hello master_p
how are you finding the grid....I'm down to 47 left
hello jilli!
I just got on here... no babble expert at the farm
I got a late start and have only been sporadic since so have 184 left
having a lovely time with my dad, his girlfriend and the kids!! I tought them all how to drive today! The smiles on their faces was priceless! My daughter is now taking my father out to show him just what a great driver she is
taught even
*
i don't know why master_p has come up!!
someone went and changed it on me!!
who are you?
mrp
michelle... mrpresident
thought you may have been your son...lol
mrp?
when I get home, all will be sorted, but till then, I am master_president... but still mrp
I thought you might have been Luke too but then you talked about your daughter...
yes jilli... am on dad's puter and my name is screwed for some reason
ROFL!
sorry girls, didn't mean to confuse you!
maybe I should try my old email address as a login.... brb
confused???? tis okies, I'm that way all the time...lol
nup, didn't work
ok so it is mrp here!
never mind, mrp, now we know
I have no stats, no nothing!! waaahhhhh!!
thanks jilli et al :) **hugs**
can't you get Expert installed? I have the link in my bio (scroll down)
Hello all. Hi master_president. Kids and driving don't go in the same sentence here!
hi scouser
mrp seems to have vanished
halfway!
Hi Jilli . I have been v busy with grandma-duties and not had time to read chatlog much but I noticed the unusual entries from master_president. Strange.
she is at "the farm" and using her dad's computer -- says it's a screwed
ah that would explain it. I've had great trust in Babble's account and log-in procedures, so I hope the problem is on that one computer.
I think she hasn't used in in ages so her profile isn't up to date or something.
used it (sorry -- it's bedtime!)
Aha. twice.
I got up an hour late this morning so brain over-active!
and my brain has turned to fuzz
sorry, was busy installing skype for dad
Babble is so addictive. I did finish yesterday's puzzle two hours into sleep time.
i have to go for a short while... dinner time!! dad eats early! LOL
Hi mrp. Hope it all works well.
see you all soon!! *poof*
I must do that some day -- install skype, I mean
I haven't got it yet either. Son keeps nagging me.
%:46 pm -- that IS an early dinnertime!
5:46 I mean
strange.
good morning all
hi sprite
hi again, darn, can't sleep
poor flosey
Nice to see you, sprite, albeit briefly -- I must go to bed!
sleep well, jilli :)
Hi again flosey -- sorry you can't sleep
babble for a while until I get drowsy
goodnight jilli
I'm drowsy already -- 82 left -- back tomorrow -- goodnight/day all...*poof
I am drowsy still, grin. Had to get up early because our gas meter was being replaced. Had a bad night and was almost sleeping while sitting on the couch :)
over halfway in a breeze. Gentle grid so far.
hey all.. late flip..
hi m9
hi
can someone give me stats for the upper u for nbt??
ut4/5
ok. looking
wow... monkeyed all around that one!
smart monkeys
ok. can't do any more. got 90.. but must go to bed now
bye
off to bed again, good night all
night flosey, hope you will sleep soon now
lovely big grid but not much time!
ello everybody
is anybody still here?
quick 100 words!
hey rubyfoo :) Soz, I was afk
what a morning! I think I've gone up and down 20 flights of stairs!
yes, it is a fast grid for the first 2/3
I hope that's considered exercise!
oh yes, intensive exercise even. Is thumper that active? Don't forget that 'no' is a valid answer too when you are summoned :)
hahah. My housekeeper retired 1 July and today I was showing a 5-wk "temp" what to do. It would have been easier to do it myself! Plus Burt's constant activity and anxiety.
Fortunately, I cooked dinner already so that I can watch the race, undisturbed, all afternoon
ah, well, let's consider that investing in a relatively quieter 5-weeks.
of course you will be watching the ra4 from the PB
he isn't interested in the race, so I happily can watch it alone!
ooh, pb for me. Didn't see the ra4
see you later {{sprite}}, 115 words so far in this lovely grid
is your weather as wonderful as ours?
very nice. Bye rubyfoo, have a good day. Yes, weather is very good today. And neighbours are quiet. Two more weeks of building noise, then moving the furniture back in, then... peace and quiet!
I'm all for peace and quiet!
pfui so am I. Can you imagine, over 3 months of loud noise? Combined with ptsd? Very crazy stuff.
Clue please for re 6/33
hello gran, good day to you. Pull again.
Thanks for that and finished
gratz gran
sprite, please can you clue the re6/33 again as I'm blowed if i can see it, thanks
hi Jenny, think of the lottery. Pull out a number again.
thanks very much
yvw :)
fireflies for me. Very nice grid. Smooth as a baby's bottom until about 2/3 and then it has a bite.
does anyone have the a at the bottom of the middle row....for nbt?
evening everyone

