Yes there is.
ugh. and already had it too...
What you eat cornflakes out of. No, not a boot. :P
Oh shoot, sorry! Into the PB with me. :(
Ièll be happy to get halfway -- itès been a long day -- saw the surgeon today and got the okay to put weight on the leg -- the bones have healed -- BUT the wound is still open and I have to keep it very elevated to prevent ulceration. The trip to Australia must be postponed.
*selfheadslap*
no word now foul ---- Torgone
aww jilli!
Oh sorry to hear that, jilli. Hope that wound heals soon, geez.
and done, thanx for the last 10 neil
thanks neil -- so do I
wd granny
Oh, sorry about that jilli. But when it heals, you'll enjoy the trip I know. The last thing you want to do is be on a long haul flight with a bad leg
exactly, jan
and this is my last grid for nearly 2 weeks....but never mind, i will be thinking of you all as i lie there in the sun, sipping whatever cocktail it is time to have.
Oh granny, have a glorious time in NZ!
lovely granny..
Hi jan.
have a wonderful time granny - we'll be thinking of you
I hope you have a wonderful vacation
Hi Neil.
hug kiwi for me
Wow grannyrose... have a wonderful vacation!
and don't forget to pinch her in the butt either
enjoy the break grannyrose
glad bones have healed, jilli. You must be a good healer, ergo the wound will heal quickly and you'll be Australia bound in no time
thanks, mab, but Australia will have to wait -- maybe October.
Yes. It's good the bones have healed well.
Has the wound healed at all, jilli?
thanx jilli, major laundry done this AM, bed all fresh, bathroom cleaned....meds all packed, toiletries packed, just the clothes to go, and they have just come in from off the line.
ruru, will only do as you request if she agrees to it, lol.
sounds lovely granny....i'm the tiniest bit envious
I think wong should be a word
I think so too ru.
neil, thereès an area which is still open and sloughing, about 1½ inches long x ½ inch wide. It will take time, and Ièll have to keep the leg way up to help it.
But then I think anything I think should be a word, should be a word.
it only takes two wongs to make a right
think you should do your own bum pinching mr ru.
I see jilli. That's not too big at least.
So that should heal.
damn this è
How does that è keep happening jilli?
which e?
when I type an apostrophe an è shows up instead
That's weird.
jilli, that happened to me too -- I blamed it on the cat! But, you might try resetting the language setting
accent grave
I was just gonna ask about that, saanichcat.
great minds...
jilli, seem to recall vitamin E for wound healing. am i right? also infrared rays, as in a heat lamp.
É shows up instead of a question mark. It has happened before.
rather: l'accent grave
l'accent ague
Granny, the nurses here are using more sophiticated methods than that, such as a silver impregnated fabric and an iodine paste, better at debriding.
Jillibus, my friend's husband had a gaping wound (diabetes ulcer) and the doctor recommended honey - in the wound. For what it's worth, the wound did heal, a nasty scar, but nothing else seemed to help.
Was that raw or pasteurized honey, Christine?
i know jilli, but sometimes the old ways do work well, if used with caution. you could still up your vitamin E intake, tho. wouldn't hurt
I don't know.
was he waxing about the doctor?
honey has disinfectant qulalities
Hi it's called medihoney.
You're reaching now, ru.
Ohhhhh ruru!!
combing through jokes here
I saw a specialist burn and wound RN today and she has written a description for the local nurses of the best method. Elevating the leg is crucial, to enable the proper blood flow. Itès a damn nuisance and will really cramp my style and ability to be independent.
when I cut my fingertip off, cayenne did a great job in helping it heal
do bee sensible
neil, it is usually honey straight from the hive, not touched or changed, just pure honey. there is a natural disinfectant in it.
my grandmother always used honey for a wound- raw honey is best she said.
Yeah Rose... that's why I was asking.
ouch, m9
she took care of her family with honey and vinegar and herb that she grew herself
no! made it NOT ouch!
neat
holy tamale m9
was the tip reattached?
sammy goes to the pB.. sammy goes to the pb
and a holy tamale to you too
if so m9.. were you peppered with questions about how you did it?
no.. it wasn't the whole tip. it was about 1/4 of the nail and and flesh underneath and a little bit of the pad
takin my chocolate from fantasy candy with me too ru
your jokes are getting a chili reception here ru
:P
oh dear, how i will miss ruster and his puns.....i'm so sorry, my friends to leave you alone with this, be brave, and when i come back, there maybe some photos for you all to laugh at.....that is if groovykiwi doesn't be4 me to it.

