It's interesting to see that you are moving back. Every winter we think about someplace warmer, andhave looked into North Carolina, but for a year-round home I find it terribly difficult to think of living without seasons, as harsh as they are. I could do with a shorter winter though and longer fall. This is really my favorite time of year.
eva, it has gotten hotter here every year since we came (06). all summer was 95 plus with high humidity, and I don't mean just a day here and there - this was, for the third straight year, 3 - 4 months solid. I like summer, love it in fact, but just not like that

Well see I had an account on there and a profile, with which I was connected with a few family members and personal and online friends. I went in to edit something in my settings a few days ago and once I did, I no longer had access to my own page... and neither does anyone else!! It's still like that. I have emailed their "Customer Support" which is an oxymoron, to no avail. I did what I thought was the only solution and registered a new account to make another page on. Same thing happened, again!!

Its not a fun suggestion but it works. Yesterday I cleaned the house. I vacuum and lit candles. I stripped my bed and remade it. I opened the windows to let in fresh air and lit some incense. I know the cleaning bit is not fun but its nice to have a clean bedroom smelling good. You can then pretend you are in your own private hotel rooom

oh, meg is such a sweet kid, and I saw your note to her - and told her to make sure she reads it. I remember SO WELL exactly where I was when one of my students (I was teaching then) called to say her dad had been on the 2nd plane....

Yes bugs, but if you have an advance directive you should make sure your close ones are aware of it. You don't want the doctor to "pull the plug" if your family isn't aware of your wishes. And most doctors will want to give the family a bit of time to get used to the idea.

In other words, if he got pneumonia on top of being unconscious, he did not want the treatment to stop the pneumonia.

Herin - I've damaged my median nerve (which comes right from your shoulder down to your fingers. Mine is trapped by sewlling in the outer side of the left wrist. Hurts like hell and the pain throbs in time to my pulse and 'echoes' all up my arm.

Well, my wine cure has worked for my injury. Can't feel a thing now. Sure I'll suffer for my typing latr though! "nd part of my 'scrip' won't be picked up by me at 11.45am either since it's now 5.01am here. I did ask the 3 drivers in my family if they'd pick it up for me but Beloved is working and won't be back in time, Son is off to the gym and Daughter won't be here before then to put her summer fstival tents up on the lawn to dry out.
