insurance?
ru, do you carry earthquake insurance there?
sorry, lag here
my sister experienced the christchurch earthquakes and in fixing the house the builders created a leak in the roof. Still there 2 years later
friends of ours told us that many things are not covered by earthquake insurance
no I don't
I wish I was a martini drinker.. I could have had it shaken without effort
it is pretty expensive for not much coverage, if I have been informed properly
they don't cover jack dee. it's a rip-off
and it takes forever to collect anything
just as well you kept your sense of humour ru
that is what our friends told us... true catastrophe insurance, not much else
always have that Jack :D

good morning all
good morning sprite~
hey saan :) How are you today?
good! a bit sleepy though, how about you? sleeping better?
{{hugs}} my darling sprite
this night was pretty ok dreamwise, thanks :)
hello dear rose *hugs* And how are you today, darling?
that is good.
i am cold, slept like a log, and have done the week's shopping. been to doctor. medical forms filled out. she was very supportive, and repetitively said she wanted to be sure that she wrote exactly what the lawyer wanted.
awesome, rose. Good news all over.
sprite, i am also feeling better mentally/emotionally. i feel motivated again. * fingers crossed *
am so happy for you, rose! That sounds so good. *hugs*
i so wish i could wave a wand over your way, and have you feel this good.
Tink should be a word! Hello all late flip ((hugs to all)) Ruru had an earthquake?
hey mel! Long time no see. And I agree, good word. Give me a fun def and I will add it to our dictionary.
yes, mel, about 2-3 weeks ago. the after shocks have been really bad.
When I cannot get something right in the dollhouse I tink around with it until works!
Oh I though he had another more recent one today.
I use tink all the time bad grammar I suppose, lol
hehehe as short for tinker
omg, i hope not. the poor man has only just recovered from the bruising.
Yes poor thing.
Yes poor thing.
ks killed
yay sprite.
Who got killed?
all the K-words
Oh never mind lol
:D I have this slight K phobia... must get them out of the way before I can enjoy babble
I knew that lol years ago there was a grid with like 20 K words and I think it was Jellen and I who were talking about how you were not going to like it.
I think I remember that one, lol. My first thought was: I don't even KNOW that many K words!
I was trying to remember the other day how long I have been playing babble seems like forever.
you started in June 2007
you paid your dues june 2007
oh, snap sprite...lol
*grin*
Sure seems like longer than that
How did you see that?
before that, you probably played too, just not as a pro player.
love your grins hun. xoxox
it is in the right upper corner of your profile
mel, it's in your profile
you and me, rose, sister of my soul :D
oh, lord...* shut up rose *
Lol now ladies! And now I must say bbl need to lock up the house :)
ok mel, lovely to touch base with you
take care, mel
so what did you do yesterday, sprite, and what is onthe books for today?
lolol, nosy, ain't i ?
yesterday I kept a low profile, didn't feel too well, back ac6 and all. Just laundry and some administration. Today I must shop groceries and cook. But Tim didn't do the dishes and the kitchen is a mess. Can't cook there, sigh.
could you fill the sink with hot water etc, and just do a few at a time? i hate cooking with dirty dishes around me.
here's a thought...if you do the dishes, then Tim can cook the meal...is that a possibility?
I could, but that means I am repairing Tim's slack once again.
or...LOLOLOL....hand Tim a frozen meat pie and tell him that is his dinner...
even that we have done at some point, lol. Well, just sent him a text to inquire, we will see.
and put it on a dirty dinner plate...
name it and we tried it, rose, lol. Ah, text message, must be Tim. Let's see.
he really does need to wake up to himself. he has duties, and it is not a heavy load...
he forgot it was his day to do dishes yesterday... he will come home to do it in his free hour. Do you have a name for that, in english? A free hour in between lessons?
yeah, a free period.
ah ok, thanks :) Here it is called a 'tussenuur' meaning literally 'an in-between-hour'
at least he is owning up to it...that is a major step forward.
yes it is. He takes responsibility for it too, so all is well.
