sorry for delay
np's flosey. this grid is lovely until you get to the last 50-70. then it bites.
yes, 63 to go and it's dragging
mind you, I'm dragging too
wow flosey...well done you...
sorry for my de5 also...watching the news...it is so tragic what is happening in our world.
lol, thanks rose, but have been here since just after 10: pm - in and out a bit
it is, and seems almost everywhere!
down to 49 and they'll have to wait for tomorrow, goodnight rose, enjoy the rest of your day
Its down to 8F where i live. Stupid cold for here. Bah.
sweet dreams flosey. i, too, am outta here. going over to visit son and his wife.
huh. the middle E on the left was surprisingly monkeyable.
g'night flosey, sleep well
alon e
hello, nannette, nice to see you.
and i am back. cooee
good morning all
{{hugs}} my darling sprite
*hugs rose* Hello dear friend.
how was your night, darling? and how is your pain today?
both reasonable, thanks sweetie. Great to read you had a good day yourself. Proud of you for not going to do some gardening and stuff.
col.....yeah...me too.
col....chuckling out loud
mgwshc - madly giggling while sipping hot coffee
love it!!!
stidmama and i thought it was more appropriate.
grin, so true
my mother's maiden name is in the grid today. Prosee. How odd.
we just had the loveliest evening. two of my sons, their wives, and the three grandkiddies. delightful. very laid back, a real getting to know you type of evening. son simon's wife, lucinda is still a bit of a mystery to me.
oh wow, how great! The good part of the family together :) Did you get to know her a little better?
yes dear.....trying to sort when we can take deacon and claudia out for the day before school starts back.
such fun :) Am so glad things are going well there at least.
at least...at last... trying to break through lucinda's natural reserve is no mean feat.
good (late) morning
{{rosie|}}
some people are like that. Usually the best kind of people.
{{sprite|}}
good morning ruby :)
{{hugs}} dearest ruby
I'm not too late. yay
you missed the binge and the orgy, but you caught us finishing up the leftovers.
how are you ruby? is your chest pain settling at all?
*licks fingers and wipes mouth* shush sprite....
no, i's at best a steady 4 (and that's with pain meds). At worst it's a 15, but not often, and then, nothing works, not even morphine
aw come on rose, she can help *hands ruby a sponge and a bucket of suds*
praying that there are not too many 15's in your day, ruby
I just have to live with it until it (maybe) heals again. Since the original break was cartilage, it never heals as firmly as bone
*takes bucked and sponge away from ruby* No cleaning for you, lady. Here, have some stroofwaffles, oude jenever and old cheese.
ruby, i am puzzled...surely staples would help...which is why i suggested a chest surgeon.
Evidently not. When I had the original accident, she was the doctor who treated me. Bedrest helps, but she worries that I'll lose muscles if I don't do some work
whoops, pb for me
okay, meds ready for the morning....have taken tonight's meds. if all of a sudden you are chatting to the air...i have gone to sleep....lol.
wb sweetie
sweet dreams
off to Sprite's resto for lunch
bye ruby, enjoy
nice ruby....i hopeyou enjoy it.
sprite, are you having fun with the grid. i really liked it....so many words...
this seems to be a tight grid for one so big, ro4
see y later, sprite. Is Holland on high alert?
always having fun with grids, but not finding this one easy
no, why should we be, ruby?
It eems that the rest of Europe is as well as the US
i made it to 200 without a problem, sprite. some words i have never heard/seen before...
made it to 108 LOL
because of the terrorist attacks, ruby?
why, ruby?
yes, everybody is frightened
guess it is me then. Ran out of steam long before halfway.
yes, it is frightening and yes, people are scared here as well.
ruby, we must go about our usual daily lives. if we don't, the terrorists have succeeded. and brought everyone to a crawl.
phantom: proselyte
i so wanted encore....