That will be fun to see, Rose.

that's great! :)
didn't get icon changed lol, perhaps for tomorrow
middle English and coins and sheep all in here - things are normal in Babble today
flosey - love the cartoon in your icon!
Now this I remember: "Possibly (Ed Wy4's) best-remembered film appearance, though, was as Uncle Albert in Walt Disney's Mary Poppins (1964). His segment involved the eccentric man floating around just beneath the ceiling in uncontrollable mirth, singing "I Love to Laugh" and was one of the film's highlights."
thanks scouser, saw that so long ago! might amuse grandson
Loved Mary Poppins when I was little.
I wasn't little, was raising little ones
but I still loved anything Julie Andrews was in
we went to the movies a lot on Sat. afternoons, probably saw it there. (probably to give Mom a break, I'll bet, she sent us there alone, as did lots of moms back then.)
I thought best film she did was Tamarind Seed with the gorgeous Omar Sharif - it was so sad
well, there's another one I'll have to rent - he was not hard to look at as well
not hard to look at ! damned with faint praise there!
his other one, Dr. Zhivago, was a sad one
oh, wow, I'll have to see that one. She's still making movies, in the Princess Diaries, very nice part as the Queen.
indeed - I never saw the film of Dr Z but remember family members crying over the book (some come from eastern Europe ) . It has been serialised on the radio recently but a bit stressed on the communist . side
and He also plays bridge!! now wouldn't that be a thrill
I bought the book, couldn't get through all the Russian names, after seeing the movie I did finish, and love lthe book
at that time (way back) hubby didn't like movies so my brother would take me
scouser, if you can get the film, it is long but very good
I taped it and have played it a couple of times
must be away, g'night now
see you at flip tomorrow
night, flosey!
fireworks for me, nite to anyone still around... :)
congrats rbud and night

Hi Kaplan. Hi bichon.
hi all! and ruby- big hugs to you!
burt has had an incapicating bad back for ten days and I can't ge the doctor to come and he is reling on painkillers. They are very relaved abot meds here
wht are the painkillers?
that is full of typoes, Im sorry
can you get him to the doctor?
mostly paracetemol but he tried my paracetemol + codeine, am d the side effects were too upleasant
I am hoping that the doctor comes, but he is not reliable -- says he's coming and the doesn't
I am sorry if this question has been answered....can't an ambulance come and take him to the hospital?
he absolutely refuses to go to the hospital! lastJanuary, when he had pneumonia, it took until he fell and I f couldn't lift him untilI could call thes
I would call them anyway.
Can he get out of bed by himself?
10 days is long enough.
this is really horrible!
yes, he gets up a little,b ut then it's"oh oh oh" -- unbearable
I would call the ambulance and tell the EMTs to put him in the ambulance no matter what
Ruby...you need to do what is also best for you. You have been caring for him with this for 10 days. If it is not getting better, then he should go to the hospital. Are they like the EMTs here? They generally lean on the side of precaution and even if the patient is persisting, will take them to the ER.
first column grayed ..... good morning everyone
((Ruby))
Hello Mom!
Way to go!
hi Mom
hi Car.
I sympathise with you both ruby, I have suffered with a bad back for years and for no reason it would just go, but for all the pain it is as bad for the spouse having to cope .... send for an ambulance and then they will have to sort it for him
Hi Bichon
thank you for all your supporrt. I M SORRY TO SOUND LIEke sucha mes, but this is pretty scary
thanks Car.
And, besides, if he really is gorked out on the painkillers, they should be able to deal with him.
Hi Mom and Bichon
You have waited for over 2 hours for this doctor. Unacceptable. Time for a new game plan. Psychologically and emotionally you need a break. He needs to get better.
and what is your collective opinion about calling his daughte in CA?
I am sorry if I am coming across "harsh". I love you Ruby and you are in stress, and I can't fix it from here, thus I get my Irish up.
Get him to the hospital first. Then call her.
Ruby, if he has been in incapacitating pain for ten days, he doesn't get a vote about going to the hospital.
<-- love those OIrish!!!
However, if she is not going to be supportive of you, then don't call her right now.
that was Iriah!
being bed bound for a long period of time is very bad for one's body. That in itself should be a reason to get him to the hospital
I agree Bichon! Great point.
Molly, you are absolutely right!
Hi does anyone have a list today does anyone know plz?
Ruby, what are the reason you would NOT call the ambulance?
Hi Sandieangel

I agree with Car Ruby, this is not his call, it's yours.

