it's amazing, greek orthodox easter, our easter and passover all fall together this year.

Last year, Flosey - July. Sadly because we were on an organised tour, we weren't able to catch up with you or Jilli - we had no spare time in Vancouver or Victoria.
And it's a great memory.
ah, it must be, I've never seen Alaska - I do have a vague memory of you talking about a trip
I'd've loved longer there - great cities. Though couldn't believe how much Vancouver had grown, since I was there in the 70s.
I'd really recommend the Inside Passage Cruise, if you could do it. It's amazing.
oh, that's for sure - we lived in Vancouver 1 school year, l962-3 - back then I didn't think of driving anywhere, now I don't even know my way around anymore
When my dad worked there, you could see the green roof of the hotel Vancouver from the North Shore - not now - just a wall of glass!
was talking about that cruise with daughter - she was trying to plan a girlie time, don't think it's going to happen
If you could make it happen, I'm sure you wouldn't regret it.

mari, you need to have the diagnostic test, first. your GP should be able to request it. the surgery? look for a plastic surgeon who specialises in hands.
I have been messaging my hands. That makes them feel a little. better.
mari, please don't leave it too late. my mother did...and ended up with a limp hand with no feeling in it.

At night it is really bad.
How old is the puppy? If he was just separated from his mother, that is natural.
four months and he has been with us for a month.
How about a hot water bottle to remind him of his mother's heat.
We tried his crate in our bedroom last night and it was even worse.
4 months is old enough to be separate from his mother. We've always slept with our dogs, but I wouldn't suggest that if you don't want to do it forever
I wouldn't have his crate in your room if that made it worse.
he is not fully potty trained and the cats eat the food in our bedroom, so I cannot let him just be free
Right now, for instance, he is in his play area behind me. The cat was just there and he is whining for the cat, who has now moved on. I am ignoring him, but I would like him to stop whining.
I have to do something for a while. Can he sleep with the cats? I will be back after breakfast

The sign out function in Yahoo mail is a drop down, from under your name at the top. The ads don't interfere with it.

I help our postal employees. I save all the junk mail, including all those 3rd class postage paid, bulk return envelopes. Now when I get enough junk mail, I put it all in a box, grab a return envelope at random, tape it to the box, and mail the entire thing to one of those who sent it all in the first place. (remember, there is no weight restriction on those bulk pre-paid envelopes) Keeps our valued postal workers working and I do not fill up my recycle box quite as fast.

I take sicko days
In teaching, we could take time when we were sick but there weren't specific days. Self certification after 3 days and medical certificate from doctor after 5 days.
Still got paid in full.
But unless we had a doctors note we couldn't say how long we'd be off for
we are allowed to call in 4 days in a row without them batting an eye
I'm going to figure out how to incorporate "take a sickie" into my vocabulary. It will have nothing to do with sick days though.

I think it's insulting for an employer to demand a doctor's note.
I have a case of workers comp. and now i have to go to the doctor every 2 weeks to get the OK to stay working
I agree - it means a lack of trust - but then again, I know some people who would've taken full advantage of that.
a kid chipped a tooth so i had to get it fixed by the dentist .. and doing WC is soooooooo complicated.
Workmen's comp is such BS. They will do anything not to pay.