so close, and yet so far
strange....that is what don whispers when he crawls into bed after he thinks i am asleep. usually i let him know that it is not so....col
lollll
i love surprising him that way...
I bet!
hellooo???
ah...there we are...nasty hiccup.
hiccup time, sweetie. Hello :)
as i was saying....don loves me surprising him that way
hehehe and I said: I bet!
col...read the words.....they are vice versa....but the response is the same....
lol true
good God i love this man....
you should. He sounds like a keeper :)
as does Tom dearest.
they both have their twisty bits....but what would we do without them?
*giggles* Let's call him Rob, ok? Tim is our son... no tom in da house.
yes they do have their twisty bits. But so do we. I'd hate having to do without my love.
oh dear...i stuffed up again.....i keep getting you and stidmama mixed up...i thought i had it sorted...please tell Rob he is important, from me.
will do :) And don't worry about it.
maybe i need a stick-it note on the laptop...no....i need to get the brain into gear.
I am not great with names either. Faces, now... never forget a face. But names... nah
ah....but can you pick the nose??
only my own
col...
some odd words today
toad's tailbone, lol
sprite, would you like the stat's for the 9's?
and greenland spar. Nice. No thanks darling, just found them.
yay sprite....wonderwoman in the flesh...
the cr is the greenland spar, the ur is the toad's tailbone.
wonderwoman, for sure, lollll. Just good with words. Otherwise... very very normal.
or should I say plain?Normal is a whole other barrel of fish...
I dreamt I was applying for a job at the ministery, justice department, lol.
nah....never plain...such a beautiful person i have met only the on4. you are so indescriably beautiful.
aw sweetie, shucks! Blushing for real.
takes one to know one, you know? :)
Good morning
good morning sukee :)
rose is doing her best not to fall asleep over the keyboard, lol
I am up way to early for a Sunday.
too
sprite, you are on a par with my darling robyn. and for that i continually give my God thanx.
cooee sukee
Hi sprite and rose.
I consider that a huge compliment, rose
poor sukee :( So unpleasant to wake up early on a day you can sleep in!
col....you better sprite...at the time i thought robyn irreplaceable....but you have stepped up to the mark so nicely.
thank-you my dear friend.
she is irreplaceble. But I am glad to be filling the emptiness a little bit.
sprite...the way my God moves is o wonderful....i truly thought that i would never have another confidant like her...but here you are....xoxox
and now, believe it or not...himself has turned the tv off...i do believe we are about to go to bed.
sukee...i do so hope you can go back to sleep soon dear. those last few zzzzz's are so important.
hehehe sleep well, my dear friend. Have fun with Don. And then pretty dreams :)
I'll take an afternoon nap :)
oh afternoon naps are good!
wory
sorry
I must be off too, sorry to leave you, sukee. Family has demands here, lol. *hugs*
When I take one the cat has to lie right beside me. He looks forward to it.
Take care sprite
aw that is so sweet :)
and Rose
Can anyone give me the stats for the U?
ur 8/55
re 7/32 ?
Oh, great. A single 8 - and starting with a vowel. I hate it when that happens. Is it a word I'm likely to have heard of?
Hi all :)
ur8 - fused vertebrae at the posterior end of spinal column of some fishes - does that help :)
Hi Liz
Lol, bojazz, it's just on the tip of my tongue :)
Hi sukee - so happy to read a few days ago that your cat is better :)
Mine too, bojazz ;)
Thanks, yes he seems to be back to normal.
Google here I come
I was so convinced I would lose him last week.
You must be very relieved.
I am, this weekend is definitely a vast improvement over last one.
Let me know if you have any luck, matty
Nope, not yet.
Okay, stomach is grumbling, time for breakfast.
I am thinking my chances of finding this UR are very, very slim
Me neither, Matty
ur8 - currency of France + "sense of fashion"
Have a good day Sukee