hello, back for a few before the Tour starts.....
... are they going to ride past your house this year?
no :(
but it's better on TV anyway. Today they're in Brittany
when you try to see it in person, you spend so much time in traffic and only see a whoosh that it's not worth it
... I'm missing it this year ... they took it off the standard cable packages ... and I won't pay the extra money for the scenic sightseeing tour of France ... no matter how interesting the old chateaux are ...
so far, aside from the ra4 itself, it has been very dull countryside, so you haven't missed much. Except that (yay) Contador (yay) lost more than a minute the first day as he was behind a huge crash (yay)
<-- dislikes Contador!
... yeah ... but it caught Ryder too ... He'd be tied with the God of Thunder if he'd been 20 feet ahead of where he was when that first crash happened ...
I am rooting for Hesjedal and his whole team!
I'm a serious fan but am happy when Americans, Canadians and English-speaking teams win!
this is my 14th Tour
... not to worry ... they'll take it away from Alberto in August ... betcha he just goes through the motions ... after the first day in the Pyrenees ...
also Australians, because I have so many Australian friends
heis such a rude fellow
... I was about 12 when I read an old "boys own adventure" type of novel about some French kid who perserveres through poverty and injury and all those tribulations that heroic young boys go through ... and then he winis the Tour ... been following it off and on since then ...
did you ever see the movie Breaking Away? It's about an American boy with a story like that
I started watching it because of Lance when we first moved here
... thoroughly enjoyed it
it is thrilling and also a 3 wk French course for me every year.
I was really paying attention when Steve Bauer was winning the early sprints in the late 80's and early 90's ... his big moment was winning the Yellow Jersey on Canada Day ...
I don't remember Bauer :( but Farrar won on 4 July (yesterday) yay
we moved here in Oct '98 so my first Tour was in '99
... we'll see ... they're trying to put together a Canadian professional team for next year ... it's the only way that Ryder gets to be team lead ... but it all depends on how many doughnuts Tim Horton's can sell
is that like Dunkin' Donuts?
I've only been in eastern Canada
it is a shame that Australia can't sponsor a team because there are so many great Aussie riders
... big chain here ... but yeah ... it's closer to Dunkin Donuts rather than Starbucks ... ... it doesn't matter where you are in Canada ... if you can drive two blocks without seeing a Timmie's then you've accomplished something ... ... they've put one in Iqaluit ... about a thousand miles north of the Arctic Circle ...
but they use whale fat instead of lard for frying the donuts?
... as long as they don't use baby seal blubber ... ... too crude even for me ...
but how I miss donuts!
... Have you been to Montreal? ... Ruby Foo's is a famous Chinese restuarant there that was a famous Mafia hang out in the fifties ... just across Decarie Boulevard from the old Hippodrome ...
it's funny you ask as Rubyfoo's was a resto in Manhattan where my mother used to take me in the 50's when I was a little girl. And my brown chow chow is named Ruby, so I call her Rubyfoo (or Rubyfooey)
... if Tim Horton's gets to sponser a team ... you can be sure that they flood France with more doughnuts than even the folks in Brussels can keep out ....
I would be so happy!
My daughter went to McGill University in Montreal ... and during frosh week they did a tour of the sites of the city ... including Ruby Foo's ... ... when my mother found out she was all for jumping into the car and dragging her granddaughter back to Toronto ... ... of course she could live in an apartment around the corner from the place when I was a three year old ...
... thanks for the chat ... must drive wife to work ... see ya later ...
I think that two of my 1st husband's friends taught at McGill -- John Bruckman and Sanford Elwitt
and maybe and maybe Natalie Zeman DAvis, or at least, her husband
all historians
bye doeff
time for the Tour with 101 left!
*poof*

I'm enjoying it too !