great. perhaps a soupcon of praise for him taking ownership might be a good idea.
yes, will certainly tell him that, rose
looks like he is starting to grow up :)
it did have to happen eventually, you just had to survive until he did so...lol
ain't that the truth, lol. It have been a lonnnng 7 years.
back for my last 5.....how rude of people to interrupt my babble time...lol
hehehe hi dizgrannie, what were they thinking!?
it's so difficult, trying to keep your hands to yourself. if anyone outside the family acted and talked like that you would have thrown them out of the house, disowned them, and had the police charge them.
wb diz. how are you hun?
oh yes, rose. That is absolutely true. I have told Tim once that he was lucky to be my son. That if he had been my husband, I'd have divorced him by now.
well my hat is off to you and hubby for making it through a very tough time.
going well thnx Rose....getting gamer on how far I go with my walking frame.....but will not go anywhere without someone with me
thanks, darling. That means a lot to me.
sounds like a wise precaution for now, dizgrannie. Wtg on expanding your range with the walker.
good for you diz.
FWs
wtg diz!
WTG DIZ!!!!
am planning a train trip with hubby by my side, cos I can't lift the 'bloody thing' up and over gutters etc
* giggle * diz, my mother drove us all nuts. to go upwards, either gutters or stairs, she would turn around and walk BACKWARDS pulling the frame after her.
noisy, but smart
it was so dangerous. we tried to have one person in front of her, and one behind.
LOL Rose, going to the local shop, we have a few small slopes....hubby or g/dtr walk behind me pushing me up the slope.
I think it is awesome that you go anyway, diz.
what really pisses me off (excuse the language) are the older more mobile peeps who think they can just stop in front of you and then complain when you accidentally ram them
too true. In stead of taking responsibility and watch where they stop.
Sprite, nothing will keep me housebound.
that is the spirit, diz! Am so glad you feel that way.
oh, i he4 you diz. it was so frustrating when i was in the wheelchair following my ankle surgery.
have had some near misses with the littlies running in front of me - but in my books that is to be expected
it was compounded by the fact i had to have the leg elevated, thus there was another 2-3 feet of leg out in front of me.
doesn't make for easy navigating, rose, lol
yeah the little ones cannot be expected to watch where they are going. That is the parent's job.
Rose, when I was wheelchair bound - hubby or dtr didn't care who they rammed - as long as I wasn't hurt....lol
fortunately because of the plaster initially, then the "moonboot" people walking into the leg, hurt themselves more than they hurt me.
*renames her soul sister to battleram rose*
lol dizgrannie!
* giggle*
Funniest thing was earlier this yr (before walker) dtr and I went to the airport to pick up my Tassie g/kids...dtr was on crutches with a broken foot...the airline gave us a wheelchair.....here I am pushing the wheelchair and dtr holding the crutches out in front of her....peoples soon moved.....hehehe
lol!
battling rose, battling rose, why you battle, no-one knows.
sometimes we battle because the only other alternative would be to give up and die.
anyways me is off for now....g/kids want their dinner. xoxo
bye dizgrannie, have fun
take care, diz. enjoy your evening.
Hi all :) hugs, friends.
hello Liz! :) *hugs*
how is your internet?
g'day liz girl. internet issues done and dusted?
Sorted! Was their problem. Not us.
*winks at rose*
Sorted remotely by them.
ah am glad! And glad to have you back with us as well.
Everything good with both of you?
nice, liz. good to have you back in the winners circle.
all well here
fireflies
very good thanx liz. last magnesium infusion is really kicking in. i am cold, i slept like a log, and did the week's shopping today.
Congrats, sprite. Glad I caugtht you!
WTG SPRITE!!!
:D thank you, both. Have a great evening, dear friends. *hugs* and lots of love.
enjoy your day, dear friend. xoxox
Have a great day. Hugs.
Have the cramps eased, Rose?
yes, liz, finally. it seems to take a few days for the mag infusion to have an effect, then i feel almost 'normal'.
