I think some animals have more nervous natures than others, that might be part of it. And some may have had a very bad experience. But also the way they were raised, I think. Our dog used to look at us when there was a hard noise. If we did not react, he went back to what he was doing. Maybe if you give him attention then, he learns to think something is wrong.

I fled, to tell you the truth. I stared at the room and then at him with HUGE eyes, then turned around and went back to my computer. Could hear him laughing all the way up, lol. Physically I cannot help, and with all the firework noise all day my ptsd had me in a constant state of panic. So I wasn't much use to anyone.
