well jbp :) - Sorry didn't mean to ignore you!
Sweet dreams, jbp.
bye jbp and welcome to jigidi addiction
oh now I get it... you have to be in town for that long? Busy day.
May I please have a clue for ti6-27 the 1st? Thanks
yes Sprite--I got things to do in two towns
I've used jigidi a couple of times. Which puzzles are yours, sprite or Jilli. Can I find them?
Love jigsaws!
peach: a message
Liz, when you go to puzzles and then click By user, you can search for jillibus or spritelet
*hugs pug* Bring your book. You may have waiting time on your hands at some point... ;)
I keep one in the car just for that reason-lol
hehehe good thinking!
Cool - just looked. Will try to remember and when I have time, will try them out.
peach - comfort and joy :)
it is a fun site, Liz. Lots and lots of good puzzles.
Iam afraid to go there-lol I might get hooked on something else
careful, liz, it's as addictive as Babble
We always have a puzzle on our table - it goes onto the floor in the lounge, when we need the table!
lol pug... healthy addictions are ok.
lovely, Liz
Babble isn't addictive
Thanks for the warning jili - I'll check I've lots of time on my hands when I go to the site. I've written your's and sprite's names down.
true. I quit playing every day. It is easy.
Addicted? Moi?
Thanks so much, Yvooria and sprite.
yvw peach :)
I quit every grid
Don't have an 8 or 9 yet! Any hints welcome!
I feel I spend too much ti4 already on my a** already--lol
lol pug
hi ruru -- you left just as I arrived. I assume you went in a blaze of FW glory?
No not really jilli...
Liz I have one 8 and it a me8

Did anyone get the in9? I know I don't clue well.
bye jilli, *hugs*
Ruru, will you please clue in9. I don't think even I could get it from my clue.
in9: outrage, disgrace
Good one, sprite.
:)
Have the io 8 - thanks - was trying to leave out the final 2 letters of the io 5. Didn't think to build with them!

hugs back Liz and enjoy
Thanks, puglet. That makes me feel more securel
Iam glad its him and not I---hate moving!
Well, I managed to mispell a word there.
My eyelids are full of sand. Probably because I forgot to put the eye drops in.
I have alot of trouble getting some word and I almost need a paint by number direction-lol and sometimes they are simple words at that but I just cant see them
I really hate to ask for clues for 4 letter words.....but now and then I have no choice.
I know just what you mean!

How's rose doing?
The Chinook salmon, Oncorhynchus tshawytscha (from the Russian чавыча chavycha), is the largest species in the Pacific salmon (Oncorhynchus) genus. Other commonly used names for the species include king salmon, Quinnat salmon, spring salmon and Ty 4 salmon
Ahh now i understand.
And the TY 6/30 does not plural :-(
{{zzoozz}}
I take it the operation went without a hitch, Ruby?
Ok time to see how my parents are...Thank you for the clues babblers. Bye for now.

