I have a new one at work, and it's kind of a mystery to me in places
first, on my old computer I would enter a word and the pointer would stay in the box. Now, each time I enter a word, I have to put the cursor in the box and hit the button
I think there's a setting for that, hmmm, at least there used to be... let me check...
next, it seems to change font when I hit something but I don't know what I am hitting and I don't know how to reverse it.

wow, that one's tougher. But I think the pointer can be set by going into the control panel, look under devices, find the mouse, and there's a setting on one tab to "automatically move pointer to default point in a dialog box, maybe that will help, not sure.
if you are using the roller in the middle of the mouse, you might be accidentally zooming in and out on some screens, that happens to me sometimes.
the last one - last night I tried to use Lickety's list. Every time I copy the list and paste it into the add bulk button, I get a message saying something about adding lines before or after and that is cheating. It won't let me add anything. I want to say it has something to do with tab delimited but I have no idea how to look for where it works
but mostly in games on facebook, the rest of the time it scrolls up and down. See, I'm not much help. :P

I just tried doing a Bulk Add in Lickety and seemed OK
joey when you copy the words in your word list to paste - if you go to far down beyond the list - lickety says you are cheating - you have to try and stop at the last word in your list and not go further down

One of my favourite jobs every year is going to the garden centre to choose the bedding plants for our tubs. I try to have a different colour scheme each year and it's fun to watch them bloom.

Good morning/afternoon all. Can I share some sad news? I'm sorry to say that FMitch (Fiona) passed away in hospital yesterday. She had been battling liver disease but died before she was able to have a transplant. Her stepfather contacted me this afternoon to let me know. I'll post further details of what has happened in a little while.

FM hadn't been babbling much since July - her mother died and then she contacted me in September to let me know that she herself was in hospital. She was quite private, didn't want details in the log etc, so I've tried to abide by her wishes. Some babblers knew what was happening but I'm kind of shell-shocked.

I've not talked about this in babble because FM was very private about health matters etc and asked that I not discuss it. She did ask for some babblers to be kept informed and they've been very good in sending cards etc to the hospital. I was able to speak to her on the phone regularly - the last time to let her know about Spangle - and I just hoped against hope that she would pull through.
That's nice to know that she had the support of good friends.
I'm very sad, needless to say, but I knew you would all want to know. No funeral arrangements have been made as yet. Her poor stepfather, losing his wife in July and now this. He is pretty frail himself so this must be hard to bear.

Her mother died in July and then FM became ill in September. She's been in hospital ever since.

Haz, that is so difficult. When we put Biscuit to sleep last year, we were crying a lot.
She was very ill, in kidney failure and I took the decision to have her put to sleep.
I know she was a dear friend to you too. You made the right decision.
What was your husband's thoughts?
It was difficult in some ways - seeing my husband's distress was hard - but I know it was the right decision. I wouldn't put her through unnecessary suffering.
He agreed that it was kinder to put her to sleep than to try to prolong things.

It's happened a couple of times this year that I think I haven't "seen" someone for a while (both online and in real life); and then I hear that they have died. Life is so precious; and we need to remember that. I don't know if she planned it that way or not; but her icon really touched me too. (it would be just like her to do that!)

R 0/6 means there are six words that start with R and you have guessed 0 of them. As you guess, the first number changes. When you have guessed them all, the tile darkens.
It tells you how many words come from that letter
So if the tile says R 0/6 that means there are 6 R words from that particular R
