I already found 27 K words that do not exist. ARB, isn't Karew a Hebrew word? I know a song Karew Jom.
It can be a Hebrew word, that means "they called" which means the song you know is they called day. Probably the next word is an adjective for day
Good morning all - will be in and out all day - Mum stitches out today (hip replacement) doing really well - walking nicely with walker aid
or spelled differently it would mean (but pronounced almost the same) " it happened"
so good to hear that ursh

ah, found it on the internet :) ARB, this is the text: http://www.livingcircle.net/Dance/Lyri cs/karevyom.html
g'nite ADHD
It means "The day is coming that is neither day nor night"
and this is the translation: A day approaches which is neither day nor night. Most high, let it be known that yours is the day and yours is the night.
nan - starts with a vehicle and ends with a type of bird
thanks :)
ca 8
is it a Passover song?

darn, totally lost in the lyrics and all and I must make breakfast for my kids! Back in a bit.
yw hug ty for the ca 7's
ca 8/9
I went the other way for the 7 and didn't see the pl.
Not Passover. I shall find it and let you know -- I assume it is a Biblical quotation, but I don't know my Bible that well.
only bird I have is the Aussie one
the actual bird isn't in there... just the ending of it. the first letter of the bird is missing
thx chic
think of Baltimore's bird
ty chic found the ca 8/9 !!
oh that bird! thanks huga
ty -- got them
now if you double the vehicle ending... you'll get the ca8 and 9
lol --- got the 8-9 combo first!
I was so proud of myself for finding the ep 7 ; love your icon nan
I have all the 7 - 8 - 9's called so far.
Sp6 -- it is a Passover song -- sung at the end of the evening and I forgot it. You can hear it on this site http://bresslev.info/music/asx/zmanim/ nigun1.asx

I sent you an email Sp6 with a site to hear the tune.

Monkey: so far, for being a K grid which is always bad, it is pretty ok for me
LOL
went like a house on fire for a while, think I've come to a dead stop!
hehehe flosey, there is a word in your post :)
yes
Hey Sprite, there's that one k word again that is also a Dutch word. Do you, like I do, catch yourself automatically discounting Dutch words, only to discover later that they are on the list?
oh dear, missed it
found another st7
oh yes, Monkey, that is even worse than seeing Dutch words that are not valid!
I do that with French words
flosey - you've got 2 grid words in that post
I do too jilli
There's one o' them on here too today.
oh my, am really getting sleepy
anyone have the po7 yet?

sorry hug not understanding your question
i have been avoiding the k's!!
that i tile from the centre with 2 words... one is the flower... do you have the other?
Hugs: irritates, vexes
The k's are all words we've had before and not toooooo outlandish
aww what sp just said
doh! it's the small ones that evade me... thx Spryte
it is because they are small. The little stinkers hide behind the bigger ones.
my favourite pi5/12 is not the one for going up the mountain, but for sliding down it
ploit should be a word... how can you have an ex if you can't have it the first time
ah, I don't have that one jilli

nite Dee, sleep well
night volley
Finally greyed the right coloum
down to 6 and all S and T words
I still have 37 to get
your list of 7s helped me so much
I write them down as they get called
then I cross them off as I find them
Is there more than 4 cr's?
I always have this little notepad window open next to the grid and I paste all clues and stats in from the chatlog.
If I use Lickety's... I CAP it to a notepad
am really tempted to use lickety's for the last 5 words. All 4s and 5s and I just cannot find them!
I don't have so many words (94) but most of them are 4's and 5's. What are you missing?
2x S and 3xT :(
I just monkeyed an sk5
and I keep seeing 'plein'
Plein is indeed irritating. So... I have s's and t's.
yay monkeyG, that helps. Darn K.
There are words referring to halting... got those?
There's a 5 s for a young steer. Got that?
a young steer?
T's for sounds made by bells?
got the sounds and the halting words...
Baby cow, whatever. Ummm... sounds like Dutch for strong, spelled st...
T's for the first parts of decorative hedge words?
see that that K is always pestering me? Thanks again, was the baby cow.
so that were the Ss, 3 more Ts to go :)
I don't have a LOT of t's. There are the bell sounds, the other sound, and the ones that look like the first part of the word for decorative hedges.
hello what id the word score please
have those... am probably missing easy ones. I can be so blind. Hi lady, 238 today.
There's one that sounds a bit like a word for pairs, 4 letters
fireworks. Thanks for the help :)
yah a bigger grid ill get back to this soon
No problam. YAYY!
congrats Spryte
can you help me with my final C?
of course!
Sorry, I have no c's yet.
YAY spryte!!!
I have cr x 4... is there more?
10x CA, 4x Cr
ca4 x 3, ca5 x2
argh.. I have ca4 x 2, ca5 x 2, ca7 x 2, ca 8 x 2 and ca9
ca4 is missing then
found it... thx so much...
ha, Ks done
yvw :)
now both left and right are greyed :o)
yay jilli! Wow Hugs, how symmetrical :)
lol I'd have the middle one done too if it wasn't for those damn P's
there's so very many of them, lol
I still need 8 of those
do you have po6/21 rod + form of to be?
ty.. I didn't have that one, but I do now
and the alt. spelling of the kid's game hopscotch, Po6/21 as well.
down to an even 39
oops 30
yay Hugs, go go gooo :)
there... all the w's down now
that w6 is an odd one
OK, I need to go. This little guy is just about over his flu and rarin' to go, so I'd better get him dressed and we will take the dog to the park and go grocery shopping. Back later!
bye MG
bye MonkeyG, hf with the little monkey :)
yes, that we6 is weird.
half way, all tiles with a word or more, sleeepy...time for bed...good night all
g'nite emchem
must go for the grocery shopping as well soon. Can I help with anything before I leave, Hugs?
yay jilli, sleep well *hug*
You'd never get your grocery shopping done spryte.. but thanks for the offer
nites jilli
ok, then I go and check back when I am home again to see if you are struggling with the last ones, like I did, Hugs ;)
bye all, for now, have a great Friday.
thanks Spryte... have a great day yourself!
Good morning/evening all.
Hello everyone. Good morning Haz
morning lynxxx
Hello lynxxx. This seems kinder than yesterday's grid, so far anyway.
It does although yesterdays was fun
Hi Jinxie - new to Babble?
lynxxx, yes, as of yesterday...
welcome then! it was tough one yesterday - how did you fare?
hello again
Hi Infernal
i sucked... got down to about 70 words when CSI came on TV.. so i called it good enough.....
and promptly had to tell my sister about this evil addicting game...
hi lynxxx. Jinix i gave up at 80. Is the word count was 260 ?
mind has turned off, time for bed
back tomorrow morning
Goodness - well done Jinxie - it took me ages to get halfway at this on a regular bais
goodnight all
Hi Flosey & byeee
night flosey
lady> 163 i thought it was.... ?
i think its 263 help solve this one please?
if i can!
Back for a while - lady if you want today's count it is 238
Thanks arse

Thanks Ursh sorry about that i was msning at the same time.