goodnight ruby!
Ruby, the 8 means to reduce in number.
And she's gone! That was fast.
Hi all!
30 left. going to the store.... Hi sue and bbl
Hi Sue, how is you day going? I read that you are meeting up with JMC. That sounds like fun.
I am around but have to finish reading "Variational Analysis of Vector Optimization Problems with Applications to Well-Posedness" in the next half hour.
yes, other than trying to read this impenetrable (to me) math dissertation my day is fine, and I am definitely looking forward to seeing jmc!
Ah, the life of an intellectual!
so where do I find the total list of yesterday's puzzle?
My math knowledge is about at the level of a sophomore math major, and this is a PhD thesis, so I am pretty bewildered.
Annie, if you go to the archives link above the chat log
annie, click on archives, then click on yesterday's date, then click on "view word list".
thanks sue
Sample sentence: "Please note that the image of the weakly efficient solution set, J(Weff(0,J(.,p),X),p) is contained in V(p), but not necessarily equal to it."
:-0 I have noted this but have no idea what it means...
did you all hear that Casey Anthony was just acquited of her 2 year old daughters death
not guilty for floridas mom
another one of those stories I have been trying to ignore - too sad in too many ways
coward
sorry
i expected it...( hi all)
thought you were talking about Sue..lol
hi carlee
hi river
boss is out for the afternoon so maybe I can finish this grid....
I AM VERY BRAVE, and still have 7 pages of this to go...
you would have to be brave to read that
I am stunned that Casey Anthony was acquitted. This is more of a travesty than the OJ trial.
if a criminal lawyer believes their client is innocent...they would NEVER let a client stand for judge and jury..they will go judge alone...the judge knows the law..the jury throws way too many unknowns into the equation....
isn't a jury trial required for some crimes? (another thing that I suppose I will have to learn about)
I thought it was the clients choice to opt for a jury trial.
I have not followed it enough to have an opinion. Obviously the jury did not feel there was enough evidence to convict her.
( not here...u can choose superior court judge. judge and jury, or for judge alone in provincial court
I do not know about criminal matters but civil matters can proceed with a bench trial if both parties agree
i think...this jury..felt way to omuch circumstancial evidence... and did not want to be responsible for the potential for death penalty
I know that, river, but wasn't this a murder trial? I just don't know if you can opt for a bench trial in that case
I was a murder trial so I have to agree there is probably not much choice but a jury trial
cowel
I feel deep creeps when parents get off the hook for killing their children. I still think Madeline McCain's parents had something to do with her death.
(if the DA is not willing to drop the charges against my son, this is a decision he will find himself having to make - plead guilty to something he didn't do, or risk a trial - not an easy choice - not that I am making any assumptions about the case in question, just thinking about my son...)
nancy grace will be ..entertaining tonight...
(and the charge against him is not nearly so serious, of course, but still...)
{{sue}} hugs
Jury had the option of going for 2nd degree which would be a lesser prison term.
Sue, something tells me, given all the circumstances, that the DA will drop the charges. I'll keep hoping for that.
jury's take their job very seriously - they will listen closely to what the parties say and consider what makes sense
I feel sorry for those jury members. I have a feeling that a lot of hate is going to be directed at them.
weas
weast
anyway, I am off to this dissertation defense - wish me luck! (I'm just supposed to let the dean know whether the dissertation is rigorous and the examination rigorous and fair)
have fun sue
sorry
so I don't necessarily have to understand it, which is good!! because I don't!
bye sue
one thing i will say..being in the court room is very different from watching it on tv
I don't watch court on TV. I have read the details of this case, and they are chilling.
Who did that jury think murdered the little girl, pixies? Outrageous!
who amongst us believed that elocute was a word?
Elocution lessons?
exactly. how can there be elocution without elocute?
ou 6?
I too am shocked by the verdict for Casey Anthony but I am wondering if this is not a backlash against Nancy Grace trying her in the media first.
a bad guy in westerns, bichon
ty Bug
I agree with you Bug about Nancy Grace. She is so very annoying
billy the kid was an ou6
But I don't understand how 12 people could believe that she drowned in a pool and then her mother lost track of her for a month. Florida
oh. sorry, i see that i'm too late
I thot the OJ verdict was a back lash against all the generations of unfair verdicts against black men over the years.
Yes, and how sweet it was that time would prove he was a criminal
that's what's baffling to me, bichon -- didn't follow it closely but seems there's a month that needs to be accounted for . . .
It seems clear to me that the jury was not thinking logically. Being responsible for giving a death sentence is huge tho.
and those pictures of her partying while her little girl was "missing" . . .
I too very upset with the verdict. My question is does she go back to live with her Mom and continue lying and partying?
but they couldhave convicted her of manslaughter which wouldn't have brought a death sentence
it has made me very upset. I am off to pull weeds and get my frustration out in a healthy way. Happy Babbling
Florida has had many dealth penalties. I could see it in CT where there's lots of controversy.
stuck with 67 to go -- BBL *poof*
poof too
hi all
checking to see how fast my message is posted
anyone else having problems with babble expert loading?
Not I