I have 10 to go and I think I will go get some work done now. I wish you all a good day. {{hugs}} to any and all that may need them.
Ruby, please let me know if I can be of any help to you today. {[hugs}}
bye, car. hugs back
Hi all, what a nice little grid to finish off the working week! How are the Babblers today?
Hi Focal!
boot
TY Annie!
Hi Car
{{aniie}}
hi, focal, how are things in eire?
car. you are a real sweetie
Bright and cold, and it's F R I D A Y!! My favourite day of the week! And in France?
I wish that there was something anybody w=could do. The doctor's office just called and said he'd be here aroudn 6:30
very very cold here
ruby, are you going to wait? I wish I was there to help.
ty annie, this is very hard
I told him "you can be fat and nice or fat and jolly, but you can't be fat and bitchy!" He isn't fat, but he got my drift!
ruby, I am in agreement with car., Molly. I would call an ambulance unless you can handle the situation until this evening.
bye Car.
Hi Focal
((((ruby)))) I wish i was there too!!! I still think you should get him to the hospital - it sounds like he needs a level of care that you can't provide at home - the doctor coming won't change that.
I think I can waith 'til this evening. If his Md doesn't show by then, I'll call an ambulance
Ruby I just read back over the chatlog and you are having a bad day, sorry for being so flippant. My heart is with you. x
*prepares group flight to France*
ty focal
flippancy is good for me; this is all too serious
what time is it there Ruby?
ruby, then you have a plan..no doctor, then the ambulance.
It is almost 3PM
not too much longer then
I did the shopping this Am and bought myself a bottle of absinthe! Softens the situation
:-)
I must go and start my day. ((Ruby)) good thoughts and calming waves headed your way
((Hugs)) to all of you
absinthe doesn't realy make the heart grow fonder, but it sure takes the hard edges off!
*Envisions all the Babble Broads can-canning down the Champs-Élysees*
if Burt gets too annoying, ruby, tell him you are going out for a walk. Then do it! Even if it's only next door!
bye ((Mom)) have a great day
((Annie)) thanks, you as well
Ah fair play to you Ruby, you have to keep a sense of humour in these situations. And Molly, you paint a lovely picture!
Aye, tis a wee grid this mornin.
I love the image! All of us in can can skirts and doing hight kicks. And Burt probably wouldn't notice!
and imagine one of us waiting out there with some nice hot chocolate (with a liberal lacing of peppermint schnapps, or Irish whiskey, or whatever is to your taste)
and I'll do the can-can with you outside his window!
Good morning, all. Ponders: *if I'm going to be can-canning down the Champs, I'd better shave my legs*
Irish whiskey sounds very good!
it's on its way, ruby :-)
nah, the tight s will over all sins
cover*
my typing is down the toi***
Tee hee! I am so glad I popped back over! Whee!
how is your can can, car.?
No need to wear tights if I don't shave.
I will Riverdance alongside you all!
I once taught a gym class to do step dancing
it's cold outside there though, Judi, so you might want the tights anyway
this is such a comforting group
woolen ones, like what I wear!
Oh, okay. Tights it is. Vive la rive!
I am imagining all of us doing the cancan in the snow outside Ruby's door - if your neighbors don't think you're nuts, they will after we all show up!
used the \Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's album for the class
pretty good good!
What a shower of lunatics! This is great!
Nice taste in music Ruby!
Now back to work, anyone got a list?
the niehgobrs are kidn, give me lots of leeway as an American!
the rest of the world is crazy, not us!
exactly, ruby!
volleymomdee has a list
I'm getting the mail, having a little more avsinthe, and the lying down in front of the fire.
How bad is that?
sounds very good, ruby! You take care!!
Magnifique!
Here we go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lK0gYi1 YEZ8
I think absinthe makes the typing founder....
not bad at all. *getting my purple tights out and passport*
Annie, volleymomdee is offline, cannot access the list. . .
purple tights -- love it!!!
Focal, go to rankings and click on volleymomdee's name
YES CAR!!! That is US!!!
Oh Annie! With Babble Airways we don't have to go through customs! No passports necessary! It gives us the freedom to travel when we need to anywhere we need to!
And to smuggle all sorts of goodies where ever we go...chocolates, liquers, etc....
hi all, there is also list in babblers anon.
...cabana boys....
:Puts passport back in drawer and gets out another bottle of absinthe instead*
Thanks Annis, gotta dash off now and attend to some of my Babble-limiting domestic and family responsibilites. Catch y'all later. Slán :)
*envisions mooning the TSA as we taxi down the runway*
bye, focal, later
in our lovely private jet
The MD's pffoce just confirmed his appt
hugs ruby, wish I could get there to help.
Yay, great Ruby, things looking up!
Focal, I put Dee's list in my profile.
let's see what happehs!
(can't type at all, must be teh absinthe!)
Damn. No Lickety's List today.
OK...really I have to work now. I will check back in later to see how you made out Ruby. Bye!
{{car.}}
I have to be on my way too. Ruby, please let us know what is happening later. (((love to you)))
I have to go too - remember we are with you, ruby, even though you can't see us!
{{annie}
bye car.
Breakfast over, hearty oatmeal