Thanks arse food is bad was what i was trying to say
Hi Ursh been trying to catch you
night sis... love ya
Bye emchem - sleep well
nt
love ya too, sis
Good morning ursh and Deeha.
thank you lynxxx
Whats up Deeha
Morning Haz
good morning everyone:)
Good morning jean.
nite jinx hello jean
hi jean
Hello Ursh Deeha & Jean!
Morning all, 20 mins babble and then work.
Nothing Ursh just to let you know I am temporarily your new neighbour!!
Tick tock tick tock - Good morning FMitch!
Oh lovely Deeha - you are in Westville with your sister??
good morning FMitch:)
FM! Hi - still working hard!
Thats it!! If you ever here a rock band(ha ha)practising that mis my nephew!!
Good morning Haz and jean and lynxxx yup busy busy, clients don't understand they are intruding on babble time :)
You've spotted the beloved babblet, top right?
Sorry but you must have brought wet weather with you - our awful heat has gone - hopefully will settle to pleasant autumn weather
Yes!!
Ursh its been only 14C all day
It hasn't been in for ages - it was like welcoming back an old friend.
Think I did all our phones - and internet - were out had to have the engineer to reconnect that is why I can babble today
I was delighted to find it as one of my first words - hopefully bodes well for the rest of the grid.
Yes Deeha have had some really powerful storms in the last couple of weeks - lots of damage etc
It's certainly a lot more open than yesterday's with fewer peculiar letters.
Went to Hluhluwe fpr thre weekend - magic
Nice Deeha - no elephant charges then??
And did the hyena come and visit your verandah in the evening - no i think that guy is at umfolozi camp
No - only small disappointment - we only saw a few across a river but I saw them and that is one lifes ambition fulfilled
It seems a competition between those who stay at Hluhluwe and those who stay at Umfolozi - both think their camp is best!
Is jac about
I like them both - both beautiful
BBL - 100 to find
TTFN lynxx
I still cant believe I am in Africa
lops
Bye lynxxx.
That little dooflingy that's smarter than a regular molecule, but dumber than a virus, is in the grid...
oops sorry
Deeha - we are quite civilised and dont have lions etc in our back yards - monkeys yes but predators no
Good morning Douglas.
good morning douglas:)
care
oh no sorry :(
Hello Haz, jean...
I wish...!!!!! But the monkeys are so sweet - I came into house after lunch for a moment and one took the opportunity to leap up and nick a baguette!!!
We almost have kismet (fate) again. My history teacher always maintained that Nelson said 'Kismet, Hardy' rather than 'Kiss me, Hardy' on his death-bed.
I am a Hardy my husband always refuted the idea that Hardy might be gay!!!
Who's to know what the correct version is, but I quite like the Kismet version.
Favourite word in the grid so far - i4/8. Favourite word in the log - Douglas's "dooflingy" :) Time for some work, will be back later.
See you later, FMitch.
bye FMitch try not to work too hard:)
Bye Haz, enjoy the grid
I will - found the Gretna Green word - should be touted as a popular option for the hard-pressed father of the bride with an eye to a mounting wedding bill.
Hi Douglas
Hello herin...
The Gretna Green word?
waves back
el5/12 Douglas. Relates back to the days when marriage laws were different between Scotland and England, and young people could marry at an earlier age without parental permission in Scotland.
Thanks, Haz...
One el5 deserves another...
Haz is that the running away thing? the el?
Yes - el5/12
cool thank you
That's okay.
right must away bbl. Happy Babbling everyone:)
Bye jean.
ttfn jean...
bye jean
Reg is in the grid, better known as Elton...
thanks doug i justgot a totally different word
back from the dreaded shopping AND prepared dinner, only need to put the oven on tonight. Has Hugs finished already?
Good morning sprite - I can't remember whether Hugs finished or left for a break.
Phone
I'm known as sp6/21 today :)
The el5 that isn't marriage-related?
el5/10 - e plus a cut of meat.
Back shortly.
must be off again, have a nice babble and a great Friday, all of you
hello everyone. The first 120 words went fine, but slowing down considerably now...
Good morning Con.
hello haz, I was beginning to feel pretty lonely
a person can be alone in crowd
hi urvi
hello everyone.... just been flitting in and out whilst doing 'proper' things !
There are probably hordes of others busy finding words. See - here they come.
o o uv
hiya BR! indeed they can. especially when all the words they see are non words...
airiole, epostle (phantom) to name but two...
hey emperor
and it's taking twice as long 'cos I seem to have become dyslexic overnight !
ah, that's better. gentle chatter in the background. :)
sp....ore suffix
any ideas on the ai 7 and 8?
Think of those who staff an aeroplane.
fi4....something that needs reservation
thank you Haz
thanks con, one of your phantoms just gave me an e7/32!
ai 7 & 8 are magnificent men (or woemn) in their flying machines
You're welcome - just trawling through the chat log for some more inspiration.
yes, the biblical letter

