yes it is scaled down I use a lot of scrapbooking paper, you can get some beautiful paper, I also print out my own, there are sites full of paper you can download. everything is 1 inch to 1 foot from the food to the ceiling beams =) some people work in 1/4 scale now that is just plain nuts!
