So sorry everyone. I have a manic dog, Oscar Labrador, to deal with plus two cats who easily escape It's Guy Fawkes time over here, the dog is terrified by explosions and almost sat on the comp. No sleep last night, might be the same for a few more nights. In these unsettled times why anyone wants to expode mini-bombs for fun I can't fathom. However, I am grumpy through lack of sleep. There's a major fireworks event at the local cricket club NEXT weekend - I could cry! SORRY ALL x
he was flabbergasted. "She is sending you such expensive flowers? Because you have the flu???" And I said no, to make me feel better :)

the ground meat we get at an amazing price from Second Harvest is actually venison donated by local hunters -- Second Harvest grinds it up and sells it by the pound

yes. here is an example: you shop at a corner store. there is little if any selection of produce and the meats are all processed. and the worst is those hugs - little bottles of non carbonated sugared drinks that pass for juice.

Player Mom just posted this to the FB group: My dear, dear Babblers, It is with a very heavy heart that I write this. Our beloved Renny has passed away. She and the "cool man", her husband, their two cats and their dog have perished in a fire at their house. This happened Saturday night, November 7. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Please keep her in your hearts. Hugs, Mom

Renny's brother Jeff, posted on Bobbie's page (her real name) that if anyone knew her husbands family to please contact him.he then went on to say what had happened.
I wrote to him to give him my condolences and explained how we became acquainted. I told him she was so loved here on Babble. It is with his permission that I am telling you,
i always hoped we would meet someday.
She also had a page as Renny.... there are no posts there. So very sad. Thank you so much, mom.

omg I just saw that horrible news about Renny via Facebook. Takes a lot to bring me back here but I had to commiserate with all her friends. How devastating for her family. She has been such a joy onj Facebook. AAArrrgh.
She had that wonderful dog too, and her posts about him were so wonderfully loving and funny -- just like her.
Or do I have things mixed up? Wasn't Renny Nutty Buddy?
Rennyfeld and Nutty were "pirate sisters". Nutty has Graphite the loving dog.
Ok -- that's who I was thinking of. Nutty must be devastated too. What is the real page for Renny, then? Bobbie who? I've been searching FB but haven't found it.
