good morning
morning all - off to the sad event soon - i will be back later i expect. Need to get the tissues etc - advise on protocol - can i take a camera to take photos of the funeral flowers?
Yes, Kazzer, you can.
good morning, kazzer. I am sorry to know nothing about funeral protocol to help you. Bear up!
thanks haz
Good wishes for a sad day.
thanks Haz - its atrange - i dont feel too bad at the moment but i am not sure how i will feel later
I think any funeral where the death is unexpected has an air of unreality about it - the kind of feeling that this can't and shouldn't be happening. I suppose you feel a responsibility for helping to support your sister through this. You can't anticipate how you're going to feel.
evening all :)
hi mrp! how are you doing?
stopped at just half a little earlier
hi ruby!! doing ok... having my fun night with my girlfriends... see FB pic
I'll look in a little bit. WQhat are you going to do? Dinner? Dancing? Just handing out?
hanging*
we are hanging out, pink champagne... nibbles and talking old times
sounds wonderful! just what you need with all your woes
thanks ruby!! we certainly do all need it!!
brb... need to find more champagne!!
hahah
found it!! :)
is all of europe asleep still??
must be mrp but Africa is awake and almost midday
my good news is that I got new glasses, I can now see far, near, and close (reading) all from one set of glasses!! i can barely notice the distortion from one to the other. I see long distance from the top of glasses, middled distance from middle of glasses, and reading distance from bottom of glasses... working a miracle!!
hi ursh!! **hugs**
**hugs** to all who are lurking too
good news with glasses - soooo badly need to go and get for myself - am just using readers and getting frustrated - failed drivers eye test for night and barely passed for day driving
oh hunny!
if you have good health insurance coverage, go do it.... it cost me $320 AUS but has helped enormously!!
I also got tinting... extra $40
seems I must get what you got but was thinking of trying contact lenses but not sure, i am inclined to rub my eyes a lot
I am getting disposable contacts for long distance vision so I can referee football... we are not allowed to wear glasses
I get a whole season worth for $130
if you rub your eyes, look at tri-focals for sure
Here we get a free trial pair of disposable contacts to see how it goes - must go and get organised
but the tri focals sounds promising - note to self - get bum into gear!!
yes, we do too, I am being fitted on sunday morning for 2 of my afternoon ref games
luv ya ursh!! you will do well with tri-focals
I am stunned at the difference!!
I can watch tv, play babble and look at my outlook for beautiful sunsets!! just amazing the difference... I definitely would go for it ursh!! **hugs**
we are able to claim back on income tax here for glasses/contacts if we need them for work
can you imagine the joy I am feeling right now?? I don't have to squint to see babble!! saves me a facelift for a few more years! LOL
can't find that fishy to4/4.... 4th one... after male cats

pe 9 - plural of pe 8, someone who keeps trying to do something
see ya soon hun, enjoy your walk@
ta7= any of several nocturnal arboreal prosimian primates of the genus Tarsius, of Indonesia and the Philippines, having huge eyes, long hind legs, and digits ending in pads to facilitate climbing
sorry, not the plural - not awake yet, based on pe 7, someone who does pe 7
Lots of "fat" grids lately. (Credit Nancy Boy for the adjective.)