Hello Babblers!
Hi Scrabbler
MG--how is your paper going? The one in Dutch.
Hi Frances
I did manage to bash that out, had a Dutch friend go over it for weird sentence structure and all, and have sent it off to another student so it can be judged, then I am supposed to use the judgement to make changes and write a report about THAT. Sigh. Now I am going through our group report about the institution of a new law and its effect on a particular social help organization, looking for, well, anything that should be changed before we hand THAT one in. Then I have to write reports about the days I ahve missed through flu (mine and the little guy's) and the day after he broke his leg. Tahnks for asking!
That sounds exhausting! When did your son break his leg? How old is he?
Walter is 2 1/2. He broke his leg just over 3 weeks ago (thus, the cast can come off next Wednesday). He stuck his foot through the back wheel of my bicycle while we were on our way home from his playgroup. The emergency room perssonnel called it "the classic toddler injury". I can't stand the thought of it ever happening again, though, but I need a bike or it takes me an extra hour tp get him to daycare and me to school on Thursdays, so Iasked my father and aunt, who set aside money for me to go to school now, and they gave their blessing to the purchase of a three-wheeled family transport vehicle with child seats in teh cargo bin.
And yes, this degree is proving rather exhauisting to get an dthis is just the first year! I started my apprenticeship position too, which just cramps teh time up further. Oh well!
Sorry for all the tpyos.
Poor little guy--but kids are resilient and heal quickly. The new bike will be nice. Are you originally rfom the UK?
No, I'm from the US, but we are fully naturalized Dutch citizens now, and little Walter was born after we renounced US citizenship, so he's actually a native.
What brought you to the Netherlands?
Are any other Babblers here now? Usually Inge and Hazel and others are here.
Morning Scrabbler -- I'm just checking in
HI everyone!
Hello ch!
We read for a year about other countries and this was a good place to get started with a life outside the US. Then we liked it here.
Hi Periwinkle.
Hi there!
I have never visited Europe.........."someday".
There's a subatomic particle in here today. Wheee!
anay clues for the 9 around
When you do visit I'll show you around Haarlem.
wits
*any*
sorry
ANDREE BRADLEY
I can try... the 9 is a ca word. More to follow.
the 9 is a plural of ca8
It's OK, peri, I had it already, and no, I don't have the 9. I am just doing my first pass.
Hi peri. I'm off to pick up granddaughter from school. Early finish today as last day before Easter hols. It is pouring with rain and it is a mile walk each way - not relishing the prospect! See you later.
just found a ca7/32
ca8 - auto + consonant + vowel + Spanish bullring word
OK, hmmm. When you cart something about you ..... it. Drop the last letter. Then add a vowel followed by a Spanish exclamation. That give you the 8. Pluralize for the 9.
Just plan on getting soaked, Frances---laugh and have fun!
andree bradley
thanks got the ca8 and ca8
new words for me
Me too.
Thanks Scrabbler. See you later in drowned rat mode!
means small covered cart
I found them, TY MG! I don't know what they mean yet.
clues for the other 8?
Then, MG, you need a ca8 hooked to the back of your bike for your son to sit in!
8's :)
I just have the one 8 so far.
They do actually make such bike trailers, but I find them low and nervous-making in traffic. With this new trike, Walter is in a kid seat strapped in right in front of me. Plus I can cart a whole lot of groceries around as well.
I have found and created many words that have been rejected. :(
One before I go. ai7/48 person who flies a plane ai8/65 is the plural
Oh, me too!
TY Frances.
You're welcome. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>gone
can't see the ai7 and ai8 :(
I thought the [excellent] clue could have been SLIGHTLY better put... the 7 is the staff on a plane. Then pluralize it.
ai* + cr4 (think also of a rowing team)
marigold, are you playing
thanks Scrabbler, didn't see the W in the left column
good morning everyone
hi and thanks
G'd morning Babblers!
Hi there!
Hello Eva, Lady and Lori!
really people who fly planes and plural for ai7 and ai8
kinda playing and kinda eating
For awhile it was just me, MG and Frances here---very quiet and slow chat.
ar5/10?
still looking for the 4 missing 8's
Perie that should be people that um look after planes
Back again for a few minutes.
monkey-to get up
monkey do you have getting up
and there is another one
Sorry, should have specified. The other one!
Later Haz. :(
HI Haz
a+ double consonant + form of to be
ar plus the sun ***es in the morning
Hi Hazel--new icon--I have to check it out
Haz, the ca8 anc ca9 were just clued. do you have them, also the ai7/48 and ai8/65
Cool, that's the name of a dog my dog plays with! Thanks!
ai8/65, ca8/45, ca8/45, fe8/55, ra8/45, re8/60
Monkey how is the little man
**coffee refill**
thank you Haz
re's in this grid. *pout*
ai7/48 - begins with what the plane flies throgh, then three letters for those who staff it. Think also of those who sail a boat.
thanks hous
opps thanks haz
I have the ai7 and ai8 thanks Haz
The pilot thing lost me, for the ai. I got it now though.
Walter is MUCH better today. It's being hard to make him take it easy, but he still has the cougha nd the sneezing so I don't think he should run all the way to the supermatket yet or anything. But yes, he's doing just great, compared! Looks likehe'll be fully over the flu when the cast comes off Wednesday and can go straight to the playground.
ca8/45 - if you have ca7/32, the putrefying flesh, use the first five letters and add the Spanish exclamation(s) - that gets ca8/45 and ca9/60. Remove one of the double consonants in the word to get ca7/32 and ca8/45
hi haz good icon clue - what they dont tell every aspiring ballet student is that it can make your feet bleed
OH thats wonderful Monkey
So there is pain in beauty....
Thanks! Ithink so, of course. This has all been VERY hard on asuch an active little monkey-man.
haz can you break down your icon clue plz
fe8/55 - begin with the iron, end with plural ceremonies.
thanks Haz, didn't think to remove one of the consonants, got the 2nd ca8
hello....cute alert - check out my icon.
the ca's are driving me batty
thanks Haz, got the fe8 too
CLiff how are the kitties
thankfully my feet didnt bleed - but they hurt like hell - i thought the girls who carried on with bleeding feet were crazy
HI cliff, that kitty is just too cute!
Okay po7 - it's a plural French word. Begin with po5 - to indicate, or a sharp end. Add a vowel, for po6, then pluralise for po7
kitties and mom doing great.
Do you need or want clues for any other 8 letter words, peri?
oh cliff it looks like a little merp! I want one!
thats good
thanks Haz, got your icon clue
i have the ca 7 but not the ca 8 mee
Merp says not to listen to me
Eva and CLiff i snorgle the kitties
ty haz
Haz, clues for the re8's and the ra8 would be lovely.
lol eva. merp wants to remain an 'only' cat
You're welcome!
herin-love that word snorgle. i use it all the time now.
cuteoverload is responsible
Hazel, just accidentally put all of the 8's in the chat--I will forgive you
OKay - ra8 - a combination of two words, one meaning unusual or not cooked through completely, combined with a four letter words that means ready for eating, especially used with fruit.
thanks Haz, got the ra8, what an odd word
never would have put them together
Sorry, Scrabbler - it's hard to know when people want clues and when they don't!
I know - it's been in before but not often.
clues are more fun, Hazel. I was joking.
SCRABBLER LOOK AWAY. re8/60 - is what someone does when they're not happy with a script.
Cliffopa--the kitten is adorable and thanks for the photo
thank you Haz, dear, now have all the big ones.
ty scrabbler. how are the bunnies?
TY Hazel
That's good - it's a nicer grid than yesterday's, thank goodness.
***Like a vulture over a corpse, Lori snatches re clue, and flies away with the booty***
My bunnies are also adorable--Sebastian jumps up in bed with me in the AM when HE is ready for morning snacks
Lori--do you have the ca7? You sort of gave a clue
sebastian is the disney-related name we picked for the biggest kitten. (girls at shelter requested disney names for all the babies because they named the mom tinkerbelle)
Need ca's help. I have: those weird long ones that mean carts, two that sound like something a crow would say, and rotting dead flesh. The reast are seriously eluding me!
Scrabbler, yes I already had it. Is the 8 built from that, or a seperate word?
A separate word, Lori, but same first 6 ltrs
I love the name Sebastian
Thank ye muchly Scrabbler.
thank you i have the ca 8s and all 8 words thanks you
I am missing an 8--I have ai8, ca8, fe8, ra8, re8
Thank you haz
you are missing the ca
um click on the ca meaning and youll have the other 8 scrabbler
There are two ca8 - one is the singular of the 9, the other is structured the same way, but lacks the double consonant in the middle and is plural for the preceding ca7
2 ca 8's, just remove one of the double cosonants
*consonants
OK, I got it--8's and the 9 are done, and I am past halfway. Time for breakfast, then tennis. I will be back in the afternoon. Enjoy the day!
In the ca's I still need two 4's and a 5
thanks and by scabbler
c + Noah's ***, plus pl
ca is to do what you're doing for your son, because you ca**

Aha again! THanks. Now just the 5--and again aha! Thanks, folks!

Lori, that's a WORD? I know Tigger says it in the first pooh story he's in... Thanks!
we 5 is a plural of the 4 Monkey. A bruise or raised injury on the skin
re8 is the present tense of re7, what you do if you don't like your manuscript
thanks i still think these words are made up
Thanks again, Lori. I'm missing some obvious ones today!