Dee's list in my profile
thanks, hego - amazing stuff, wonderful site for folks like me who'll probably not have the opportunity to visit
I bought it for travelling overseas, when it is quite handy and have it attached to an old monitor while down here in the desert. I should have brought a keyboard with me too!
cyber, is it an ipad? i use a bluetooth keyboard if i have a lot of typing to do, works great
the link was almost better than being there.
bye all got to go, back later for last 11
Bye Kalia
(cyber - answered my question :)
no -- I have not converted to apple or mac, and probably never will. I absolutely hate touch screens
bye, kalia
<-- is getting used to touch screens. even my work blackberry has one now
ty molly
Welki, been there several times but this was better.
glad you liked it :)
No crowds and a clear view of everything.
the kids love them, I know - but they don't work so well with arthritic fingers!
62 words. Pffft.
Nan, get a stylus
Makes touch screens so much easier.
Hi Scrabs
'morning scrabs! how's the new addition settling in?
Hello kids.
I'm happy with my pc -- have tons of software for it, which would have to be replaced for a mac, not to mention learning to use a new os
Morning Scrabs
He is a little rascal, of course. He uses his litter box when I keep him in his cage (when I am not home.) But when he is loose he scatters his raisins all over. So I placed a 2nd litter box in the room.
Hi Nanette
maybe he'll get it
is he allowed to "socialize" with the others yet?
He will, but I have to be patient.
have the stirring up 7 - clue for the other, please?
good morning everyone;)
good morning, crossy
make it sound italian, cyber
morning crossy
hey crossy
ty welki
is anyone else experiencing a monumental time lag in the chog?
My rabbits are never together. Rabbits are fiercely territorial so it is tough to bond them. To bond bunnies 2 rabbits must be placed in a neutral area and be stressed, e.g. bathtub (no water, duh) , car ride.
howdy Crossy
Hi Crossy
i can see i am going to try "ing" endings about 1000 times before i figure out it will not work:(
right
did the same thing crossy :-/
wow - when my kids had bunnies (4-H, rexes and mini-rexes), they were always putting them together and no problems (all females) - guess we got lucky
I thought that was just about all rabbits did! -- eat and bond ;)
ty for the ag clue Welki
would have never figured that out
welki, there was probably some fighting and biting initially.
I've tried doing the tango a few times too!
I tried WOLF.
nope, can't remember a single instance, even during 4H shows. and believe me, the kids would have SCREAMED if their little darlings were fighting
could be the breeders we got them from developed some genetically altered bunny with mega-endorphins *lol*
Maybe if I got 2 bunnies at the same time and placed them into a room together it would work, but my other 3 bunnies established their territories already.
Morning all. Is there really 2 bo6s?
Hi Krysten
nevermind...blind today
know what? maybe it's because our bunnies didn't live in the house - they had a huge hutch with separate rooms, but screening in between, so they saw and smelled each other all the time
i see one...a baby shoe
Hi Scrabbler...i really need this day to be done and I've only just started!
There are 2 baby shoes, Crossy.
My day has just started too. I slept til 0830. My last 2 days were exhausting and stressful.
they were allowed in the house (and that's where they spent a lot of their time with the kids), but slept outside - that must be why they were different
as in sake your bo6
uh shake
ah ty krysten
ty krys
another shoe. hmmm....
although, if you imbibe too much sake, you'd probably be shaking your bo6 anyway . . .
lol Jen
My other 2 male bunnies are very skittish and my female bunny downstairs here is sassy and bossy.
Hi Jen
Morning! :o)
so 3 boys and 1 girl now?
Hi Scrabs
Yep.
Sassy and bossy? sounds like my grand daughters <gg>