OK - how about some H stats now?

Not yet seeing the dude's name - I can only think of two off hand that start with H
Classical Greek mythology - Trojan hero
Got it - thanks!
yw
Clues please for re 7/32
Sorry gran - don't have it yet
past tense of re5/10 - cured or dryed meat/fish
Monkeyed it. Thanks.

Hi and hugs Ruby
{{liz}}
(ruby)
hello to you, Bojazz
About to give up here for the evening - 10.40 pm here - tiring day!
Is it quiet there or is everybody as nervous as here?
Here - lots on the news. People a bit edgy and very unhappy with everything that's going on. Guess not as nervous as in Europe.
quiet - but I don't trust anyone anymore - time to hit the shelters, hunker down, hide - women and children first :)
And from what they say on the news, it's high alert in the US. The state dept. has issued a warning about public places, and that includes just about everything
70 left here for tomorrow. Time for bed. Enjoy your days.
I'm glad we live in a backwaster and have two big dogs to warn us if "tthey" are coming over the wall. LOL |Not!

Hey car -- another Pats fan here! Short nails and clumps of hair missing! Is Harbaugh still whining?!
Yay!!!! Probably!
My hubby was there...haven't heard from him yet!
Hey Car. Congrats!!
Hi Hego.
LOL! I didn't do much but scream at the TV
Car, is he frozen?
Hi Scrabs. Hi All.
Nope...last I heard, he was toasty warm.
Exciting game.
How is the grid?
Just over halfway...good so far!
Good win, but hope they play better next week! At least now we know Edelman has a good arm, just in case!
Fun so far, but I just looked at the list--pro- and re- words will be challenging.
Yes, the MUST play better and more organized.
That play was amazing!
ty
Was wearing my Welker jersey and hoped it wouldn't jinx 'em. Was tempted to put black tape over the name ;) Hubby said next time to buy a jersey for someone retired and not have to worry! His is a Bruschi! Maybe I'll get a Brady next.
Howdy
I was pissed Bellichek wasn't wearing his gray sweatshirt, but it turned out OK.
And yes, I know I spelled his name wrong :(
Now getting text messages from hubby about how sick he is...hungover with a fever. Oh well...I have to go to Vermont at noon...he needs to come home.
Uh, oh.
Too much party.
He had a bad sore throat before he went. There is a bug running rampant around town.
Guess he had to "medicate" to keep warm, poor baby. Hope he's better soon. Will he be at next week's game, too?
No. His friend from high school still has tickets and always offers him at least one playoff game. It is very nice of him!
What kind of a world is it when a girl can't eat her apple without being stared at by the dog?
yay, a big grid for Sunday.. hi all
Sounds like my world.
Hi!
Hiya Aloy.
Gotta run. Will be watching next week -- may need a wig before they're done! Have fun, kids!
your dog likes apples, nut?
bye, mom23.. hagd
Mine does
Bye Mom!
If you're eating, they're interested.
Archer has been very bad lately....Lucy is only eating poached chicken, so Archer has decided he MUST have that too.
My dogs never knew poached chicken existed.
Remy Rabbit not only stares at me when I eat an apple, he jumps on the couch next to me and eats the apple too.
Awwwwww
He was a real find Scrabs.
yup, so cute
My New Jersey sister is coming up on Friday and she will meet Remy and new baby Ryder. <----1 week old today
picture time!
Scarabs graphite did jump into the chair with me but he knows better than to try for food I possess
And we will snowshoe everyday for 6 days. Yay!
How is the baby?
Squeeee!
Those teeth would scare me, Nutty.
Ryder is doing great--breast feeding well--and very content. I hope he continues to have an easy-going temperament. Mama is doing well.
Great
*wanders back in with coffee*
Hey welks!
Scrabs he's extremely gentle. It's his paws you gots to look out for.
reading back, i saw that you're headed to VT this afternoon, car - where?
Ummmm...if needed....I have all the RE words.
Cousin Earth--you are here? Leslie is coming Friday and will stay til the next Thurs AM. We can visit baby Ryder together.
Go Car!
hi welki.. think I'll wander out and find some breakfast, brb
UVM
Going with Trif to drop off Secundo
ahhh - my daughter is relocating to bennington next week
Ah, the second semester begins. How did her first one go?
Fine...definitely a learning experience, but she is doing great and having a wonderful time!
good news
Great. That UVM campus is beautiful.
I'm excited to see it.
The old buildings are stunning. And Burlington is a wonderful small city. When I visited there 9 years ago I was ready to move--progressive town, a lake for kayaking, and rivers, snow, mountains, ....but I am rooted here. So I visited again 2 summers ago.
Lake View Cemetery, Burlington - second only to national cemetery in DC
Nearby Stowe is nice to visit too.
We won't be there very long...just dropping off, and we both have to get back tonight.
an 6?
an 6 here?
Hmmm......