I have the ones that are like sharp ends, by the way
hi everyone!
Morning, all. See, I lurk until someone mentions champagne and chcolate and then I show up all innocent-like.
hey, temple!!!
Hi there!
hey to
yay for breakfast that are both yummy AND healthy!!
hi judi
G'd morning TO
po4 needs one vowel and a plural letter and it's a goofy word
Hello TO.
po + when arriving at Hawaii, they put **** around your neck
po4 is a french veggie
sitting here on my first friday off this spring
I hope you enjoy the day, TO.
Yea TO! A day off. Enjoy!
Well, the weather's nice for a day off, TO.
Thanks, folks! Just need one more 6 and that'll close off the po's.
i will - on my way shortly to meet someone for lunch...glorious day!
take a vowel off the 1st po 6/21, and plural it
temple, have a wonderful day off
Got that one. Lemme do a count, maybe my notes are wrong...
ive got me some raspberries + blackberries with vanilla yogurt + some honey almond flax go lean crunch!
yuuuuuuummmm!!!
Nope, there are 5 and I have 4
po = the guy from Happy Days
kinda like a little parfait ive got here. :)
Not so up on that show anymore... thinking, thinking...
po = plural of po** and pans + 3rd vowel + 2nd vowel
monkey, richie's friend --po
Is that the one Monkey?
Thanks. I admit I had to go look up a character list, but I have uit now!
What about the pr7? Anyone have that?
It's a silly word
pr + before the melle, when people run amok
pr7 - the time when the Molotov cocktails are prepared. Prefix then street disturbance.
the only pr I have is before the melee
*melee
up to 193
Go instant!
Why can't that pr7 word be pluraled? *grumble*
Having some trouble with the pr clues. Obviously writing in Dutch all day has fdied my language centers.
I understand the "before part"
Only with the " in the right place... sigh
That guy is so funny, he's a ****
monkey. ...pr* + civil disturbance
use the last 4 letters from "yakitori"
OHHHHH! Thanks! I do know what a melee is, just fried...
cript ! ! !
I have the other two pr words if anyone wants clues
yes, monkey
Onemis to get something off from being stuck to something, the other is a dangerous protein
splot ! ! !
need one more pr
One is, that should have started--arrgh!
dangerous protein, hmmm?
cause of Mad Cow Disease, Annie... hi all
Like in Mad Cow Disease. Sounds like a word that might turn up on star trek or somewhere.
Sounds like a single unit of something...
the last three letters can be negatively charged...
thanks monkey, will work on it
Sounds like a synonym for "previously" only with a different consonant on the end.
Got it! thanks!
pi6/21 and the pi7?
I have the gun-like ones, and the climbing thing.
And the ones that sound like flight words.
add 3rd vowel to the gun
sorry, not there yet
Yup, have that one.
pi + the color vi****?
pi6/21: engine part
Yup (color clue). But thanks.
That's all the 6 /7 pi's Monkey
How did I miss teh engine one?! Thank you!
gun, gun + 2nd vowel, gun plural, engine part, color ones
How can I pluralize the gun? The pluralizer letter is already in use.
Try it.....
monkey, you can, try again
Monkey, move up from the P, and then down again.
OK, got it...was using the wrong . Thanks everyone!
:-)
thanks everyone for the pi's
if it looks like the word might not work, type it anyway! you get more words that way 8-)
hello agian
True...
hi fern
im back and im tired
I also find that ignoring a word just because it's in Dutch is not always the right move.
or german, french, yiddish, italian, etc
Oy vay!
True, but I am in Holland and speak Dutch, so I tend to think I'm just leaping at words I see every day.
and my b/f and i had steak and garlic bread for tea and the sponger took the last two cold pieces of bread, not the point that i was going ot turf them
tulip! Windmill! (that's about all the Dutch I know).
What about fl5/18 and fr5/16?
Tulp en windmolen, you mean.
f + the sun ****s in the east
fr5/16 - the same structure as the searching fi5/24 but replacing the final consonant with a vowel
or fr = a monk?
fl 5 is a plural
Got th emonk. Working on the other clues...
fl5/18 - plural of the useless and non-supporting fl4
see you all tonight - enjoy your day!
LOL Haz
enjoy luch!
Latere TO. Happy day off to ya!
fr5/16: sounds like freedom "fr***".
Bye TO - you as well!
*lunch
Just not getting this fr... Someone give me a whack.
bye, TO
neither am i monkey
Oh wait, I see
Nope, already have that one.
fr5/24: pat down search done by cops.
Got that one too. But thanks.
fr + on your birthday you might get a surpr*** party
Then there is the plural of fr4/7 looks like the beginning of French fried
Got that one (party). Sorry folks...
fr + the guy at the beginnign of Monty Paython always says ***!
fr + the guy in robin hood who wears a brown cloak
Darn it, why don't I get the MP reference? Am I having a stroke?
I have the monk word.
michael palin in old man makeup. he crawls toward the camera and says . . .
Let's work backwards. Do you have the fr4/7 and its plural fr5/16?
Oh! Of course!
(don't tell me, you got that one)
Yes, this is my last fr word. I do have the one with the PR reference already after all.
urrrrrrr
there, puzzle's completed
i think the ra8 was the toughest
i have only 79 to go and am now going to get some donuts. darn you all LOL
Congrats instant!
Bye BDG.
i'm on the ra 8 now, any clues?
thanks
ra8 was a weird one. But le6 is one of my favorite words. Love them particles.
it's a compound word, both words starting with the same letter
I am going to do something I dislike but must do, IRON....later
perfect, thanks!!
i liked the le7, hehe, i never see that word
ra8:combine uncommon and mature
Bye Annie.
Later Annie
gotta do some work, seeya later
Later instant
OK, stuck on one last in4 and in5. I have: not competent, cove, coves, and not out of.
What does the 9er start with?
9 is a ca.
Change the vowel on the end of the not out of and plural.
in + **s the season to be Jolly, at Christmas, then plural
Cool! Thanks!
in5/12: bungler
Clue for the 9 please?
Yup. Got the in's now. Staring in horror for es words.
The 9 is a plural of an 8. Tricky one to clue. Thinking.
OK, take the rotton flesh word and drop the last letter, replacing it with a Spanish exclamation. Pluralize for 9.
238 words. I are done!
Congratulations Lori!
wtg Lori I just finished too!
Oops, don't double the vowel--drop the last two letters from the flesh word.
Yay Lori!
Go NoNo!
Ty, Monkey.
now must do something productive i suppose
Congrat Nono!
So, ummm... shuffles foot bashfully... help with the es words? I am SO dumb today!
ty for all the clues along the way
e+halt
e + go c**t racing, but the c is a ....
and plural
es5/18 - es plus the beginning of Miss Blixen.
es5/12: used in wills. e+ don't go.
r + not go, but ****, then plural
r? I meant e. I am so inept at typing.
Ack. Anyway, real life housework-O-rama awaits me. I thank you all for your help, and hope you all have a great day!
Less embarrassed now. Only seen one of those before and it was spelled slightly differently. Thank you all!
ok i'm off now
Bye!
I've got to go too. Must check on the toddler, then go grocery shopping. Back later to try for the last 25 words.
Lori you said a word
man... I hate it when I don't look at the grid over-all just to see if there's a word straight across a row or column. Then 100 words in and I see it and reach for a fish. d'oh!
we 6 please x
sorry M3... I got nothing
M3, an alternative spelling for "waistcoat"
kind of dickensian
kind of dickensian

