well no, but mostly because we keep all empty shoes away from him, and him from all filled shoes. Not for lack of trying from his part though! He has a lot of chewing toys though and that works fine. Even a tree branch that he stripped bare.

yeah and favorite flowers too. He eats all my stock roses. Poor thing even managed to eat a piece and couldn't pass it... well you know, on the other end. Had to help him. But since he did not see the cause and effect, it did not discourage his love for my flowers, alas.

they are pretty fibery, I think that is part of it, they are good to chew from puppy's pov. And I love them and try and take care for them. That might be an incentive too :)

Our library system has books that one can download for free (many, many titles)... but I could not load many onto my iPod (just tried it to see if it would work)... so I am a little worried about the Kindle, as it is a Sony Product.

I'll bet you have a library system or something similar in Canada that does the same. Have you checked it out? It works like a regular library, you get the book for two weeks or whatever the time frame is... can renew, etc... after the lending period it just cannot be accessed... so you download again if necessary.

Yes, it's a nice program, pam, but the high school tends to make it a little tough to schedule (they require a specific class AT the high school, though it could easily be met at the college).

there are good points and bad points about running start. sometimes the subjects can get a bit dicey for younger students to appreciate, and so some instructors avoid or water down a topic
i had a sociology instructor very upset about a Parent calling her and telling her she was going to burn in hell because of the topic (gender issues). and she didn't think her daughter should have to listen to that stuff.
yep. and I was concerned that our stidkid choose classes (to the best of his ability) that will actually help him progress as a student -- his goal is at least a master's eventually... so it's important that the classes he takes are academically moving him toward his bachelor's when possible. Otherwise he might get an AA and still have to take a lot of freshman and sophomore level courses as prerequisites for his major.

I guess it was bad when she was rescued. It was repaired last May. When I got her last July, her e*** were still swollen. In October, I found and removed a stitch no one had seen! Now, it's no that bad, but it is noticable in the inner corners and the vet thinks her weepy, allergy e**** will feel better post surgery.
