babbled, I am fairly new too. For a large grid I try to get at least 1/3 of them. For a smaller grid like this one I try to get them all.

well, the puzzles themselves are pretty simple, they require some good hand-eye coordination and an ability to do geometry quickly in one's head... perfect for the one child who struggles with those tasks, and nice for me because it's something I do well.
ergh, i'm not good with either one of those topics, especially under pressure!
well, by geometry I mean rotating shapes of various color combos ... some puzzles are similar to the old tetris game
anyway, it's the first game of its type that I really enjoy -- and it's nice to be able to play it WITH the children. Most of the computer-type games they play are WAY beyond my abilities!

My hair is slowing growing back from the haircut last year. It stopped growing entirely for a few months, and then came back in with a lot of WHITE hairs! not good with dark hair...

No not at all. My particular county does have lots of breaks within the school year though. But technically we are not on a year round schedule.
Boy! I'm glad I'm up here in MN and we still have 3 month summer breaks then!
well, it's been fun, but I think it is bed time
We have a fall break that lasts two or three days, we have a week for Thanksgiving. about two and a hlaf weeks for the holidays, a winter break ( a week) in February and the traditional Spring break.
AND that I graduated from school a millionn years ago too! ;)

maybe so. I just know that i feel like I never stopped working. As soon as I got out, I had to start grad classes the following week. They lasted until July 23 , then I went right back to work to get a jump start on putting my room together. It's a good thing i love what I do.
Loving what you do makes it not seem like you are working. I loved what I did; but can't do it anymore. I'm working on finding something else to do inlife now.