okay, have to go. *distributes choclits*
ooh stid choclits - need some noooowwww
Casey Anthony will be hitting the talk show circuit next week and is probably already being entertained by publishers for a book.
The justice system in this country should hang it's head in shame.
And those people who served on that jury? Well I hope they can live with the stains on their souls.
i disagree molly. justice prevailed because the defense put reasonable doubt in the air.
sick.... :-(( I can't even stand to watch anything about that case.
our justice system was built to accquit if there is one iota of reasonable doubt.. just one tiny bit.
i think shes guilty but i'd have voted to acquit due to our justice laws.
Does anyone have a clue for re 6/21?
redo the ties on your sneakers
And a mother who murdered her child goes free. Oh yeah, great justice system.
TY!
YW ! and past tense too.
And the 7 gives me firwords...
dont blame the jury. dont blame the defense. blame the prosecution and the people who set our system up.
awesome Bea !! ... I still have 84 to go !!
the prosecution put forward a horrible case. it was 100% circumsatial ...
she's guilty i think. i want that to be clear. i dont think shes innocent at all.
I am furious about this and I think that is all I should say.
As someone who lives not far from Orlando, I can say that I hope she has a good body guard. Someone of the thousands of people who have had this case rammed down our throats 24/7 for the last 3 years, will try to get her for what she did. They are already camped out around the house as they were three years ago. She had better watch herself, going partying again will be risky.
one last thing i'll say --- this is exactly why people like nancy grace needs to shut up and go away.
I agree about Nancy Grace, cannot stand to watch her for even a minute.
imw atching her right now.. im hoping her head explodes :)
I can't stand her either.
Cos, Nancy Grace or Casey?
i do hope casey doesn't get "time served" for the count she was fuond guilty on though.
nancy grace.
hmmmm... good visual cos
or both?
casey shouldn't die. she should live with her guilt.
It's already been said that part of the reason for this verdict is that Nancy Grace tried this thing in the media. If so, I hope she can live with herself as well.
i want casey to be tormented alive... i think shes guilty as hell. i just dont think the prosecution did their job.
And lets all go party in the PB for gr5/16.
and i also blame nancy grace and greta uglyface.
she is so opinionated and full of herself.
LOL.... we should get a reprieve on that one Molly ;-)
Ooooo and i just entered that word a min ago lol
*Mixing drinks and making appetizers in the PB*
unfortunately, Casey will not feel any remorse or guilt, she banished all that happened from her mind a long time ago. She has no conscience....
she will some day.
Casey Anthony is a sociopath. They feel no remorse. Hence the smile on her face when she returned to the court room.
i also hope the residents of orlando do not take justice in their hands.
one can only hope but OJ has not felt any remorse yet....
OJ Simpson and casey are both excellent actors
I don't think they will Cos. But if that woman sets foot inside a prison, she won't come out. Baby killers get their justice in prison.
they have a mask.
very true molyl
molly. lol. not molyl
Well, I am pleased to announce that there is now one more woman with a PhD in math!!! She gave an excellent presentation, was very much on top of her material, and the degree was well earned.
ah nice sue!
She was lucky to have you sitting in for her Sue.
There was a woman on the committee as well. They were fair but tough, as is appropriate.
ol6 anyone?
turn the ol4/4 into a verb, cos
ah thanks
Congratulations, uusue, on your very official PhD!!!! That's huge!!!
Hello All :)
wait... someone else defended their thesis...oops
not mine, mab (I got mine a long time ago); I was representing the graduate dean at a dissertation defense this afternoon.
np :-)
And you are right, it is huge for her, and was for me.
oh. I was wondering at the lack of jubilation. ha ha ha, etc.
btw, mab, if you don't mind sharing, where in western MA are you? I went to Mount Holyoke as an undergraduate (many years ago) and love the area.
does anyone have a clue for the ou 6/33 please
I presently live in Easthampton.
im looking for that right now too kazz
ah, nice, mab - I miss it...cornfields just aren't the same :-)
Bad cowboy...

the production values are better than most movies
Last of the summer wine i watch on utube
French comedies are awful, all hairy men in women's clothes....eeew
my vote goes to "Grandma's House'. Morning everyone
I particularly like how they usually manage to defuse the situation without too many people getting hurt - not like the usual shoot-em-up
(vicar of dibley)
sadie is the one cant rememebr the name the one with judi dench?