yawwwwn...morning!
hi car!! bbs hun
hello car! tertiare has her wax museum thing this morning from 9 - 10.Any chance you and the moms would wander over?
well, THAT killed the chog!
Babble has been really moving slow for me all week
I find there is always less chat on big grid days, as people are busy finding words
or maybe car is furious at me, and thus ignoring me? I just don't know
Babble has been really moving slow for me all week
I'm not ignoring you Kap. : D
Or you Trif.
it's fine molly. really!
How was graduation?
primos? it's saturday....
Oops, thought it was yesterday
thats fine! I appreciate you remembering....you are so good at that! you always remember little special things from everyone's lives, and you always ask. you are such a dear babbler
Hello again...
High school graduation was very emotional for me, all three times.
Hello car! did you see my earlier post about tertiare?
You graduated from high school three times, Molly?
Yes. I am sorry I can't make it.
hi car, trif, molly, bea et al **hugs**
Har dee har Bea. With all three of my kids. : D
can you video tape it?
not that kind of thing.....it's okay.
I will take still photos
OK, cool!
I thought mom might like it....I have to go right to work after, so I cant drive her home is all
I have too much to do this morning.
I wasn't too emotional when my girls graduated from high school. More like relief that they made it. Especially the youngest.
well, I have been telling primo all week that we should expect me to cry a bucket full. that way, if I am okay, it will be a pleasant turn out for us all
I am so proud of him, and all he has accomplished
Do you need me to do / bring anything...besides watch the house?
nope, not at all!
I think high school graduation is such a huge transition. Kids leave the know world of schooling and venture out into adult living.
btw, I am heading your way after work today, to check out the painting. so sorry about yesterday, fiona's appt took foreverrrrrrrrrr
That's OK. No need. I am going to be finishing it up shortly. It is what it is.
oh wait ...i have a lunch break today at noon. Could I come then?
SEriously, no need. It will be fine.
i feel bad now
Anyone else having serious lag this morning?
Kap mentioned that she was, Bea
Yes, I am too.
Just in my brain and body Bzzn....
good morning everyone :0)
Hello maryte
hello mary
wow...what a grid!
I rebooted, hope it will be better
so far so good
I am missing 1 F...have 5 to do with being untethered and 1 that is a guitar part.
I rebooted too and it does seem to be better.
do you have the mo4 untethered?
Nope...TY! I was trying to spell it with 3 E's...coffee please!
night all :)
cofeee
And I am now exactly half way. Good bye!
Nite MRP!
hello mr p
friday is only a couple hours away... have so much no and 200 words left
luv to my friends **hugs**
eeyore...what about "being worried" ? as an F word?
That's what she meant when she said guitar part
oops...sorry
I cannot budge the o in the second column. it is fishy?
ot5---water loving critter
Kind of. It's two different spellings of an animal and their plurals.
oh, just SHOOT me! Thanks molly
and that's nbt for me....off to "add value" BIG love to all my babble family
*Always pictures Trif sliding in her "life card" to "add value" *
All vowels gray.
Good for you Bea. Those are the most annoying ones to find, in my opinion.
Mine too. That's why I try to get them out of the way.

i'm chatting! not a lurker!