happened at wally mart just the other day.was picking up a ereader for my son and they trotted out the extra product protection for 10 more dollars.so i cornered the kid cause he told me it offerers replacement if dropped and or spill damage.THIS IS NOT TRUE PEOPLE!. the company that underwrites those little electronic policies will only pay out if there is INTERNAL component failure and not if you drop it in the tub or the dog steps on the screen and cracks it..nothing external is covered
thanks crossy.. that is good ta know.. its all in the fine print, right?
which A's?
make the kid in electronics read the small print and he says"that is not what my manager told me" "he said just to push the product protection as a blanket replacement"
it is all in the fine print indeed

Hi Nef
hi Molly. Today, when I have time to Babble, it's a small easy (?) grid. 3 (almost 4) columns blacked out, over half way, NBT and NBS. It figures.
I don't think anyone is happy with grids this small Nef.
How many words please
... 62
only 62, dinnie
sorry, donnie
I will give up now thanks for info doseffing and nef
Uhytda
That last thing was nothing
what do NBT and NBS mean?
no blank tiles (in the grid, and no blank stats. I have at least 1 of everything
NBT - no blank tiles, you have one of each letter under tile stats, NBS - no blank stats, have one of each point count
thanks for telling me that, donnie. I'd been trying to decipher it
Nef I am truly sorry I was typing and did not really know it so that
need help with bo 6 - not the shake your bo6
nm - found it - fireworks
That goofy word that junk came out
YAY, wv!!! WTG!!!
bowtie isn't a word in the dictioary? How odd
Apparently it's two words Nef
I guess. And I've always written in as one
(not that I've written in that often, you understand)
for a small grid, there sure are lots of B words (and I'm not seeing nearly half of them right now)
Come on Nef, admit it. You go for the bow tie type. : P
good eve all, back for the last few! Indeed Nef, about the Bs. Feels like I have tried all possibilities but alas, still need about half.
good evening all
i have found all but 4 of the Bs
hi Glant :)
but I can't find the 2 x ag7
they look nice on men in tuxedos! ;-) DH wears one when he has some fancy dress functions for his men's groups; but that isn't often.
Hi Sprite
I have one, Glant. Shake. Or be very unquiet.
well, the ldieswear that a womn might wear when accompanying the man with the bow tie is in the grid
ty sprite
the ag 7's share the 1st 6 letters
i must leave you all for now,but before i go it is time for crossy,s quote of the day!
"We will be better and braver if we engage and inquire than if we indulge in the idle fancy that we already know -- or that it is of no use seeking to know what we do not know." -- Plato
tc all and happy babbling..poink!
nice quote, Crossy :D
and bye, dear one *hug*
ty nef
what a circular quote, crossy!
thanks Nef, for that clue. I must be dense today, must find that other ending now.
oh, and BTW, *I* do not have any fancy ladieswear to go with DH's tux (just to clear that up)
aha there it is, good monkey
so shall you not go to the ball, Nef?
:-)
*pastes on fairy godmother wings and flaps over to Nef's*
Glant; I'd much rather not go to any ball. I would much rather be comfortable than chilly and worried about what I'm wearing.
Me too Nef
I have some "dressy" slacks and tops, but no fancy go4/10's
you could wear a ro4/6
besides, orthopedic inserts don't mix with heels or fancy slippers
ok ok, pyjama party in front of the fireplace then
that is much more my style, sprite! :-)
and mine! :)
I can do pyjamas too - shall I bring the eggnog?
oh yes :) I'll bring munchies.
Princess Di's wedding dress and other gowns and jewelry will be on exhibit here at the Mall of America starting this weekend through ??? (I don't remember). They had a little preview on the news about it. All I could think of was how does anyone stay warm in those sleeveless gowns and such?
I have the fireplace, marshmallows, choclit and graham crackers for s'mores!
no idea. Must be very uncomfortable.
If you can afford go4s like that you only go to parties in summer or nice warm palaces LOL
we're all set then!
I don't know, Glant. I've always wondered who did they heat the ballrooms for: the women in the scanty dresses or the men all stuffed in the tuxedos (who often look too hot!0
somewhere in the middle so nobody is comfy probably
you're probably right, sprite
Last time I went to a fancy function with DH, I was wearing lovely slacks and a very pretty sweater and had a shawl that I had to wear the whole time and I was still freezing cold! And DH was too warm
down to 7, going boggle eyed, bbl - happy babbling
and that is supposed to be fun, Nef :)
bye Glant, have a nice evening!
bye, Glant
7 here as well, all Bs!
I have 10 left; all G's and B'sd
I can help with the Gs if you want
not yet, sprite; I'll ask when I'm desperate. (Lots of day to go yet)
hehehe spoken as a true Babbler!
if it was a larger grid; or nearing the flip; then I'd ask. But I have time today. :-) (we've been playing too long I think)!
yes but it is half of the fun, that pecking away at the last tough ones... and laughing at yourself when you discover you haven't seen a simple one.
ok, 2 more...
very true.
yep, obvious ones, my last Bs. Fireflies!
YAY, sprite!!!! WTG!!!
very fun grid for such a small one. Have a good time with it, Nef, and all. See you soon :)
Bye, sprite! hagd!

