We will hear the final result today, I hope. He is on the improve. Still not fully recovered, still has the sore throiat, still pale and tired... but much more hiself and getting a bit better daily. Our own doctor is back from vacation so I'll be calling him in a couple of hours for the test results; he has a phone-in hour when you can talk to him directly. Then I'll take Walter in tomorrow.

Well. its good to hear that he is able to go to daycare.. albeit he is still lethargic.. and you can discuss in more depth your concerns with own doctor that will help.
Yes it will. The other doctor said he can do daycare anytime he's up to it, and he likes it there and they're great people, so I took him in, but I'll be picking hm up early. And I really hope that test comes back positive-- I don't want a big mystery. But either way he's getting better!

Yes, I feel better about it all now; big weight off. Is there a specific cause for your back? A friend of mine has had a trick lower back since a car accident. Mine is just a slight instability; this sort of thing tends to happen every several years. But this is a bad one.... and all I did was bend down to put soap in the dishwasher! Well, that and carry a small boy around on my shoulders for hours every day... hmmm...
years ago whilst driving I stopped at roundabout car behind did not, ran straight into me.. no major pain then, but the consultants think the later years back problem may be linked to that accident ... MRI's ongoing etc etc ..Sounds like you have trapped a nerve, or pulled one of your discs..physio should be able to help you.
and carrying child on hips does not help.. :) but we have all done that:)

My insurance doesn't cover physio, sadly. Yeah, I'm sure I have trapped a nerve. Once the swelling goes down it should sort itself out. Oh, I do plenty of hip carrying too, just shoulders for longer distances, like teh 40 minute walk to the doctor: the cargo trike's broken again, so walking and the bus for everything.

Well yes, but especially when it is one's child's, so even with the back I feel better now that HE feels better!
I've also had my share of long-term injuries so I'm kind of used to it...

Just hope we do find out what this has been! But as long as he gets better I won't be dragging himin for test after test just so I can call it something. Let's just hope we get a positive on the glandular fever test he's already had.

worked great annie...both my kids were potty trained in under a month....with minimal accidents...under 5 total for both kids...
i changed to firefox thinking internet explorer was the problem, only to find the expert was the problem...she has days when she'll be as dry as a bone and others where my bathroom floor is constantly wet. I just hope that she dry properly by January, when she starts nursery
i had boys...i put in a square of toilet paper and told them to sink it!

my daughter had 1 accident.... and it was cus she was outside and too far from a toilet to get there..but she REALLY tried...cheerios work well for boys too

Hi again for a minute. Just got the test results back and Walter has not been suffering from mononucleosis, so now we don't know why he's been so ill. He is getting better.... We have an appointment for tomorrow with our regular doctor. He's finally back from his vacation.

I've cleared a space off the desk to make an ar 4/4 for my finished word lists.I've made an oa 4/5 to complete at least 3 grids in a week.It is very ra4/4 for me to go one day without babble.I don't even re 4/5 as much as I used to because of babble. If you came here I wouldn't be a good ho 4/5. You'd just be ignored as I babble. I've cleared a space off the desk to make an ar 4/4 for my finished word lists.I've made an oa 4/5 to complete at least 3 grids in a week.It is very ra4/4 for me to go one day without babble.I don't even re 4/5 as much as I used to because of babble. If you came here I wouldn't be a good ho 4/5. You'd just be ignored as I babble. My hubby has to ad5/14 to me babbling so much.I get in trouble with my babble addiction.Hubby will say "how da4/5 you babble instead of paying attention to me!