it's funny how sometimes you are specifically looking for a word and you think, too bad it's not there, and then you get the list and go through and realize, in fact, it is there.
Good morning all
*Thought it was just me*
there are 49 P words and I can only find 14 LOL
sometimes you should just go ahead and type in case it really its there.
bad typing this AM!
xd
A pox on bad typing, I say. And good morning to all.
Good afternoon all, my typing is fine Judi its just my fingers are c**p lol
last me 7/32 plz
me7/32 - me plus the sort of hat a cowboy wears, but lose a t and an n along the way.
I always thought those were just called "cowboy hats".
I don't see any g's or l's for "ten gallon" hat either lol
Obviously not a very helpful clue.
Apparently the cowboys in the UK wear something else.
It helped me, Haz :)
I liked it, Haz. Thank you.
me too , ty haz
See, the Brits know!
The cowboys in the UK wear white vans, Judi.
Really? Well, giddyup.
THanks for the hat clue!!
oh you mean golfer sue
You're welcome. The non-clued-in-cowboys can carry on scratching their heads.
*pouting*
No - in the UK a cowboys is someone who does poor work for the over-charged customer. They all seem to work out of white vans.
I think the hat Haz is referring to starts with an "st"
LOL - when you said white vans - I thouhgt you meant the Vans brand of shoes!
Ah. Hat named for John B. St-----.
me too
sotter
oops
john b sotter?
It's true I don't think we Americans use hat names much. I only know tuque and toque because of word games like this
He's the one Ruru. I hear he um...herded sheep.
that's not what I herd
rt
lft
oops !
Fedora, beret, boller, stovepipe, beanie, ballcap, helmet, etc., etc.
I see fedora and bowler etc and I know they're hats but it brings no picture to my mind
Hi Ruru
hi Dr
hmmm I don't think of helmet as a hat.
that brand of hat is also a stinky men's cologne brand name
Easter bonnet, pillbox, all that silly fluff the women wore to the Royal Wedding.
ah I didn't watch the wedding. I know pillbox is a hat, but again it brings no picture to my mind. I guess I'm hat ignorant. I have figured out this hat, though.
Fascinator, Sombrero, Coonskin, Derby, Pillbox
Oops you said pillbox
A fedora is what Humphrey Bogart wore in Casalblanca
porkpie
what's a name for the straw cones the coolies wore?
Jackie Kennedy wore a pillbox hat. I'm sure Audrey Hepburn did as well.
boater
what about the little knot things the peruvians use?
*knit*
good morning, Babblers! today is a magnificent day.
I think they are actually called Coolie Hats. Sometimes Mandarin hats.
I think they also doubled as woks.
lol
too many injuries cooking with them judi
Does a lampshade count as a hat?
it does at Royal weddings
*lamp shade* rather.
mornin babblers...
hi eva
Let us not forget our cheese head friends in Wisconsin.
Eva, how is your Dad?
no change, unfortunately. they are still running lots of tests. he is supposed to see a neurologist at some point. poor mom was so exhausted last night, she didnt even call to give an update...instead just texted that there was no real news. :/
Hello, Eva. Ugh. It's so frustrating waiting for information like that.
Aw, poor Mom. Continued prayers that they get to the bottom of this and Dad starts feeling better.
hi all - does anyone have the last be6,24?
Down to 128 words and not feeling very victorious about it.
nm - just monkeyed it
i might try to head down there this weekend. im terrible with visiting people in the hospital, but i know i probably should. and at the very least, i could take mom out to lunch and/or help her run errands or clean the house or something. im sure shes been neglecting basic stuff to be at the hospital with him.
I'm sure she'd be greatly appreciative of anything you do, Eva.
Can't find fr5/8. Any clue?
Got it!
Tm6. That's just cruel.
All the RE words is cruel, too...
Eva, I know how you feel. Visiting people in the hospital is not my thing either.
The definition of the tm word is pretty cruel too.
lol, Molly. That it is. I found the definition much more confusing than the word itself.
*cough cough* I think I'm coming down with tmerculosis.
Time to ponder lunch. BBL. *POOF*
ack!
hi all
Hey JMC
one s short of osmosis
Such a pity
and i was proud to have found it as the first word i saw too :-(
so 6/18 plz
evan as a person who has spent innumerable hours in hospital with husband son and mother i can tell you your mom will be delighted if you do any thing to help her and your dad will be happy if you come in long enough to give him a kiss and say i love you
sorry ivesy i just started
hi jmc
so 6/18 is a French word for fancy night time gathering
hi ru
does anyone have the de 6/21 please
the one I have ivesy, is an evening "party"
jmc, thanks. like every kid, i think of my parents as superheroes who are immune to everything. its tough for me to realize that they are officially hitting old age and that these things are going to happen. thankfully mom is still quite healthy and able to do what needs to be done.
hi ivesy :-))
ty lady di and hello:))
if you live in the de6 you may see an oasis
de6/21 - Sahara?