bbl
there is a pr9/72
thnx mary - will look
good morning folks
Clue for that Pr9, please?
Builds off of pr7...not amateur + religious faction
Ah. Ty, Molls.
Got so much to do. Why am I sitting here Babbling?
Gotta make a pot of chili. Gotta stir fry some veggies. Gotta vacuum...
Ina gotta davita baby
wow, you guys...not gonna lie, something WEIRD just happened...I was happily babbling away, and suddenly my screen started closing every few seconds. It happened four or five times. Then, when I finally was able to open babble again, it was COVERED with banner ads and pops up. Never have seen that before! Went into control panel, deleted several "new" programs that had today's date on them, restarted...everything seems okay now.
You gotta quit visiting those porn sites Trif : P
it was North Koreans
hahahahaha molly!
damn!
Do you have malware protection and virus protection running?
I thought so, but guess I need to beef it up.
crazy to watch it happen right before my eyes like that....
Yes you have to be careful, Trif. Some programs are sneaky when you download them as they hide other advertising programs in with them.there is an option when you goto download the programs one is normal or express as they can call it or advanced. I always click on advanced so then you can delete these annoying add-ons and advertisment type programs.
Even if you have malwar and others that will not stop them if you have given permission to download them.
it was just so strange, as I wasnt trying to download anything! just babbling, that's it
You must of downloaded them when you downloaded the new programs you said you downloaded as they had todays date on them? (that was a lot of the word download...lol)
I have an Adware program
I didn't download anything today by choice! suddenly all those ads were there, so I knew something was attacking my pc. So I went into the control panel and downloaded anything with today's date on it to erase any new programs added .
none were added by me
when I head out for vermont I will start a scan running.
Yesm you get bloatware
Good idea!
LOL, Bichon
No seriously. If you go to your programs in the control panel, you'll see them
I have never heard of bloatware?
If you download one program, others tag along and clog up your computer. You have to remove them.
Well, it begs the question, who else uses your computer?
http://tinyurl.com/6gvnnj
tertiare. little bugger
Most people learn the hard and expensive way that sharing a computer with a teenager is not a good idea : D
That is what I am saying..if you download a program normally the free ones. They will come with freeware programs that will watch your internet habits and bombard you with addvertisments.
Also, Google Chrome comes with AdBlock pro which will take care of pop ups and unwanted ads
its such a pisser. I hate sneaky junk like that.
That normally happens whe you click download on a free program and not selecting the option to see what it wants to download and the de-select the ones you do not want them to add..like extra tool bars..etc
Molly, that's the one I use. My son, who works at Google told me about it. But it defeats Google income stream
I wish secondo would get her act together....car and I are ready to roll, but she is still poking along...grrrrr
I agree that it stops the pop-ups but it has not stopped the program from being on your computer and still using up your computer resources.
okay...time to get this show on the long, long road. Peace to all, and wishing you no pop ups! xoxox
LOL have a great day, Trif :-)
I don't envy anyone 8 hours on the road
No that is a long time..ugh
Especially if you are just dropping someone off and turning around and heading back home.
Not seeing your ending for the pr9, Molly any chance of an extra nudge please?
chop up a cadaver zooz
or a frog in a lab class
you have to do that once they croak
Ahh thank you..did not know it could be PT
LOL your jokes are RIVETing!
I understand Molly's second part of her clue now..lol
I am going to hop off and get some food inside me. I fancy a cheese omelette.
Mental note: Use autopsy clues from now on
I am missing a pr7/32 (and 99 other words...)
it's just a little abra-cadaver molly

ty...
my last blank letter is the middle row E in the 1st column...i'm betting it's fish-slap worthy
oerfect clue!
it's a miracle when I can find a 9 by myself!
got 5 words from that.
um.....isn't that an 8?
you found a nine?
I aim to please! (usually, my aim is crap_
you are correct, T, I can't count, either

Thankee kindly....
yw...
do you have STATS for the top E in the left column?