Guten MOrgen, Babblers, I am back and in need of a clue for ca 7?32, the first one
ooooh! I found ep 7 all by myself! think a letter in Biblical days, if you need it. =)
ca 7
found that one myself, too
ca 7: bird of carnage
hello! How many words in this one?
238
my number :)
thanks!
well, carnage for vultures and the such
238 is your number hurshy? how so?
well, it is kind of a long story...
it is not MY number so much as my family's number...
oh, so that wasn't it...
How many words in this puzzle?
redshoes, tht is the second one, I need the first ca 7/32
Morgen, Inge.. baggage that you take on board an airplane: ca7 sounds like it anyway
hurshy is actually 238 years old. she pretends to be in her twenties, but in truth the reason she knows most of the words is that she has lived longer than any of us...
lol
shoot. sorry, then inge.
ca7 is like the baltimore baseball team
hi stid, hi hurshy..
you can also double the cons for a ca8, and pl both of them.
popping in and out this morning
inge, I think I found it. start with automobile, then end like the baseball team's bird
hi all
was that the number your family got when you came over on the boat? family number 238. must have come over early.
ha! no. much more recent development.
thank you , got it
stid, that is a ca 7/32 prior to the carnage one. thanks!
thanks hursy and stid!
piffle. it has begun to rain. Figured it would eventually, but this nixes my digging up the last of the daffy bulbs today.
number of grandkids? hehehe
see, in rhode island, where i grew up, low number license plates are a big deal, because the governor gets 1 and the lt. gov gets 2 and there are a couple more designated ones. then they are NOT designated but people have this silly idea that the lower your number, the more important you are. there was a years-long court battle over who would get 7 when someone that had it died.
and the guy who built our house, and who my dad worked for for a little while, was into this silly thing, and his lowest number plate was 238. and he would say what a special number it was, and how it would come up all the time.
wow. kind of like season tickets to the Green Bay Packers in WI... things get handed down. :-)
like that if you pulled into a driveway to turn around, it would be house number 238
(but packer tickets make SENSE!)
so then my family would privately mock him about his obsession with 238
this is true. Well, maybe people in RI need better things to do. ha
we would take any number we saw and be like, well, if you add those and divide by that one, that is 238
238 has taken on almost mythical proportions for us.
seems it's such a small state that there would only be 400 or so license plates... *giggle*
there are about a million residents in the state. most of them related in some way or other.
hmmmm, that may explain a lot about RI-landers!
(I knew it was small...)
my parents are from CT, we moved there when i was 9, so we are not in the whole RI system.
ah, CT is good!
notice folks, how quickly hurshy disowns being "from" rhode island...
So, Hursh, what happens after 238? ---239?
well i have a love-hate relationship with RI
it is a very odd state, so many quirks.
well, naturally 239 is after 238... but we don't think about that.
do you know anyone who speaks "cranstonese", practicaly a language unto itself?!
very odd indeed
oh, yes, indeed
Rhode Island, home of the rhodeo!
cranston, home of big hair (they don't know the 80's ended), lots of tacky jewelry, extra long fingernails...
we went to church in cranston for years.
rofl, sam! good one!
heya people :)
giddyup, eh.
hey bexillator! :)
hey bex.
huh... cranston sounds a lot like texas... or at least the stereotype of it.
except the accent is much harder on the ears.
and some people I saw at the flee market last weekend...
flea market, even.
hi bex, haven't seen you in a while
but you obviously wanted to flee when you saw them
are flees expensive?

Hi everyone, I'm back from movie time with my students. I have a pitiful 64 words :(
Hello, Deutsch.
Hello Deutsch.
I only have 52. =)
Then I guess we're about even, itsonme1
Ooh! Now I have 54! Any clues on the 9 letter?
nothing on the 9 letter
itsonme, it is a ca8/45, then plural for the 9/60.
Oh okay...
It is the ca4/5, then add the last four letters of the American League Baseball team. (a bird name)
The ca4/5 sounds like an automobile pronounced by a Scotsman... LOL

Hi, wee. CA+ double consonant
Oh got it! Thanks Scarlet!
Great, itsonme!

Is that where you are, Deutsch? What a city!!
The wonderful history of Earl Weaver and the classy Cal Ripken... old Cal, Billy, the Robinsons... wow!
Yes, Scarlet and thanks for the clue. I'm a transplanted Hoosier. Been here since 1989
LOL, Deutsch... then it was a snap for you. I don't miss the inner city during the summer, but what a wonderful place to spend time.
I'm not even a baseball fan, but I love Baltimore. And yes, you need AC during the summer. Can't believe I went 5 years without.
Okay... up to 75 words.
I am a monster football and baseball fan, but won't bore you with the details... how on earth did you survive, Deutsch??
Go, itsonme! I'm only at 69
itsoneme1, are you using the Lickety's clue list? It makes clomping through the grid much easier.
Interesting you should ask. Every morning, I unmade the bed and put the sheets in the freezer. Then at night, I'd take a brief shower, turn on the box fan and remake the bed with the cool sheets.
I know, I am just too lazy to use it! =) I am fine without it, I like the challenge.
That is a Sterling set of ideas Deutsch... LOL. Never heard of that before! You are very resourceful.
That is a good idea!
has anyone a clue for ca7?
A friend slept on frozen veggies. I declined.

DoDo -- I went through that sort of thing last year - 5 colds and bronchitis one right after the other. Fianlly saw the doc and he prescribed an antibiotic, which worked. I'm not a big antibiotic advocate because the bugs get resistant and few work agains viruses, but in this case I was grateful.

Gidget is laying half on me and half on the laptop now. She's the sweetest cat i've ever had (17yrs), so clean and soft as a bunny, everyone wants her. She's still spry, chases squirrels and mice, but is visually impaired with cataracts and can't hear any more.
ahh, Featherbee,I can walk you through 150 of them
thank goodness, Scrabbler
good. how did that happen?
Oh oh, paging Dr Scrabbler AGAIN!!
oh good scrabbler
did they have it on a tablecloth, or were they not thinking just having it within reach...
why, is it actually fairly easy mom?
poor scrab... no breaks tonite?
no, I have been at it on and off today, a lot of weird words (at least for me) but I only have managed 150
ahhh
it's not bad feather... and the clues are fast coming
yeah, already dove in!
i am functionally brain dead tonite and if i do't finish, i don't really care. just go for it!
i am functionally brain dead tonite and if i do't finish, i don't really care. just go for it! \
we can start with the w's, I have managed 15 of the 18 of those. lol
GO FEATHER GO RAH RAH RAH
hey... that's the first time my message came out twice... how did that happen?
A mom is at the pharmacy--got a prescription for amox and the kid is ALLERGIC to it!
nope, gotta start top left corner. i'm nothing if not anal about how i start a grid
reaction? or did she not administer it yet?
Feather, nothing wrong with that. I am anal about a lot of things. I only have 12 of the 14
and only a few of them are "normal" words for me
u r good feather. by the time i start babbling, my ADD drugs are long gone and i'm not that organized lol
The pharmacist asked the mom about med allergies--so....my partner missed it...yikes
got half of the Cs, moving on to A
geez, Feather, you won't have a bit of trouble.
anyone have a clue for the 3rd po5/12?
Do you like being on call with me? The really fun calls are the middle-of-the-night ones that wake me from a great dream.
one with the Abercrombie guy in it?
actually scrab... i miss work, so yes i like it.
it's interesting scrabs
is it bad that there's a really bad fire not a mile from me and i'm more concerned with finishing this grid? lol
I don't mind being on call with you. I am use to it when my sweetie has to go out
3rd po5==pl of po4
It is a test, MonkeyMind, and you are passing the test!
no, monkeymind, isn't that normal?
ah. thanks scrabble!
lol Mom
hello. my name is *fill in the blank* and I have a babble addiction.
this fire is all over the news and i can't be bothered. lolol