Did anyone see the film footage of the tornado hitting the Connecticut River? Wow, that was like special effects in an action thriller. Spooky.
She was on the other day, jmc.
lol no although my poor sister walked into a glass one last night
she looked terrible for about 20 minutes but the ice took down the swelling
she was the organizer for the gala which i went to with her
ty haz just curious
no i didn't see it molly
I watched the fox news last night Molly...it was incredible...those poor folks in Springfield
owie!!! JMC.
no kidding lbd i thought for a minute she had broken it!
4 tornado touchdowns in western Mass yesterday afternoon
i loyally object to terps not being a word
i hope the only thing broken was her pride, jmc. those tornadoes are just too scary!
she looks okay today
expecially when we dont get tornadoes up here...the destruction is incredible...many claims coming in today
is that a new records for tornadoes in western mass?
your poor sister jmc...that must have hurt
your poor sister jmc...that must have hurt
it clearly did--i only saw her after the fact and she still had te*** in her eyes
must be..we have a funnel cloud in northern NH yesterday but it did not touch down thank goodness
I loyally object with JMC
had direct things holding an ice cube to her nose--does nothing for the festive effect
*had
*links arms with molly in protest*

I sure she will be displaying vibrant colors for several days
What's terps supposed to be?
not so far river fingers crossed!
that is the university of maryland teams
pe 9/.66?
dont have it yet ruru
pe6/66 - looks like a heavy book written by one of the longest serving babblers.
pe5.12 + big book
The one who appears more often in the grid than anyone else and who is clearly in cahoots with Dr-G.
thanks got it
thank you
I'll have to thank pe4 later
You're welcome.
How do we know that pe4 isn't Dr. God incognito? Something to think about.
The very first re6,18 please -- driving me crazy...
And I thought Al Fayed had conspiracy theories all wrapped up.
re6 - place someone in a chair again
re + please take a **** in the front row. (place to put your behind)
Hey, when it comes to conspiracy theory, I am Mel Gibson in the movie. : D
It had to be something simple; THANK you both!!
You're welcome, Erda.
p's are conquered
yw. will so4 one please get me motating to do some housework?

Fresh and fragrant and tidy.

a couple of babblers gave me the link to flylady who is a perky to the max housecleaning motivator
did it work jmc???
so i read it until she said "make up the bed when you get up or after DH wakes up if he is sleeping in"
and I thought--DH should get up and make up the bed
*gags*

flylady is a good way to go, but i ne4 to be motivated to get motivated! lol

so even if i could get past the perky i was appalled at the suggestion i should wax my sink to make it shiny and dust every day
how many words today, thanks
bye river
lb - think of those sad cases who live in their dirt and heaps of clutter because they can't get motivated to start. Do you want to be like them?