Judi Dench played in a couple of the 007 movies

we can only watch English-language stuff with French subtitles because my husband can't hear
ah okay haha never mind :)

If you weren't used to the British accent, you could watch them over and over and get new laughs every time
there used to be another brit comedy called may to december i liked alot
british accents dont bother me because i dont hear them lol
isn't a su6 a person who makes sure the troops are supplied? Like a quartermaster on ships?
I am so used to British and Canadian TV that sometimes U.S. accents throw me...

The true formal name of the famous statue standing in New York harbor is not ‘The Statue of Libertyâ€. It was named †Liberty Enlightening the World†by its sculptor Frederic Bartholdi, who fashioned the statue’s likeness after his mother.
help for i and e on the far left please?

oh -- wasn't looking for a shrub! thanks again lynxxx!
oh oh, banks and hubby *waves magic mama wand and sends happy dreams*
why is you pouting Jellen
Just had my hair done and what am I doing? Sitting at home playing word games...
Aw, Kazzer, banks and hubbies can be vexing!
does it look lovely - i had mine done last week and vowed i am not going to her again - its horrible and it so short i cant even cut it to get rid of the style
LOL Jellen -- because you love us enough to look your best when babbling???
its all standing up on end on the top of my head - makes me look like a cone head
I am going to get my hair cut, but have been putting it off. So many changes the last month I think I am going to be in control of this one...
lol, stid and kazz...It looks quite good, I think...
oh kazzer, that is too bad -- pretty scarf or hat?
any solutions for clothes moths out there - we are unindated at the moment
And I never take time to style it as carefully as she does...
hmm stid - they might just bounce off the top
oh dear, your hair must be a lot springier than mine -
it is and very thick
okay, past halfway and with NBT, I think I am going to call it quits for now. My eyes and, to be honest, my brain are tired.
(((hugs and choclits for all))) *poof*
I'm jealous. My hair is fine, thin, and limp...
the best solution so far is to bung my glasses on the top of my head and then it looks like the glasses are causing the problem not the haircut
bye Stid
((stid))
cya you all tomorrow nitey nite
bye Kazz
in the old days, they used to use moth balls.not even sure if they make them anymore though
Cedar oils shavings etc is what we use to repel moths
camphor or naphthalene - they are still available here
think i would rather have the cedar shavings
Oooh, the pb is gonna be full...
Just found ce 5/14
the oil you just soak a cotton ball in it andplace it in your closet
we do not get the moths here, but i think the aromatic ce5 would be nice in the closetsd
Hi, mel, btw!
I just bought a huge chinese carved camphorwood chest for $60...very very happy
I did not know camphor was a wood...
Yes - used commonly for drawers/chests to store clothes & bedding as it repels insects etc. Very light wood
It makes sense...I learn so much here in Babbleland...
The chests here were very common in the 40's & 50s - I am surprised you haven't come accross them Jellen. They are lovelly and always wanted one - and now I have!
Anyway - must rush - bye everyone
Bye, lynxxx...
I just realized I said a word in the grid earlier sorry lol
and hello Jellen
:-)
hmm help with either cu 6 please
cu 6= rhymes with the bu**** did it (murder)!

Thanks, diane!
You're welcome, and Hi Jellen !!
5 words to go, and then I must get the spaghetti going !!
Go diane!
do you ever put in a word, that is like a strange word that you would never use, and yet you know it is a word? like the is 5/10 I looked and immediately typed it in, and yet I have no clue where I learned the word. More than likely from here I am sure
our subconscious mind is very powerful.... just go with it !! It's amazing what's stored in there ;-)
Yes, it has been in the grid before...
I've been playing lexulous (a lot like scrabble) and even I'm impressed with the words I play!
I play Lexulous as well, do you play from facebook?
Yes...are we friends on facebook?
I do not believe so
We need to change that! Are you in the Babble Community group?