I think (and I'm not sure now which E is which) that they are en4/4 and en4/8, but don't bet your life on it
ty...
you were correct.... :o0

You should - I'm usually rubbish at that :)

Hi Gang
Hi hego :)

Wasn't the Paris march amazing|?|
hi again, back to find some more
Hi Ruby, how are you today?
hello ((ruby)) How are you feeling today?
hi Aloy
hi aloy...
I'm much better, thank you. Calm again
hi aloy
I hope the march lifts the French spirits.
hi ruby.. yes, it was amazing.. heartening too
Good to hear that Ruby.
It certainly lifted mine And seeing the world leaders linking arms and Netanyahu in the Grand Synagoge, all wonderful symbols
The world is with you
That was certainly the spirit.
Solidarity does a lot for the spirit of a nation. We saw a lot of that here after the events of September 11th.
hi everyone -- have the kids here (out playing in the snow at the moment) so will be popping in and out.
hi nan...
Hi Nan
Nan, you are one hearty woman. A little surgery doesn't get you down long.
it hasn't been too bad -- yesterday was pretty rough (had spent 4 hours in the car the day before) but as long as I keep the leg elevated and iced, there isn't much pain.
worn
oops - sorry
:)
Do the children make snow angels? Are the children snow angels?
Is this a philosophical question?
well after 200 words, i need a break....bbl to finish...bye!
ours have just come in -- we now have snow angels, a splat the cat snowman and a toboggan run in our front yard!
Definitely philosophical
What ids splat the cat? I think I've been away too long
Can anyone help me with my last two - to6/30 and 7/44?
yes, just add a double vowel matty
It's a toddler's story book that I gave one of the twins for Christmas. There is a series of Splat the Cat books
NM, got it! - thanks all - fw
to the to4.8
YAY for matty!!!
tocsen
congrats, matty!!
I thought that was spelled with an I but ty
it is, ruby -- but this is enable so I try everything
I'm less adventuresome; that's why I hardly ever finish
You have to enter anything that can even be a word.
Even if it seems ridiculous.
fw.. a great Sunday grid

Good night everybody
YAY!! for Matty and Aloy!!!

Indeed, Hego. Poor Ruby was terribly freaked by recent events. And Hi Stid :-)

I know Soodle
UR 8 / 55
sounds like fashion on the continent.
I just called her, and she is much better now. :-)
There used to be a couple babblers up closer to Paris, too -- I have been thinking about them this week.

Oh, I DETEST the cowpies, so glad they got beat.

