I'll just talk very quietly about tonsils..our 5 year old granddaughter is scheduled to have hers taken out in April. I had mine out when I was 7 ( about a thousand years ago ) and didn't have any problems but now I'm worried about Abby
I questioned the reason for her having them out and her parents said she has been having strep every 4 weeks and the doctors are worried that she's getting too many antibiotics
Hurshy,you dont have to wait until tomorow to see your Doctor,you hve been in so much pain, go to Emercency and have them take a look.
when I had mine out I had 2 very bad bouts of strep throat but back then taking kids' tonsils out was so very common.

my son,28 just had his out. i discussed it with his pediatrician when he was little because he had so many ear infections and strep. they were adamant about not doing it. he struggled for 3 weeks

have you tried putting Salonpas pads on your throat? The warmth might help.

i used to grind my teeth but i was treated for anxiety disorder and i don't THINK i do anymore but it may have resumed during recovery here, due to pain, due to meds, or something.

really considering i am having the combo of recovery from surgery and withdrawal and the same time, what i'm experiencing is actually remarkably mild i think.
withdrawals depend on how long you have been taking the substance. count on about a week . u will feel as if you have the flu. drink plently of liquids and juice. gatorade to replenish the electrolytes. my son is a recovering drug addict, have been thru it many times with him
and i already got past the terror and the dizziness and lightheadedness
i have been taking it for years and no doctor mentioned oh by the way it's only working based on a placebo effect at this point

honestly though that's why i'm doing it now, during recovery, i can't afford to take time off work for both
if the drugstore where u get your presc. didnt get a warning for the pain meds and muscle relax. it should be ok to take. my pharmacy gets flags if two meds. interact.

but you know sure i wake up in agonizing pain but the fact that i can then massage it and feel better fairly quickly, that's cool right

I am back to work tomorrow, but ever grateful that I have a job. I try not to take such things for granted.
I have finished the grid. Now I'm fr 4/7 to do a story ri 4/7 with clues for you to re5/16 to.I stayed ab4/7 most of the day today resting my he 4/6. Wish that I could do the same tomorrow.I must go back to work. It really ba 4/12les me how some of my students take extended vacations & don't return to school for two more weeks. Their parents do not see the need to he 4/6 school warning about their kids being absent for so long from school.Then the kids come back wearing summer clothes that don't really be5/20 them for the winter weather. Some students will act da 7/56 than usual since they have been at home for a week w/no discipline. Some of the students may return de4/6 to the world because they spent the week sleeping late and playing video games. Students will return and be de 6/30s by not doing what they're supposed to do. I think hubby wants computer.I don't want to get into a ti4/10 with hubby so I'm going to give it to him. I'm going to get up on my fe 4/7 & go fe4/8 my dog some dinner. Then I'm going to make dinner for me and my fe4/7. But do not fr 4/7 because I will be back he4/5 later ready to fi 4/7 out more clues before I reti 4/4 for the evening.

Just thought I'd let you all know that FB has totally screwed me over. I've now tried to post there and do domething on my Mac, DH's PC and our pc laptop and when I try to post on FB on all 3 of them; I get a message that says I need to go sign on on a computer and then follow the directions. Has anyone else had problems there today?

This weekend no. Well Sat night one of the cats put the tv on and it was red hot when we got up. So it stayed off.Monday nothing was on unless you include Cricket. And it was turned on late last night
We've watched some very good new BBC dramas on TV over Christmas here.

soon,we will be offerend what is called a la carte programming where we can get the basic pack then cherry pick 10 or 20 of our fave cnannels so we do not have all the crap
I've got such a comprehensive video and dvd film collection now that even the people who run our local shop (including dvd hire) come here to ask to borrow films. I find that highly amusing.
I wish we had a pick your own channel with Cable at the moment we have basic packs like 5 channels of sport and 5 of news and blah blah blah

I still have a puff or two but not actually had a smoke since November. It was really really weird NYE to sit about not smoking. I did at two occasions have an unlit one in my hand because I didn't know what else to do with my hands
A few of the small villages around here and generally in the UK have phonebox libraries. They are honesty libraries, where you borrow books then take them back and you add books. Not one in this village because someone would probably set fire to it.

Nosmo King here - you might save a lot of money by cutting me out of your life but thik of the cost to your social life - most local pubs in UK are now gone.
I actually blame no smoking in clubs to an increase in pub violence. No one is taking time to stop drinking have a smoke in the garden and being chill
The government in UK will never ban smoking entirely because they make too much revenue from it. But money that once came in has gone now, and they hadn't foreseen that.
Herin - that might be true to a very small degree, but I blame UK Gov for allowing 24-hour drinking as far as violence and more murders and road deaths.
But even when i was clubbing there was 24 hour clubs /pubs and there was not nearly as bad violence.
DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE and don't try to drink and socialise with anyone you have an issue with. hat way, we we all be safe at Christmas.
i know there was 24 hour pubs as we would go clubbing till 6 then go to a bar/pub/cafe and have booze and breakfast
Clubs used to be 1 or midnight till 3 here in UK.
People used to fuel up in the pubs and then go to the clubs,. All I know now is that the relaxed drinking hours hav caused more misery and violence.
We had a few dives. They have all gone and got cleaned up which SUCKS
And, of course, there is the new chemical drug culture to go with that, added to the lack of social conscience that makes people think it's okay to drug other people. This isn't what the 60s was about!

Herin - my daughter once got her drink spiked with Ketamine (a horse tranquillizer), I'm sure I've mentioned it before. She almost died on a pavement outside a club, if it was not for the lfriend she was with and the paramedics he called.
He was like a 2nd son to me, and even though they split up some years ago now, he's still my 2nd son.
That is disgusting. I never understand people that do this. GBH is the thing here not Special k.