Afternoon everyone. Trying to motivate myself to actually Color my hair...
Do you have other babble friends?
Hello, red!
search for Rhonda Wetzell try it that way
Sauna pants are back!!!!!
Indeed, I am feeling the desire for them! Hi Molly!
Hi Red. You are brave. I leave coloring to the professionals.
It's odd, I am not sure if it is the surgery or the stress, but it seems to be ALWAYS getting grayer.
Is McCracken part of your name?
I just had my hair touched up at the salon this afternoon...
no Jellen
Hi, Molly!
e-mail me your name and maybe I can find you lol
Red, just thank God you don't have kids. They have a tendency to make the gray just LEAP right out. : P
I am no good at sitting in the salon, plus the prices....whee!
Hi Jellen.
hi all
HI T and C and Jellen!
I go in for color only (yes I walk out of there with wet hair) three times a year. It's only $55.00.
I am gl** for no kids, I do not think I would be a responsible parent.
eeek I need to run to the bank before it closes where has the day gone? BBL
I am not sure I could get that for 55.
I am getting interested ot see the last Harry Potter!
hi red - I've already bought my IMAX tickets for the movie!
funny thin gis that I totally missed the last one. I sort of wish I could find a place that was showing both part 1 and 2 and served a nice meal.
hi jess.
that would be cool, but a long evening...
speaking of not being a responsible parent, I'll be taking my daughter to a 1:30 AM IMAX showing...
indeed.
You are going with her...seems very responsible...
true... I might even sit with her :)
Hi, jessmom

Hi Babble Peeps!
da 6= da + fa ** ** ** ** (Christmas refrain) + yes in Spanish
Hey, Krista!
Jellen, it's been ages! I didn't play for a while, now I'm addicted. Again.
I find my addiction is cyclical...
da6/21 da + sounds like too trifling to work but different spelling
x
That's a good way to put it. Me too.
poker// babble///poker// babble..
Those wacky monetary units.
I'm not addicted...
Haha, ruru!

ty both
LOL...you can't do both at the same time?
I do!

Hello, kje

Hi kje (that brought her out of lurkdom, ruru).

Oh - brush with greatness. That's very cool.
he takes lessons from my tennis coach and I was playing on the next court and chatted with him.. he's a really nice man.
yes, he seems like one of the few sane ones out there
present company excluded
ahem!!!!!!
And he hasn't ruined his face with excessive plastic surgery.
that sounds fun, ru... good for you for talking to him!
yes.. he looks his age.. still a handsome guy nonetheless

hi all. and yes, ru has hair, and is second only to robert redford
kje is being a brat and telling lies about what you said
Hey Dorens..yep, she was lurking, too.
<---Wonders how much Dorens is on the payroll for

(pays doren off with vino)
he sends her free wine, can't trust her!
Bet that was good for a case of wine.
snap ru

ru has hair, and my daughter wishes he weren't married (would gladly ship me off to live out my life drinking wine and eating well with ruru - she thnks he's adorable)