BA: Babblers Anonymous
I think we need a priest to administer absolution to all our troubled souls
The first phone call was the toddler that reached up on the table, grabbed a burning candle, and he pulled it so that it landed on his face---he was very lucky to have not been burned at all, despite mom needing to peel wax off his face
ok, my confession: i can't get to babble at work, but i have been known to visit lickety's page to see how big a grid it is
I'm an addict and I'm proud! let's have a Babble Pride parade
a 12 Grid Program
Babble Day should be a legal holiday

I must confess that my Scrabble Dictionary is at my side, and, well, I often refer to it....I am heartily sorry!
raredone?
ah. finally finished those pesky P's
brutal
ready to eat as in a vegetable
why apologize for that?
I feel like a Babble impostor
I confess that I play babble and let my duties as a housewife suffer. For that I am so very sorry.
i use the scrabble lists on my computer, or morewords.com at the final half hour of play
"ready to eat" as if ready to pick off the vine
Those P's nearly sent me to the Psych Unit
and refer to the scrabble lists throughout the game
lol Scrabbler
scrabbler, I'm hearily glad! I have morewords available for when I'm stuck.
(not really, that sorry though) that will give me an extra rosary for lying in confession
oh tx monkey
heartily
yeah, momkey, the first thing i tried with the ready to eat clue was "mre".
what a dumb word
yes...very starnge word
and strange, too. (derrrr)

Gold medal performances, Mom!
scrab are you able to access your office computer from home?
It is a good score for me today. I try to just get halfway, but I have enjoyed chatting with everyone, that I have stayed longer.

Nope
Thank you, Scrabbler

Keep setting the bar higher, but have fun, Mom!

Thanks AD. Passes the BenGay to AD again.

Ohhh, looks like a nice grid...guess I can "play" for a bit before getting back to some work.. Hi, all!
HI there pam
Hi Pam
Hi Pam--we're all crazy tonight, so watch out.
hiya pammie
hi, peri, adhd, mom, and scrabbler!
Passes Pam girl scout cookies
yeah, and scrabbler's on CALL and crazy, how scary is THAT??? but we're all helping her out
**getting bowl of milk to put 2 dozen mint chocolate cookies in**
Freeze the mint thins... yum...
Cookies??
what a way to dunk your cookies, Scrabbler.
are those cookies supposed to learn to swim, Scrab?
I love Girl Scout Choc. Mint Cookies, they are the only ones I buy
yes, Pam that is the only way to eat them
how about just taking a bite and a gulp of milk
never thought to freeze them though
they're sooo good frozen
Hi SMDNJV. Passes girl scout cookies to SMDNJV
Hi I am back for a little company
Hey, what about me, I want some cookies too, please
Hi Inge, passes cookiesto Inge
SOrry, Peri, passes cookies to Peri
Thx so much Mom. mmmmmm gud!!
oh my god. 3 left and my lickety's list just renewed itself and i lost everything. lolol

here perri, you can have some of mine
thanks, Mom, was afraid I wasn't going to get any of the cookies, mmm good
Peri, I would never pass anyone up for cookies
thanks inge, I have enough cookies now
Sorry, I was paged again--who wants this call? 3 yr old sick since Monday, now with a draining ear
monkey, are your words realllly lost?
and they couldn't call during office hours?
ugh, scrabbler.... how can it get to that place?
I'll take this one, Scrabbler
I refresh my lickety list quite often but do not lose anything!
And, did they not know of hot compresses all along?
inge...just the lickety's list
Monkeymind, that is terrible
not my true list
is this the first time scrab? i'm wondering why the mom would page you on a Fri. nite for that? unless it's a first.
No, that would make sense, Mom--everything is a dire emergency
it happens all the time.
it's ok
Sick since Monday....just now calling Doctor after hours!?!
Awwwww, Monkey, I feel your pain--that has happened to me
I print it out so it cant escape me
I know, SMD, but I have to be compassionate!! I have to take care of the kid, even if the parent is an idiot.
happens all the time monkey
yes, Scrabbler. It won't be there fault either as to why they couldn't call earlier
I feel the kid's pain... my ear is killing me, LOL
FIREWORKS
I understand that Scrabbler but parent needs serious talking to!!
phew.
now i can go outside and breathe in some hollywood smoke
Yeah, monkeymind. Congrats
Yaaay Monkeymind!!
i used to work for a pedi group as the oncall nurse to take calls and resolve issues and determine if the doc should be paged. 9 times out of 10 i didn't need to call the doc. i was able to call in scripts for minor stuff as needed.
thanks for all your help everyone!
bravo, Monkeymind
And get this---the family is leaving for vacation so Mom wants a quick fix!
good grief.
YIPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEE FOR MONKEY!!!! BRAVO!! YOU DID IT!!! YAHOO FOR YOU!
see you all at the FLIP
mom needs a quick kick
thanks ADHD!!!!!
yay, monkey
thanks Pam!
bye peeps...later!
Yahooo MonkeyMind!
what used to drive me really crazy was the parent'swaiting until the kid was soooo sick before calling on a Fri nite
bye bye Monkeymind
I think I did that once when my son's were little and the doctor had little chat with me about waiting til after hours and my son had been sick for days. Boy did I feel bad!! Just did not think ahead!!
ba-bye monkey.
Bye monkey!!
And another page! ADHD, we use a nurse triage service overnight---I switch over either when I go to bed or when I am losing it from stupid calls
i can understand if the parents don't know better, but when they do it time and time again, the kids are the ones that have to suffer
bye, bye Monkeymind
how can a parent not know when an ear is that bad?
I have a good Pediatrician for my granddaughters!! She takes very good care of the girls....but doen't mind chewing me out if she thinks I am doing something wrong!! or stupid!!
wow, busy night for you scrabbler!
that was my job (one of them, lol). some of the dumbest ones were for conjunctivitis (easy, call in script) or "Johnny" has been vomiting for 2 days and he'shungry, what should i give him? I got so sick and tired of going of the BRAT diet... working during the day at the office was so much easier, esp. cuz the pharmacies were open
This one is for you, ADHD--the family is in Conn now! Shall I send them to your home?
sure, why not? send them over. what's the call?
what's the tiny village you are in , adhd?
out of curiosity, how many of these P words are pre?
Aaaah, I have to call long-distance and I get an answering machine!!!
I agree ADHD....I honestly did not understand "off time" for the pediatrician! I thought they were ready, willing and able 24/7!! Forgot they were human too and needed their rest to be ready, willing and able!!
oh, scrabbler, I want to just dope slap them myself!
Only 1 pre word--pre + ri4 (uprising)
really? wow, then where are my other 23 P words????
Scrabbler, do you fear for the species my husband wants to know.
es6/21 please
feather there are 6 pe"s
and 10 pi's
Some parents actually think I am at the office--they will ask me to look in the child's chart and it is late at night! I have not had the courage to say, "Oh, let me get out of my sleeping bag here in the Mickey Mouse exam room, and I will review your daughter's medical chart promptly. Aaaaaahhhhh
es 6: e + to halt + plural
Too bad you can't say that, scrabbler!!!
ok, gotta find 4 pe and 7 pi, that's a good place to start!
2 pl's
Mom, oh, boy, am I worried! We are devolving at a rapid rate. My favorite quote to help me survive = "You can't fix stupid."
got the pl's
lol scrab. the office i worked for could access their records at the office fromt heir home computer, as could I.
I LOVED my pediatrician... I remember him so well! He made housecalls!
mine did too pam. life was different then... the population was less
14 Po's and three pr's, does taht answer your question??
yes, but I was in brooklyn, NY!!!!
I make housecalls, if it is on my way home--with some families--I love it. A few months ago the little boy ran to the door in his pajamas and looked confused to see me at his house.
Scrabbler, I agree. That is the example these children will grow up with. I have a non-word in the grid for you. Pist, for the kind of night you are having.
pirfle. pirfle seems like a perfectly good word to me.
i could check the charts, document, prescribe as needed, whatever, without going anywhere.
lol, feather!
so i'm missing a ton of po and pi now. thanks for the direction!
I agree, Mom and featherbee.
aww that's so cute
ADHD--where in CT are you? Until we broke up, I had a cottage with my ex- in East Haddam
thanks inge, didn't have the plural
ADHD, we are going to EMR soon, and then I will be able to do that
you will absolutely LOVE it scrab.
i'm in the smallest town in the state. Bridgewater
Never heard of it!
both le6/18 please
it's between Roxbury and New Milford and Washington Depot
Sorry, Peri
found le6 - sore
I am doing L's now, Peri...but paged again!!!
we have the Bridgewater Fair every year and people come from out of state to be here for it
yay, up to 23/35 Ps!
How cool!
pop. less than 2 thousand. the town hall is a house, the library is a house, no industry.. just the General Store/farm stand/ice cream shop/post office/bank.
near where is it, adhd? Sounds so bucolic
need le5/18 please
Roxbury, New Milford, Washington Depot
ADHD, if you keep describing it so often, your population will double in no time
just five miles away is New MIlford with everything from soup to nuts on Route 7
Really sounds wonderful, ADHD
hi guys!
naw inge... it took me three years to get a house here. people don't move out, there's no land left to build on, 5 acre zoning. the joke is that someone has to die to get in here
NM
Hi TO
We sued to drive through there to Roxbury FAlls, and further to the Audubon Sanctuary, where a Danbury HS Classmate of mine worked
splot should be a word too
i wanted to be nearer to my kids/grandkids
Hi Temple Owl
*used
I have a friend in Milford, is new milford near there?
I agree Feather
OK, get this one--family is out-of-town in Syracuse and the kid is having an asthma attack--mom wants to speak with me first! Just get the kid into the ER!!
see? you were so close to here. it's that way with everyone... close, but it's such a tiny village, most people don't even know about it
Milford is at the seasshore, New Milford is just north of DAnbury
Oh, what a fool...
no milford is nowhere near new milford... over an hour away
thanks, inge
cheez scrab... and w/asthma, they KNOW what's up and still delay
He has bad asthma and has been admitted before too!
some parents shouldn't be
Wow Scrabbler, you are getting the cream of the crop tonight
we had parents that pulled that sh** and the child (12) died of status asthmaticus
The kid is two and can't say, "I CANNOT breathe, mom!!"
ADHD, do you kow that our babbler Bubba has a cottage on Lake Candelwood??
and the child had been hospitalized numerous times and over and over again i/we would say, if he gets an "attack" go to the ER, DON'T CALL US FIRST
how awful ADHD those parents have to live with that for the rest of their lives
oh, adhd, that is so sad
Holland Twsp?
po 7/32 anyone?
These parents underestimate his asthma because they are in denial!
they tried to sue the doctors..
15 left bbl
I tell parents that asthma CAN be fatal...
Ok, I am quitting with 77 left. Good luck everyone. Scrabbler, I hope your night gets better.
one of my daughters-in-law was like that scrab and my 8 yr old grandson suffered with bronchial illness for years