How's the tooth doing, Crossy?
it is stable for now, liz.the infection in my gums is going down,i am taking antibiotics and see the dentist in 2 days to determine where we go from here
Are you able to eat solid food now?
if i am very, very careful,i can eat, most solid food on right side only, but i must be very selective, nothing real hard or crunchy
i also have a rx mouthwash i must swill with twice a day
Still progress! Hope the dentist has good news for you when you see him / her.
as do i!
*shudder* poor crossy, been there so many times... only have two of my own left now (they help anchor my bottom partial so we try to keep them.) best of luck with it.
this practice is an interesting one in that it is three brothers and one sister, all dentists
wow!
It's a family affair! (To be sung but only if you're more tuneful than me)
I used to know a set of two brothers and one sister who were all in medical school at the same time, wonder if they all made it through.
they converted a large victorian home here in town and they have 5 rooms all i dentical that they can do the work in at any given time and they just rotate from one to the other as the x-ray techs get them all done and placed
Very neat!
neat!
if you are on gas or pills, you get one of the three downstairs rooms,if you are local shot only, you can manage the stairs to one of the two upstairs rooms
Sounds very well organised.
good plan, I think. have never had gas myself.
guess they had a few tumbles down those stairs before they worked it all out though
lol
typical grandiose big curved spiral staircase
amplifies the dizziness, lol
we are so used to modern buildings now,i pause everytime i look at that stair case and imagine the time and wood it took to construct suck a thing
such
At least you have something to take your mind off the dental work then!
i cringe every time I see another local large old home flattened, has been happening a lot here lately. I always hope someone at least took out the pretty parts first.
trying to resist using lickety but think I'll have to very soon.
here,we have people who save the good parts. there is quite a market for it
I had to use lickety for the J, I admit.
After living in the UK, I just laugh at what is considered old here.
the old hardware, dorrs, trim, those wonderful old radiators
fireplace mantles, built-in cabinets - yes, I love it all!
Ruru clued the j this afternoon, but otherwise I think I'd'v needed help with that.
i know liz,saw a home for sale once in a U.K liting was a in town structure.7 foot ceilings not too old though, look at the lintle to see it was built during the black plague
There's a hotel not far from here, which boast of being built in 1867 or something similar!
I recall how confused our kids were once, when we were in an older home and they first saw a transom - I had to explain it.
boasts
this home was 1188 or 12 88 or something like that.was amazing
My typing's off this evening!
"mommy, why is there a window above the door?"
love transoms!! we used to put small fans in them to move air when we used to heat with wood
Some really old buildings in the UK.
good morning all
howdy,teach
Hi wvt :)
Hello, everyone!
Hi mimi :)
((Liz)) How are you?
I'm fine thanks - you? How was your meet-up with Aloy?
It was wonderful..watched the mountain sunset and then city lights while having a terrific salmon dinner. Aloy is a great lady. She posted a picture of the sunset on the Babble community Facebook.
I'll check it out!
Glad you had a good time.
Beautiful pic, Mimi :)
It was a night I'll always remember. Such good conversation with an intelligent woman and she has great heart....I'm happy to have made such an excellent new friend.
I'm really happy for you :)
howdy ((mimi))
Sure would like to come to Australia! Always wanted to visit there. Maybe next year, Liz...you game for that?
((crossy)) Did you see my request for your beef stew crock pot recipe yesterday?
Why not?
I would recommend Australia to everyone!
It would be fun to plan an excursion with other Babblers...we'll have to work on that.
We're fairly wide-spread here - don't forget how big Aus is but still, who knows? It would be fun!
Diz has posted on the fb site to let her know about any planned trips down under!
i will dig it up for you after classes today, mimi
I saw her post. I'd really love to see New Zealand.
Me too - hope to go there with friends from England. Lots to plan for that!
There's also so much of Aus that I haven't seen yet.
Thanks, crossy. If it's too much trouble, don't worry about it. I thought you might just have it in your head since you mentioned making it with the rest of the beef roast. I'm sure I can find one easily enough.
How's the maths going, Crossy?
I've been lucky to have seen most of the United States. I've driven cross-country 12 times, different routes. We have it all here.
day one was ok,but am very shakey about it all.will see how it goes
That's awesome Mimi - funny but people I've met here are reluctant to even drive 40 miles down the coast!
but i must fill this one hole and there is nothing for it but to put my head down and charge into it
