What you missed yesterday was a conversation about goldies and the trouble he caused/causes. Hurshy made the point that some people who complained most about him are guilty of dominating and spoiling the chat log themselves. The person wasn't named, but Hurshy and I knew who we meant. It's slightly ironic coming from hurshy, I know, as she is as capable of hijacking the chat log as anybody. So if that makes me a patronising know all, so be it.

I still play, but I use the beta 10 and just fill in the clues column. It's still fun and good practice and once in awhile I get lucky, finish, and surprise myself. Right now I'm at 1028 and I won't get back to 1030 until the end of summer or early fall.
If you don't finish, your point credits go to the middle column, but subtracts from the right column.

took her urine to the doctor's and she is getting antibiotics, she has a severe bladder infection again. Also on Atalante's advice found cranberry tablets and we will let her take one of those daily now, to prevent another infection. Poor little thing, it hurts so much.

yes, it can be very painful. She couldn't stand up straight, could hardly walk, and weeing was awfully painful. At least that is better now. And no, cranberry juice doesn't cure infections, but it helps preventing bladder infection.

Sprite, couldnt help reading about the bladder infection stuff. As a child before antibiotics were available, I had constant bladder infections. My uncle was an MD and made me drink carbonated water, eat saltless food, and no meat. I had a standing excuse with my teachers, not to delay my run to the toilet ever. Oh one more thing, I wore underpants knitted from angora wool. Made me feel better anyway.
