Have been staying at my son's. My small grandson has one of those mats with the letters of the alphabet and the numbers on it, about 7 squares by 7 I should think. I found I was sitting there making up words like in Babble! Oh, look, I can get bin, bins, bint, bints, etc! Addicted or what.
the question is, did your grandson get more words? When I can't sleep I go through the alphabet, figuring out 7-letter words for scrabble

put a layer of straw on the new flowers to protect them
For some reason lilacs need to be seven years old before they bloom for the first time.

You picked an interesting day to start ... probably good. There are a lot of short words. Just type in any words you see and when you get to 61, you've finished. There are a lot at the top of the grid using the o and also plurals. The words must be at least four letters long.

i am going 2 weeks from this weekend with my bridesmaids to hopefully find some dresses!
The bridesmaids bought their dresses off the rack, the bride got hers designed and made by a local lady. It suited her perfectly because she's so petite - full length would have drowned her.

Well, I know the experts would say that they're not the best, but frankly, wood's been used for ages and provided it's given a scrub down etc, I can't see that there should be major problems.
Our experts seem to have done a flip - the lignin in wood is antibacterial, so they encourage its use, especially for meats.

I've seen kitchen plans with work surfaces specific to task - chopping blocks, kneading boards (one wood and one stone) and a marble slab for working candy (obviously these people spend a LOT of time in the kitchen), but the articles always mention that you want them easy to lift so they can be replaced without a complete replacement of counter tops.

Well, okay.
so, while we have a moment...what's your strategy on doing a grid?
At first I don't even look at the tile stats - I just type what I see as quickly as I can find them
I do that, too...
...you must also be an extremely quick typist.
then when I start to slow down a bit, I see if there are any tiles with only a few words, and if so I try to clear those so I don't worry about starting on those letters any further (especially if the tiles are vowels, because lead vowel words tend to be slightly easier for me)

I guess from then on it varies on how difficult it's been so far
usually I'll switch to a tile with a lot of words still missing, hoping I'll find a good combo and clear a bunch
then it might be time to pull up lickety or morewords to finish things off
I like it when words roll into a bunch...makes my monkeys happier
I like it when finishing a combo finishes the tile as well, instead of leaving just one word missing (frustrating)
interestingly enough, I used to use Morewords, but haven't in a long time. Once I reach my "goals," Lickety and my monkey crew become my best friends. :)
"one word left" on a tile tends to happen a lot - often I'll be in a situation like 10 words remaining on 8 or 9 different tiles