cruddy typing tonight, sorry
Fireworks and thank you ever so.
The other one is the same, just change the last leter
woo hoo Kap
thanks to you.
right, off to bed - see you tomorrow - happy babbling
Greetings Babble Folk :-)
It may be just us Irish broads here.
((((Molly)))) :-)
Good enough for me Molls :-)
I am currently concocting sloppy joes since the can of Manwich mix I thought I had seems to have vanished.
You might as well be talking Japanese Molls! No idea what a sloppy joe is, let alone Manwich mix!
sounds yum molls
Hey Carlee. Molly seems to be up to her eyeballs in sloppy joes etc...can you explain to me what they are?
its chicken fried chicken strip shere with ranch creamy mashed tates and corn
sloppy joes is ...do you all have cilli sause there ( sweet tomato and onion and pepper relish )
No, actually it's a tomato based ground beef loose sandwich stuff you put on buns.
chilli* sause
if you puree that sauce... and add keychup to it..and cook with ground beef
put that on a bun..is sloppy joe ( sorta)
Oh yes, we sure do have chilli sauce here! I would put it on my corn-flakes if that were socially acceptable. (I love the stuff)
Onions, green pepper, celery, garlic, Wooster sauce and whatever else I'm throwing in at the moment.
ok...purre it... add to plain tomato sauce...and cook that into ground beef...voila...sloppy joe
mmmmmmm *puts bib on and looks up molls address*
Shove over, Jmc, I'm comin' with ya!
It was supposed to be easy dinner Friday, but it didn't turn out that way.
( looking forward to chicken fried chicken strips tonight... )
I rustled up a rather tasty chicken with black-bean sauce with black bean sauce this evening. It was lovely.
bring some beer then soodle
is this a political statement? a presidential candidate is in the grid today
Erm.. that was only ONE black bean sauce...
i haven't decided what to do about dinner
nice... I was going to have cheese cannaloni but my daughter here for dinner and she hates all things pasta...
the sink is connected and so is the dishwasher!
sounds good either way soodle
thinking about mac and cheese myself
oh yay jmc! enjoy
its soooo exiting and my kitchen is so pretty!
If any of my offspring hated pasta, they would not have survived to adulthood.
yay for jmc!!!!
i think about mac and cheese a lot. i just rarely actually eat it
you mention pasta and watch the child turn green
Oh, JMC, are you back in your house and all is well?
i never left it and that was the biggest problem soodle
the kitchen is 99.9999999999999999999999999% done
its a texture thing with her.... hates it all
excellent...so very exciting jmc...
I know, JMC, I was following the pictures. Yay for 99.99999%
i understand car--most of the food i don't like is because of texture--rice pudding and tapioca being at the top of the list
unusual carlee... most kids do like it. sorry for you
i need new pictures--they strung the railings outside my bedroom today
its ok... chicken fried chicken and smashed taters work with corn...( making them ranch)..tomorrow I will prep all my superbowl food ( nacho dip, home made chicken wings and cream puffs )
my boy hated peanut butter so i never got to give him pb&j easy suppers
Still awaiting updates on the Manwich-free Sloppy Joes from Molls...
i hated peanut butter as a kid too, My mother accepted it, but my friends' mothers went crazy ( I would eat cream cheese and jellly, but no pb) Now I actually like it, but natural, with no sugar, etc
Superbowl in the US, Rugby 6 nations here. Go Ireland!!!!
i made sloppy joe's years ago soodle, when manwich was not even a gleam in a corporation's eye. the only way to make it was to follow a recipe
<------------ Loves Peanut butter.
i loved it--and we even ate non-sweetend pb when i was growing up (an oddity at the time)
(or make one up yourself)
actually i never have had a non-scratch sloppy joe
i have alove hate rel with peanut butter... i go through fits and starts and even onc ein a while crave peanut butter cookies....but most of the time i hate it
manwich?
manwish is a brand of sloppy joe sauce jmc
the good part was i got all the reeses at halloween
oh yes carlee.. even when i hated peanut butter, i loved it in cookes
i have seen it advertised and i never made the connection
Am going to get a recipe for sloppy joes off the internet and try them. Soodle the trendsetter!!!
is there a be between the two be5x14s?
haha soodle
sorry kitty i have no clue
good idea
ok..well gotta go grab my daughter..then make dinner toodles all
bye car
I'm not much good to you Kitty, I only have one be 5/14.
i'm down to ten. no list.. no idea, sorry
i have no be 5/14
Bye Carlee. Bon apetite!
yes there is a be6/30
monkeyed it - thanks!
wtg kitty
same here. thanks dan
santa claus?
The sloppy joes seem to be a success. They need to simmer a bit more and then I will shred up some cole slaw to go with.
nice molly
yumm that and a beer and i am set
i made something up that is kind of sloppy joe-ish, but added a can of chick peas, cumin and adobo seasoning, and added spinach and greens. how weird does that sound?
sounds like curry
bbl i am hungry!
it is bizarre, but tasty
Yay for Moll's sloppy joes!
I just got a great video of my son and his summer camp co-workers dancing in a flash mob at a local mall last weekend. It was great advertising for the camps.
Sloppy joe-ish sounds like an inner city religion. : )
When I was a kid, I loved Get Smart. Max Smart had a phone in his shoe, which I thought was absolutely hilarious. Now everybody has a mobile phone. I reckon in another 20 years, Molly will be able to teleport her sloppy joes over to Ireland with a minimum of fuss. (pity I will have to wait 20 years..)
Wait a minute and back up the soul train. In 20 years, you and I are going to be lounging around in a stately manor and having the kitchen staff cook for us.
Only if I can be the acerbic Dowager Countess.... Molly, you can be Cora!
I have been practising the eyebrow arch so beloved of Maggie Smith!
We'll call it Upton Gabby, since we will spend hours chatting.
I'm afraid I will be too dowager like to be Cora, but I will defer to your acerbic self and your eyebrow arch.
We will tsk-tsk at our children and wonder who's doing who in the servants quarters.
Yeah. And our servants will be selected from the plebs in the Penalty Box on Babble. They will be deferential and subservient and do away with corpses when required. Oh yes... I can see it all now!
And once a day, we will look at each other, confused like and say "What's a weekend?"
With arched eyebrows!
On that note, with a smile on my face, I will toddle off to bed. Thanks Molly. And good night all. Hugs all round.
Night Soodle.