I want "lentil" !!! le6,18??

did hte screaming help, adhad
*adhd
they marked our youngest daughter's chart, taht she should get quick appointments, becasue mother alwasy waited till the last minte!!!
i need to dive into the grid for a bit, the chat will get me in my dreams if i keep following it! when i'm pg, i'm really sensitive to this stuff. no offense!
I am glad you got involved!!!

off my rocker
Hey!
ROFL----what is MySpace? is it a blogspot?
It is a dangerous territory. Cops often set up accounts to catch sex fiends
Hi itsonme
lucky think i'm not a sex fiend
I can see why nutty is intrigued
Very dangerous! All the kids at my school have one, but I don't, and I do not think my friends should either.
but be careful, someone may try to mislead you
then please explain--what kind of site is it?
finally! i'm babblenut
ok evananut explain what it is
Annie, it's like a message board but you can set it up with all sort of images, personal info etc without a lot of threads
it's a blog thingy
okay, thanks, got the picture...yes, it can be dangerous
Especially for kids my age.
dawg, just read your icon and discovered a new botany term
:-) it was new to me too inge. i always connected it to art
Ooh! Now that I got back onto my account, I am going to change my icon, but don't hate me for it. =)

love your bromelaid inge. your hubby is very talented
I agree
No, I was kidding, some people are you know, non-Gators.

There there, DoDo, just keep in touch
No lie! My birthday is May 25th 1994.
hi guys, could I get a clue for the last is5?