Sounds like progress :)
it feels so great to be cold....the constant high body temps were very debilitating.
Lol! And you want to come up here???!!! Lol!
Seriously though. I understand what you mean.
i saw my own dr today. she felt obligated to examine my knee. liz, it almost 9 months and a gentle squeeze to check the pain, nearly sent me to the ceiling. and it is still very swollen.
That's not so good. Surely that shouldn't still be like that? Or do you think the work exacerbated it?
i really need to get back into the pool and work in deep water. probably the work, hun. and the case for conciliation is building momentum.
Can you not use a local pool and try and replicate some of the exercises the therapist did with you?
oh, i forgot to mention. doctor has written the letter to say i need on-going physio and hydro. so i can now go back to my routine.
I guess it's not as simple as that.
That's good - so when will you start?
will ring tomorrow and get the next available appointment with physio as we need to work out a new set of exercises.
Good :)
i am not allowed back in the pool until she examines me again.
That makes good sense.
the wonderful thing is that i am starting to be motivated again.
Like what You're saying :)
taking a break. will bbl xoxox
kier
oops..sorry
hello anybody?
quick half but no nbt
Hi ruby
Hi Dianne
love that gerund ending!
How are things going today?
gentle rain (much needed) but mild.
husband is quiet, trying to stay out of his way
How about you?
Just "lie low" and enjoy the gentle rain :)
Because we had so much rain in July and August, the lawn is green and there are 8 different kind of roses at once
Have you been cutting them for inside?
whoot !!! {{hugs}} ruby...{{hugs}} dianne
I say lawn rather than grass because it' mostly weeds (wildflowers lol) but as long as it's cut, it looks fine
Hi rose - all good with you?
no, I cut the hydrangeas for inside because the roses make the garden look beautiful and we can see the garden from most roms
hello {{rosie}}
fyi...my last magnesium infusion has had a wonderful effect on me.
Good to hear that rose.
i am sleeping, i am moving about, i am motivated. i am champing at the bit. oh....and i feel COLD....
Burt is subject to cramps, too, but I make him a bouillon and they "magically" go away. I think he wants the attention.....lol
He won't let me "work" the cramps out
ruby, does your bouillon have salt in it?
ye, I think that's what works. Also, I stay after him to keep drinking water all day
good tactic, ruby. you are right on the button, hun.
when I get a cramp I just smush it away. Of course it hurts, but then it's gone. He's a sissy about "massage pain"
sorry dianne....i hope i haven't interrupted you and ruby chatting. i'll shut up now.
not to worry, rosie, I'm off to "Sprite's resto" for lunch. See you kids later
*woof*
oh, my....ruby be very glad you aren't around when i have one of my cramps. i can't bear to be touched, even if i am screaming at the top of my lungs.
enjoy, ruby...you deserve it.
How is the house reno coming along?
* giggle * dianne, the chimney is down to half. it doesn't help that the bricks have been rendered with plaster. and some of the cement is extremely hard. don just keeps plugging away at it.
It will just take a bit of time but you must be getting excited about the new kitchen/
absolutely, dianne. just seeing jericho fall is good. fortunately the hot weather has not yet started so don can work in reasonable comfort.
If he could get all the outside work done before it get hot that would be great.
lol...dianne we have so much to do.
What about getting a contractor to finish up the "heavy" work?
oh good lord...no....he absolutely refuses to let me do that. but he has conceded that his nephew, who is a trained plasterer may do the walls. * rolls eyes *
Men can be so stubborn.
babble hiccup
and he has conceded that a builder will instal the new fittings.
Have you gone window shopping for the things you want in the kitchen?
i have a catalogue from a large hardware store. i am insistent that all the cupboards will actually be drawers. no more grovelling to see what is on the bottom shelf.
Good idea. Better on he back.
and i have seen a pantry which consists of a roll out panel with wire baskets. and found large drawers to go under the washing machine and dryer, which stote heaps of stuff, and elevate the appliances up about 10"
* store *
we have already bought the double bowl sink, and the benchtop cooker. just need the wall oven and grill, both separate of course.