Even though this is a very tiny grid,it took me ae4/4s to finish. Now here's a story of clues for you to make no4/4 of.Seven years ago I became a ne5/22 wed.I had a very non-traditional wedding.To4/6 and I got married in the to 4/8 of Ne 6/30, Mass. There were on 4/6 20 guests. I wore no make-up; nothing on my eyelashes¬hing on my eyebr4/10s. The bridesmaids wore br 5/22 dresses. The ge4/6lemen wore suits, not of tuxes. I did not wear a white go 4/10. Instead, I wore a ne 4/4 colored dress with a silk ro4/6 over it. My wedding dress was strapless so I could show off my ta 6/18 of hubby’s&my initials in a heart. There was no wedding cake that was ea 5/10. Instead, there was an assortment of cheese cakes.Hubby and I also did not have a traditional honeymoon. For our honeymoon hubby & I we 4/8 camping and slept in a te 4/4 for a week. Husband is getting ag 7/36d as I am on the computer so I am going to sign off. I hope you have no6/18d my clues and found more words. Hi, Neil!
ty, for the stats neil
i was thinking today about my boy--i overheard him tell a friend how smart he thought i was not to remarry when his dad died and i thought: sure you little bastard i didn't remarry because you made my life hell every time a dated and it was not worth it to me
hmmm you look like you are here neil
You're very welcome, Picklesny.
I kinda sorta am, jmc... and elsewhere too. All at the same time! That takes talent I don't have.
excuse me offensive language there jmc

Check it Jellen... link to a funny photo of us, just taken today to enter a contest with.