Why not, Do?
hi temple and jilli and ping and dawg and all my babbling buddies old and new
hi everyone
Hi ADHDWordLover, I am Angela, you may call me its or Angela.
Well, its, mine is in May too, but a tad earlier
two boxes grey....
Hi DO. you poor dear you've been sick so much lately.
H HK
hi again!
Gotta go!!! Back asap!
poo poo, so, where'd rennie go?
my birthday was last friday and i chose my favorite age to be. i have 2 grown sons and 5 grandkids, but ADHD keeps me the perpetual child, so in my head i'm said to be 12.. tho i can be a grownup when the need arises.
Happy belated birthday!
i've been sick on/off since new year's eve. late today i started with earaches, throat killing me and a sumo wrestler sitting on my chest (feels like it) i just go over being sick a week ago
bye jilli
happy birthday adhd
yes, happy belated birthday!
tx HK
120 to go - yikers!
i just can't get a break... the doctor thinks it's viral and just hasn't left me... it just takes a rest and gains strength to make an attack on me again and again
tx :)
Oh, adhd, that is what I am suffering with this week! I have spring allergies and chronic sinusitis, so I never just get a cold...
I am not sick, but my friend has strep throat! Lol.
i've had 2 sinus infections, 4 colds, bronchitis x2, throat infection... this time it's my throat, ears and chest
three boxes grey!
GO JANE GO
and i feel worse tonite than i did five hours earlier. i just hope it doesn't last long.
ugh, adhd! Tea with whiskey?
Oh man, adhd that is tough!
I am up to 100 words! Lol, I am going sooo slow today. First day of Spring Break!
it sucks... my immune system is so compromised and i ust moved closer to my kids/grandkids and i see them every day, so i think they bring me something other than presents... every sickness they carry from school, preschool, etc
hi pam. happy birthday adhd!
tx temple
sometimes it's fun to take it slow and enjoy the chat.
help! Only 15 to go. Stuck on the ai 7, ai8. Can you help me?
honestly, adhd, my empathetic heart beats for you!!!!!!!!!
yes, its--slow and chatty!
ai7 and ai8 are compound - what you breath, plus a group of people working
Yup! =)
Firefly - Many thanks
Le7 anyone?
my realtor-now good friend came to visit today and she said for someone who's been thru the ringer i have the most positive attitude she's ever seen... a gift from God... otherwise i'd probably be in living with the loons
what a gorgeous cat kayze
Thank you ADHA - Her name is Princess, my baby
how old?
yw Kayze :)
18 years and slowing down
instead you are just hanging out with the loons
happy birthday, adhd!
I have always wanted a cat. My family is more into dogs though, and since I am the youngest I have no say in what pet we get. =/ I am happy with our dog Max though.
sounds like a good friend, adhd
hi pam!
hi, ping!!!!
any help with the first pi6 and pi7 please?
i've got Gidget (aka Gidgey) sleeping under my blanket as we play, she'll be 17 next week. still chases squirrels and mice, but she's got cataracts and can't hear a thing... not even a tablesaw!! and last week, after she's been laying down for hours, when she gets up, she falls over a few times (rear legs)
LE 7?
its, are you really only 12?
oh. btw. she's a cat lol
this pet food thing is too scary
Yup!
ADHD - Mine takes arthritis meds.
you are very articulate, its!
my dog takes aspirin for her arthritis--under a vet's supervision, of course
do u think it's arthritis? my hubby thought it was her equilibrium, but it's only when she first gets up, then it goes away.
may i have a clue please for re7/28?ty
Princess's spine is fusing together in several places and it makes it hard for her to walk.
i'm sorry owl, but i don't have it yet
re + lift up and re + putting pen to paper
i don't, either, TO
My Great Aunt's old dog, Tinkerbell, died Sept. of '05, and I grew up with her, she had to get some shot a few times a day. She was 15, and a Toy Poodle.
oh... Gidge has no problem walking, only first getting started.. and my daughter in law picked her up the other day and Gidge doesn't like to be picked up, so she scrambled out of Teresa's arms and when she landed, she fell over several times before gaining her footing
thanks, firefly
maybe she was diabetic, its?
ok bbl all ty for the clues and the chat
aw i'm so sorry... it's so hard to lose a pet. i want to get a small dog, but i won't traumatize Gidget. Mutt is a gray calico who is afraid of herr own shadow, so i wouldn't care. eventually i'd like a dog... looking at the Papillons
i still need the very first pi6 and pi7 please
i have a friend who has the BEST papillon---and I don't really like the small dogs, but Joey is terrific
is that the handgun? or do u have that one firefly
pi 6 think of a flower, African V*****
i have that one ADHD
thanks, adhd
thanks so much msree!
hey all
I don't know. Aww but we go up to Chicago to see my Great AUnt every summer, and the summer before she died, I think she knew she was going to die. She used to bite me whenever I tried to pick her up, and that summer she like wanted me to hold her. Plus, she would bite whoever was holding her when she was having her shots, and I held her one time, and she didn't bit me. It was so sad holding her though, she was shaking like crazy, and she was wimpering so bad. She was a good dog.
yw
hey feather
they are supposedly the best companion dogs.. love people, are super intelligent, easy to train... will run and play outside and then snuggle on your lap without needing to be "calmed down"

once the vomiting slows down, try just a teaspoonful of the syrup fro the canned peaches. if he tolerates it after ten min. or so, try anotherr spoonful
i know, i remember you talking with scrabbler earlier! i was actually hoping to catch one of you
i have peaches in lite syrup, will that help?
this is an old, but reliable remedy that was used on my son (who was a barfer,,, great medical term lol) at your son's age
night everyone, see you tomorrow
lol, thanks!
you can use it, tho the heavy syrup is better. just try the spoonful of syrup only.
I want to do some cryptograms... Bye bye dawg!
where do you find them itsonme?
i'm going to check on him again, and then i might as well work on the grid some. i was planning on going to bed, but i think i'll stay up a litte bit to keep an ear open for him

daycare at a house. my mom had this virus last saturday night. she threw up at midnight, then had the runs all week. her roommate got it wednesday, threw up that day, same pattern. now him.
in5/10 small waterway
in5/10- narrow body of water inbetween lands in6/18- plural 5/10
in6/18 make it plural
he and i were at the house wednesday. didn't come in contact with mom's roommate, as she was out of the house at the time, but still.
chances are he did not get it from your mom if it was a week ago
frits
in5/10- in+ *** the season to be jolly (I stole this from someone else! It was a good hint.)
but, he is at a social age and can pick up things more now.

last two letters are like the beginning of a winter sport
po: you sharpen a pencil to get a po***; then add second vowel; then plural; then plural the first po5
po 5, 6, 7 a ballet dancer on her toes.
le 7 = season before Easter + isk

if he wants anything now, you can try the syrup, it not he'll be okay till breakfast. if he's not vomiting any more and doesn't have severe diarrhea, he won't become dehydrated, so you don't have to worry about hydrating him during the night.
le 6/21 please

wi5/18 NOT the electrician
the one after the electrician
wi5/18 -- wrong spelling for a color
got that one tedybeth. i need the one after electrician and before Magi men
thats the pl for a wi4/8 - oops
tried that. maybe i typed wrong.
oh.. u mean plural for color. got that one. need the other.

Just got it, ADHA -- wi .. go straigt to the left. double consanant + first vowel

i'm famous for getting the really lonnnng words and missing the most obvious ones!
fe7 & 8?
fe + double cons + upon death administer last r***; then plural

oh poo on you nut :-b lol
thanks word
38 to go
132 to go
104 to go
47 left here
i'm down to 43 left
i see the recall has expanded to dry cat food too
*whap* *whap* i'm a monkey slave driver
mcurl: is your icon a clue?
oh no--did they say what brands, nut?
they recalled the prescription m/d cat food nonnie
my boys eat the prescription c/d
there'll be hell to pay if my boys get sick
so they're ok then, right?
so far, i'd switch to be sure, but they are on the prescription for good reason, can't just feed them anything
So true...not many choices. Have they said how the "rat poision" got in the food and why so many different brands/types?
not answer on the first question, second question, same manufacturer, different brands.
so, that means that buying generic is as good as buying prescription i suppose.
now they are saying it wasn't rat poison...but a fertilizer used on wheat. The tainted pet foods have wheat products in them
what r u guys talking about??? poison in cat food? please tell me... i've got two cats
that's what you get when you buy from china
adhd, it applies mostly to wet catfood.
don't feed your cats or dogs any wet foods just now.
Our two are on Iams dry. Our dogs are Beneful dry and Alpo wet...Alpo wasn't on the list, the last time I checked.
they've never had wet food and they're 14 and 17
probably not to worry, hills science died m/d was recalled as well.
13 to go, hard to believe
my boys are only 5, still just baby boys, but fat baby boys
tabby, so they're saying fertilizer now? It must have been massive amounts in order to be killing animals.
Our little boy and girl started packing on the pounds so we took away the auto-feeder. I thought cats "knew" when to pull their face out of the bowl.
go jane go!
they've been saying pesticide on wheat from China for days now
the first sp6/21 & 7/32?
oh, I guess I missed that...

it's the one after a chuch steeple thingie
there is a 3rd sp6/7 -- a babbler from the netherlands, or a kind of fairy and pl
do you have the elf or little brownies, jane?
fireworks!
got it, it was nonnie's clue after all sp*** in the sky
after the church steeple is a Holy Sp****, or unholy booze
