just looked at your bio spellit, 5st is one heck of an achievement, glad life is on the up.
In the last two weeks her vocab has expanded dramatically and she now chatters all the time. Andad is one of her new words!
So BR so far it has not touched it at all in fact I am hoping I might get some residual business as a result of the downturn. Signed up a new client last week and have 2 more in the pipeline.
It's amazing to watch them develop, isn't it? I'm sure Andad is very proud.

I have a dear friend who lost his wife to cancer - he was bereft but happily has remarried and it is wonderful to see his happiness restored. He and his new wife read out a pledge at their wedding in which they declared that they would never forget their previous partners as they had made them the people they were today.

Scrabbs, sorry to bug you with this sort of thing again, but Walter just had a cold, nothing big, stayed home a couple days from school, then went for three. Now one of his eyes is red, and getting slowly worse. I think he probably has what they call "flu eye" here; a side effect of the cold. My instinct is not to bother our GP with it, but of course this WOULD happen on a Friday. Should I see if it goes away over the weekend?

There was another guy who'd had a stroke, lost the use of his legs and one arm and one eye, was depressed for a couple of years and just lived off his disability check, and then found this place-- he was happily making the most beautiful dollhouses! He talked with us quite a bit about the techniques he was using.

We just lost a very important election on Prop 8 out here because a lot of churches spewed out false information and tainted the electorate...

I am a believer in the separation of Church and State.. if they want to get involved in politics, then they should pay lots of taxes like other businesses and corporations