Good evening from Helsinki
Hello bichon
Hi Bzzn
I nominate mo6/21 for one of the twistiest words I have ever seen in Babble. I had to actually point it out with my finger to be sure it was there.
The second mo 6/21
a hint Molly?
I have a mo 5 and 7
The plural of a word that is almost a motor inh, change the last letter.
motor inn
tyvm Molly, it's a song, right?
hi all, help with de8 pls
NM :)
anyone have a clue for os6/21?
de8 is a de89?
ostei
oops, trying to monkey and was in the wrong box!
take the de 5/14 and make it a person who
ah, found it.
good evening everybody
hi there ruby
hi ruby
bichon, still in Finland?
only through early tomorrow morning. Then we leave for St. Petersburg on the high speed train. Only two hours
St. Pete's is our last stop
whre is St. Petersburg?
are you enjoying your trip, bichon?
very much so, but it is tiring. We've been on the go a whole lot. Seeing a whole bunch. Really looking forward to seeing the Hermitage
Hi Ruby
glad you are having fun, even tho tired. hope you are taking pictures
St Petersberg is in Russia, isn't it? That was its original name before it was renamed Leningrad. (Have I got it right?)
Hi peri, Molly, bichon.
I thought it was but not sure (St. Pete)
hey hydra
and Molly
what an amazing trip, bichon! And it must be light until 11 at night that far north
hello pe** and plural
hi hydra and molly
:)
I've just got back from Heathrow. was seeing my lovely goddaughter and baby off to Vancouver. Won't see them for a year now, boo-hoo
{{hydra}}
Hi ruby!
((((ruby))))
Hi hydra
Perhaps I shall go to Vancouver and see them, tho I hate long flights.
That sounds a wonderful trip, bichon
It's spectacular and certainly off the beaten path for Americans
It truly is!
are you eating a lot of fish (but no cucumbers)?
We have been eating the produce, but it seems that everyone who has gotten sick has eaten the produce in Germany. There's lots of fish, but I am especially fond of the grav lox
and herring!
I don't like herring and pickes for breakfast is a bit strange
The bread and yoghurt is great. They always seem to have longonberries for breakfast.
*pickles
good night everybody and enjoy the last leg of your trip, bichon!
thanks ruby. Saw some cute doggies today.
today i have no crossys tidbit but a nice happy story if you are all patient while i post it..it is about half a page...
Today while going to a oncology appt,i saw something I would share with my babble friends. Please excuse the grammar, punctuation and any other errors i may make as this is a bit of beauty I am sharing and not a university entrance exam lol...For the last week or so we have had lots of rain in this area and as a result of that the trees are in full bloom and the grass lush and healthy. We were driving along a bit of highway that was wide open on our left and along range of small grassy hillocks of about 15 feet in height on our right that carried on for about 2 miles or so.......
Today is our first sunny day in a while and although bright wish sunlight it is also very windy(i would hazard a guess at 50 mph crosswinds) but a fine day for all that. We were relishing the crisp clean air and the sunshine and I was enjoying the way it brought the colour of fire in to my wifes long hair and and a smile to her face as she held my hand in encouragement and in anticipation of a clean bill of health....
Land and sea are friendly adversaries of old,the one being permanence at rest and permanence in motion, one standing firm while the other seeks to gain a foothold and chip away at the other, but today I saw land change its look and just for a moment or two flatter its old adversary the sea.....
The wind as I said was coming from the west and cutting across our bow as it were and striking upon the grassy hills in such a way that the wife and I smiled and laughed in delight at the effect it had on the tall and vibrant grass. The wind was making the tall grass bend over and ripple in light and dark greens in a pattern much like waves dancing upon the ocean .Watching it shimmer and dance across the hill like that made the illusion so real that I almost expected to hear the green waves crash on some unseen shore over the other side of the hill. Even the odd bright dandelion among the grass joined in the mirage, dancing in delight like a small startled saffron fish. W watched a moment longer as the green waves of grass whipped back and forth and the dandelion fish dove for a moment only to surface again to soak up the sun and we drove on..
A camera we did not have and would of done it no justice,a video camera we do not own,so this for you is a snapshot taken my my minds eye and written down here to share with you

*Goes to the PB with Dunce Cap on*
Nah, you just thought the one counted for two...
hey, you still found it before i did. and i normally look for the giggle-inducing words first...heh
last night, on So You Think You Can Dance, one of the auditioners was telling the hostess of the show how he bruised both of his balls... she burst out laughing so hard she couldnt breathe, and he seemed so confused...
finally, a look of revelation crosses his face, and he turns red and says "OH! the balls of my FEET!!"
::crickets:: well, it was funny to ME anyway...heh
Eva! that is funny! I have it recorded. love that show.
Sorry Eva, nasty old work intruded. That is a great story.

Hello. Just starting, read through the chog a bit. Sorry Kazz has had a loss.
Hello Soodle. New lottery winning prayer: I AM READY TO RECEIVE!!!! (Said with hands held open wide to the Heavens)
how long are you there for?
sorry i'm not able to get to meet you nan

