Caya's hand is ok, thanks God. We cooled for about half an hour, lots of reiki, and it was pretty much ok this morning.

teachers come back on Tuesday, I'm an administrator so my summer vacation is a little different - took 10 days in one chunk, then long weekends the rest of the time

I've been joking that I cried when the left -- then I cried when they had to come home! But honestly, they had such a good time and we're all appreciating each other a bit more... :)

I live in Lambertville, NJ, which is right on the Delaware River, and there are great paths along the river, and fun streets on both sides with good shops and restaurants, so there's lots to see

Metal billboards were bent in half. My son was coming into my place of work & he grabbed the railing just in time. he is a big man (6'1" & 200 lbs). the wind blew his feet right out from under him & the only thing was the railing that saved him.
