m9, with the old computer when I entered a word in the add word box and hit enter on the computer, the cursor would stay in the add word box. Now when I enter a word in the add word box and hit the enter the cursor goes somewhere else and I always have to hit the mouse inside the add work box. that is the first problem

the second problem is when I decide to use lickety's list, when I copy My Word List and try to put it into the Add Bulk box, it seems that the list formats so that each line is now three lines and all left justified, so I get a message that more or less sends a You are cheating message.

I had lots of problems with Babble and IE 9 so went back to 8.
the mouse cursor just seems to disappear.
is it only in babble that this happens?

for instance, when i lived in nj, i had a trout stream running through my property,
i could post no trespassing signs - folks couldn't fish if they walked along the river, but could if they floated down, since i didn't own the water
however, during spawn, the stream was closed to fishing, no matter who owned the banks
pond is entirely on my (sister's) land and feed by an underground stream
if it's a pond, shouldn't be a problem, but you'd have to watch how you stock it - very heavily regulated in some places
wow fishing is complicated who'd of thought?
no one would have thought - until folks started introducing species that don't belong in certain environments - you wouldn't think in a pond, it'd be a problem, but birds take fish and drop them, fish eggs, etc
and, before you know it, there are nuisance/predator species that have to be controlled - great lakes have a huge problem with non-native species
yes we had a problem with some chinese fish down here for a while that a brother brought his sister to raise to eat and it jumped ponds
invasive species cost our governments millions and millions of dollars - and still the risk to fisheries is immense

last month we lost over 1000 diving ducks due to toxic zebra mussels
they've just about decimated the clam population and are a nuisance near water plants
they clog up everything, that is certainly true
i tell you we are turniung this earth into a pile of crap
I didn't realize they were toxic to ducks though!
we are SO careful when we take our boat to different lakes - lots of people just don't get it

I am very deliberately choosing (when I have a choice) middle school so I can refine my classroom management techniques. I am pretty sure this was a good decision, though it's a bit nerve-wracking in the moment

I adopted a form of "assertive discipline".. and it worked, had lots of fun with the kids but kept classes on track too

That is what I am trending toward, the kids are calmer when the sub seems to know what is going on. LOL middle school only because it's an exciting age to teach, I am not yet great at it, but I want to share my interests and excitement over language and history with kids who are ready for a challenge.

as a speech and hearing science student I took the Physics of Audiology, which for whatever reason had the course number 501. A lot of my friends were DYING in physics 201, 202, etc, and they all thought I was some sort of freak genius to be taking 501. If they knew how dumbed down the class was, they would have peed themselves!

In my work as a reading clinician, I have to try to explain words that don't "play fair" all the time - for example, why doesn't forty have a u in it? Why are Polish and polish two different words?