Hello to my fellow babblers! How is everyone doing today?
By the way, congratulations to all the finishers! Way to go!
hi Min. How are you today?
Hello Nef! How are you doing today? Welcome to the chat.
I'm doing well Nef. I had pajama with my dog. Waiting for the Golden Globes to come on. Hope all is well w/you too!
nap time is over and the end of my reprieve -- not sure if i'll get back
I'm fine. Just trying to relax after the grandson was here overnight. He managed to get a splinter in his toe today running around stocking-footed; and it took 3 adults and 2 1/2 hours before we got it out (he was terrified of it hurting; MEGA Stressful!
hi nan. Good Luck!
dearly love to have the kids here and the grandchildren are well behaved -- just not used to having 3 little ones around and it is tiring.
Oh that's too bad. Glad you got splinter out though. I hope your grandson is ok. Was he crying a lot during the ordeal?
I understand.
(((Nef))) hey all
It was a big splinter, about 1/2 inch long, but not too deep (it didn't even bleed after we finally got it out!). It was just he didn't trust any of us to take it out; he was afraid it would hurt.
Hi stid. How are you today?
I am well, Nef -- tired, but I got all the "must-do" grading out of the way. Now looking to rest up a bit and make sure I have clothes for the upcoming week. Which reminds me, forgot to check the dryer when we returned from shopping. brb
Hello stidmama! How are you doing? Welcome to the chog.
..checks his "must do" list
Laundry: the eternal drudgery. It never seems to end, right?
ruru, what's on your "must do" list?
right! LOL I put a few items back through the de-wrinkle cycle. Fifteen minutes and we will have four dress pants and one dress shirt that do not need ironing. :-)
You really don't want to know..😃
okay, ruru; I won't ask.
Lol
I love my wrinkle-free cycle. But I've also found that if I take things out at 20-30 minutes and hang right away, I don't have to iron then either
I just got a brand new dryer this week. Haven't used it yet.
What kind did you get, Min?
True, but I am usually "multi-tasking" and don't remember partway through a cycle. LOL
Oh, there is a lovely young trombone artist I just learned about. Listening to him play through youtube right now. His name is Christopher Bill. Reminds me of my Grant.
Christopher Bill? Interesting name. (I've heard of so many people with - what I consider - 2 first names lately, it's starting to make me wonder how many are *real* surnames)
I wonder if the band lets him slide because he's young?
help with pr7/40 pls
I did Google him and he's good. Thanks stid.
to go ahead peri pr 7
You're welcome, thought you would enjoy it. (((((peri!!!!)))))
oh ruru... *sigh*
when you finish page 1; pr7 to the next
ty ruru, I need the 2nd pr7 pls
...new category..
2nd pr7/40 that is pls
thanks for the pr7
pr 7/36: The pr**p*** of living a life without my dog is just inconceivable perwinkle.
not con + shower wall material with different spelling
ty ruru new word for me
me too
thanks again...
I heard Christopher Bill hangs out with questionable women stid
oooh. great clue, Min, and it gave me my first 9, too!
s-trumpets or something of that nature
"groan"
*rolls eyes*
LOL
Well, as a percussionist, I am sure I wouldn't know what the brass section does. LOL I bought a pair of orange drumsticks today and ordered a mallet for the bass drum... and will probably go buy a snare drum to practice on at home when I save up a little money.
sorry peri.. but the truth is a lot of the guys in the band are a bit horn-y
stid - former percussionist here - u might want to just buy a practice pad instead of a snare drum. the "feel" is the same, and the noise level is much more family-friendly!
don't drive Tom nuts practicing, stid. Start out with the small drum pad
Turns out the concert (that was postponed from last month before I joined) is NEXT Wednesday, not the Weds after... so I will play my first concert with ONE rehearsal. At least it will be a good excuse if I miss a beat!
lol ruru
groan! ruru….
. sorry pastor J ...
:d
Thanks PastorJ -- we have a single-family house in the middle of nowhere -- and Tom never gets home until hours after I do. I promise to not drive him crazy!
no probs here, ruru!
I am shooting for extra groans .. i'm a bit behind last year at this time :D
But I might get a practice pad anyway, might save a bit of money (just priced them)!
they are fairly quiet and easy to move around stid and cheaper
MUCH cheaper than the drum
yeah..it's too soon to buy a drum until you're ready for a nice one
Nef, got a Samsung dryer. Did not know they make dryers.
Well, I figure I can get a less-expensive drum and then take it to school.... :-) Third graders would LOVE to be able to go out in the field on a nice day and play. We already play with the egg-shaped maracas and percussion blocks sometimes.
I got both the Samsung front load washer and dryer about 3 - 4 years ago. I love them; but I was surprised at how long it takes the washer to do a load
It used to take 80 min to dry clothes. Takes less than hour with new dryer. We have a GE washer which is pretty good
Sounds like a nice change, Min!
phantom: henway
re8/50 pls
80 minutes! That dryer needed replacing! :-)
rest
cr 8/9, pls
peri: to cut into pieced again, past tense
Also started making loud rattling noises so we got rid of it.
Dang,,double clicked
hey java and bichon
hi stid
good evening!
ty stid
well, down to 95 and eyes are not cooperating. Will go fold clothes and hang the items from the dryer. back later *poof*

Hello java2! How are you doing? Welcome to the chat log.
doing well, thanks, Packers won...

