I'm taking tizanide (Xanaflex) 3X daily. another Dr (who knows - or should - about it) gave me a scrip for Cipro (UTI). Info sheet says don't take them together. Pharm says only effect is to slow breakdown of tizanide, but she's very young, and I'm not completely reassured. :(

I can't stand cranberry juice, but I take 2 cranberry caps twice daily, and have for 3 years. this is the first UTI I've had since I started doing that
and I already drink about 64 oz of water daily
once you're over it, no bubble baths, no scented toilet paper... if you're prone to getting UTIs... my mom is prone, so she goes with basic unscented unsoftened tp and never takes baths... I'm not as prone, so I am willing to risk it
you might want to up the fluids temporarily, though not too much if you're already at 64 oz

the only other thing, which is unpleasant to mention here, is you have to always and forever be careful about how you clean up... that is a very common cause of UTI