That's a great idea about the storage under the washer & dryer.
Sounds wonderful, Rose.
Hi Liz
i think so too, dianne. roll out the drawer for all your laundry such...like prewash spray, detergent, powder bleach. cloths...the list is endless
wb liz girl
Hi Dianne
Only here for a minute.
If you have a microwave, put it at a sensible height!
and i have found the cutest trough. it is rectangular, and will take my small rectangular bucket perfectly.
I've got to get going and put something together for dinner. Take care.
later, dianne. enjoy hun
Enjoy your evening, Dianne.
liz, we are elevating the bench he6s by about 4 inches.
which makes the bottom cupboard drawer about 4 inches above floor he6.
So many microwaves here are up way to high. When we did our kitchen, we put ours at a he6, which suited us!
And thanks for he 6 :)
and don is going to instal a completely separate pipe for the washing machine hose.
Time for me to go and be hubby sociable. Hugs again, Rose.
Look forward to seeing it all one day.
xoxoxox, liz girl
Especially your flowers.
liz !!! so am i !!!!
Good morning all
Sheesh, I just heard that they have allowed women to become members at St. Andrews. Today, in 2014. And, a lot of members voted against it.
good morning everyone. What was the final tally with Scotland?
55% no 45% yes
figured as much. was a narrow shave here as well when Quebec gave it a go
though ours was much tighter
a 1.2% spread
there was an interesting difference in ages for yes and no with the over 55 voting no
the older being the predominant no vote?
... but do you remember what Rene Levesque said the first time they lost?
yes.
yup heard a smuch
something about we will get them nex time
... a la prochain ... ... until next time
well, there was no next time
g'day sukee, crossy and dosef
yes there was ... he said in in 1980 ... then they almost took it in 1995 ... ... sure they've lost impact since then ... but it any over
it has been amazing to watch
the Parti Québécois is not what it once was and after some concessions were made after that narrow vote everyone was more at ease. I doubt the chance will ever pass this way again
sorry missed a g'day. g'day lady
morning rose
((rose))
hey ya mate. all is well in my corner of the world. et vous?
comme si comme sa
not bad, then. my magnesium infusion has kicked in wonderfully. i am sleeping, i am COLD and i am motivated. pain is down to a minimum...except if you poke it as my doctor found out today.
crossy, i'm a tad worried mate. it is 9 months post-op. my knee is still swollen and very sore. darn it!! i don't want to go into hospital again...
g'day, Rose! hi everyone!
sorry....i should have asked how the mrs is faring. is she okay also?
{{hugs}} lbdawger
poor rose:(( that knee just keeps giving you grief:(
all the magnesuim is for cramps?
all that swelling can't be good, especially after 9 months.
my mrs is well and enjoying taking classes again:) Mine are going good as well and am down to the last two and a half week
no, mate. it is for the fibromyalgia which includes sleep disturbances, cramps, nausea, "burning"{ episodes....and the underlying pain caused by quivering muscles.
howdy lbd
sent you some mail grannyrose. two of them
I am glad it is easing your disconfort at night rose
thanx mate
i am so sorry mate. but i think my email gave you some insight, yes?
mate, have already done what you suggested.
I read it, yes. Now I and finished with the whole thing and just wish to enjoy this game and chatting with you and the others in the morning
i am*
I often get up at 05:30 am our time just to touch base with all my aussie friends:)
was up at 04:00 am today because it was bladder o'clock :(
xoxox crossy. and i appreciate your chatting with me.
so how are you travelling with the grid? do you need a clue? happy to oblige, mate.
what does the doctor say about your knee and its progress or lack of it?
just getting going with the grid, was off sifting through my mail:)
GP agrees there is a problem. she has filled out the medical report for the disability support pension. and says she wants to write only the things which will support my claim. workcover is going down !!
and she pain management doctor is very incensed on my behalf for the way i have been treated. he is so wanting to get on the stand in court.
you get those buggers into a corner and take a big bite out of their arse! But I meant as far as treatment goes. What can so to to ease the swelling, ease your pain and speed th healing process?