In Salisbury! We stayed at the ollld George Inn or hotel. 500 years old. I don't think it has been cleaned since opening.
lol stidge -- we are at the Peartree Apartments - not far from there
Oh Gran Mere, that brings to mind terrible images. : o
its was wonderful really - the chapel was full to bursting with lots of her old friends and some old enemies that came to make amends
sorry too -- looks like Kallia is going to be tied up in Bristol for a whie so may miss her has well
Are they down near the river Nan?
Oh that's great, Kazzer
It was more the smells MollyL. Great location however. Are you there long nan? We saw the henges and the wonderful Castle area where Eleanor was kept for 16 years I believe it was.
yes i heard from kallia today - she had origonally hoped to be home at the weekend but thinks she will be in bristol until wednesday
We're here for 10 days -- yes we are about a block from the river and close to the catheral
I am longing for Yarcombe and Chard as we speak.
Moll - Thanks for that. (I'm finding it a bit difficult to Babble whilst holding my hands outstretched to the Heavens...:-P
i was hoping to make it but we have had a big project come up in work and we cant get anytime off at the mo
Need to buy lottery ticket before can use that prayer. Fingers firmly on keyboard.

ah i didnt see ur clue lbd! thanks tho :)
Gosh! Thanks lbd....
We were there when the pub keeper had just poofed off and the B&B, in the old school house was in shock from the sudden departure.
oh that was a while back then - was there a micro brewery in the pub then as well?
We also went to Forde Abbey and Chardstock while there. Such a delightful area of the world. Of course back inthe 1600s ancestral types thought the New World sounded more promising. Hence, we are here.
I really like Forde Abbey - we usually go to their Pick Your Own - the strawberries are legendary
Don't know about the micro brewery. We got to go up into the bell tower of the church. We also walked a ways on a public pathway.
fireworks.
If I ever get back to Devon and environs, may I ask you over to have a cup of tea? Right now not likely to do much travelling but who knows the future?

I'd never met Maxine before!
she's my role model! lol
I think she could be mine, too!
<---- Maxine In Training
the creator said she's a compilation of his mother, aunt and some women he worked with. lol
<---- taught Maxine all she knows. (Not really - wishful thinking!!)
Well, she's a wonderful creation 'cos we all know her!

Anybody here a Coronation Street fan?
If I could get one of the 9s I'd feel happier. Anyone have a clue to the pe9?

Thanks Glantarell. What's happening, Soodle?
Got that pe, thanks to all of you.
Yikes, Hydra... I would clutter up the chog for the nite if I were to go into all the drama. Potted version - John Stapes (Fizz'es husband, nutter of the year) is gone berserk, and Becky is also gone mad! (Clearly both characters are on the point of being written out of the script...)
3rd sp5/12?
Er... I see? No, I don't! But never mind. I'm off to bed in a minute!
jack sp*** could eat no fat
ty lbd - needed that - monkeys were worn out

Lovely clue, lbd. Thanks :-)

Well Glant, you know how it is. Enable recognizes SOME abbreviations (de4) but not ALL. Fickle wench.
perps and terps!
And bears, OH MY!
<------ Can remember every nursery rhyme ever learned, but fails to remember what she ate for dinner yesterday. :-(
lol, soodle me too!
That's because you did not repeat what you had for dinner yesterday over and over and over again in your head.
***trying to remember IF she ate lunch today!***