I was dreading my algebra classes, crossy. All math ever did for me was lower my grade point average! Unfortunately, I had to quit school abrupty...again..so didn't take them.
I'm sure it'll be OK Crossy - just ask if you don't understand. Don't let them go further until you do understand. I hate maths, so sympathise.
lol, liz, here,we once drove 2 hours for a good burger lol
We drive here but we talked about moving down to the other end of the coast - about 20 miles and people think that's so far away. Still we hope to move there one day.
When I lived in L.A., I would drive up the coast to San Francisco every chance I got...just for the weekend. That drive is a vacation in and of itself...just breathtakingly beautiful.
i was the one who loved math - logical - later loved teaching math to kids
Teaching maths to kids really helped me understand it much better than when I was taught it in school. I hope that the kids that I taught maths fared better than I did!
we had a cottage once, was so remote, you packed food for 2 weeks because it was one hour on bush trails at a crawl,30 on rutted dirt road, then an hour on the pavement to the closest grocers
Teach, I was fortunate that my (now ex) husband was great at math, so he helped the kids. My area is English and any kind of writing.
That's remote!
English was my area too.
i loved my english class and i have another after 5 weeks of this math
Enjoyed English and literature, but not excited about history (taught too often as just memorizing daetes)
Almost 11.00 here - time to head towards bed! Or to think about it anyway. So, hugs to all and enjoy your days.
have a good sleep,liz
I've been writing all my life...wrote a one-act play when I was 10. Since I have no work for a week, going to try to buckle down and get more writing done on my book.
good night liz
you should of entered the november writing conjtest, mimi
Night, Liz.
i may give it a go next year
I'm kind of weird, crossy...don't like competitions when it comes to writing or to singing...just seems wrong somehow to me. I never understand how they can take so many different styles and narrow the "prize" down to just one.
30 days,50,000 words,all rough draft
this one is just supposed to get the creative juices flowing, nothing more
I'm only competitive with myself.
I know many people like shows like American Idol and others but I find them annoying and upsetting....yeah...I know I'm strange.
...kind of like this grid today!
don't watch them either - enjoy the songs but don't ever agree with the judges
want some real fun mimi? try using a speech-to-type program like dragon naturally speaking for your next book.once you train the program to your voice, you can dictate to it at 160wpm and it will type it out for you
Don't even get me started on voice recognition technology, crossy...that's what caused all of us transcriptionists to be out of work!
crossy tip-toes away...
Teach, in my opinion, we stress competition and winning way too much in this country. Whatever happened to being proud of personal achievement in and of itself?
LOL, crossy....no, don't go!
I actually walking away from singing when I was young because I was starting to get too much recognition and never wanted to be famous....like I said, I'm weird.
i play m,ymusic for my own enjoyment and enjoy playing for others to share this, but i would not want to think i had to compete
we did find that after a long time of just playing together that we wanted to perform for others - this gave us a goal of polishing" up some of the music to a better level
Exactly...I enjoy the whole process of singing...it brings me a joy like nothing else does. I'm classically trained in voice but I love to belt out classic rock...until 3 years ago, still sang with a classic rock band at corporate parties and such. Hated singing every night in clubs, though...became a job...so I stopped. Loved music too much for it to become a chore.
Could I get a clue for ja5, please?
don't have the J - but wioll help look
set your hat at a ja6 angle, drop a vowel from the middle
Fabulous clue, dan!
thanks got it
thnx dan
yw
Dan, I just got Christmas toys for my grandsons (ages 2-1/2 and 1) and am dying to open them and play with them myself! Isn't it great to play with toys again with our little ones?
yes!
The best gift my kids ever got was a set of different shapes of plain pine blocks...they played with those for years. So I just got a set of 110 for the boys. I remember playing on the floor and making houses and roads and having such a great time.
mrs2bit will bequeath her heirloom dollhouse to the little miss in a couple years, so we are looking for a sturdier substitute in the meantime, as she's fascinated by the fragile one
I found one in the shape of a rocket ship that I am lobbying for!
io5/14, please?
Dollhouses are wonderful. I have a really old metal one with metal furniture that I've used for years at Christmas as a "mouse house." I've collected Christmas mice for a long time, so they live in that house with Christmas lights to show them off.
io + i know what you *** last summer