do*
I cannot type this morn:(
good thing I am only taking University English where good typing and proper spelling are not needed:)))
crossy, with the letter from my GP, i am going back to physio and hydro. exercising in deep water helps with the swelling and pain. pain management doctor wants to hospitalise me for a narcotic infusion, to get the pain under control, and he wants to inject the damaged nerves to block the pain from them.
oh boy:(
though the hydrotherapy sounds nice
* giggle * i told him he will have to knock me out to inject the nerves...
so they want to use nerve blocking tactics to deal with the pain? good grief. Guess it means the pain and its cause will still be there, you will just no longer feel it. I remember when my son had a strangulated hernia as a child. they knocked him out and gave him moprhine foam up is caboose. I will never forget that. the little guy was out light a light but his heart rate was still through the roof.
mate, sometimes everything hurts...and i nearly go nuts trying to stay nice and polite. lately i have decided...if i need the oral morphine, i will take it. but as i said, the magnesium infusions are finally kicking in...i have had some relief.
can you imagine? A morphine-foam suspension up yer backside with your butt cheeks taped shut? lol. we ended up having to drive the kid down to the big hospital in the city that way
i didn't realise that i was having so much pain. the doctor pointed out what i was experiencing was not normal.
sadlu it becomes the "new" normal and is not healthy
sadly*
poor little man!! such an uncomfortable thing to have to endure. i hope it didn't have a lasting impact on him.
Nope he is fine now. He is 20 and is taller than his dad and 190 ponds of solid beef eating me out of house and home
pounds
lolol....as they do, mate, as they do. they are voracious eaters at that age. plus they graze all the time. 5 minutes without food within re5 just about kills them. i know, have raised 3 of the 'little' darlings.
going to get meds ready. brb
the "kid" has first breakfast when we awaken, just something small like 4 or 6 slices of toast with peanut butter and jelly and a heaping bowl of Cork Flakes, then it is off to school where he has his second breakfast of yogurt with granola clusters and a toasted bagel with cream cheese. After he comes home it is a nice lunch of stew and crackers followed by a 4 pm afternoon snack of 3 or 4 pieces of fruit. Now comes a full dinner folled 2 hours later by a night time snack.
mg {crossy}}
LOL!
O*
((ruby,car))
Corn*
He sonds like an eating machine
That he is.
I swear, I watch that kid eat enough food for a family of three in a given day
... 100 words ... 21 of them are gerunds ... and I think I missed some ... ... gotta go do something ... ... ... if you can type it ... put "ing" on the end of it ... ... later days
Good thing is that he is now big enough that I can use him as a bodyguard:)

Good grief...what a stoopid morning here.
howdy trif
whats going on dear?
We overslept...haven't even gotten Zack to school yet. Every time i try to speak, Abby starts babbling on about the weather.
feed the kids a fast brekkie, turn on the weather channel for abby and sit back and enjoy a coffee
and abby has a problem with the weather?? or is she trying to divert your attention?
* giggle * crossy's solution looks good.
95 and see you later, kids
is 3 c atm we have frost warning issued!
No, she just needs to be talking...regardless of anyone else who may be midsentence
ugh, crossy, i like cold...but not that cold...you may keep it, mate.

What's happening here?
Good Morning all
* giggle * as little as possible...g'day bichon
Hi rose. About our thoughts of a Tasmania trip. We found out the price of airfare to Australia and have thought twice
ugh, bichon....what a pity!!
Hello, everyone!
ok. It is off to class for Crossy. TC all and happy babbling!
I would so much love to go to Australia and New Zealand, too, but the cost is prohibitive.
We've been to NZ, South Island and is well worth the trip. But airfares were so much cheaper then
later crossy. and g'day mim i
My only chance to travel would be if I finish writing this book and it sells very well.
((rose))
Rose, you know when you get to the U.S., I'm happy to give you a place to stay and show you the Grand Canyon!
