I had a sapphire and diamond ring (like a small version for Princess Di's, now Kate's) -- it "mysteriously disappeared" after a workman changed some storm windows -- I had left it on a dresser the night before.

I had to have mine made smaller soon after the wedding, then a few years ago had to have it made larger (hadn't worn it for quite a while, hubby had given me a 25th anniversary ring sapphire and diamond)I much preferred the sapphires!

They just don't... daughter is very fair-skinned and has a comfortable temperature range of about 2 degrees either way. When I say they don't like the sun - I'm talking intense heat.
ah, ok, and I thought it might have something to do with fair skin. I've gotten pretty tough over the years but SO also has a rather narrow comfort range for temperature.
I don't mind the heat myself.. can't take humidity however
i am the same,i do not like roasting..i like it right around 20c(70f)

I dont know anything the retail business so dont have an opinon on percent for consignment. You have nothing to lose by placing the items and variety is a great idea.

sounds like the gods of withholding are pretty close to the mark
sounds like a good deal to me--no one held his money interest free
actually he doesn't owe the feds anything at all, since he only earned about $3000 last year, but the state has no minimum and no exemptions (and he's a dependent on my return) so he owes them 3% of his income.
So he gets back everything they withheld for the feds but they didn't withhold enough for the state.
i started my taxes today . . . well, i sort of stared them in march, but still got a ways to go