Well, being Board-certified is not required but sure is advisable.

Oh, I know the truth, o-o. I am not kidding myself at all.
The test was every 7 yrs but stretched to 10 yrs, so I last took it in 2003.
n 4 5. Bit like a skirt that reaches your calf but starts with an m
The first 2 exams I took were at home with textbooks available. The last one and yesterday's were at exam centers.

hi Judi and Kaplan
ty Annie
I am so tired . Why do I have yet another dr appt.
I often say that Kaplan. Either I have an appointment, or the dogs have to go to the Vet
I think it is important not to have busy days when tired. If being tired is a chronic condition, the condition needs to be dealt with.
Take time to stop and smell the pillow.
nice, judi
Makes sense .... I try to be awake when not sleeping.

i'm at 50 words right now, got 64 left...

thanks
i am down to three....guessing helped a lot.... ;o)

ijust did see a neat thing, though, making from scratch or recycling gingerbread housed for the birds. using seeds, dried corn, suet as snow
If not ea6/24 cookies, frosting then mod podging should work
i guess it is worth a try.
i would love to make a house for the birds
Most birds are gone here until spring
well, off to figure out food... *poof*
the meat eaters go but the others tend to stay. when they are fed, some stay all year long.
back to find 16 more
finito! (most of 'em were gerunds and plurals)
congrats!
aw, ty penquis
congrats gwen :)
yw...
i'm back and feeling slow and probably won't get much more done...
maybe i'll sit and read my book for a while pretty soon
i have 38 to go
i found a lot of words by just guessing...
yeah, trying that... listing now
i've got 34 to go now...
stuck on a couple of an words
the first an5, and the third an5
oh found the third one just now
any clue for the first an5?
like longing....three consonant ending
more like anxiety than longing...
ty pen and good morning all :)
hmm not getting it :/
German sounding word - full of an 5
teenager girls are full of an***
Now, like you, Rows, I've got to find the 3rd an word!
ahh yes thanks :)
just change the last vowel of the previous an5
an alt spelling of the one above it
it's the first an word....isn't it??
oh sorry....i did not notice liz's post
nm - Must have babble blindness because I can only see a sometimes vowel that can exchange for the final vowel!
change direction perhaps?
Duh!
ty
babble blindness, that's funny 8-)
Using the wrong 2nd vowel!
:)
Gwen - meant to say that I would never have spoiled the Dr Who for you. When you said you hadn't seen it, I said no more!
i almost always miss the word "nine" -- no idea why
I find more words when facing the monitor
thanks, lizlin. unfortunately others have spoiled it for me. grrrrrrrr!
That's so hard. I avoided fb on the morning that we were going to watch it.
but, i am indeed looking forward to DW number 12
Yes - it'll be interesting with an older doctor.
i'm gonna miss matt smith
yup, gonna miss 11, but hey, that's how the show has kept on going all this time
Yes, me too but I got over missing David Tennant because Matt Smith was quickly the doctor, so I hope that it'll be the same this time.
di 6 / 27 pls?
yeah... it's big shoes to fill though
di6, fancy word for eat6
biggest shoes in tv history !!!
ty! how did I miss that gerund? Thought I'd tried most of them!
when there' five Is in the grid, and at least two Ts, Ns, Ms, and Ds, things get interesting
bigger than bozo's shoes !!
(reflecting on the fact that there was probably not a bozo in australia or honduras)
Interesting but don't know about bozo's shoes!
just a clown with really big shoes
Figured something like that.
The largest feet ever measured were the feet of Robert Pershing Wadlow, of Alton Illinois, whose shoe size is 37AA (47 cm, 18½ in long)
He must've been pretty tall, too.
Fireworks
At age 18, he had reached eight feet, four inches tall, and weighed 390 pounds
he was also the tallest ever human being (i once sold a biography of him; he was a shoe salesman)
Yippee, Liz!
wtg lizlin !!!!!!!
ty - any clues before I go and make a very belated start to the day?
That's tall!
Guess not, so have a good evening all :)
well, i'm off to eat and watch some doctor who, bye all