* grins * hello dearest
my dear, i know. i am in great danger of being thoroughly spoiled.
BTW, I got my settlement money finally!! Can't spend that, though...investing most of it for the future.
Oh, yes...we will definitely spoil you!
good for you mimi.....and when i get my compensation ??? nothing will be spared...i am going to enjoy it to the max.
I wish I could have more fun with mine but I need the security of knowing it will be there when I'm older and need it. I never want to be dependent on anyone else ever again. I am having a little fun with it, though...got to do that!
of course, mimi. you need a little fun in your life...after all you have been through.
This is a really good time in my life. Now, however, there's a small shadow since my biological mother has tried to go behind my back and contact my children...that's a whole other issue and I'm just trying to ignore her and so are my children.
fortunately, with don owning our home outright, the investment property, both supers, and both inheritances, plus hopefully my compensation, the two of us are sitting pretty for the first time in our lives.
That's wonderful, rose...I'm so happy for you.
huh ?? mimi ?? just what is she trying to prove, hun ??
settlement, mimi?
and helloooo mixi.
Ever since I met her when I was 22 she has continually done and said things that hurt me, so I ceased contact with her entirely several years ago. I made the mistake of trying to contact two of my half-siblings on FB and they apparently let her know. So now she's trying to access my children in "retaliation." Sick and twisted....she always must be in control.
HI granny!
Hi, mixi! Yes, I took Social Security to court and won the back money I was denied after my heart attack. It has taken over TWO years to get it.
doesn't sound like fun mimi.
tadone!! finito! hello mimi, mixi, bichon, trif, lady, and anyone else I missed and lurkers.
Hi, there, dawg!!
ugh, mimi. have you read up anything about narcissistic parents?
WTG LBDAWGER!!!
Just been to visit some cousins, and had a concert in memory of my uncle. met a second cousin once removed.
my first word is da7:)
x2
smarty, mlf. well done
Since my background is psychology, yes, I know all about it. I'm grateful every day that woman did not raise me. The five she did raise pretty much were all screwed up in some way. You'd think at age 83 she'd calm it down a tad, but, no....that won't happen.
lol thanks granny
I would suspect that the behavior is escalating, mimi.
* rolls eyes * oh yeah, mim i. mine didn't settle until she died at the age of 87.
oh and mlf ?? g'day hun.
If she escalates any more than she has over the past many years, her head may explode! ...not a bad outcome.
Yes, hello, ML!!!
hi mimi
ty granny hello to you too
morning, mlf! lol mimi.

Good Morning - Happy Friday Everyone

no, mimi...what you said is not terrible. what my brother said when the mother died is terrible.
ibd
thanks lbd
I just have no patience for people who blame everyone else for their problems. I've made a lot of mistakes that I have paid for but I have no one to blame but myself for most of it.
my brother rang me a few days after...and said....ding dong the witch is dead.
That's awful, rose....what is his problem?
4th column 2nd i ?
not his problem, mimi. it was her. she played ea4 of us off the ot5 4...she was one of the nastiest people i have ever had the misfortune to know.
One of my half-sisters tried to kill her with a knife when she was 17 and on drugs...that is what I was rescued from as a child...thank you, God!

Well, then, he had a reason to feel that way. I was raised with my bio father as my brother (since his mother and her husband adopted me) and he was one of the few people I have ever met who had no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Hello, Molly :-)
Was not aware the gerund had been mentioned. But then again I shoud of known it would of been..lol
Rosie looks sweet :-)
It's like the dolphin alerts and volcano alerts. : D
People should feel free to make these comments without being criticised. Even if it is followed by a smiley face
Okay, I'm not criticizing anyone and the smiley face indicates that I am joking with Zoom. Here we go again.
Yes, here we go again
hello Chrissie. My first chow was Rosie
Please please lets not argue. I know, Molly was joking with me. I do hope people will not get upset here. ((Chrissie)) ((Molly))

Hi ruby, yes I remember. Was she your favourite or was it ruby?