<--- really wants to visit ruru now :-)
A Babble meet-up with no pictures? I had to get my mug all over the place when I had one.
kj. finally tried the beyrraras or whatever it is haute medoc yesterday... my friend and i LOVEd it and ordered a case to split
Hello, uusue
*note to self... send mug to Krista*
hey, i said my daughter called him adorable
hi sue!
al5/10?
Oh my God, Dorens must be getting cases and cases and cases of wine. Yee Gods.
hi, Jellen and krista!
oh, nice, dorens! glad you enjoyed it - nice summer drink especially!
Molly has gone over to the dark side....
you know of any unsulphured wine, ruru?
"I don't like mornings" will do nicely, ruru. :)
i am molly... everytime i like something i order a case... and then don't drink much at all. i will be broke soon, but with a great wine cellar
al5/10??? begging... need to get done!
Well, there are paybacks for all the Coke comments you know. Mwahahahaha!
sure.. Frei Brothers winery is unsulphured
Do not have it..just started. :(
a + not early
a + tardy,
let's not clue kje and driver her nuts
see kj, has hair AND helps you out with clues... what a guy!
ah - will mention it to Frank - sulphured wines seem to trigger a celiac response in him
a short drive.. I'm guessing
TY!
prob true... a short drive, I may go before you all!
I don't like this grid.
don't think any of us are too far... what are we doing here every day???
(promises to spoon feed Kje when she needs to eat)
and lots of wine ru...lots!
Hello cowgal in the sand...
<---Is starting to think Ruru has as big of a cyber harem as "the other one"
it's the woman in us that makes us want to play these games
Is that a clue?
hi, kap!
"the other one"??
No. I am clueless.
first ce5/14?
but spouting neil young for some reason
That makes two of us. :)
my firs is ce + ***turtlehead, but i'm still listless
a tree
It's the first "word" I saw.
(see... he still clues)
I am both listless and clueless.
ty!
Ah, thought you were referring to what I said earlier, which was "cowgal is not a word." Cowgirl and cougar are my phantoms.
oh, i see, kap. and didnt before. and tanks for the tree ru
Cow lard.
oops...lol
krista in the pb... drinking some nice wine?
*note to self.. change Krista's name to Krisco*
I wasn't here earlier to see your comments but it was my phantom too.
oopsie.
I was hoping some sulphur-free was in there, Dorens. Ew, ru.
was your birthdy krista? maybe cake in pb
Nope, ate it all yesterday. :)
cake?? and wine??? I wanna go in the pb
i'm listing... think this might be easier with lickety
you can go there easily, Lard Lard Lard. I'm in!
Yummmmm.
ROFL...your turn wildcat. That's how you do it.
dear me I believe I will
LOL
you did
nice job wild
:)
I know :)
Hi, wild
and Kaplan
is ruru perhaps in the pb?? I was reading back ...
hi.
hi jellen! how have you been doing?
I'm not... I"m done
Ah, yes you did get in on your own, wild...
I'm okay...
you get a get out of jail card if you have finished and screw up
And you, wild?
da6?
way to go ru, this seems like a tricky one
all of a sudden very busy again. and hotter than you-know-where
I think it would be very weird reading to read the whole chog from the flip onward.
is that how it works ru?
da + indian mango drink
da + most of tv collie
(minus one of the double letters)
Da*** Lama with a plural letter in the 5 spot
ty! good clue dorens
ty all
drat - must run with 50 left - likely won't be back - hagn all!
bye kj
glad you liked it kj. i'm on exercise bike now and wish i could stop and drink one myself
I'm having fun listing on craigslist
Bye, kje...good to see you...
You've kept the sick people waiting long enough. ;) Bye for now.
bye kj
Craigslist is good once you weed out the crazies.
it's all been fine so far
don't like to list until I am 2/3 through but am stuck with 106 left at the moment
sold everything I listed up to this point
Moo.
well I'm at 37 sue and I think you can get at least that far if I can ...
arf.
i got to 70 and was stuck. going much better now. and that is good wildcat
But we have lots of practice because we use the chog. :) That's great, wild.
:)
coo.
tweet.
I'm pretty happy about it. Going to post round 2 here shortly as soon as I find the camera cord again
roar.
Ribbit?
Oh, that reminds me...Think positive thoughts for me on Sunday...I have my second and final (I hope) auction then...
will do jellen
Mew
I am woman hear me roar.
Yes, will do. That must be terribly hard.
and moo, tweet, coo, squawk
Moo Moo.
Or maybe it's a relief?
Go Jellen!
Both, Krista
heard a couple of bullfrogs in the lake yesterday but I am not sure I can reproduce that sound ...
Woof.
where is Helen Reddy these days
Yes, I can imagine. :(
Why is Helen Reddy now?
oh no
Ugh, hadn't thought of her for years, thanks.
I don't think this is what Freud was thinking of when he theorized about free association.
Hi Ruru.
<--- trying to picture Freud on babble...
He'd only see the dirty words.
He'd fantasize fireworks.
personally I am fantasizing an N. Why is there no N in this grid?
I hate it when I wait for a client and realize after 20 minutes that she was going to be away this week.
You don't want a dumb therapist, really.
no n's because kje can't type them
cause there are four Es and 2 Rs and 2 Us
was on phone. what is auction for jellen?
and one S in a most useless position
That would be helpful, sue. So would fantasizing fireworks.
well, I can't type j's but am managing anyway (cut and paste plus onscreen keyboard)
It's my liquidation of inventory Tim and I bought for our planned antique store...
reason j's have higher point value than n's
oh, well i certainly do wish you good luck jell
yay found the 8 by myself
My e key is gone, but I'm used to it.
What does the 8 begin with?
oh. that's a ton of work jellen
de
de 8
my key is there, it just doesn't do anything
I hate it when I get sunflower seed shells stuck in my keyboard. Everything cmes ot lk ths.
lol
kaplan!
I have a good crew coming in to run things...
shouldn't be eating at the computer kap
So now that you are clientless, more time to Babble.
tweezers, kaplan! (and hi all)
If you want a clue for the de8- it's what you do when you iron.
hi gwen
Hello, Gwen
I tried to clean under the key but it's a laptop so kind of tricky
I forgot to ask if you wanted it.
And what is the opposite of irony?
Wrinkly, of course.
ha, not when I iron, kap!
oh groan..
Hi all, especially jellen. I haven't seen you around for a while. Hope things are getting better for you.
Oh, thanks, Kaplan!
hi wht
That is tricky. I ordered a new E key, and have had it for over a year but haven't replaced it. I am so used to typing without it.
and people comment that I'm bad.... jeez
Ruru groaning...
I am worse.
Hi, wht...approaching the anniversary, so things are getting a little more difficult again...
*nods head*
Hi Gwen
anniversaries are tough.
((((jellen))))
I thought it was coming up to a year, Jellen.
like I say, the key itself is fine, it just doesn't do anything when I hit it
Hang in there, jellen.
'sup krista!
yes.. you need to be around friends that day if you can Jellen.. no matter how you feel
8/9/10 was the date
and sorry to hear, jellen, anniversaries really are hard {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{jellen}}}}}}}}}}} }}}}}}}}}
and babble whenever necessary... you know we're here
that's recent...
i protest enable's unwillingness to accept "cowgal"
do you have anything special planned for the anniversary jellen?
LOL, we're all seeing cowgal, TO.
Nothing planned yet...
Hi, TO
don't forget to babble, jell. it will make us ALL feel better
Hence the indiscriminate mooing.
:)
oh, i thought that was in response to I am woman hear me roar
That's true, Dorens.
And he 4/5...the bunch of cows...
hi jell
thx for the cows, jellen :-)
hi owl
We are not cows. We will survive.
donna summer now?
I should have changed that stupid lock...
LOL jellen...
Gloria Gaynor.
I thought that was Gloria Gaynor
what, kap, are the cows coming home?
hi doren
remember a couple of years back when someone posted a video of a turkey singing as Gloria Gaynor?
gosh - how did i blow that?
No but I remember the youtube "I kissed a squirrel" when the Katy Perry song was out
You know the one: "I kissed a girl"
it's hysterical - the turkey has a 'fro and is singing "I will survive"
Easy mistake. You didn't say it was Dolly Parton.
i love the alien video, i luahg eve timery
That does ring a bell, wild (Anita Ward - Ring my Bell).
You are in the grid, TO.
you luahg eve timery?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybXrrTX 3LuI
Iheard that song recently Krista
i'd luagh eve timery if I could find her...
so is haz but she never showed :(

