Good morning everyone:)... 04:45 and I am awake:( I enjoy my new class this term but the only problem is that if i wake up for anything at all in the night, the mind gets turning and I cannot go back to sleep;(
lol...poor crossy. seems to me you need a mantra to slow the mind down. i pray and it seems to work very well, even if i have come awake after a nightmare.

i have found that if i lean on the wall of the shower, most of the muscle spasms go.

Congratulations! That is indeed good news.
They bought a house and realized he couldn't qualify for the loan by himself, so they went to the justice of the peace and got married so they could use her income. They aren't telling anyone, though...they want to do the whole traditional engagement/wedding thing later. She wasn't even supposed to tell me but, hey...I'm Mom!

They've been together 3 years and living together 2 of those. He adores her and treats her very well. He's a former Marine and saw combat in Iraq. They even made a documentary about his group that's on Netflix now...Hell and Back.

I really don't care one way or the other. I think hubby's bonus is based on company profit sharing. Some years, there just ain't much profit (or so they tell us).

Me too, four days of 9-10 hours each at work, dead on my feet. May even have overtime this week. Gotta love having staff pared to bare bones then unexpected illnesses and family deaths.

There are days, despite being a very good RN and still loving caring for people, that I wish I could retire.
Meanwhile, there are all those unemployed people. It seems lopsided that employers have cut to bare bones staff while there are so many people in need of work.
Well, will avoid my usual soapbox on healthcare, I will just say healthcare should not be a business model. I actually think the Ebola will change focus a bit towards the importance of safe care for patients and staff. It is entirely unsafe to work 12 hour shifts and it was only put in place to decrease the number of staff needed.
The very best coordinated healthcare system I ever worked in was the 10 hour shift. Still three shifts but an overlap where care could be coordinated between nurses

It was really nice"sigh* one had the time to round with oncoming nurse. Patients could see their care was coordinated. Much less stressful. And I think you are still able to think clearly.

well, we are going to "The Big Island" and Oahu. The storm is hitting The big Island on Saturday morning and the tragectory is the way the islands go! Originally we were going to start on Oahu for 3 days and the rest of the time as going to be on the big island, we are reversing it now.
Nice, we did the same thing two years ago. Caught the Kona Coffee festival which is one of the first weeks in November. And we flew over to Honolulu for an overnight stay.