Not long ago actually.
Uhhh, why is that Pickles?
hi folks
HI!
idk?
JMC, just let the boy think you smart, and be glad for the time he made you take to move from one place to another. My boy has done the same for me.
Hi welki.
Hi again Molly!

Did I do ok y'think?
just don't say it with ink
last column down
Yeah Pickles!
welki! *runs and jumps into welki's arms*
It is a goofy smile!
Lonely is understandable. The way I see things, lonely isn't a good reason to jump into a relationship though. I will stop waxing philosophical now.
woot is not a word?
Alas, no, Picklesny...
*Stomps foot* Woot IS a word. If freakin' "arvo" is a word, according to Babble, woot should be.
well my point is that it is easier to get to the point of jumping into a relationship if you actually date. . . .not just because you are lonely though i agree
*scoops up je and wraps her in a j.d. flavored hug* sweetie!! one of those times, huh?
i agree molly
Dating is a good first step...
there there molls I stands by you "woot" is a word and we say it every day in the chog
thanks welki. . . .just really need a job
or someone who will keep me . . . i am easy
I see your point JMC. A child who is "anti Dad replacement" makes it hard to date. Although to be honest, I haven't considered another man in my life since my husband passed. Just me.
lol, jmc
could always find one if you jump over to the 'dark side' :)
much harder to date at 60 jell

ah well don't mind me but my roommate got her boyfriend over tonight and i was remembering sex
Maybe standards are changing, welki :)

ohhh, didn't know you found a room mate! working out okay so far?
except for the sex noise?
sure, jellen - post menopausal women are the new 'it' girls *lmao*

she is very sweet. pays on time and i almost never see her. the ideal tenant.
really welki, i'm just in time
it's sort of cute - my husband gets jealous
but i really needed income from somewhere
I was just gonna say, sounds ideal.
My "roommate" is pretty ideal too. ;)
Sounds like a good arrangement, jmc...
yes neil. . . ?
oh and she is on a practicum so it is for 3 months max
she is happy because my rent is low for this area
Sounds like a good arrangement, jmc.

Might as well not rush to do that if nobody's using it.

Neil, in the education world, we always ask ourselves "Why reinvent the wheel?" I'm always taking ideas from internet and using them in my lesson plans.

no, I am near Melbourne...we are having a relatively mild non-eventful Summer (so nice!)
good, pity those affected
Yeah, Qld is very lovely but I don't think I could cope with that tropical type weather and all it brings with it
Still here, Min?
It's just y'know... it's work to put that list together. Then it proves pointless if everyone else is posting one anyway... I could just have done something better with the time it took me, is all. If it's not needed anway that is.
Hi everyone, and hey there Neil, I used your list last night and much appreciated
its always appreciated neil
Well not if nobody's using it! Haha.
Hey there flosey.
hi Flosey
we don't always see the good of our sowk
And glad someone did, but if there's only gonna be lots of them around there's no point really.
work
I appreciate your effort - but if someone else is liable to post one, then perhaps let them, I understand you're a busy young man
hi lyn
I look way too positive here don't I? :P Almost kind of Prozac-y, lol.
nah,
Hi flosey! How are you doing tonight? Welcome to the grid.
Uhhh, load profile and go to link in update. The entire photo is at that link. It's silly. We're trying to win the couch we've already bought... getting the company to pay for it.
great thanks Min, and you?
Neil, I am sure people appreciate your list in BabAnon and I ALWAYS ALWAYS give credit to whose list I am posting.
Think of it this way, they are using it in an indirect way Neil
Well the person you're crediting took it from me I'm pretty sure, but anyway... it's not about that. It's just why spend the time doing it if it's not needed, that's all.
Just seems like a waste of time.
hello
hi mlf