Sorry zooz

Hey everybody. :-)
Hi Soodle :)
Hiya Chrissie :-)
hello friends. *waves wildiy*
Waves back to Bugs
(((Bugs))))
I guess people are happy about the Scottish vote where you are Chrissie
Hugs back Soodle. How are you feeling about the vote today?
I'm very happy that it was a democratic, peaceful decision. Nuff said!
I am bugs. You can see from my flag I count myself as British. I am glad the turnout was so high and the Scottish people got to get a democratic vote.
And as I am married to a Scotsman I love all things Scottish :)
It was quite peaceful from what little news we got over here.It would have been great if they could have gone it alone but it was better to keep all the infrastructure (like banks, money, phones etc) the same.
And I thought that the inclusion of 16 & 17 yr olds to vote was wonderful.
The Scots will always be a separate people with a separate
Jaxx, if you are there, I don't have to worry about him crossing the border next time, lol
culture like the Canadians and Americans.
Yes Soodle, I agree
I like that point too Soodle although I didn't know about it till now. Young people are the future and should be considered
That's true too Bugs.
The UK has so many varied regional cultures
For such a small geographical area
because it has such a long history and was invaded by so many peoples, I think Chrissie. I would so love to visit and see the historical and mythical sites.
The people of Scotland have declared themselves British. Time to take down the borders and make it one big conglomerate.
hich
iche
oops
Well, I for one, was delighted to see such a huge turnout. Fair play to the Scots for participating so well. The majority has spoken. So be it.
at least they are not words.
Yep, the majority has spoken. The people of Scotland would rather be considered British citizens.
Bitchy icon again Molly

I'm here, chrissie and soodle. I am not entirely well but, after a week in bed with migraines, I have decided to join the world again. This Independence thing is a real can of worms. Even Cornwall wants devolution now.
Hi jaxx. Glad I caught you.
Sorry you're not good. Probably stress migraines
I'm not sure I'm following what the problem is to be honest. It kind of appears that Chrissie mistook a comment and made it an issue from what I can see
We now have meetings with a doctor who has decided that Ash is a girl! This goes from bad to worse. I think you are right, Chrissie, it is stress.
No ru, I just take exception to Molly's comments and failed to hold my counsel. Sorry to any other babblers I inadvertantly upset
she was JOKING with Zooz.. they do it all the time. How could you take that as a criticism ? I just don't follow
Goodness jaxx. Is this a real doctor!
I made one comment, it's not me who's dragging this out. Have apologised if I upset anyone else. Please let it be ru
Which is why I have taken to lurking. I too miss the old babble. He is a doctor who deals with young offenders and stops them from becoming permanent offenders. he thinks Ash has problems filtering out extraneouus noise such as in a classroom.
ok. I don't think I saw you apologize to Molly though. I'll drop it.. but I think she didn't start this.
I thought so jaxx. I logged on a week or so back just as you left because of someone's acerbic comments
No, I didn't apologise to Molly. I was hurt when I spoke to you and she tried to say I was someone else
I am off to bed now, Chrissie. My head is unwell and I have a class reunion tomorrow which I would like to go to. Glad your husband can still trek into Scotland when the yen takes him.
Night jaxx. I'm off too. Hope to speak to you soon
Sleep well honey.
Thanks, you too
evening all...
Hello Pinikula. Just doing the four letter words. Rather, finding the last of that number. Leaving 29 on the grid. Not a bad grid but I have coffee waiting. It just smells so nice on this cool evening.
Hi there...I'm just trudging happily away at knocking them out one at a time...if it goes, it goes! :) How are you?
Are you enjoying this evening at twilight? in the gloaming?
something like that...
I'm feeling very content with my lot. Much to be thankful for. And I do enjoy autumn which is almost here.
I can't wait for fall! :o)
(except for some of the imminent headaches that come with school and students)
Since I don't do schools or students anymore, fall has taken on a holiday feeling for me.
I can't wait for that feeling...but will have to be patient! It too, shall come...eventually! :o)
Well, coffee is ready so I'll say good night!
take care!!! :o)