Love the video, wild. I love looking at the wild clothes on old clips like that (I hated the clothes then, personally, but I can laugh at them now).
Not as much as I liked the real thing.
see you Jellen and Kap
I have a neck massage waiting for me, so BBL. Maybe I'll like this grid more with fresh eyes.

Dupont Circle.
ty for the clues, i am packing it in

Bye TO
bye jellen
got that fish. it's native habitat is crossword puzzles i think.
time to watch deadliest catch and get motivated to finish this
i want to try and catch whale wars, but my schedule never seems to mesh with the shows air times
usually catch that on a sat or sun repeats never really know when it is on
that would explain it,sat and sundays up here are the days we cater to the tourists..have not had a sat off in over 25 years lol
Is there a list of "fish"? If so, where? Thanks
I don't think so. What makes a word "fishy" depends on the person, to some extent.
Thanks, wht.
finally 2/3 - listing!
bought 2 lbs of strawberries, one pint of blueberries, blended with low fat yogurt, froze it and was sooooo good
ooh, yummy, shirlock!!

Very tired...should be getting ready for bed...
Hooray for mel!
I have put my self on a strict cleaning routine
Tired here too, it was too darn hot today just saps the strength right out of a person, I think
For 2 days straight my b.f's alarm has woken me up on the cranky side
I don't like alarms...
I don';t like them when someone wont get the hell up
But they are often necessary...
They are but my gripe is the fact that someone doesn't get the heck up.
Then I go back to sleep till later than I wanted
Yeah, that's not fair to you...
Well It just means later start to teh cleaning
Toby has decided it is playtime...
Toby is a puppy?
Toby is a kitty...
You got a new Kitty?
Less than a year old...
awww Kitty. Have you put pics up on FB yet?
Yes, a couple
Must have a look
I have a short video of him climbing his 'tree' to the top shelf of the bookcase...
What a sweetheart
Has Max accepted the pest into the house?
Not totally...
She still cusses at him dreadfully...
Sounds like Pandora and Lucius
He's extremely playful, but doesn't always control his claws...
Opps
We have had a couple of fights here but we step in when Lucius gets too much
And he's always finding mischief, like tearing up papers or playing with my figurines...
SOunds like Lucius. We got this great big paper bag and Pandora was all in it being happy as larry and Lucius just shreded it. Pandoras face was all "MUM he always destroys things''