Goodnight everybody. I am abandoning this grid as (yet another) lost cause :-( Have a great day/evening/moring everybody :-)
good evening everyone
((Soodle)) bye for now
Hi Mom. Two more sleeps!
(((Molly))_, yes 2 more. Getting our nails done tomorrow
I should not have started this one, will not even get half tonight
I was getting my hair done one Saturday when a whole wedding party came in to get pretty. I had so much fun watching it all. Especially the little flower girl.
oh I bet.
that would be neat
we are all getting our hair done on Saturday but at different places. But tomorrow we are all going to the same place
That sounds like a good time Mom. Girl stuff done together is fun.
it will be with Whitney, her mom and sister
Can anyone help with a clue for the "TM"??? I never knew such letters would go together?
So, I take it that The Queen is okay with you wearing her hat? : )
Hi Chocolate Lace
pbbbt, she didn't even reply
tm + you and ** + brothers & ***ters
thanks Molly
Afternoon all.
Hi Red
Thanks MollyL... What on earth is that?
hi Red, how are you doing? Still on the crutches
this grid seems somewhat simpler than the last few!
Mom, she didn't reply because she knew it would look better on you.
On the crutches. Had a good report from PT today, so feeling encouraged.
:-) .... you think?
that is good news, Red.
My hair will not be styled like hers though
First recheck with the MD tomorrow.
good luck, hope it is good news. Please be sure to let us know
Lace, the "?" next to the word will give you the definition for it. Honestly, I don't understand the definition for the tm word. *Dons dunce cap again*
Well thank God for that Mom. Red, glad you got good news. : )
thanks Molly now I have the tm word!!!!
takes the dunce cap off of Molly and replaces it with the lovely flying saucer Cowmilla wore :-)
the sisters hats were right out of seuss!
((Mom)) that's what friends are for.
they were awful. Someone on tv said they purposely chose those hats because their mum wasn't invited to the wedding
((Molly))
could i have just the stats for that tm please?
(Just popping in to say that the tm word is a fabulous word for a fan-bloomin'-tastic word, which means sticking a word into the middle of another word, like I just did. My favorite example is "a whole nother.")
((Cross)) tm 6/21
Great logic. Look like an idiot at a formal British event because your Mom wasn't invited. *Rolls eyes*
ty mom
(Er, I mean a fan-bloomin-tastic concept)
Hi Vicuna
Tmank you Vicuna.
Hello. =D
one of them fetched well over $100,000 at auction
the hat that had the circles on it
I'm all for anything that turns idiocy into charity.
that one was sooo gross, glad charity will benefit.
I bet they have an attitude about them
hi all
i love it when the upper crust has some charity function at 00-200--500 dollars a plate and the lady of the manor ends up showing up to the festivities wearing 5 million dollars of jewels..and no one gets the irony of the entire thing...
sorry..just crossy ranting...
((((TO))))) hello there. How are you?
Amen Crossy
hi mom! fine and you?
Doing pretty good. Glad you are fine. I have missed seeing you
i am foraging up dinner. found something in the freezer though not what i am craving
We had chinese take out tonight so I didn't have to forage
what are you going to fix?
craving chicken parm but having zucchini pie
I have never had zucchini
chicken sounds good
pretty tasteless, must spice it up. i like it withyellow squash. suateed then tossed with those recipe ready tomatoes over garlic oil limguini
if it is tasteless I might like it. :-)
your combination sounds good
fast and fresh,,. can use garden tomatoes if you have them
sometime this summer we will have garden tomatoes
OR have a recipe where you make an italian spiced ground beef pie and use zukes for the crust
that would work too
we will have a small garden but there is a farmer's market not to far from here
so I will be able to pick up all kinds of things
So why is it... If these are truly words that are utilized... how is it most of the time these cannot get used in Scrabble?
enable is a wonderous thing...
Chocolate, Babble uses a dictionary called Enable
that is nice, mom i boght two patio roma tomato plant
here is a babblet for you lace...cwms..a common babblet
I think sweetie planted Big Boy Tomatoes
no roma though
Ahhhh... I see!!! Thanks for clearing that up for me... I tried to use some of these while playing scrabble and lost. I was unhappy, but just for that moment. (Smiles)

anyway, we had a lovely time and now are very relaxed and happy :-)
My mind is shutting down. I had a long day.
we make it a point when we travel to use the internet and hunt down B+B,s..top end rooms, huge breakfast..often less that a chain motel room
well, it was my birthday last week, and the semester is over, so that seemed like a good excuse (and I did get an email with a 50% off offer as well, which really tipped the scales)
sue, you're always welcome to come to Hotel/Spa North/Cramer. We have a pool and hot tub , plus a home chef for your needs!..in NewHampshire
first re6/18 pls
this place doesn't serve breakfast, crossy, but with Frank's dietary issues that doesn't always help us anyway - a microwave and fridge (which they had) are just as gold
*good
thx, blue!! :-)
Sue, as hard as you work, you deserved it. We should all treat ourselves every once in a while.
Actually, its our home, but you will be treated as family;)

