Our false spring is gone!
Ours too but this morning it is above freezing. Spring bulbs are about an inch above the ground.
we had about 10 days in the 40's and 50's and the bulbs are up a couple of inches and (argh) even the peonies
Fingers crossed for the peonies. My rosemary bush has decided to start flowering - everything is so mixed up.
My rosemaries caome and go. I had one very old one which died of old age, I guess. Then a flourishing young wone whichi died anyway. Then a new one which didn't make it whrough the first year. And now a new one which is marginal.
And no flowers yet, much too cold for that. Pardon the typing; the house is freezing this AM
you need some fingerless glove - keeps the hads warm and fingers free for babbling :)
I gave mine to the greengrocer in th outdoor market; I thought she needed them more
my typing isn't up to scratch either.

so far so good, varumba. the water comes up, but has yet to come in. the house is sort of "up" from the stream, and I don't have a basement, just a crawlspace