And you?
de 5/16, first one, pls
a god bichon
tyvm Dorens
I'm doing well java2. Had a lazy pajama day with my dog.
*pictures Minv in bunny slippers*
All day, Min? When you said something about that earlier, I thought you'd gotten ready for bed early in order to watch the Golden Globe awards.
Good for you!
That's a good day, Min. Ours was busy with a lot of things, starting with church. Got home about an hour ago. I crave lazy days, even w/o a dog!
Hi Dorens! How are you doing today? Welcome to the grid.
hello folks
Yes, pajama day all day long Nef. I only set foot out of the house to take Jack out to do his thing.I LOVE pajama day!
Hello 72 Temple Owl! How are you? Welcome to the chog.
Sigh (envious of pajama day)
pajamas till after two today
Would wear my pajamas to work if I could, so comfortable
I have actually worm pajama tops with nice pants to work.
i felt like a schlub.
Why TO?
Pajama top could be substituted as a pretty shirt of course
I love wearing schlubby clothes around the house
I'm a jeans, sweatshirt (or tee shirt) and sneakers person. Once I retire, my wardrobe costs are going waaaay down.
I'm totally a jeans and sweatshirt or tee shirt person java2
I'm fond of sweatpants
anything that let's me wipe my hands on them (grin)
I'm with you java
sorry, wandered off for a minute. I love my jeans and tee shirts; but I've never been into fancy clothes anyway (as a nurse, I always wore scrub pants, turtlenecks and warming jackets. Professional looking, very comfy to wear.)
i lvoe to dress up and it is the only thing i miss about work
I hate shopping, dressing up. Just a slob at heart
professional office work and meeting clients, etc., means business attire. Although where I am now, turtlenecks and dressier tee shirts with a blazer and slacks works well. I hate shopping - Eddie Bauer dresses me for the most part.
Any time I'd dress up fancy; I'd end up spilling something on me. Never had a problem when dressed "normally"
People are shocked if I wear a dress or a skirt. I tell them I have to do my laundry & that I have nothing left to wear.
LOL, Min.
My idea of shopping is Goodwill
I'd do Goodwill, but am hard to fit.
It depends what you are getting. For casual clothes, Goodwill is good
I hate shopping also. Any nice clothes I have I have gotten as gifts.Everyone thinks I must have a wardrobe makeover
the second e in the first column is blank after 199 wrds
I loved shopping at Coldwater Creek.
es5/12, TO
Hello BzznBea! How are you doing today? Welcom to chog.
thanks, nef
I'm tall with a 34 inch inseam. Not going to find that at Goodwill or Coldwater Creek.
Did CC go out of business
I'm only 5' 3"" and need petite in pants
I hate shopping too. Going to a regular store gets expensive; I do a lot of shopping at a nice consignment store near here
When I see "CC" and I think Candy Crush. How sad is that?
Yes, they did.
Really, Bzzn? Wow, I like their clothes, but the prices were too steep for me (I always had good luck at my consignment store, though)
I'm short & it's very hard to find pants that aren't too long.
At least you *could* cut off the extra; I can't add what isn't there. It's better now than when I was in my 20s and 30s, but still not available everywhere.
java, I have a girl friend who's 6 feet tall. I doubt if she's ever had the right length of pants or shirtsleeves
our local cc went out of busness.
Have you found a brand that fits?
Same here TO.
Nef, I was 5'-11" (down about an inch now), so I understand. All Eddie Bauer clothes are available in tall women sizes on line. Let her know.
Thanks, java; I will.

Patricia Arquette made a nice thank you speech. I liked it.
I can't believe the Downton Abbey chick won best supporting actress. Over Allison Janney and Kathy Bates? I don't think so.
Was it Maggie Gyllenhal?I just turned to channel to see her
I was not impressed with the opening monologue this year
No, Joanna Froggart. She plays Anna on Downton Abbey. Certainly not as good an actress as those nominated with her.
Yes Min, the Fey and Pohler show is getting old.
This is their last year hosting it. I wonder who it will be next year?I only care about the actor/actresses awards and the awards for best director picture, and tv show. I could do without all of the other bullsh*t in between.

Hi stidmama! How are you doing?Welcome back to the grid
hey min -- don't you have school in the morning?
I do, but it's a lot earlier here... :-D
took forever, finally understood the pr 6 clue
Yes I do, but I am watching the Golden Globe Awards now.
I always go to bed late anyway. I never get enough sleep.
ah -- hope you are enjoying the show. I used to watch those, but since I rarely keep up with movies and TV any more... *shrug*
I have been going to bed later than my normal since the winter break, but hoping to change that this week. I do best when I can get up earlier in the morning, I don't think well later at night. Usually.
I missed the gg monologue
I don't watch movies/tv either, but still like to watch show.
You did not miss much rururocks. Not as good as last year.
gg?
15 left, but I've had enough -- little ones in bed so quality time with the kids now. see you tomorrow :-)
sweet dreams nan
golden globes
:D
I am down to 85, and now I have NBS I feel it's good enough. *follows nan out* *poof*
*quietly closes door*
It's odd to hear it called a monologue when two people are doing it. And hey Ru, the amazing thing about the internet is that if you miss something like that, you can still see it on the net. : P
yeah..i'll check it out later..those two crack me up.. good one liners etc
The last na6, please?

thanks got it
I wish they would air GG without all of the commercials. It would be shorter and more bearable to watch. It's too long