The storms mostly went south of us yesterday but a friend at work was telling about her neighbors finding letters and supermarket receipts falling in their yards from several towns away.
hi again everyone
ty lbd
thx, lbd! weird word!
My monkeys thank you as well.
must have been scary - I went to college not far from Springfield, can't imagine tornadoes there!
yw
Neither can the people who live there now.
looks like tornado alley has widened to become a boulevard
The film of the tornado forming right over the Connecticut river is pretty amazing.
Does anyone know if the tornado touched down in Norwich, CT Thanks
I didn't hear of any. But the Boston TV stations have been pretty much focused on the ones in Massachusetts
Thanks, wht.
hi there lbd and everyone
Hi shoo
howdy wht.
ld
hi, shooshoo!
lbd was just on...is she still around or has she blown away with the winds? hi uusue
she just doesnt want to talk to me. LOL
Didn't read about any tornado damage in Connecticut Peach.
Thank you so much, MollyL. My youngest daughter lives there.
I am sure if there had been some, it would have been on the news. The local TV has been pretty much all tornado, all the time since yesterday.
With the exception of a certain hockey game which didn't go so well either.
Well, maybe crossy liked the outcome of the game.
Yay Canucks!!
gapeach, I have a friend whose sister lives in Somers, CT, which is much closer to MA than Norwich is, and the closest tornado to them was in Springfield, MA. So I am sure your daughter's town is fine (it is quite far from MA)
Although my fan love is for The Habs.
evening all (left last night without nbt, but first 2 words I found gave it to me ... now to 'finish' *cough*)
hi, pini!
sorry to hear about the tornados still going on...hope all families and friends are doing well!

ty Molly. I guess I will have to overlook your poor taste in hockey teams.
ah. I think the midwest is on an earlier schedule in general; the K-12 finish earlier than I remember finishing as well (we always went through about the 3rd week of June)
babbler, pe**winkle + heavy book
oh, add another consonant between name and book
the other pe9 is pt of the one above it.
thx lbd - I'm still working on the 'heavy book'
Babbler pe4 + adi** is goodbye in Spanish + *** for Two
guess I should probably find a few more words before asking for the 9s

thx, josh!
ty, josh. Kind of like this grid.
Fireworks
did not want to hear that - after driving 12 hours the last thing i need is a grid that does not cooperate for quick completion

wtg wht !!!! ~~~~ !!!!
hi, gwen!
squirrels??
Does anyone need a clue before I go.
ty gwen.
hi sue, and see joshua's comment at 9:33
ah.
how many squirrels does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
I don't know gwen.
only two, but . . . how to they get in there?
I don't know but my son used to have squirrels screwing on the windowsill of his apartment in Minneapolis (probably you didn't want to know that...)
I'm going to bed now gwen.
lol, gwen!
Night all. {poof}
must have been a bigger windwosill than what I gots
It was, and there was considerable ivy overgrowing it, so they nested there. He thought it was cute at first.
it does sound very cute . . .
unfortunately it turns out they can be rather noisy while, shall we say, getting it on...
i've heard that about humans, too (!)
well, that would be annoying if it took place on your windowsill too frequently too, I suppose!!
or in the apartment just above yours (!)
and my new phantom is .... meteor
I see our babbler , Jean is in the grid
I saw that too!
4:00 am -- going back to bed to see if I can get a little more sleep -- back sometime :)
night, nan!
and it is only 10 pm here but I have 137 left, a number with some significance in physics (the fine structure constant is about 1/137) so I am going to go to bed too. See you all tomorrow!!!!!!!!
love it, gwen!! LOL
fireworks finally - good night all
congrats, teach!
