I had some respiratory virus from Oct-Dec, probably HMPV. I just coughed and coughed. Our entire staff caught it. We all had laryngitis in the beginning.
people here have been exhiiting flu like illness, they look wiped out. lasts over a week
I tested myself for pertussis early on and that was negative. Pertussis is also called the 100-day cough. Baby K could have that, Eva.
on the up-side, baby K has spent the night in his own crib, in his own room for a week + a half!

Get him attached to a stuffed animal, bring it with him everywhere all day, make him fall asleep with it, put it in his face when he cries...this will make separation anxiety easier when that appears soon, if it hasn't yet.

that is interesting, scrabbler. i once babysat a kid with it. it was horrible. and as soon as mom appreaed, all smiles. she had no idea.

(My dir. lived with the guy for nearly 4 years; then he told her at 11 PM the night before he closed on a house for himself _they lived in HER house for 2 years! This all just happened in the past 2 weeks.

She's now been married for 2 years to someone who deserves to be treated like a king & he treats her like a queen. There is someone (maybe several!) out there who is the right person for you

They have agreed to an "amicable separation" because they both love their dog, so they've decided on shared custody for now.

The poor dog is just not sure what's wrong right now. The 2 of them took the dog everywhere with them (except work, that is); so she's pretty confused about having only 1 person with her at a time
